This is the OOC planning thread for the upcoming skirmish between Nova Aquaria any myself.

Here is the reference thread as to how this got started.

Here is the current situation:
1. My fleet is approaching Nova Aquaria. Most everyone seems to think I was bluffing when I said I would take the Empressa by force. With the exception of a small contingent of special forces sent by Granate to protect the Empressa, nobody else has really reacted in a military sense. I expect people will want to help Nova Aquaria once they realize what is going on, but I have a head start getting there.
2. Scandivans' suitor was selected. His king is on his way towards Nova Aquaria in a private yacht loaded with loot with no military ship as escort.

The rules of the thread:
1. The thread will be closed. This isn't so much to keep people from helping one side or the other. It is mainly to keep random people from coming and going, and to keep known thread killers out.
2. No nukes.
3. I have agreed to accept attacks on my homeland in retaliation for whatever I do. If something like that happens, it will also be a closed thread with the same rules. Be forewarned, there is already a war going on in my homeland, so it will be chaotic.

You cannot assume that I would not take precautions to protect a member of the Imperial family or the strength of the private yacht. As well, I would not mind if you attempted to capture him, but his escape on a private helicopter, but if you actually kidnap or kill him let us say their will be a ‘stampeded’ of rage in my nation.

Emperor Nero: You can ask for assistance from 2 or so of your allies, it just wouldn't be fair; you're already being invaded, and our combined force is quite larger. So you may have a few allies of your own, if you wish.

Knowing that I was threatening Nova Aquaria, that would have been the post to mention any additional ships you were sending. I get the feeling you thought my upstart nation wouldn't dare mess with you. Real life nations make that same mistake.

Anyway, I am not trying to kill your king, and if I should manage to capture him, you would most likely get him back quickly. If I get my hands on him, I am planning to offer him to you in exchange for a non-agression pact.

What I am saying is you can have all the money on the ship, but the king is able to escape while the small craft around the ship keep it protected fro at most three minutes, I admit a battleship would tear through them and since you are not trying to kill the King I believe you will not when you first see the yacht shot at it. So feel free to attack it, but the King escapes.

By the way he is the King of the Scandinvans, only one of a subject kingdom of the Empire. The Emperor in Valgard rules all as basically as a autocrat in all save in name, and he is sealed tight in Valgard with legions of guards and a heavy system of ground fortifications and anti-air weaponry abound.

Granate I think that we if there is an attack we should go to the GIA with this as a multiple members are being attack with in this thread if it go through.

I just noticed Nova Aquaria is hosting a ball in their capital for world leaders. Muahahahaha

Anyway, I'll have to think about this. If Scandivans doesn't want their king captured under any circumstances that puts a big kink in my plan.

It is more of a culturally thing since if he was near a certain capture he would fight to death, order a guard to kill him, or would kill himself, despite his strong Catholic faith. This is due to the proud warrior culture that surrounds the ancient warlike Valgardian nobility. As well, if you captured him in a dishonorable fight it would be considered a cowardly terrorist and only incite the anger of the Empire and would not be a wise bargaining chip as my military is known for being brutal when they see the enemy as a one without honor and not afraid to kill civilians.

Don't kill him Scandinavians, I think a logical thing to do would escape aboard a helicopter, and order the fleet to self destruct (via bomb), annihilating Nero's fleet. This will be a relatively short war, we are 40 times + the size of Nero, should his allies not get involved. Nero you're on the ball's (hehe) ban list. Why? You're invading me!

I offer my full support to Nova Aquaria.

I won't be using allies for the first part of this operation. If and when my nation gets invaded, I may accept help then if really large armies are sent to my territory.

British Londinium is welcome. Clandonia Prime I could live without. The Scandinvans' participation is still open to debate.

My whole interest in this is to have the opportunity to capture the Empressa and perhaps some other important people. I am willing to accept harsh repurcussions. At the bear minimum, I want a fair shot at the Empressa and Scandinvans' suitor. If Scandinvans doesn't want their suitor captured under any circumstances, I can live with that provided their participation is limited to defending Nova Aquaria.

Make the IC post but don't capture the prince quite yet. Just start the invasion, capture him later if Scandinvan approves.

Since he would have an immediate advantage in troop numbers, expect my first couple of IC posts to invlolve my Spec Ops, while I moblize my Military. I do keep quite a large army, and Navy. Including 13 Super Dreadnaughts, and a myriad of Cruiser, Battleships, and Carriers. Don't expect alot of that though. Oil's expensive.

Also, you keep acting like he would not come without protection I said he was coming in a large yacht, but never anywhere do I say he comes without protection. Also, if you attack the ship it is quite as likely he will have enough time to escape and assuming you want him alive you will not shot down the helicopter.

If you don't want to play ball, that is fine. This was just an idea that I thought would be interesting. I'll get in on the war with Blackhelm instead.

Actually, I offered for him to use the soldiers as a means of rebuilding the country and the money to as a means for after the war, but I have noticed that the forces he using is from my own and the money so I do not care if you disregard those forces as I was putting it forward for after the conflict began or till its end. You have gotten about sixty billion dollars from my King already as part of the wedding gift from the Imperial family to your nation. By the way the money you can use the 585 billion now, but do not take it into account in the war.

Okay. How about, for the first few days of the war, I will not use my true military size, then numbers are restored?
