Armament: PTS-17 40 mm magnetic coil supported cannon
Secondary: TPA-77 12.4 mm machine gun
Length: 7.14 m
Width: 3.6 m
Height: 3.2 m (without the Kupol-II protection system)
Weight: 18.3 tons
Powerplant: MD-10 V10 diesel hybrid
Max Speed: 120 km/h
Off-Road: 87 km/h
In Water: 11 km/h
Armor:
-Turret: Pockets of AMAP Armor imbedded in air tight holes 3 mm under the steel frame. Space between pockets filled with rubber. Designed to spread the force of the impacted projectile through out the whole turret.
-Sides: imbedded Vzriv-III heavy ERA under 2 mm of Titanium alloy. Behind the ERA blocks is an additional 10 mm layer of AMAP and a finishing layer of Kevlar and Rubber.
-Front/Back: 30 mm of AMAP composite armor with a Kevlar/Rubber finish.
Active Protection Systems:
-Kupol-II protection system: Kupol-II is a major improvement on the Kupol-I used on similar type vehicles during the RCR era. Unlike its predecessor Kupol-II is completely integrated with the SIVS system and can now receive analyzed data from all over the battlefield within the signified sector in which it is engaged in combat. In addition the advancement in the explosives technologies Kupol-II can propel its charge much further then before, this time over 200 meters. However all other things remained the same, Kupol-II still has the 360 degree acting radius as well as an ability to launch a mini-projectile packed with shrapnel that will explode exactly above the incoming missile and shoot it down. However now with the full integration the reaction time of the system is greatly improved making it possible to shoot down even supersonic projectiles if they are fired from over 8 kilometers away.
Passive Protection Systems:
-SLEPEN jamming device: Designed to confuse the incoming guided missiles.
-4x Smoke Grenade Launchers
Other Electronics:
-SIVS uplinking system
-ALMAZ-III Processor: Designed to work with SIVS to output projectile simulations, categorize battlefield threats and give best possible shooting patterns and targeting information.
Range: 300 km
Crew: 2 (+12 passengers)

Variants:

BMNV-1PT Zver

The ERA blocks were removed being replaced with additional 70 mm of AMAP as well as steel alloy. Turret removed, the top of the vehicle is reinforced with additional 20 mms of AMAP instead where is a Kopie-IV missile launching system that has a 12 hole revolver styled chamber that is placed inside of the tank in the remodeled passenger compartment along with additional ammunition that is loaded into the revolver by a hydrolic mechanism. The munitions are PTR-77, capable of guided armor penetration up to approximately 10 km. A PD-14 man operated MG is put on top as an anti-personnel measure.

Crew: 2
Weight: 23 tons
Maximum speed: 105 km/h
Off-Road: 79 km/h
In-Water: 5 km/h

BMNV-1D Strij

Armor protection reduced to 10 mm of AMAP on sides and top, and Vzriv-III ERA on the outside in selected spaces covering approximately 40% of the surface area. Kupol-II removed. This model can be paradropped, it was especially designed for the directorates paratrooper forces.

Crew: 2 (+12 passengers)
