the year is 1993 and on the Planet Bekhaera at the far end of the Milky Way Galaxy a great discovery has been made, a ring with unknown alien markings, for years scientists attempted to decipher the markings until known historian and the most reknown scholar of ancient Bekhaeran history Dr Sarah Lockhart deciphers the markings..as constellations
The year is 2000 and the Stargate Project is now ready to begin, four adresses have been discovered at the ruins and ancient texts claiming the structures were created by ancient races whose name has been long forgotten to them
And now in the year 2000 the Stargate program finally after years of unlocking the mysteries of the Stargate has decided to send their first team through the stargate to the planet named Bekukae...


July 27th 2000

"Today is a proud day for the Bekhaeran people, we hope that this experiment bodes well for the future of Bekhaera..we aim to go where none of our peoples dared even dream of...the stars..if this "experiment" goes well we may very well begin our journey into space..but thats if Doctor Lockhart is right and this "ring" is what she says it is then we may have a way of advancing our civilization and understanding of who we are, as we speak the provinces of Bekhaera eagerly await our experiment..doctor Lockahrt would you please do the honour of dialling the first destination" General Luca Degausser declared as he addressed asmall group of army, navy & air force represenattives and a number of prominent scientists and experts involved with the project

Doctor Sarah Lockhart approached the podium on which the general had just given his long winded speech

"Thank you ladies and gentlemen of the scientific and military communities and organizations of Bekhaera..today we begin the first step to what I believe is our first contatc possibly with extra terrestrial life and it does me great pleasure to be the first person in millenia if I am right to "dial up" as it were another world" and with that Lockhart began to dial in the constellations, as each constellation was dialled in the group of people gathered ecitement grew and grew until the final chevron was locked in place and then...nothing

"I dont understand why it didnt..." Sarah said just as the ring burst into life, a great blue event horizon burst towards the control room where they were situated...she was cut off mid sentence by the sudden impact that her theory was right..or at least she hoped that what was on the other end made her theory correct

General Deguasser stepped forwaad and gave ther order to send a recon droid through..the blast doors to the gate room opened and a small wheeled droid fitted with a camera entered..slowly it drove up the ramp and stopped before the gate...before heading in..several seconds later an image was beamed back to the screens set up in the control room..and before them was a great structure... a pyramid...dwarfing the ruins in Bekhaera..there was life out there

"This is amazing..an actual pyramid greater than the ruins of Khath Saetia... look at the size of it..general!" Dr Lockhart exclaimed as she swung round to meet with General Degausser's face, astonished and amazed he was at the fact Lockhart was right..there was life out there or at least proof life once existed there on a distant world

"Well dr lockhart looks as if youve got your go... Maybe this mission will bring us more understanding of ourselves but anyway meet me in the briefing room, I wnat you to meet your team leader" Degausser said as he walked away, the military chiefs and scientists all glaring at the gate before it

Briefing Room

"Colonel Faulkner welcome to the stargate facility..are you and your men ready to take on such a task" Degausser said as he shook Faulkners hand like a bear, Faulkner sat abck down, he was dressedin his military fatigues, he was the type alwasy waitng for a fight because form hsi own experience..fights seemed to travel whever he went

"General. I'm ready yeah, I've my team selected already and we await the firt mission.. hopefully of many..but I have some reservations over civilians joining this expedition, they could be a liability sir" Faulkner adressed the general and then Lockhart entered, dressed in her fatigues, she was as ready to go as they were

General Degausser looked at Faulkner and smiled, "Your worries and doubts shall be noted colonel but for know the mission and members of the mission team will remain the same, there are to be no changes, establish contact with any known life or beings that inhabit the planet..you are go ladies and gentlemen"

& with that Degausser left the room and leaving the first expedition team silent in the briefing room..when they heard the sirens go off then they knew it was time

Minutes later in the Gate room the team was assmbled, Colonel faulkner, his team members captain Jonathan Frakes, Lieutenant Daniel Carter, Captain Josef Bloom & Doctor Lockhart

"Welllll looks like were gonna make some history here today any words to say? ANyone? no? fair enough lets get on with this lil day out of ours" Faulkner sarcastically declared as they departed through the wormhole that had opened, Lockhart stared at it before she stepped forward, holding her breathe for fear of well whatever was on the other side

The wormhole winded and turned at break neck speed, but to the team it had seemed as if it wee a few seconds

"WOAH! THAT WAS AWESOME! wooo...ok guys, check the area out for any signs of life..move out" Faulkner ordered as he witnessed Lockhart dropping to the floor like a sack of potatoes

"there you go doctor, hope you aint gone and hurt yourself hehe,..enjoy the trip?" Faulkner sarcastically remarked as he picked up doctor Lockhart "do em a big favour..what is this place?"

Lockhart stare at her surroundings, they looked so familiar yet so alien to her she couldnt help but be overwhelmed by the ornate heiroglyphs and statues adorning the room they know wee in

"these heiroglyphs are similar to those of Atum's ruins on Bekhaera..strange that they should be here..." Lockhart said examining them

Faulkner checked his P90 and replied quickly before he forget what she had said to him, he wasnt a fan of jargon especially historical and scientific jargon to him it was all computer chips and dead people, "Atum..wanna explain that to me there doc..and in dumb guy terms as well thanks"

"Atum was the primal creator of a group of gods from a region in southern Bekhaera, a very powerful god but one of many the people in that region worshipped, these markings are different though, similar to the language of that ancient people but more abstract, lossely trasnlated it says "the halls of the lord creator Atum..the first of many and the bringer of life" he is the creator god..and it seems isnt exclusive to our world" Lockhart explained as she studied the glyphs, Faulkner stared at his surroundings before in the corner of his eye he saw a face.. a childs face

"what the? HEY! come back here! Lockhart theres a person around here, I'm radioing the rest of the team *this is colonel Fulkner there are people here I repeat there are people, return to the gate asap! I repeat return to the gate asap!*" Faulkner ordered as he gave chase to the mysterious being the chase led to the outside fo the temple..and in fornt of Faulkner lay a great sprawling world before him and also several hostiles with primitive weapons aimed at him

"woah..take it easy folks..were just travellers looking for something...Guys..youd better get your asses here asap and I mean it..got a situation here" Faulkner spoke into his comms syetem

A person amongst the people that were aiming the weapons raised his hand to the armed persons behind him, who quickly kneeled not in fear, but out of earned respect that showed as their eagerness quickly turned into a peaceful calm. The person who had managed to calm the people spoke to them in a strange tongue that caused them to go to stand guard at the entrance of the room so as to prevent any hostiles from coming in.

Then with that done he went forward to the group of unknown persons and looked into their eyes as if he was reading their minds to gain knowledge of their intentions, culture, and culture, Looking at them one by one for a minute he said,” Welcome, people of Earth to this world, but be warned me and this group are just people who guard the gate from the enemy. Outside of it lie many people who might bring harm to, but we will not prevent you going from out there and know that we will not aide you in open battle if comes to that.”

"Hi... um we are..um earthlings I guess, we are from Bekhaera, a planet pretty much similar to this one... and you would be?" replied Faulkner to the being, he seemed very different to the natives and then sarah emerged from the gate room...which it turns out was in fact a great pyramid greater than any other construct on Bekhaera

"This is amazing, simpy amazing, it seems were on a planet named Bekukae... basically an ancient derivatave of Bekhaera..its as if this planet were stuck some 5000 years in the past..this is amazing" she spoke as if she had discovered the find of the century, millenia evenand to her it was and then she saw him, the leader of the natives and she noticed something peculiar about him

"youre not one of them are you?"

"Hi... um we are..um earthlings I guess, we are from Bekhaera, a planet pretty much similar to this one... and you would be?" replied Faulkner to the being, he seemed very different to the natives and then sarah emerged from the gate room...which it turns out was in fact a great pyramid greater than any other construct on Bekhaera

"youre not one of them are you?"The person replied,” I have lived here for years beyond any of your people’s life spans, but I was not originally from this planet. My true people though you have no records of because they have not visited your world in years enough to be considered long even for us. Yet, I diverge and to answer your curiosity these people are not from this world, but come from yours yet I will not tell you as you must witness them for yourself to understand them and what have become of them, this will also give you insight of how your people once lived.”

"you wnat us to stay here..with them.. hate to break it to you but were on a deadline and well..orders are orders" faulkner said as he looked at the natives, they barely looked as if they could make the wheel
but yet he felt strangel compelled to stay her

"colonel our mission is to learn more about this world and so thats what we must do..hello I'm Sarah Lockhart, doctor Sarah Lockhart nice to meet you" sarah glefully said as she reached out her hand o great their "host" of sorts, "what lies off in the distance then, you spoke of an evil?"

The being laughed and then said,” You look at these people as they are under developed, when your own people in comparison to many others are the same. Yet, I apologize and as for what I said the people who dwell over there serve beings that enslave them and use their bodies as hosts against their will, but if you wish to see them for yourself I shall go with you and leave my followers here.”

"use them as hosts? what do you mean exactly? and do these bad guys have a name? sorry for the questions its just when youre in a new place you tend to be a bit inqusitive, like a child ya kno" Faulkner remarked to the leader as he stared around.."well we need a guide, if you didnt guess were kinda the new guys on the block"

Sarah looked around and attempted to speak to the natives, she realised the dialect was if the same region the ancient ruins of Atum were found

"I recognise the language..just..*whos does this temple belong to?*" Sarah asked in the alien language, the native lookd at her and spoke back to her in his language

"Atum..lord atum reigsn this planet and this is his temple in which the chappa'ai, the ring of the gods, and Atum will return soon through it..he will return with more gods and they will take more of our people to serve them"

The being that had greeted the group signaled for the group that had followed him to disperse as this would be a dangerous mission indeed. With that they all jogged out of the temple and returned to their respective villages.

Then the being said,” Well, we should head out now the parasite that commands this people and his slave warriors shall soon return and we should flee while we have the chance to.”

"If you know where we must go then take us there... we have to make contact with all the people of this world y'know...standing orders and all..and whats this about a parasite..does the bug have a name or is it just caleld parasite?" Faulkner asked of his mysterious new friend as he, Lockhart and the remaining team members returned

"Ah colonel, this temple is amazing, this whole civilization so far is amazing, its exactly like how I imagined it would be" Sarah replied still awestruck before Faulkner looked at their new "friend"

"How do I knwo youre not one of those parasites guys and whats your name anyway"
