((All are welcome to join this thread. To poke their noses in foreign affairs. I wanted to make a thread to have an interesting start to my country, rather, my empire. Feel free to intervene and post. All are welcome. War, battles, and just plain politics... All are good for here.))

The region of Crimson Forests lay in new unrest as words of war reach beyond the small borders. Here in this part of the world a war is waging, a war of 'freedom'. A fighting force waving the flag of 'Allustrius' has been seen all over the region fighting smaller states under the words of "Freeing the people from the curropt." Their orgins seem to be from a small nation in the area that was just recently overthrown by a rebel regime; After the rebels overthrew their area they began to fight the others who they claim 'lay oppressed'. Many of the smaller states are coming to the UN asking for aid despite their lack of membership in such. Many of these smaller states seem to be run by nothing less than warlords with poverty stricken throughout their country. The UN has yet to reply.
Though in the hollow walls of the UN embassy war is only spoken in words, here in the Crimson Forest region war is painted upon the faces of the many people. Some bear smiles for their newfound freedom, some bear frowns and teary eyes for the lost of their love ones, but one is clear upon all faces--War has touched them.

The Crimson forest region lay in war and the people endure the fighting. The Allustrius army are shrouded in their lush forests and strike with lightning tactics. Once beautiful cities lay war scarred, but not in ruined. The once inviting forest have a looming danger to them as many fear that the liberation fighters may lay in wait. The leader of the imperial force keeps himself shrouded in mystery and by rings of administration and red tape. The forces employ guerilla warfare tactics and are ill equiped compared to most modern forces. They rely on innovative tactics and the contagious rebel yell to win their battles. The lands lay under the seige of liberation Allustrius has set upon itself. The rather fuedal lands begin to fall to Allustrius and all it all seems like it shall if all goes to uninterupted plans.
