Today, Molov Dreamcatcher, a former UN worker, founded the Nomadic Peoples of the Refuges. The entire population is either composed of homeless citizens affected by war or poverty, or the workers that help them. The Refuges intend to take in starving, injured, and sick civilans from war torn countries and care for them, permanatly or until their home nations are liveable again. The refugees won't have to pay a cent towards the government. Its all from donations, and the nation is maintained by ordinary people who give their valuable time, and large cooperations willing to give money

If your country is a war torn land with citizens that are starving, post here, we may be able to take some
If your a rich country or a large wealthy cooperation, we need your assistance as well with monitary funds
Any food, water, or medical supplies you can hand over will be greatly appreciated

IC: Theocratic Revolt applauds this philosophy, and is willing to donate five million dollars towards this cause. We will donate more as our economy expands to allow us.

A group of private citizens in Errikland have gathered together $5 million marks, which was matched by Weapson. The total $10 million marks, or $20 million dollars, are donated to your foundation.

We greatly appricate these donations 99 cents of every dollar goes to helping refugees. The other 1 cent goes to advertising, just so we can get more 99 cents. It all works out in the end.

A general would enter Der Fuhrer's Reichstag office, giving him a quick straight armed salute, "HEIL DER FUHRER!," and then would approach Der Fuhrer's desk: "Fuhrer, apparently, zere ist ein new nation of nozing but refugees."

Der Fuhrer would stare blankly at the general, and then would shake his head. "That sounds like a ZOG conspiracy. So zey are refugees? Then send zem some aid. Mwahahaha."

One day after the general's meeting with Der Fuhrer, NAZI soldiers would run around various parts of the Reich, getting small baskets of bread and the like, hustling hither and thither.

A few hours later (from the previous IC post), hundreds of missile projected conventional warheads (non nuclear, non biological) would begin to fall down over various parts of the Refugee land. As the missiles would fall, so too would baskets of little pieces of stale and mold ridden bread fall from from the sky from the missiles, probably pelting anyone standing outside.

In other words you will not change their refugee status. It is traditional for countries to accept foreigners into their countries to take lower paying jobs which are needed to be filled in an economy that is often lacking certain types of labor. We find this disturbing. We believe in uplifting the human condition through labor and education.

In addition we would be willing to test some of the refugees claiming advanced degrees for equivalency in our own economy. Many people are simply in the wrong place at the wrong time and can offer much to an advanced booming economy like our own. We need doctors, truck drivers, engineers, and these would be a normal part of most countries if their economies and social situation had not collapsed.

If not we will offer them a chance to start small businesses through social guarantee of at least 20 signatories for a microloan.

Creating a cycle of poverty through donations is not the answer to helping people who have lost everything. Pure welfare donations are temporary in nature. We would like to offer permanent solutions.

We are willing to also provide facilities to start community gardens in the refugee camps to help provide some extra food.

I, The Beloved Father of The Nation, Hordeleader Tamujid, am pleased with the idea of this silly little nation that takes people from some countries, money from others, and produces nothing. They're clever and interresting, and I will not allow anyone to bully them as long as it's easy for me to prevent it. So I hereby declare:

Should any nation use any form of violence against the refugee nation without the straight, clear and unmistakable provocation by the mentioned country, would the offensive nation HAVE TO CONSIDER ITSELF TO BE IN WAR WITH MADNESTAN.

It would appear that we have an enemy besides the Refuge. The land that the nation holds is precious to us, as we have a population crisis on our hands. The House of Lords and the House of Commons have discussed it for a time, and agree that the best military way to take the land is to have multiple terrorist style "attacks" against our nations. Of course if the Refuge lets me buy the land, I will sell half of it to your nation.

The Democratic Republic of Hamilay applauds the ideals of the Refuge in providing a home for refugees. As a show of our good faith, and as we are highly amused by the antics of British Londinium, 10 billion dollars in aid is being sent. We also pledge to defend The Refuge against any foreign invasion by British hordes. Several Hamilayan companies have expressed their interest in investing in this location; we understand that you do not wish to put the refugees to work, but these companies require semi-skilled labour to produce machinery and aerospace, etcetera, unlike textiles, and the refugees will be well paid and learn a valuable trade. We hope you will reconsider on this matter, but we understand if you will not.

OOC: Just for all involved participants to know, I don't really know if I have, OOC:ly, time to fight a war against you guys. However, as you know, IC I could quite single-handedly beat both Brit-countries and the Fourth Reich on my own. Now, with Hamilay (who could quite possibly do the same) on my side, British Londinium, Nova Britannica and Fourth Reich - should he join - would get their asses handed to them in five minutes and couple of posts.

Okay, with no military to speek of, every single refugee and worker was killed by war, BTW, The Refuge is just a tiny island, hardly any land to divide up.

IC:

The Nova Brittonian navy, which happened to be in the region, claimed the island of Refuge as Nova Brittonian land. They began fortifying the island, and rebuilding the City of Refuge. They city, rising from the ashes, was to be called Conventus. Conventus is Latin for Union. The city was to be a city owned by both the Empire of British Londinium, and Nova Brittanica. A telegram told the British Londinians about the construction of the new city, to serve as a diplomatic front for the two Empires.
