[PYATTN=Pay Attention, which means you might want to look at this, but you don't necessarily have to post.]
Five years ago, the Drow noticed that their visitors had dramatically decreased in their frequency. Their city's economy began to decay, and the tensions were seen in an increase of inter-House battles. Life was getting tense in the mighty Drow city of Sch'Naggio, which was the perfect opportunity for House Melith to begin its political moves against its opponents and gaining favor with their Goddess. They began to pray to the Spider Queen more frequently, hoping that some light on the subject would come so they would feel less hopeless in their daily life struggles.

To their horror, they received no reply from the Goddess. Not a single spell could be cast from the Priestesses' fingertips, nor could any summon reach Lloth or her servants, the Yolchlols. It seemed that Sch'Naggio would suffer the same fate as their once-sister city, Llurth Drieir. The inhabitants of Sch'Naggio began to panic, but the quick thinking of Hatchavin and Vasryn Melith saved the city from riots and uproars. They organized a raid on the surface world and destroy their hated enemies, the surface Elves. THey did not know they would meet their fate on that raid. Twenty Drow wandered into a bar on the Waterfront, fully armed, and all but one were killed int the fight against the heavily armed inhabitants. The introduction of the gun to Drow society changed everything, and House Melith staged a coup, and that, in turn, changed the Drow government. Officially recognized by several nations, including its host nation, the Drow left their caves in the mountains south of the Waterfront city to the rainforest and the islands off the coast, eventually spreading to nearby continents. These colonies had cities that prospered from trade and military and other services, particularly the slave trade. The Drow Monarchy's regime prospered, but it was hindered. It was held back by the border restriction of existing a mile underneath another nation. It was time for something new, they decided. Time to claim a nation as their own, to become a power, to become known for more than the genocide they committed in International Lesbians.

Cashiek was once a prominent voice in the United Nations, although it was small. Its was geographically large, but sparsely populated. A self-appointed Monarchy acted as the official recognized government, but when it came to internal affairs, tribes determined the true courses of action. Cashiek's Monarchy government simply ceased to exist after no Heir could be named to the throne, and the official government of Cashiek was dissolved. Cashiek was now just a potentially profitable hunk of land. Off the coast, Drow colonists ran some of the tribes secretly in hopes of establishing settlements there. The governmental collapse-While not anticipated-was gladly accepted as opportunity for the Drow as callings for a new home came from all corners of the city and the colonies. So a plan was devised to invade Cashiek and conquer the tribes and establish cities there, and allow the old city to become Waterfront property and the small nuclear reactor within it to be used for whatever purposes they wanted. They were grateful for the help and kindness that they had shown them in their time of need, but they had simply outgrown their own city.

Cashiek-A city with fewer than 6 million people yet larger than Kazakhstan. For the Drow, it was perfect. The world would learn the name of the black-skinned Drow Elves for what they really were-Conquerors, warriors, scientists, artists, and faithfuls.

[If someone so wishes, ONE person may put their eyes on Cashiek, as well, and you can be my rival. I'll set no rules for you except that you can't push me out of Cashiek, nor can you kill any of my important character unless I specify otherwise, and I'll accept non-contradictory rules that you set down, as well, but do it over TGs. After the onvasion goes public, I'll be more open about this.

Background-Cashiek was my UN puppet for a while, but I neglected it, and I want to start on NS again. So I'm bringing my nation out of Aeson's puppet nation and into Cashiek, although I will retain colonies outside of Cashiek and outside of Waterfront, and a few Drow will stay behind there that Aeson can use as he pleases. Note that while I am using Fantasy creatures, all my technology is Modern Tech, and I don't use magic or shit like that. The most I use are giant friggin spiders with forearms like swords, and only with the permission of the other RPers, so don't discriminate against me for that.]

The first of the colonists took two weeks to arrive at the offshore colonies, little islands inhabited by Drow that run a tourism industry. The island rightfully belong to Cashiek and other local powers, but it's an obscure little region that nobody particularly gives a damn about. More preparations were made, and over twenty thousand Drow Elves landed on the coast of Cashiek. Of course, there were curious onlookers, but any that got close were either killed or captured, others simply disappeared, and a Sword Spider would come back with a filled belly. As the Drow descended upon the first fishing villages, the first atrocities of the colonization began. Despite the bright sun which stung their eyes an skin, the well-sunscreened Drow Elves enslaved and destroyed many of the villages, adding their things to their own, including the fish that were caught by the villagers. It was soon discovered that Cashiek was fruitful with fish, and that would become a valuable asset in the future. The oppertunity on Cashiek was endless.

The worries and pains of the Drow were to be relieved. The alliance the Drow nation joined called EVIL has pledged to give the Drow naval support as they land forces and colonists on Cashiek. The Drow are well aware of do-gooders and imperialists disguising themselves as do-gooders in this world, and the Drow have no intention on giving up their prize to a humanitarian nation or a rival imperialist nation with its eyes on the fertile, oil, mineral and uranium-rich Cashiek, or by allowing the Drow people to become enslaved, as well. Of course, Drow do not make good slaves, as, when children, they are whipped as soon as they can walk and talk anyway when they are defiant, and tortures and enslavements do little on them.

Londinian High Command, 1300 hrs.

"How long will it take to reach Cashiek?"
"Forty eight hours."
"Good. Deploy the fleet."

Task Force Drow, 1200 hrs., two days later
Five carriers, thirty destroyers, fifty frigates, and fifteen submarines began to enter the territorial waters surrounding Cashiek.

All hands, action stations. We are now leaving international waters. All hands, action stations.

With the arrival of the EVIL fleet, the Drow began the main invasion. Headed by the Drow military itself, millions of Drow Elves began to occupy the villages and construct houses. Slaves and goods were taken from the Cashiek villages, one-fourth of each being set aside for the EVIL alliance itself. Starting in the south, the Drow forged to New Sch'Naggio, which was to become the new capital of the Drow Imperium, and was one of the first areas to be settled.

The Drow Military set up several military checkpoints along major trails used by the Cashiek people, confiscating most of the goods and taking away many of the people in these caravans, strangling the Cashiek people in the north, and then began to trade with them, making the Northern Cashiekkians dependant on the Drow for goods, while moving their efforts westward and northward simultaneously. The Drow were doing this slowly, but it was a sure process to destroy the morale of the Cashiek people and to prevent any possible rebellions by them.

Task Force Drow, 1800 hrs.

Now hear this, now hear this. All aircraft are to ensure constant air superiority over Cashiek.

Four hundred and seventy fighter aircraft would fly over Cashiek in rotation, supported by dozens of AWACs and refueling tanks.

B2 Bombers would occasionally fly over densely populated native areas and carpet bomb them.

As the carpet bombs fell, entire cities were demolished, displacing millions of natives, and many began to flee northward to the safety of Cashiek's neighbors. Acting quickly, Drow forces were placed along the borders to prevent escape and task forces were sent in to round up refugees. Unfortunately, some of the Cashiek warlords were well-armed, and began to rebel in force, gathering what refugees would join them. In response, the Drow Air Force began high-altitude stealth bombings of their fortresses, and Drow armor rolled in alongside infantry to prevent any form of unity within the Cashiekkians.

Londinian High Command

"Perhaps we shouldn't have bombed them."
"Shut the fuck up, bitch. We bomb them, no questions asked."
"Oh. Now what?"
"Fire cruise missiles at their fortresses."
"Got it."
"And put some fucking ricin in a few warheads destined to hit the warlords."
"Aye, aye."

The promised rebellions never took form as missiles and bombs destroyed their fortresses and Drow and EVIL strike teams siezed what was left, taking away their guns, artillery, and tanks, which were quickly incorporated into the Drow military or the House militias, and whoever was siezed, like others, were enslaved and one out of four were sent into slavery.

Drow forces and colonists now occupy over 87% of Cashiek, and the populace has successfully been subdued. Only a small handful of refugees has slipped away, and many of them are in international waters or in no-man's-land, where Drow Air Force and army forces are tracking them down, while a few have made it to safety in benevolent nations. The Drow have decided not to press into chasing after the refugees and has decided that the slaves gathered are enough for now. The Drow nation has been successful in colonizing Cashiek, and only uninhabitable portions remain devoid of intelligent life. Now for the long, hard part...

To the nations of EVIL, the Drow have proposed a series of construction deals with construction companies within their nations to build Drow cities and towns with the Duergar and Drow to help the process along. The Drow are looking to have fully functional and bustling cities, not basic, factory-made towns, with skyscrapers and public services, such as subways and monorails. The Capital city, however, is reserved for Drow only, as such a magnificeint subsurface city can only be entrusted to the Drow City-Artists.

Also to the nations of EVIL, the Drow have made military offers to them to build the Drow navy, which, at this time, is led by a decommissioned battleship stolen from a ship graveyard and recommissioned in one of the Drow's few functioning ports in one of its colonies, and the rest are strapped together and rather obsolete by most standards. The Drow Imperium is also looking to have its commanders formally trained in modern tactics, although many of our Air and Land generals are experienced enough, it would be good to have formal training for the commanders.

[My men are trained well enough-By Siapian mercenaries and other organizations, so they're good, but my commanders only have a basic knowledge of modern tactics, which were taken from the field. They need modern training as Officers. Note that several of these commanders are also influential politicians and a few are even of the Royal family, such as Hatchavin Melith.]
