My Greeting.....

Keebland

Hello to all. I have been out of gaming for a while now but I have returned. My original intents were the destruction of the UN, and replacing it with something a little more useful, such as a Galactic Council. I of course need support. Rally to me! I have my old large fleets standing by, but as I said, I'm out of the times.

Kill it with fire? If you are ignorant enough to challenge me then here are the rules. After I kill your pathetic little armies, you must join my cause. I don't think I need to point out that my armies along greatly outnumber your nations population! Not to mention my fleets. By fleets I don't mean naval. I role play in space battles Jr.

For those nations who are interested in joining me, let me know. I will give you the password to my region. If you are stupid enough to challenge me, then so be it. For now I will be logging out. Don't worry, I'll be back.

OOC:
I don't like RPing the destruction of the United Nations. Seeing as it is a part of the game mechanics and you can't really destroy it. I prefer to RP as trying to change the UN to something that will help the greater good of the world through voting for or against resolutions that I feel are either really stupid or just not worth it.

But i'm not gonna sit here like these two '06 nations and argue. Have fun with whatever you wish to do. I have other fish to fry anyways (ie. Blackhem Confederacy and the Corporate Alliance).

OOC:
Putting your words in []'s doesn't automatically make it OOC. You must mark it properly. This is an RP forum, almost all the time when something is made OOCly, you mark it by putting OOC in front of it. Just a lession to help you with your future in NationStates young one.

You seem very sure of yourself
Also what is the point of this thread, setting up a galatic council, saying "I'm back" or threatining people?

So? Join Date means nothing.

So? Join Date means nothing.

[OOC: Exactly. I've been around since June 2003 and I'm still a newbie. :P

Also, frequently putting text in brackets does refer to OOC; or at least, I've seen certain players do that before (such as Scandavian States). Normally, however, such text is also made smaller; like this.

To the original poster (Keebland)... FT has changed since then. Posts have become a good deal longer, and the major alliances (ESUS, GFFA, ToY, Mars etc.) have more power than ever. It's a little like MT two years ago. So I'm afraid you may encounter some resistance in your attempt to subjugate the galaxy and bring it under the rule of a council. Just some helpful advice.]

OOC:

Keebland, while applauding your intent, I'm afraid that it's clear today that the undertaking is actually way too impossible. Well, you can defeat UN by making nations quit it, but it wouldn't be easy if not to sat achievable.

And, believe it or not, not everyone's join date shows when he joined the game for the first time. Some just got bored of their nations. Some wanted to roleplay differently. Some just got nuked by an overreacting nation (which was nuked as well), and didn't consider appropriate to ignore it, but rather preferred to roleplay their nation's rebirth after quite a while, from ashes and five millions who survived in the vaults.
There are many cases.

[It does in the context of pointing out someone shouldn't be calling you 'young one'.]

OOC: You are correct that join date means nothing. The size of your nation is really the key. In my case I was unable to maintain my nation do to other events in my life. I am well aware that it is impossible to destroy the UN, it just makes for a fun campaign to get several nations formed and attack UN nations. As for calling you young one, WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?! Exactly. You're not going to do anything.

Hahaha psyco. That's so not the way to go about making your point.
