The Mediterranean Sea
Off the coast of Doomanum-Italy
06:35 AM...

Admiral Heino Ecke, after receiving an order directly from the Reichskanzler, had positioned the 1st and 2nd Reichsmarine Fleets off the territorial waters of Doomingsland in the Mediterranean. While the majority of the 1st Fleet and all of the 2nd Fleet was positioned around Apulia, Abruzzo, and Molise, roughly 1/3 of the 1st Fleet was stationed off the coast of Emilia-Romagna. The purpose of this move had not yet been clearly established to anyone outside of Fourth Reich High Command, but to anyone else it looked very suspicious and threatening.

The 1st and 2nd Reichsmarine Fleets had been given strict orders not to fire unless fired upon first. At least, that was their current stance. All of that could change with one phone call from the Reichskanzler.

Algeria
Along the border with Doomanum-Algeria
06:35 AM...

Generalfeldmarschall Heinz Guderian had been ordered to move the 1st and 2nd Afrikakorps in position along the border Doomanum in Algeria. A total of over 500.000 combat-ready soldiers, six Luftwaffe Divisions, and over 12.000 tanks, armored vehicles, and artillery pieces were in strike position. As with the 1st and 2nd Fleets, they were given strict orders not to fire unless fired upon.

Why there had been such a massive and sudden build-up along Doomanum borders without warning was something only Fourth Reich High Command knew, but it was sure to bring attention from nations in Africa as well as Europe, and possibly Asia.

North of Algeria, the 3rd Reichsmarine Fleet under command of Admiral Otto Speer, had moved itself into a position where Doomanum's Algerian ports could easily be hit with a massive bombardment from an arsenal of sea-based weaponry.

Now, everyone was just waiting on the Reichskanzler to speak...

We would like to invite the parties involved in the conflict to a conference in Rome in hopes of finding a diplomatic solution to the crisis. Our nations have had great relations thus far and we hope that we can overcome this latest hurdle.
