The Birth of an Empire - Allustrius

((This is free to any nation who wants to join and poke their nose into foreign affairs of unrest. Aiding sides is encouraged as well as any other measures. Its for the fun of RP. I wanted to have a nice interesting start to my nation.))

SNC News Report:
Reports of fighting across the Crimson Forest region have spurred up as many the once warrings states seem to be more and more overtaken by their people. One leader seems to lead the regime claiming the word of "Allustrius", supposedly the nation flag they wish to fly upon the land they are fighting for. More and more the country expands to the warring areas around itself, but the fighting continues. Some smaller countries fight back furiously and others appeal to the UN to aid them despite their lack of membership to it. This imperial force seems to be on the roll with one phrase in mind "Purge the curropt and bring about a new freedom of our people".

BBHC News Report:
More and more fighting is happening in this small region as more land falls under the flag of this upcoming force. The UN has yet to give any official word to if it will help the expanding nation or not. None of the fighters seem to be apart of the UN and many nations are straying away from the idea of poking their nose into such affairs. However the fighting here is in the streets and painted upon the face of the many citizens that reside within it. Some with smiles of a new order free from curroption, some with frowns and teary eyes for their loved ones lost. It's the horror of war and it may seem that this way will go on unnoticed.

----

The region is unrest and the empire is on tis war path. It started as a small regime of rebels fighting their government and that rebellion ended with a sucessful coup. Determined to free the other surrounding people the rebels rose flag as their own country which soon became an empire as their guerilla tactic warfare spread outside its own borders. The leader of Allustrius is secluded in rings of secracy and red tape; an obvious attempt to make sure meddlers wouldnt have an easy time.

The troopers of this empire are armned with second rate rifles, pistols, and very few vehicles. They are relying on Guerilla warfare, under handed tactics, and the contagious rebel yell. Some beautiful, but simple cities are lay in wartorn ruin. The wilderness now and unknown trap; the once lush and welcoming forest seems cold and war hidden as many fear to venture to far into them. The war ensues as planned with the bases and cities of the enemy to take, this is, of course, if all goes to uninterrupted plans.

The King had heard a report of the violence and anarchy in the region known as the Crimson Forest. From what he heard, the time seemed right for a most Christian advance to halt the violence and raise from the ashes a new dynasty of nobility. He shared his plan with his advisors…

Foreign Office Intelligence Department Report

Top Secret - Eyes of the Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Prime Minister and His Most Imperium Highness ONly

Brief Analysis of the Situation in the Crimson Forest Region

Overview

Following recent upsurges of violence within the Crimson Forest region, it appears that a group with Imperial aspirations has successfully overthrown the central government and began annexing land around the area.

Current analysis of force numbers on all sides are small, and information on opposing groups is sketchy.

The Analysis of the Foreign Office Intelligence Department is a maintenance of vigilance and public neutrality at this time until more such information can be ascertained, or upon the possible victory of the imperial elements currently in combat.

Until such a time be deemed suitable for intervention, the Foreign Office Intelligence Department recommends secret support through supplying weapons to the imperial elements, utilising surplus M16A1s and Colt .45 Sidearms currently in the State Arsenal.

Plan Approved

Secret Transmission to Jesse Rives of the Empire of Allustrius

'In promoting the development of Imperial dynasties across the world to further promote stability and growth everywhere, the Imperium would like to offer your forces a total of five thousand M16A1 Assault Rifles and two thousand M1911 Colt. 45 sidearms for your military forces, to enhance your fighting capability in the current conflict. Air drops can be provided by C130 Aircraft of the Imperium Air Force'

((BTW I welcome any sort of incursion missions or Spec Ops things. I have to keep my posts rather dry of the human element and novelization for how broad the RP is, but given specific events and I can spice it up a bit.))

A simple message is hand delivered to Emperor Charles Conniferus VI from one of his officials. The message is written by hand .

----
Emperor Conniferus,

I have received your message and I am quite pleased to hear that I have support in free these feudal lands from their war lord leaders. I trust not to send a message by anything other than this, paper itself is hard to track, especially when it is so innocent in appearance. I took all the needed measures to see to it you received this personally.

Although, let me get to the point of this message. I humbly accept your weapons and I thank you whole heartedly. With these munitions we can go forth with Operation Timber Wolf. I am very surprised a nation of your magnitude would give so many weapons to one of mine; of course, that is said with the highest respect.

With best regards,

Jesse Rives
----

The soldiers waited eagerly to receive their new weapons as they floated down from sky like rose petals. The crates were loaded up and shipped from base to base. Each soldier now had a well armed weapon and their old weapons now lay in storage for emergency use. Jesse oversaw the troopers and smiled at their newfound confidence. It was a week before Operation Timber Wolf would come into play. Intel on this plan was very little, but if spies dared to sink their claws in very deep they could tell it would be a planned assault on a fortress city in the area. This city was a warlords major military force and the fighting would be very violent and brutal given the ingenious design of the city.

The guns were loading and the vehicles were primed for the battle that was soon to come.

A large fleet set sail from the port city of Habichtburg in northwestern Cotenshire. It was to bring several Royal Expeditionary Forces to the region of the Crimson Forest. Tens of thousands of fighting men, several armored divisions, and some air support was aboard the vessels as well. Scout planes soared above the clouds many miles away from the fleet, informing the admirals of any ships that they might come across.

(OOC: Is there any enemy navy or air force that I have to worry about? My next post should be much more detailed. Also, the reason I didn’t send a message to Rives in this post is because my leaders aren’t yet aware that he is in charge of the rebel group. They will land and then find out about him.)
Haraki
14-12-2006, 01:10
The Harakian government had had its daily meeting, and the usual governmental press recorders were waiting when Foreign Minister Peter Firth stepped out and onto the podium. A few flashes from print media met him, as he cleared his throat. "One of the things we have discussed today," he said, speaking loudly and clearly reading from a printed piece of paper he had set in front of him on the podium, "is the deteriorating situation in the Crimson Forests. We hear of the emerging power of the Allustrius faction. This both concerns and elates us.

"First of all, we feel it best for one unifying presence to be felt throughout the region. This solitary nation, hopefully leading through peace and example, will bring about order to chaos, and prevent undue bloodshed and the loss of more innocent lives. This we would like to see at all costs. The continued violence which seems to be carrying on every day in the Crimson Forests is far from ideal, and the continuous deaths of innocents is something we in Haraki have always tried to avoid everywhere.

"On the other hand, replacing the chaos with a dictatorial empire which would only oppress its own people is another thing we would like to avoid. Replacing a good leader and war with a bad leader and oppression is little improvement. With such rudimentary forms of communication wit the various factions, though, we have found it hard to find one which is democratic and not oppressive. We are going to leave it to the factions to make their own case. For a free and democratic Crimson Forests, Haraki will send aid. For a dictator who will treat their people as pawns, lambs to the slaughter for personal gain and power, we would rather fight all the factions and liberate a democratic nation from the ashes of all of them.

"That is all on that subject."

((OOC: OOCly spoken, yes there is a very small naval force and a very tiny air force. Nothing beyond a few choppers and as for the Navy mostly small technical boats and one flagship light frigate. None are out unless they need to be. Remember they are still rather low tech rebellion status.))

[Hakari & Cotenshire]

A small innocent looking boat bobs up and down as a man stares at the scout plane with binoculars. The man grimaces and turns to the others on the boat, he speaks quickly while motioning them to move out."It seems another force may want to take advantage of the situation. A force this large seems not to be for trade..."

The boat starts up and speeds off to the shore. The men reach the shore and venture far into the endless forests and finally to a bunker in the mountains. Through a system of cave walls, metal, and lights they reach a small office of a man in a crimson red General's uniform. The soldier salute the man and hand him a small report, then speak up, "Sir, we have bad news, the report says it all. Though the bad news does not end there, on my way to here another comrade gave me this report to give... He says that other large countries have seem to taken 'interest' in our situation."

The suited man takes the reports and read them, his brown eyes scanning quickly over the papers. The man is stands tall compared to most with his reddish brown hair coming down to his bottom of his neck and slicked back. He is of fair skin and looks to be in his late 20's. After he finishes reading the two reports he speaks up in an irate tone, "By the hells, by the damndable hells. Are you sure there are THIS many out there."

The man stays in an at-attention pose as he responds, "Well, no sir... We fathom there could be even more. We left before the fleet came to close to our boat. Secrecy is our most powerful weapon right now, after all."

The suited man sighs and responds, "I know, I know. You did well to do such, but this... Do not fret, I have a plan. Assemble the Shadow Wolves, my elite cadre. If they set foreign weapons and men upon our soil, we shall fight back. Although this may prove useful, with many men comes many opportunities to steal their equipment. In that respect have the Wire Monkey squadron ready too."

The soldier stifled a laugh and replied, "I am sorry Emperor Rives, but it is a funny name."

Jesse shook his head and responded, "It sounds funny for a reason. Most will not take them seriously as a threat... Until they find out that their vehicles and caches are gone and raided"

The soldier nodded in response while Jesse continued, "As for this news report of this Hakari country... I wish to keep an eye on them, they may pose a threat. I mean not to be a corrupt and abusive of my people, but an empire is not a democracy. I wont have my vision contradicted by some new suit who comes into play... The people can be appeased by the eyes of a new 'leader' but that will just be a figurehead. I will pull the strings until all pieces are in place... A plan from start to finish."

The soldier nods and returns to his duties. Jesse turns to a desk on which a laptop lays. The screen-saver is one and bounces back a small emblem with these words rapped around it, "Through power bring means of peace".

----

[Camgo]

Later in the day Jesse received a message and looked at it with a light laugh, his thoughts were a run with a simple train of thought.

1.5 million troops? What a powerhouse to send to a region which barley has three fold of that. I think this will work well and bad. With the huge amount of troops coming from this country with the rather large force from this other nation... Well I foresee blood bath, though not of my men. These two will most likely fight one another thinking each other is allied with me. In the midst of their blood I can reap the benefit of their weapons, vehicles, and other supplies they leave and set up. Not to mention my forces will only grow when they see these two titans fight. These fools, they aren't stopping me they are helping me. I should send them a flower bouquet.

Jesse laughed a little louder to himself and puts down the message. With knowledge that the people will not be a target of this and it do well to benefit him he walks away. The land may become scarred, but his resolve, power, and influence shall only grow.

On board the Naval ship Dougles

Sir
Our aircraft are in range for a bombardment.

Admiral John Abe pointed at the map stretched across the table.

I want all the ports to be attacked I want a LZ to be created to land the first 10,000 recon and SF troops. I also want any naval units they have to be destroyed. Then I want the bombers to move inland and drop there bombs on any military targets.

The bombers started there engines and started to fly off the ship decks and head towards the land. There was 500 bombers in the group. They started to drop there bombs in the ports and on any military naval units then headed inland.

((It pays to be a small rebel guerrilla warfare fighting force at times.))

The bombers find no trace of any military base in the region under control of Allustrius military forces. All of the ports, cities, and boats bear civilian flags as the military lay in hiding in their true bases. Each base is carefully hidden in mountains, caves, and underground; although as a whole the military does not have many bases. The only figurehead military base is Fort Tin'rous which was raided and captured from another country. At the news of the proposal of destroying them Allustrius had put up many dummies in outfits all along the base to make it appear that there were people at station. The base was undoubtedly destroyed, as well as many ports, but this did not go without notice. Soon BBHC News was back on site to relay the story.

-----

BBHC News:
Behind me is the ruins of an Allustrius port city. The city was once called Naroun, but now it is to be called rubble. War torn, destroyed, and painted in blood of not soldiers, but civilians. It was earlier today a large bombing force devastated not only this, but all port and port cities of this nation. The death toll is in the hundreds of thousands and the damage is not only measured high in cost, but in sentimental pain.

The Nation that attacked as well as another nation now lay in the seas that border this country. They surround it and outnumber the humble population. The region is caught in turmoil and painted in blood. The UN has given no official word on this, but while war is only a spoken word in the hollow walls of the UN it is clear that in this streets, the rubble that was once these streets; clear in the face of every man, woman, and child... Clear in the reflection of blood...War. War is clear, war and its horrors. Though this time the war is not to face, nor force, but to a people, the people of Allustrius.

Sir
Reports from the bombers say the didnt hit any military targets but sucessfully hit the port and have cleared a beach head. Your next orders sir.

Admiral John Abe stood up as I said move our recon teams and SF troops onto the beach and build a small ammo depo and hq. The move Alpha squad onto the beach they are to search near by towns they have the order to shot any one that has a gun in there hands.

On the decks of the ships.
The 10,000 troops loaded up into small landing craft. The troops had gas mask on and their armer covered their skin the armor was black it was bullet proof and could block sharpnull from a grenade.

On Allustrius beach
The troops moved with caution onto the beach they had mine sweepers infront of them. They moved into the town and took postions and waited for the main force well the recon troops moved into the forest.

Deep with in the granite underground bunkers of the Imperial High Command, sat the council. They were going over their first assessment since they had been formed. Here a remarkable situation was devloping. A man had risen, thrown a Coup, and had imperialist ambitions. It was simple for the men to do. They would send some men to help him, and once this was complete, blackmail him into forcing sovereignty of his nation and it's natural resources. With that, they typed up the message

OCC: Camgo, are you aware of the rules of Roleplay. An acceptable military force maximum is five percent of you population. This means you can have nine million soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines, maximum. Of these, maybe two million would actually be combat troops, the rest logistics or having other positions. The logistical supply train for such a force in another nation would be immense, and nigh impossible to get the supplies needed to places without that nation having a large infrastructure, which this one does not. Not to mention such large and supply trains are very lucrative targets for the guerrilla warfare that is being waged.

OOC: I was just going with the flow of it. I didn't want to call anything out and have the thread fall apart, I was quite offset by the number and equipment of the force. For the gear you specified to be on all the troopers would be expensive. Jesse and his Guerrilla fighters see this large number as nothing more than a bigger target to steal from. If you change the number of troopers you have sent I can edit my posts to match the number. Seriously though, its a smaller nation so why send 18 million? 750,000 soldiers alone would have the forces of Allustrius vastly outnumbered.

As the Cotenshirick fleet pressed onwards towards the troubles in the Crimson Forest, the rolling of snares could be heard above the waves crashing against the sides of the boats. An inspection ceremony was taking place aboard the carrier St. Clemons. Sailors and marines were lined up, and walking between them were several members of the Admiralty. Chief among them was Jacob Hollycraft, one of the most powerful Lord Admirals.

As Hollycraft and the officers around him strode past, inspecting the sailors and marines, a naval marine band played the march of the Admiralty.

A rather low ranked officer walking to the left of Hollycraft informed him of some recent sightings: “Sir, there have been several small ships spotted by our scout planes. They do not seem to pose much of a threat.”

“Well,” answered Hollycraft, “If they are truly not a threat, then we shall ignore them. If any of them come too close and appear to be hostile, we shall commandeer their vessels and seize their cargos.”

A rather higher ranking officer to his right informed the Lord Admiral of sightings of a different sort. “We are getting close to land, sir. Should I signal for the sending out of our advance scouts?”

“Go ahead. Send them out, but until we hear back from them I want the fleet to stay in this general area. I do not necessarily want to anchor here, as we might need to move someplace else in a hurry.”

“Aye, sir.”

A few minutes later, three civilian helicopters lifted off of a nearby carrier and began flying in a line towards the shore of the Crimson Forest. As they came upon the coast, they slowed down so that they could get a better view. They began scouring the area for any signs of people.

A simple message is returned by paper to the command to reach the eyes of those in charge.

Your offer is welcomed and could agreed upon if the factor of the military bases were taken out. I am all for the aspect of trade or even payment for aid. As you can well see I have my hands full already with foreign interferences and affairs, I would rather not have them fuller. My nation has the pitter-pattering feet of enough foreign soldiers, I'd rather not make it a year long thing. Alliances can be forged from desperate times, but you would understand if I am all to wary of outsiders given the circumstances I now face.

[Cotenshire]

The shores are filled with vehicles and troopers who can clearly be distinguished as foreign. They march and move through freshly ruined cities and ports and can be seen shoving citizens around and moving into homes in a rather abrasive fashion. The scouts can see the image of a few young scraggly dressed citizens emerge from the ruins of a building with pistols in hand only to be shot unmercifully by the invaders. The Imperial cities lay in ruin, their people in turmoil, but not by the force described on the news.

It could be guessed the forces of the military are laying in wait given the new element of their fight -- or it can be fathomed that they were defeated in a very dangerous, damaging, and bloody strike of swift subtle-less destruction.

At the last moment the 13th Heavy Airborne division was deployed. They would came and land at the nearest port, but the Airborne would be flown to an airport and immediately engage the enemy. At word of the pending Air Base locations single man couriers were sent with messages detailing where they could set up. All of the messages were on paper and all of the couriers were animals who undoubtedly had their trainers nearby lurking in the shadows of the forest or rubble. The messages contained three locations.

Location 1: Marrion Valley
Location 2: Terrious Field
Location 3: Ruins of Naroun Port Airport.

Each base was a rather crude set up. Tents, crates, and dirt runways -- with the exclusion of the Naroun airport -- all of it looked to be expanded upon recently from small central buildings that stood in solace amongst the trees of the forest. There were no men left in each base; it would seem the Imperial soldiers don't plan on making an appearance yet, even to their 'allies'. The airfields were left usable and capable, each one with a simple message on the desk.

I hope this is suitable. I apologize for the look of it all, but you can't expect much from us in such times. As for now look to the shadows for us, but for security reasons I cant afford to have my troopers linger around these bases... Not until I know where trust can be properly placed.

Many of the populated areas are the ones hit. The rest of the areas are smaller villages amongst the trees and outlying towns. The country as a whole has more pure nature than cities right now.))

As the bombs and missiles flew the sound of whistling could be subtly heard over the furious sounds of war. Soon the whistles grew louder as the ground began to erupt in flaming explosions -- It was a mortar barrage. After three sets of explosions the men appeared from the forests.

The soldiers wore berets and vests with bandoleers strapped around their shirts. They all wielded M16's which they had recently acquired as a gift from another Imperial nation. The men stormed forward shooting and causing a large ruckus as the mortars kicked up again. Out of the forests four covered transport trucks drove out. The men ran out and began to take crates of weapons and ammo that laid unattended while the soldiers scrambled to keep the Imperial soldiers and fighters at bay. Some soldiers ran for unmanned vehicles and with those that they could, they hot-wired them. In a swift action the surviving soldiers of this attack receded back into the forest with the vehicles that sped forth into the trees before them. As quick as they had came they were gone. With them they took supplies and vehicles and left the fighting to continue. The Imperial forces were up to something big, their plans seemed to precise and their measure of secrecy to great.

Dont forget you also have accesses to all of my weaponry, including the M-25 and Anvil.

The rebels receded to their base with the supplies they recently obtained. The head of the team opened up a vanilla colored envelope and looked at the details written. Half of the men opened the crates and dawned the uniforms of the Camgo soldiers. The suits completely covered the soldiers and make them another faceless trooper of the Camgo military. The men grabbed the Camgo weapons and went into the newly stolen vehicles. They revved up the engines and sped back towards the beach they had just raided. The soldiers stopped short of edge of the forest and got out. The men looked at each other with a simple nod as the scanned the battle scarred beach. One pointed over towards the water, "Look, sir, an unoccupied boat."

A suited soldier stepped forward and peered off at it then looked back at the troopers, he then spoke, "Well it does perfectly for the mission, but you all do know the risks of this right? It will spark a large battle to keep these invaders out, but we stand a high chance to die. Are you all ready for this mission?"

All of the soldiers nodded and began to step forward to the Camgo landing craft. The men pushed it back to the water and got on; carrying with them a small black suitcase.

The boat soon sped off towards the Cotenshire fleet that laid anchor off the coast. The ship continued its path on radio silence and under the setting sun. They arrived at the side of a Cotenshire boat with many of the sailors upon it scrambling and firing. The men quickly opened the suitcase and unloaded its precious cargo, C4. With quick hands the men put the C4 on the side of the ship hull and had the timer set. After it was set the craft quickly sped off with the disguised soldiers firing back at the Cotenshire forces. The boat flew off into the distance with its fleeing soldiers content with a mission accomplished. It mattered not if the ship's crew got the explosives off the ship in time or not, the crew had laid the bomb and showed a 'Camgo attack' on Cotenshire. The men would choose death before capture and continued their path in hopes that the Cotenshire forces would not organize fast enough to catch them.

As the Camgo forces interrogate more and more citizens of Allustrius someone finally breaks. A woman broke down in tears at the abrasive tactics of the men and told them what she knew. The information she gave was sufficient enough to pinpoint the location of the Allustius Imperial Force's small air base. They were informed its general location, but not specifics, but being an air force base, though small, it would be more easier found. The base laid north past Mount Veresta and deep within the forest.

At this point in time, the Army Corps had arrived. They were in The 1.13 Naval Task force, consisting of:
2x X-19 Class
2x Atlantis Hyper Carrier
15x Econ Class
10x Leon Class
8x Ion Class
6x Heg Class
4x Petsin Class
10x Squid Class
12x Shark Class
15x Octopus class
2x Freedom Class

They carried their standard load out, which included chemical and nuclear weapons.
Also, the Airborne Corps had secured the field, and set up defensive operations. Once a division arrived to relive them, they would go fight.

(OOC: I don't think you would be able to pull off this trick. The carrier is in the middle of a bunch of other support vessels, as it is dumb for a capital ship to be floating by itself or else it would be vulnerable to attacks such as this one. You might be able to try this on a smaller ship near the outside of the fleet, but in that case you will probably get sunk before you get close enough to attach the C4. Also, even though it wasn't specifically implied in any of the posts, I just want to make sure that everyone knows that my fleet and the area where my helicopters are flying is not near the area where Camgo’s forces are.)

The Helicopters continued their search for people who looked like they lived here in the Crimson Forest. They found a town and landed in it, hoping to find someone who knew about one of the local militant groups.

Now, the Airborne Division got it's first mission. Cotenshire forces were roaming around, trying to find the dispositions of the rebel forces. The Division loaded into their Humvees, and began their route to the enemy forces. They were supported by a battalion of Howler tanks, in addition to their organic LBT's. Also, they had air support available, in addition to twenty four Vipers.

((The post said A ship, not the capital ship. They'd not be so daft to take on a huge ship itself. They would be heading for a small ship all itself, not a large ship. Their intent is not to destroy but show the intent of destroying it. I never implied the fleet would be near it, but they could recognize the uniforms of soldiers. If your forces saw the Camgo force or not it wouldn't matter for they would in due time, by this point they'd already know of one attempt on them. Also if they die on the way to it they could see an attempt to sink one of their ships. So as said again, the intent isn't destroying anything, but an image of. Jesse is, after all, only trying to incite battle between Cotenshire and Camgo. I only wonder where you got the idea that it was your carrier? It said "Of a" not "Of the xxxx". Also People's freedom, Jesse wouldn't of ordered any attack onto cotenshire, the disguise bombing attempt was a top secret mission of theirs.))

The town was filled with quiet whispers and zipped lips; it would seem no one wants to speak about the issue. A small boy of the town lets slip that he once saw a military truck driving in the forest heading towards Mount Veresta. Despite anymore pressure or questioning the citizens gave no more information; it would easily be speculated most don't know much about the military outside of the fort that was bombed.

OCC: I never posted that I have them in the air, but it is standard doctrine for my forces to have CAP. I have CAP in every RP I play.

The lead pilot was very suprised at the wall of flak heading his way. Flak hadn't been used since world war two. He simply ordered his flyers to fly over it. He prepared to fire bombs, hoping no other enemy's would attack him. The 2,000 pound, High-Explosive, Armor Piercing bombs would easily be enough to knock down a carrier.

((Actually they aren't engaging but scouting in civilian helicopters. I mean, it is quite possible for your country to attack the Cotenshire navy for it being anchored outside of his country in a near menacing way, but so far its just a scouting mission and I would bet they are disguised as civilians. Jesse is only trying to incite Cotenshire to fight the Comga forces since Jesse is vastly outnumbered and can't afford to buy each ally when he could use some strategy to get an alliance of "An enemy of my enemy is a friend"))

Jesse stood staring at battle maps and drawing circles and lines all over a transparent piece of paper. Plans were being drawn and strategies made; Jesse had received no word yet from his special mission against the anchored force outside his country, but this was the last thing on his mind. The enemy was causing far more damage than he had thought and many lives were in the balance. For though his forces began to grow by the upset citizens who wished the new invades gone, he could not help but feel a deep remorse for the foreign plight upon his people. He had devised a plan to follow through with, but he would need the aid of his new ally of convenience. He sent out a message to the leader of his ally and sent them an encrypted message.

We the forces of Allustrius are greatly saddened by the destruction these foreign devils have laid upon us. For this very reason we ask you for a help in a joint operation. The Comga have set up many bases along the port cities they devastated and we need to pay them back for the blood they spilled. We plan to raid one of their main motor pools for the area and we need your forces to lend us air support and help the imperial troopers in the assault. I will station 500 of my men in the port city of Laulon. When the 0200 comes around my men will move out of the city and towards their base. It is at this time we need you to have a force stationed to the north of their base. We hope to catch them off guard and pincer them. It is of utmost importance that you try to limit the damage to the vehicles -- any unmanned vehicles should be left untargeted. We wish to return the favor of the attack Comga laid upon us and get a good deal of vehicles to help our cause in the process.

The encrypted message was received aboard the flagship of TPF's fleet. They wanted air support and troops.

They quickly sent a message back:
A platoon of Rangers would be provided.
In addition, 24 F-29's and 4 Specter Gunships would aid.

One of the soldiers puffed on a cigarette and looked around at the other troopers in the building. He tossed the cigarette to the ground and stepped on it, he then spoke up. "So can we even trust these guys to come? I'd rather not be a lamb to slaughter."

A soldier sat up and adjusted his beret. His outfit was fancier than the others and his equipment more refined, he walked over to the door and turned around and replied, "Well trust or not, we have our orders. We strike this facility and take their vehicles. With a large enough armored division we can repel them and pick 'em off."

Another soldier laughed to himself then spoke up, "Sir, I severely doubt a few vehicles can pick of a huge force of a million strong if not more."

The second soldier replied as he opened the door, "Big forces are just bigger targets that can't fend off a scalpel. Have trust in our Emperor, I do. These vehicles aren't the end all, but they will help. Our leader is cooking something up, be assured of that. For now... MOVE OUT!"

At that the soldiers rushed out the door. Whilst this platoon ran out many others began to run out and hop into technicals. The forces and vehicles sped off at 0200 (02:00 AM) and began their approach on the base.

They arrived on their side of the base and began by having their snipers take out the troopers manning the spotlights. After a few shots they rushed in for they knew that by now the base would try to scramble for high alert. The guns blazed and wheels turned as the Imperial forces swept towards the base. Each soldier looked to the night and dark ocean hoping to see the flickering lights of their allied support.

The attack began, as soon as it began, 40 Rangers para dropped from 10,000 feet. Then, the Gunships opendend up, sending millions of .50 bullets down at targets. The 155mmm cannons even opendend fire, demolishing the enemy barracks. The bullets came down so fast that all you could see were tracers, at 500,000 rounds a minute, they were insane. The gunship had enough ammo for 20 minutes of fire. They poured, like a dragon's flame.

The Imperial forces looked up for a moment in awe at the display of firepower on this base. A soldier quickly jumped to prone as a few gunshots came his way. He yelled to the others over the noise. "This is bloody crazy!"

The others all jumped to cover and held their berets down and some plugged their ears. The same fancy dressed soldier as before yelled at all the soldiers in the area he could, "I know! So we can't stay to fight, they'll do that for us. Get those vehicles, plant those explosives, and lets get the hell out of here!."

The soldiers rushed in and ran to the many unmanned vehicles scattered around the base. The specialized soldiers all began to attempt to hijack the vehicles as the others stood guard and fought off the enemy. Soldiers of both sides began dropping in the huge firefight that ensued. The troopers rendezvoused with the Rangers and began to fight off the forces as best they could while avoiding imminent death from the hellfire of bullets above. After a short while the fancy dressed officer yelled to the Ranger Captain over the loud noise, "Look we're done if we stay here, put down a smoke grenade and cover the retreat. Also place a bomber signifier for the F-29's to come in and drop their payloads or at least missile whats left of the base if they have S.A.S. missiles."
