Angels World Hopes To Host International Swim Competition

Angeltown, Angels World—Today Angela Hinderson, the President of Angels World, met with the renound national swim team to discuss her plan to host an International swim competition in the capitol of Angels World, Angeltown. She plans to hold the event in the newly built Madison stadium, which was built with water sports in mind, and holds a little over 92,000 people.
“I think the competition will be extremely fun and enjoyable. Swimmers from all over the world will be here, competing against each other to win the first place prize, and international recognition.” President Hinderson said during a recent interview with the Berrytown Gazette. “We hope to have a diverse mix of countries out here, from the very large, to the smaller, lesser known countries around the world. We want the competition to be as multicultural as possible, and we want to include the rest of the world in every aspect of this event.”
The competition will be made up of one hundred competitors, one competitor per country. They will then compete for a spot in the top ten slots in the competition. After the first round of the competition, the top ten competitors with the highest scores will go on to the finals where they will compete against each other for the top five slots.
“There will be five prizes for the five competitors with the highest scores out of the top ten.” President Hinderson says. “Each prize has multiple prizes attached, and we hope the winners will be very satisfied with their winnings.”
She goes on to say that she hopes the International community will be willing to come to a small country like Angels World for an event of this magnitude. “I’m sure there will be a few countries that will refuse to come because they would much rather see this event held in one of the larger nations of the world. But I hope the majority of the International community will agree to participate in this event, where they will be treated with the utmost respect by the people of Angels World.”
Application submissions for the competition begin today, and everyone in Angelstown is holding their breath, waiting to see if the International community will agree to come to Angels World for the competition.
The Berrytown Gazette is a member of the Angels World’s National Press Association, and is located in the city of Berrytown, just north of Angelstown. The newspaper is circulated to over 3 million subscribers nationwide, and is published as an online newspaper at www.berrytowngazette.com.
Rules
There will be one hundred (100) competitors—one (1) male or female per country. Countries are encouraged to submit as many applications as they like, but only one (1) competitor from each country will be chosen to participate in the competition. Countries may not submit more than one (1) application per applicant, and fraud will not be tolerated.
There will be twelve (12) judges, and the countries that are selected to be represented in the competition can submit applications for the individual they would like to be admitted to the judge’s panel, but the applicant must be a professional who does or has worked directly with swimmers of a national swim team(s) as a trainer or a coach.
Prizes
There will be five (5) prizes. The first prize will consist of a gold medal, $6,000, a voucher for 60,000 free air miles from a major airline, a free vacation to anywhere of his/her choice, and International recognition as the champion of the international swim competition. The second place prize consists of a silver medal, $5,000, a voucher for 50,000 free air miles on a major airline, a free vacation to anywhere of his/her choice, and International recognition as the second place winner of the international swim competition. The third place prize consists of a bronze medal, $4,000, a voucher for 40,000 air miles on a major airline, a free vacation to anywhere of his/her choice, and International recognition as the third place winner of the international swim competition. The fourth place prize consists of a fourth place trophy made of porcelain, $3,000, a voucher for 30,000 air miles with a major airline, and International recognition as the fourth place winner of the international swim competition. And the fifth place prize consists of a fifth place trophy made of porcelain, $1,000, a voucher for 25,000 free air miles with a major airline, and International recognition as the fifth place winner in the international swim competition.
All applicants—judges and competitors—must sign the following agreement which will be presented at the bottom of their application.
Agreement:
Any and all cheating, mistreatment, or intimidation of judges, competitors, or anyone else will not be tolerated. Futhermore, all judges and competitors must agree to follow the laws of Angels World set forth by the government of Angels World, while within national borders, and any individual who breaks these laws will be prosecuted or deported, whichever is deemed appropriate by the Angels World national government.
Application for Competitors
Name, age, date of birth, gender, name of country and region the applicant resides in, swimming experience, and a personal note by the applicant telling why they should be chosen to compete.
Judge’s Application
Name, age, date of birth, the country and region the applicant resides in, professional experience in the coaching or training of professional swimmers, such as those on a national swim team(s), and apersonal note telling why they should be chosen to judge the competition.
Note: Notes can be as long or as short as the applicant desires.
