Hello all,
Both my thread ideas went down the drain even though they were imaginative and interesting, the plot starts out good then it goes downhill...what am I doing wrong?

Excuse the lack of posts; new country.
Anyway, a good idea is to have a storyline, or at least rough idea where you want the thread to go, before posting. Too many times I've seen good plots die because even though they were creative, they had no room to expand, the other posters were confused or unsure, or it simply stalled. Plan things out with a friend or two and present openings for other countries but allow yourself to roleplay with your friends as well if no one else decides to join. Don't feel left out or anything, and be sure to participate in other RPs to gain both trust and experience, and allies (and enemies) along the way.

Ok I'll try that.

I tend to have rps that are TGed out somewhat in advance and along the way, as long as the participating rpers are around. Even so, sometimes it comes down to be willing to do one or two posts a day, instead of twenty a day or such, to have a good plot develop out.
Course sometimes you just need an rper you dont even TG with, and just rp it out along 'that' was as well. The overall thing is to not give up, and keep plying your plot objectives along the way. Fun and all till the end. =^^=

I'd say the two keys are:
1) Focus on writing and story, not worthless competition.
2) Not dominating, leaving something to others.
BTW, any ideas (from anyone) on why this thread stalled?

Or, maybe, anyone would be interested in keeping this up? It looks promising and very open, just needs a bit of involvement.

Be open to suggestions. Make the story open for exploration. A good story is key. You need to have good backround info, good characters, and something that will give everyone a chance to participate. Offer a wide range of characters and such.

Having trouble with rps? Can't seem to perform well? Do you have trouble lasting long enough to give all those involved the gratification they want? Is your rping life lacking in something? Well, with HardX 500 the new rp pill you'll rp's will last longer and be fuller. Giving everyone involved the rping time of their lives :p

I find, that my Rp's die because I have a very tiring job and often I only find the energy to post when I feel up to it, if I've had a long day, then I tend not to post...
Find someone who will roleplay with you and talk it through with the other person, hammer out the details, and remember that its just a game, it will be more entertaining to read if its very cinematic, with lots of depth and description...
I tend to think of a storyline that is down right evil, and nasty, and then I just find a victim and run with it, I discuss it with them and with their concent I carry out my nefarious plans....
