Cracking the Egg is an rp I've been planning for a little while that is kind of like a modern day Spanish Inquisition of Mexico. In this rp, the Kingdom of Krataerbech sends a Krataerian Brigade to the largish island to its south to assess a situation between local tribes there that has been widley publicized. The people of the island are very isolated, to the point where no contact has been made with them by any nation, yet they have formed a highly advanced civilization, similar to the Aztecs of Mexico. The Krataerian troops arrive on the island to help out, but find the locals to be extremly hostile towards them. That's the basic plot.

Anyone signing up would play the natives; the only nations to participate openly are Drexel Hillsville and British Londinium, seeing as they are my only neighbors, and no one else in the world would know about this. But there not likely to find out until later in the RP anyways.

Here's some basic information on the island.

The island is about the size of Texas, and is located far south of Krataerbech in the Stürmisch Ocean (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=508578). The island is basically a gigantic jungle, the only break in the island being the massive mountain range. The other side of the mountains is barren and dry, similar to Chiles Atacama Desert (although not THAT dry). There are at least two civilizations on the island, althought this will be increased if more people sign up. The people have about the technology of the Roman Empire, although they have no knowledge of ocean going ship building techniques, and have limited knowledge of gunpowder (Think fireworks and the first cannons).

No, more like a bunch of Romans with primitive cannons against a brigade of MT Krataerians (1,680 strong, including logistics), who will recieve no support from Krataerbech due to a reason to be divulge later in the thread.

Lets put it this way: I have guns and tanks, they have numbers. Vast numbers. Like, hundreds of thousands.

Fair? No. But to whom? I'm expecting the people RPing the natives to use everything they've got to there advantage, and beat the snot out of me.

And you do know that you don't need OOC tags in an OOC thread, correct? :D

Alright, sweet. I'll start the thread on Wednesday. You probably won't even need to post until Thursday though, depends on how much I get done.

I promise I'll get the soldiers to the island by then.

One thing though, can you make sure the natives speak an unintelligible language, and are forced to communicate through drawings and gestures. Just for realism.

I'll be taking over the tribesmen I guess.
