I can see we might have to disambiguate when referring to the Imperial Air Force- the Imperial Air Force is also the name of Roycelandia's air force, along with the Imperial Navy, Imperial Merchant Marine, and the Imperial Maritime Air Service (the Roycelandian equivalent of the Fleet Air Arm), not to mention the Imperial Guard, Imperial Airways, Imperial Mining & Petroleum Company, Imperial Trading Company... you get the idea. ;)

Just so everything is clear, I found out what's in an armored legion:

It's made up of five armored cohorts, one artillery cohort, and four mixed cohorts (engineering, logistics, air, air defense and so on)

Keep in mind that every cohort is made up of five centries

Each armored century has the following:

5x Ariete II MBTs

5x Dardo Hitfist IFVs (35 mechanized legionaires)

1x Dardo AA vehicle

1x Caesar 155mm SPA

I guess we knowmy position, I am going to say that I think that you are ready. I think that NG needs to wiegh in on one major issue, what about Sicily and Sardinia? Italy includes them in his claim, but I think France annexed them a few years back. That, and Ceaser Maximus is pretty much seen as a French lapdog. I think the idea of the claim is that this will change, as Roma starts to plot its new course. Also, I seem to remember that NG posted somewhere that 5 legions were being sent to Africa. Also, Italy is engaged ina state of war with ECOWAS and the Soviets. These are all pertinent issues.

But Vecron, you need to really make a post detailing your main plan for the nation, but beyond that, I would say that you should start making diplomatic posts, or maybe even make an opening post here starting your fist stoyline arc.

Well, NG and I already discussed Sicily and he said that he is fine with me getting back Sicily, and that Charles III will remain there and answer to me. So that's all hammered out. I'll try to get that post for the plan of the nation post up soon, hopefully tomorrow, but if not, then definitely Saturday.

And I said that Charles III would remain as a figurehad only with no actual power. A hollow King if you will, but he would not 'answer to you', so to speak, just sit in a castle and look pretty. He really couldn't answer to you, as he has 0 power.

This hollow King I think is a great way to draw our nations closer: a crown with no power as a figurehead in Sicliy which is 100% yours. Oh, and check out the marriage offer. Here at the HL, you have to have a wedding ring to be a full member.

Heroes?

A new rank in your organisation structure? The commander of Generals, a Darth. It's a Latin term, yeah that's it.

Let's just hope that there is no rebellion. And when you build your battleship, don't include a two-meter weak spot that can blow the whole damn thing up! After all, my pilots regularly practice targetting womprats. And they aren't much bigger than two meters.

I love it Quinntonia. To be honest, a Star Destroyer Carrier doesn't sound like a bad idea. Maybe I should put money into research to replace my tanks with 10 meter tall walkers that can be destroyed by a bunch of logs.
