The United Nations(UN) is an international organization that was founded in 1945 to replace the League of Nations. The organization was founded to create a forum for all nations to meet and discuss global topics. In the times we are facing now, the UN will have to take a stronger stance against conflicts and will need to adjust their ways to stop warfare and terrorism.

Since the United Nations is not involved in Iraq, that is Australias perogative. But, on the withdrawl of Afghanistan may the US inquire to why they would pull out of such an important mission. Even with Iraq being viewed by many as wrong, the US is confused why Australia would pull out of something they viewed as very important?

The Australian public view of the campaigns in both operations is that it is failing. The Australian people democratically voted to remove its military forces as a result the Australian Government must respond accordingly.

The Australian Government is commited to the fight against Terrorism and the importance it has on World and Australian Security however it feels the campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan are not fighting terrorism but fuelling the Terrorists in terms of "Political Ammunition" for justifiing its actions the world over as well as recruitment for "suicide bombers".

The Australian Government would like to call for the disengagement of Coalition Forces from Iraq within the next year. The Australian Government firmly belives once the withdrawal has taken place the situation will vastly improve. With the support of her Middle Eastern neighbours. The Australian Government belives that the presence of Coalition Forces especially US Forces is worsening the situation rather than aiding it.

The Australian Government is committed to a unified front upon the War on Terror as a result the Australian Government is willing to abandon its previous decsion to withdraw its forces from Operation Freedom battlefields. However the Australian Government calls for a timetable for withdrawal!

North Korea Proposal
The People of Japan would like to call for stronger opposition and greater enforcement of passed sanctions against North Korea due to its refusals to disband its nuclear weapons program. North Korea has proven itself brazen and without regard for other nations safety or security.

Further more, Japan would like to propose the Mutual Defence Treaty for the Indian Ocean; and requests an audience with the South Korean and Taiwan Representatives at there connivance

UN Australian Diplomatic Response:

The Australian Government is supportive of such a move. It would like to call upon all nations of the world to respond and support stronger international action towards the North Korean Threat. The Australian Government calls upon the Coalition of Freedom to turn its attention from Iraq and Afghanistan to the real threat of North Korea.

The Australian Government calls upon the council and in particular the USA to draw an immediate withdrawal from Iraq and Afghanistan resolution. The Australian Government has abandoned its immediate withdrawal policy and will withdraw in Six Months so to give the operation one final chance.
