Oil...the liquid which controls the world, the people, and the economies of nations. Wars have been fought for it, men have sought it, and powerful men control it. Oil has made or broken all who seek it. Without it, the world would stop. Whoever controls it, controls the world.

United Oil Company has emerged as the largest oil company in the United States. After an agressive campaign of buying out other companies they are now on the brink of buying out their only major competitor, Yalta Oil, a Russian Oil Company. Chief Executive Carl Hayward is the architect of the company's power. Several committees of Congress and other agencies are investigating United execs and employees for embezzlement, bribery, and other charges. However, Hayward has several congressmen in his pocket, bottomless funds, and an iron will to control the oil market and is willing to do anything to control it. Yalta's executive, Yuri Malakoff has disappeared and presumed dead, the investigations are stalled, and United grows into a monopoly which cannot be broken. Can United be stopped? Will their scandals be brought to light?

History: John is one of the accountants at United Oil. He's worked for ten years with the company. For the past few years he's helped to hide the companies money transactions with skill. A good sum of money went to him for doing so. However, the FBI approached him, in exchange for information and several important documents, the FBI would not prosecute him and would help protect him from the powerful company. Now, he has decided to come forward and assist the FBI. However, United will do anything to prevent him from exposing their secrets. He's been described as smart, methodical, and a hard worker and a valuable asset to the company. Now, he races to stay alive and to stay one step ahead of a skilled assasin and a powerful company.

Basically, John turns against the company and they try to stop him by whatever means necesary.

Donny was born in Chicago and lived in a Mafia run neighborhood. He hated living in a place where criminals run things and decided to get out. He worked hard and served in the United State Army. He had been a Green Beret until he was offered a job to be a CIA agent. The reasons for this are classified but it is rumored that Donny had to perform a few black ops actions in Iraq and Kuwait during the First Iraq war.

Donny is now a special agent for the CIA and he has been requested to look into the matters involving the mysterious disappearance of Yuri Malakoff and as such is currently researching and gathering information on United.

History: A mysterious terrorist leader that has surfaced recently, his organisation, known as the 'Heart of Armaggeddon' or HOA, has been conducting terrorist activities. According to the members, they are fighting for 'World Peace', but all they do is kill indiscrimnantly.

Recently, the group has been targetting the worlds oil infrastracture more and more. They are believed to be responsible for the destruction of several oil refineries in Kazkhstan, the resulting cash shortages triggered a bloody civil war. Many defence analysts believe that that was a test, that the HOA is trying to drive the price of oil so-high that developed nations would be forced to seize control of oil rich developing nations in order to secure their needs. Most analysts believe that the resulting resource wars would drive more recruits into terrorist organisations... including the HOA.

Interesting premise... I like this idea.

History:
An ex-MI5 intelligence officer, having been recruited as a Captain from the British Army, Ernst is of mixed German-English extraction. Since leaving the British Intelligence Services, he's been known to do freelance work for anyone who cares to ask, and can afford his services. United have approached him more than once to do some job for them... he is essentially a spy-for-hire.

His mixed parentage means he can speak German fluently, whilst his intelligence days have taught him enough Arabic to pass. Although some believe he served in a desk job, he was an operational officer, and as such participated in numerous black-bag operations. As such, he has extensive knowledge of weapons, demolitions, and all manner of intelligence gathering.

Recently, he's been known to do work for the United States government, investigating United under the radar. Having infiltrated the organisation as a mid-level executive (thanks to some fraudulent papers worked up by old contacts in the FBI, he is known as Thomas Carter within the company), he is even now trying to decipher the myriad and shadowy events within the company.

((Basically, whilst he's a free agent, I can play him as the United Exec and the mole.))

History: A young, shady European oil entrepreneur whose company was recently bought out by United Oil, leaving him broke. Seeking vengance, Bram von Indigo traveled to the United States with the last of his money to get even with Carl Hayward. A friend and former buisness parter of Yuri Malakoff, news of the Russian's death has made him even angrier. He'll do anything to uncover United Oil's illegial schemes, even if that includes murder. A sketchy character who only looks out for himself , there's no telling how many people he will double and triple cross to achive his goals.

Bio: A former Hell's Angel, Jack turned stateside in a case involving smuggling drugs across the US-Mexico border. He joined a company called "Atlas Corporation", a logistics company that performed wetwork for federal agencies that couldn't find legal evidence or couldn't be caught performing certain tasks. Around the same time Yalta was annexed by United Oil company, Jack's brother Patrick, a low-ranking employee at United Oil disappeared with an ominous note saying he died in a "rig fire" was returned to their mother. Hesson's agency was contracted to find dirt on United Oil by the ATF, using "any means necessary", and Jack was more than willing to do it.
