The Vineyard guard teams had gotten thier orders, thier first delivery was to be made to to the Emperor of Katchbach(sp). With the wine bottle being crated they had time to begin thier checklists.
" Hey Arnold, they said that the gel should be ready in about 1 hour" said one of the vineyards workers as he gave the guards leader thier shipment manifest. It was full of codes and misdirections, you had to be a great code cracker to deciper what this manifest said.
The leader looked it over and gave it back to the worker and told him to place it on to his seat in the convoy. The worker nodded and went to the convoy and found the guards leaders seat and placed it down. After the pre-leave checklist was done the crates where brought out to the convoy, one crate to each of the APCs used to deliver the wine, a grand toatl of seven crates.
" Here you go, this is the shipment pass given to us for the delivery, you should be able to driove right on up." said Alexis as he handed the boarder pass to the guards leader Arnold.
" Thanks, Are you sure that the delivery has not been discovered? I would be a same to have an open gunfight in the streets in theives try to assult to convoy." said Armold as he placed his helmet on his oddly shaped squarish head.
" I am fairly comfident that no one will make a run for the wine, if it is being escorted by the convoy. Try and relax, just keep you eyes and ears open and you'll be fine" said Alexis as he turned and walked away back into his office in the bottom of the vineyard. Arnold could not believe that wine could be worth so much, that people would attack convoys to get it.
Arnold turned around and gave a barkish sounding order
" Guardians, to your stations!"
The Guards; or Guardians as the Vineyard dubbed them; ran like a sight of buzzing bees, getting into thier places and where set to get moving. Arnold sat in his seat and lite up a cigar, and said
" We had better get to our location before my cigar is finished! "
After his challenge was set, the convoy started to move.....
