Yossef stared blankly out the window at the people crossing at the crosswalk in front of him. He turned on his blinker and turned down the crossstreet.

"Haven't you thought about what we are doing Daoud, wondering if this is what Allah really wants? I mean, the Koran never actually calls for a jihad with violence, yet we still sit here, with a bomb in the back of this truck."

"I try not to think about it like that Yossef, I like to think of the bonuses that we get when we complete this job." They both laughed, it was a suicide mission, so neither of them were going to get any sort of bonus, other than the memorial service paid of by Junayd Fayiz Abdurrashid, chief finacier of the True Islamic movement in Buristan.

"Here it is, the target." said Daoud, pointing to a schoolyard infront of them, which held about three dozen young children playing on a patch of pavement. "Let us pray,
Allaahu Akbar
Allaahu Akbar
Allaahu Akbar
Allaahu Akbar
Ashhadu Allah ilaaha illa-Lah
Ashhadu Allah ilaaha illa-Lah
Ash Hadu anna Muhamadar rasuulullah
Ash Hadu anna Muhamadar rasuulullah
Hayya' alas Salaah
Hayya' alas Salaah
Hayya' ala Falaah
Hayya' ala Falaah
Allaahu Akbar
Allaahu Akbar
Laa ilaaha illa-Lah." After reciting this prayer, Yousseff took a road flare and ignited it, and threw it into the back of the truckbed, where a homemade cocktail of ammonia-based fertilizer, and other explosives lay, with an accompaniment of nails an metal scrapes dipped in rat posion. Suddenly the car exploded, and screams filled the air.

Buristan Central Broadcasting Company Newsroom

Yasir wiped the sweat off his forehead. If the government found out about his brother, he would certainly be imprisioned, tortured, and forgotten about, just like every other Buristani who fell on the wrong side of the law. The cameraman began the countdown towards the broadcast, the familiar, yet ominous three...two...one countdown.

"Good evening, from the Buristan Central Newsroom in Port Buristan, this is Yasir Sabin. Today, in a tragic turn of events, the lives of twenty-three schoolchildren ceased, after a carbomb went off on the street adjacent to the Great Mujahid School playground. The school, one of few schools open to both Christians and Muslims in the city of Abdullai, was attacked by what is believed to be True-Islamists of the known terrorist group Allah's Mujahideen. The details are not yet known, but there appears to be about seventy-five other casualties in addition to the twenty-two deceased. Premier Humzad Abdullah has yet to make an announcement about the attack, however he is expected to make one within the hour. This attack comes just one week before the National Assembly adjorns, and two weeks before the Assembly elections, so many believe it to have political ramifications. Once again, True-Islamists attack a schoolyard in Abdullai, just weeks before the election."

"We're off. Nice job everyone." said the director of the report. Yasir stood up from the desk, and walked over to the director, who voiced concern for him, "call him, he probably wasn't that stupid."

"The sad thing is, I told him he was all talk, now he may be splattered across a windshield." Replied Yasir.

Dratuk slouched on his lazy boy, watching the small TV set in front of him. The war began, the day arrived, when Islam will once again rule my country. Very soon, Allah will call on me, to fight for Him. As he thought this, the TV began to go fuzzy, getting up to adjust the bunny ears, Dratuk felt a burning sensation as his one room apartment slowly filled with a orange-colored gas. Something hit him on the back of the head, he collapsed to the floor, seeing a man in a gas mask standing above him, before everything went black.
