Zethathrin Industries Voice Of [ ] Units Model Updates 2.5 & 3.0

Update 2.5.

The 2.5 of update of the Voice system is concerned mainly with weapons upgrades on the Mobile Turrets.

The turret retains its minor manufacture and storage capabilities, though it is suggested that certain turrets should be adjusted to contain the majority of these functions thus making them re-supply turrets.

Improvement to functions are as follows:

- The amount of time the turret could sustain full battle speed and production has been improved through an increased resource management efficiency program. The current time at battle speed achievable by the turrets has not been deemed sufficient.
- Ammunition manufacture units are now removable, though not modifiable. This allows the user and the Voice to adjust the build of its Turrets.
- The design of the turret has been adjusted to make its profile sleeker; this makes it more aerodynamic and allows it to gain cover more easily than before. In tests this had proved to be a problem.
- We have managed to reduce the noise produced by weapons fire. Though the reduction is small as it was found that this quickly reduced the accuracy and power of the munitions. Further systems to reduce noise are being looked into and will hopefully be ready for future models.

Additional function provided in the model are as follows:

- The Turrets have been provided with a small contingent of mines, this is on a trial basis and if this proves efficacious in action we may suggest the deployment of a turret solely given over to a selection of mines if circumstances require it.
- Standard Anti-Personnel mine. Requires at most a shallow burial this directs a charge upward and casing shrapnel outwards to destroy the unit that sets it off, and incapacitate those closest. It is rigged as standard to produce a concussive blast though this can quite easily be removed it a quieter or more precise explosions is required.
- Concussive mine. This mine is also unsuitable for deep burial, when triggered it produces as blast that should render those near it unconscious. This mine is suitable when the brief requires casualties be kept to a minimum, or you wish to retain the victim alive, or preserve the environment of battle.
- EMP mine. This mine can be buried far deeper than the others in most soils, which provide little obstruction to its blast. When triggered it will send out an EMP wave with extra power produced in a cone projected upwards to ensure the destruction of even shielded electronics above.

Mine Research Projects:

The two main focuses of mine research are a mobile mine that can be deployed at any point on the battlefield and move itself to the desired location, and a burrowing mine which could, once placed move itself below defenses or to an area considered safe from mines by the enemy.

Further additions to the turrets:

- During testing the top speed of the turrets was found to be insufficient, though this has been increased it comes at a greater sacrifice to power during use, so energy management must be considered if you wish to take advantage of the extra speed.
- Bugs in the units self-destruct program that left some parts intact after destruction have been ironed out, though if you discover that any parts remain do not hesitate to report this. Of particular issue are the weapons barrels which may fail to dissolve when the self-destruct is hastened.

Update 3.0.

The 3.0 update is concerned with modifications to the Voice unit itself.

The Voice 3.0 Units stands at 6ft tall, though it has been equipped with the ability to change its height +/- 8Inches.

It posses: 2 arms of identical nature and performance and 2 legs of identical nature and performance.

Once again the speed and strength of the limbs have been improved relative to its predecessor, however the improvement is not as great as was achieved last time due to increased space limitations within the Voice.

The feet, palms, elbows and knees of the Voice have been modified with a system of micro-hooks to allow much greater purchase on any surface, as it stands the voice is able to climb virtually any surface at up to a 150 degree angle from the ground without issue. However it is currently unable to carry any great additional weight whilst doing this, and at angles great than 150 purchase is not guaranteed on some surfaces.

The daggers have been changed, and now are capable of, upon insertion, injecting a series of poisons and toxins, as well as radioactive chemicals to allow greater visibility of the victim through walls, or micro-machines that will monitor or track the subject. It should be carefully considered with toxins to include when a mission is being conducted, and Zethathrin suggests that, though not the quickest of poisons, elements should be considered first as it is less plausible that a subject could have been modified to be resistant to the damaging effect.

The camouflage skin has been upgraded to output a greater number of colors per square inch, allowing it to remain invisible while motionless from several feet away, though the system is still not advanced to a sufficient degree to ensure the unit remains invisible upon close inspection. Increased speed and accuracy of camouflage change means that the unit is now able to move and remain hidden from an inconsiderable distance, though the faster the unit moves the more likely it is to be spotted from further away.

No further upgrades or modifications to the Gun Platform of Voice Unit are available to be implanted at time of production.

Further request from the customer will be given priority in research and development for versions 3.5 & 4.0
