I had a smilar OOC thread but tbh it wasn't going anywhere so i decided to redo it and also in the process "reset" and begin my nations history all over again as I wanted to make it better :]

The story for my thread is as follows;

the year is 1993 and on the Planet Bekhaera at the far end of the Milky Way Galaxy a great discovery has been made, a ring with unknown alien markings, for years scientists attempted to decipher the markings until known historian and the most reknown scholar of ancient Bekhaeran history Dr Alexander Khath deciphers the markings..as constellations

The year is 2000 and the Stargate Project is now ready to begin, four adresses have been discovered at the ruins and ancient texts claiming the structures were created by ancient races whose name has been long forgotten to them

And now in the year 2000 the Stargate program finally after years of unlocking the mysteries of the Stargate has decided to send their first team through the stargate to the planet named Bekukae...

Let's see, I've got a semi-comedic System Lord puppet, with jaffa that are as monumentally intept as those in the show. And an Orii puppet (which I'm keen to RP with some time) - and I'm quite fond of the Wraith too.

My main nation (or rather, part of its extended twinned state) has a stargate too, for that matter. On Earth, no less. Might have some replicators hanging around there too, given that a nation called human-replicators showed up in my region and promptly timed out... mmm, Replicarter, but if they still exist, they're probably naturalized.

So, if you want an Opposing-Force player, I'm up for it.

Lord Atum (http://www.nationstates.net/Lord%20Atum), one of the primal Egyptian creator gods, is the actual System Lord, and has proclaimed himself to be the only god, something which offends his underlings greatly. He's essentially a slightly less evil copy of Anubis (someone already killed him once, see), for the purpouses of this, I'm envisioning some lesser, disaffected minions of his being the main protagonists, at least at first.

How would you feel about my Eternals making a few appearances as race of beings that are older then the stars humans view in space at the edge of all.

Simple. He says that they should overthrow the System Lords and install a communist regime. Fairly popular stuff with dirt poor Jafa troops.

weaknesses: not a natural fighter and is not adept to fighting and sutvival techniques, a weak link strength wise

Well, there only weakness is that there are not enough of them to manage against all evils they encounter once, but that also means they use armies composed nearly entirely of mortal beings that serve them willing, even though they are warriors with few equals due to the Eternals give them power immune systems, long life spans, and training in the ways of the Eternals.

sounds good, they need people to fight for them to spread their message and beliefs of harmony etc but find themselves fightingever growing evil which would consume them but they hold strong because of those who willingly choose to serve in the name of good or am I way off the mark?

Well, kind of near the mark with that, but in reality they spread their message by means of their word and never force capitulation of a people who are in essence a good people, but they do wage war in order to destroy evil and have even destroyed entire races that were inherently evil as those peoples enslaved others. Yet, in general they remain on their worlds governing their people in places as what their people make of them.

I understand now :) hopefully this thread will be succesful, I just need 2 more people to be part of my team

I am planning on him to reveal himself to be an Eternal latter in the rp as part of a twist. Yet, as for the memory I have done some theorizing, but I think it would be better to for him to retain his memory and acts as a kind of translator and cultural advisor for the group as well as being a skilled soldiers of great power.

well when i write my story up and my team and two randoms i make up, expendables :) enter the gate and pass through into bekukae and there i can have them cconfronted by scared natives or w.e.

Since human worlds are going to spread across the galaxy. I was thinking could my Totalitarian Military Union of Xharn be a small five star system wide government.

The Union’s technology would most likely be akin to the Aschen. The Union is not like the confederation. It does not slowly integrate subjects into their empire and quickly sterilize rival peoples population. They wipe out entire populations worlds with biogenic weapons and take over once the "cleansing" is complete.
