Communique to All Known Defence Contractors

Greetings. If you are reading this transmission, you have been deemed a suiteable candidate to fulfill the Military needs of the E.V.I.L. Alliance Bloc. We currently have a long list of military equipment needs, as well as training needs, as shall be detailed below.

Main Battle Tank.
E.V.I.L. is currently looking for a modern battle tank to serve as the backbone of our land forces. Our needs are basic, we require a vehicle with a quick firing gun, a gun capable of tearing through the majority of armor we will encounter on the modern battle field. Armor should be sufficient to engage in armored combat, as well as close in ambushes and guerilla warfare. Systems should be advanced, capable of targeting enemy forces and bypassing enemy defence systems.

Standard Battle Rifle.
We seek a combat weapon suiteable for all regions of combat, a sturdy reliable weapon that will preform in all fields. Range, rate of fire and accuracy are of course prime concerns, but price is of course also a priority.

Infantry Transportation System.
Some sort of APC or IFV. We need a vehicle capable of moving our troops through and into hostile ground all the while keeping them alive. It should be durable and capable of engaging hostiles with effectiveness. We do not want a vehicle that requires constant band-aids everytime it sees an RPG.

Artillery Systems.
Large and medium calibre with various mobility. High accuracy and long range are a must, as well as the ability to fire various munitions.

Backround


In various Wars and conflicts, The Peoples Freedom has used the M-121 "Nova" It served well, but it had become increasingly obsolete. The Peoples Freedom soon offered a contract to build a new MBT. Omega Computer Systems won the contract. They were to design a tank that could equal such greats as the Sarzonian Z-34 "Bonham" and the ST-37 Mekhev. Now, Omega believes it has created the MBT that will usher The Peoples Freedom armored forces into a new era.
Weapon Systems

At Omega, much thought went into what the main weapon would be on the NM-19. After looking at many battle tanks, Omega decided to use the 125mm ETC gun. The 125mm was slightly larger than most MBT's cannons and was still capable of destroying enemy armour. The weapon uses what Omega calls the Coumpter Projectile Assist, it reduces recoil from the weapon and increases range.

The Secondary Weapon was important to Omega designers. Noting the usage of "Tank-CWIS" and advanced armor used by MBT's, designers knew they would need a powerful weapon. A 30mm cannon was made, but instead of using normal ammo, Air-burst ammunition was used. Adding a very high rate of fire, the weapon proved capable of destroying APC's and IFV's as well as infantry and small buildings such as pillboxes. A .50 machine gun is the Coaxial Weapon. The Tank also has a 82mm mortar for use against infantry and fortified positions. In some variants this is replace by AA missiles. In addition, The Commander has a 15.5 mm machine gun. A 7.62 mm Gattling gun, powered by the Defreage Tracker, provides defense against enemy missiles.

Finally, AGTM's were added. Called Apollo's, the advanced Missile can power-fly at nearly Mach 7 though real speed is more 6.5. The weapon is KE, and provides a powerful Kinetic kill. It also has a very advanced guiding system. Also on certain tanks, the Apollo's are cut in half in size and are used as anti Missile weapons, they are capable of intercepting most missiles. The Apollos are mounted on back of the tank, in a box launcher.

Armour Systems


First, the NM-19 is protected by a Energy Dispersal System. When a high-speed weapon comes in, the metal bends and forces the round to bounce off or glance the armor. The Second Layer is a Non-Explosive Reactive Armour (NxRA) this advanced armour provides protection against HEAT rounds. The Third Layer is a Honeycomb Magnesium Armour, and provides protection against any weapon, it is superior to steel and titanium armors. The Fourth Layer Is made of Depleted Uranium and provides more protection against KE rounds. The Fifth and final layer provides defense from NBC using a special Alloy.

Finally, the armour under the NM-19 is reinforced in order to help the tank and crew members survive anti-tank mines.

Electronics


Omega Computer Systems is a Computer company and that is reflected in the electronics of the NM-19 which are very advanced and superior to many tanks.

A CM-19 Periscope is used as the primary viewfinder of the NM-19. 360 degree rotation, X-ray, Infared, Night-vision and normal views. Electronic Target Finder, and laser range finder. Information about the traget is dispayed. Also Cameras are placed in critical locations on the tank allowing greater visability. In addition information is uploaded to the XM Graphic System, which displays a 3-D view to Commanders.

The Gunner has access to a quad magnifaction sight, with Target Identifcation, with laser rangefinder, and linked to XM Graphic System and the Center Fire Control Computer. It also sends target information to other tanks. The Laser ranfinder finds targets in two to three seconds and displays weak-points and the suggested weapon to use. It also comes with a link-up to GPS systems and Infantry.

After much thought, Omega designers decided for the first time, not to have a loader. Instead, an autoloader would work with the Gunner and Computer systems to give the round needed. A round can be loaded in three seconds.
Engine Systems


A 2,200 Horsepower GP engine has been adapted for use with the NM-19. The combined Gasoline-hybrid engine offers Maximum results. The Engine uses Thermal Sealing to reduce noise. Maximum speed is 58mph thouge no more than 40mph is suggested in the field.

We at E.V.I.L. are thuroughly impressed with the vehicle offered, seeing no draw backs other than it's potential price excess against competitors. The bidding shall remain open for some time.

We are glad to see the entrance of one of our own member nations into the running, even more thrilled about the reduced price. The competition shall remain open until a larger number of tanks have been entered.

Also, we would like to announce that our next MBT tank project, the Neo-Panzer II, is already under way and will have a large cannon and a anti-EMP system, although it has one in-herent flaw that our planned Panzer I variation can cover, Stand-off power. For true MBT-to-MBT our Neo-Panzer II will be up there, but from long shots the Neo-Panzer I will need to cover it.

Regarding the Neo-Panzer line of tanks... They are impressive. If you are interested, our military consultants have a few ideas to make them even better without changing their coast too much.

Here is what our consultant have to say about improving the Neo-Panzer. Some of these suggestions are probably things you intended to have that might not have made it into your official specifications.

- Your main gun should be stabilized. This basically means your gun won't go up and down when it passes over bumps and such.
- Add NBC filters and EMP shielding

We highly recommend the M26 Battle Rifle and M32 Light Machine Gun, as well as the Fumetsu no Heishi battle suit.

We would like to inquire as to the past use of the Nezumi Oni IFV, any noteable battles/wars it was used in, and to what effect. Reports and Commander Statements on the performance would be excellent.

Unfortunately, as a recent design by a largely peaceful nation, the Nezumi Oni has not yet been battle tested. However, it's heavy armor and reliable tracked propulsion give it maneuverability not found in more lightly armored wheeled designs such as the Dartian Terrier.

The Corporate Alliance would like to recommend the M26 Rifle and the M32 LMG, their performance in the pacification of communist rebels and of Galation civilian remnants was admirable.

The M32 particularly is light, has great recoil reduction, very accurate, and has a large magazine capacity. With locally manufactured tungsten rounds it easily penetrates Kevlar with ceramic plate, and can tear through Kraven armor with the sheer volume of rounds.

I have a new tank I designed with help from NS Draftroom and Aequatio, and a neat Anti Tank gun, however, why would I sell these to someone who will probably end attacking me or my allies?

I just need proof that Im not a target and that if I sell to you, I wont get attacked with my own weapons.
