OOC: Yeah, I'm jumping on the marriage bandwagon again. I know a select few hate these threads, but I personally find 'em a genius way to tie two nations history's and royal lineage together. So if you have a problem with it don't post that crap in here. Thanks.

Prince Deric Norris of the Democratic Constitutional Monarchy of the Secular Empire of Maraque wishes to meet a potential spouse in hopes of one day marrying. He is not going to jump at the first person that answers his request, and answering won't mean you will marry the Prince, but he is hoping that it will eventually lead to this.

This media coverage caught the eyes of former Emperor Stephen D. Norris, and his husband Jaeger S. Shulze-Norris, who had decided after nearly 22 months of evaluations (yes even royals go through it) that they would adopt him once given the chance.

During Derics childhood he was an avid Chess player, winning various tournaments across the country. He was also a fan of history and geography, as well as foreign language. At the age of 13, he knew five languages fluently and was already studying World Politics because of a natural born love for politics.

This natural love for politics is what led Deric to seek public office. At 18 (the legal age one can run for office) he took his entire life savings (about $2.628 million) and launched a full-blown campaign against an incumbent Senator from Super City who was widely popular among older people, while horribly unpopular among a younger voter base. Despite being vastly under funded (his opponent had a reported $100 million for the campaign), Deric won by a slim majority of just under 100 votes in the city-state capital. He also received the most votes of any Senator in Super City history.

Bio: Empressa Annalise Vorbett was born on April 6th, 1987 in the Imperial Hospital of New York to Emperor Adrian Vorbett and Empress Anna Vorbett. Growing up, she was an animal lover and loved horseback riding. She always had several pets her entire childhood. During her teen years she was daddy's little girl, being the first born. Being Empress she was very popular, and threw lots of (supervised) parties. All of her boyfriends where kept under incredible surveilance. Her other things were being load into the cargo hold. She pulled out a picture of Prince Deric Norris from her jacket and looked at it as soon as her butt hit the chair.

The Lear jet was cleared and took off from Wolfingrad International.

Hours later, the Lear jet started into the airspace of the Secular Empire of Maraque. A message was radioed ahead to tell that the Dominionite plane was entering the airspace and that Captain Stark was onboard.

"This is Super City International control tower, please proceed to runway I-01 and then proceed to terminal 11. You will receive further instructions once inside. Over."

A man waited inside. "Hello and welcome to Maraque, Captain Stark." the man said. "I will be taking you to the Imperial Palace, where you will meet Prince Deric. Right, this way now..."

The man escorted Alexandria Stark to a waiting Bentley Arnage RL outside, the traditional mode of transportation for any VIP visiting the country. The man loaded all the luggage inside and gave the signal to the convey of six vehicles to pull ahead before he got in and they took off.

"Won't be very long now. The Imperial Palace is very close to the airport. Any questions before we arrive?"

Looking a bit surprised, the man said "Yes, it's quite alright."

The car made its way out of the airport and onto Super City Highway 01, which was the main and fastest way to the Imperial Palace. The views were excellent, as it traveled along side the beach. The turquoise water sparkled in the morning sunlight along the sandy pink beach, before reaching the Imperial Palace grounds.

The car pulled in slowly, going over a slight bump in the curb and behind the black steel gates that had gargoyles on top of the custom designed concrete blocks on either side. The Imperial Palace itself could be seen in the distance, a tall, striking brown stone estate in the middle of the city. They drove past the enormous water fountain in the middle of the driveway, and finally stopped in front of the large stone stairs leading up to the Imperial Palace.

Prince Deric L. Norris strode down the stairs from the dark maple double doors above, wearing a light grey formal suite, with black dress shoes and a white shirt behind the jacket, with a silk silver tie and white gold cuff links.

The man inside the vehicle got out on one side and walked over to the other to open the door for Captain Stark, as assistants poured out of the Palace behind Prince Deric taking her luggage inside.

Deric stood before her, admiring her beauty, thinking of how he should address her... "Hello... Ms. Stark... it's a pleasure to meet you." he said, shaking her hand and giving her a respectful bow.

Alexandria, looking older then her young age of eighteen, looked at Deric. "My apologies, Alexandria. I was raised to always say miss in respect. Now then, would you like me to show you around a bit? I know you must be tired traveling all the way here."

"She's much prettier in person than in pictures," Deric thought to himself, as he helped Alexandria up the stairs and into the Imperial Palace foyer; a marvelous circular hallway with old stone walls and a ceiling completely made of glass showing the beautiful morning sun above, with light clouds. On either side was a staircase leading upwards, an elevator in the middle. Next to the stairs were doorways, to the left was the formal dining room, to the left the living room.

She looked at Deric and smiled. She blushed again as he helped her walked up the stairs. After stepping into the Imperial Palace foyer, she looked around and said “It would be lovely to see what your home has it. I have been in my god-father‘s houses before and they were wonderful. You do know of my god-father, the Count?”

"Alright, we'll start in the living room then." Deric said, as he led Alexandria inside. The room behind the doors was a very inviting dark green color with dark maple wood floors, a lit fireplace in the center, with paintings of beautiful scenery on each side, as well as various sculptures on the mantel above it. On the floor was a rug made up of neutral colors of stripes and, a clear glass table with gold legs in the middle of it, surrounded by cream colored leather sofas, as well various end-tables with family photos.

"The Count... I'm not family familiar with him I'm afraid. I'm sure he is a good man."

He led her into the study, an equally as inviting and comfortable room lined with dark maple shelves that held various books of all types. "On the weekends I like to come in here and read after a hard day. There is every kind of book imaginable. It's a great feeling."

Before Deric went to show Alexandria the rest of the house, Duke, the Emperor's Great Dane came clumsily walking in. At nearly four feet tall, he was quite imposing.

"Oh, and this is Duke, my fathers guard dog, although he's not vicious at all. He's a gentle giant."

After much of the house was covered - it was pretty much impossible to show her everything as the house was rather large - Deric led her outside to the courtyard in the rear of the building. The slight morning freeze blew some flower buds off the trees as they walked down the pathway towards the lake near a small sitting area.

"Would you like something to eat? You must be starving. Perhaps we can eat here and talk a little."

Alexandria looked around the living room at everything that it offered. See looked at the paintings and various sculptures. They moved onto the study, in which was nice but she doesn’t read that much. So, she was not ready in this room. “Sounds lovely.” she said.

Then she met Duke, the Emperor’s guard dog, she smiled and allowed the dog to smell her hand. “I have a pair of English bulldogs at home, a male and a female,” she said, she looked at Duke, “Nice to met you, Duke.” She smiled and followed Deric outside through the courtyard and down a path to the lake.

“Food sounds nice.” she said looked out at the lake, as her hair blew in the soft breeze. Almost like a red-haired angel.

Alexandria looked around the living room at everything that it offered. See looked at the paintings and various sculptures. Deric pulled out a chair for Alexandria, then sat down just across from her as a server came walking down the path they had just come from.

"Hello your Highness, hello Miss. How may I serve you two this morning?"

The server turned to Alexandria first. Taking down her order and drink, he turned to Deric.

"Yes I'll have a glass of water, peach slices, two eggs sunny side up, toast, and a serving of bacon. Thank you." Deric said.

"Yes your Highness." The waiter said, then slowly walked back up towards the Palace.

"I hope you're enjoying yourself." Deric said. "What do you like to do on your spare time?" Deric said.

Duke once again clumsily came walking down the path, came towards them, looked straight at Deric for a petting, then strode off and jumped into the lake.

"Silly dog, he loves swimming." Deric said.

Alexandria sat down and said “Thank you” to Deric. She ordered scrambled eggs, two pieces of bacon, and a glass of white grape juice. She looked out at lake and watch Duke go swimming. "Yes, I'm enjoying myself. The first time I have been in a country not link with the Dominion." she said.

“On my spare time, I help the masters at the Mysterious Academy of Dragons in Wolfingrad City trained the new students. Or practice on my shooting. I’m hoping to become a sniper and get placed the 38th Oliver's Bulls to gain more training as a sniper,” she said, “My major goal is to become a member of the 1st Blood Wolves.”

She looked over at him and asked “What do you do on your spare time?”

"Very impressive." Deric thought to himself. "You're a very unique person. Not like any girl I've ever met before." He said with a slight smile.

"Me? Well, I like a good challenge. I enjoy rock climbing, hiking, and camping out in the Maraquean amazon. As you can tell I really enjoy the outdoors.

When I was younger I enlisted in a youth military academy, per royal tradition and am now in the Imperial Guard reserves force, although I wion't be in any combat situations anytime soon..." he laughed, mildly pointing out his disability. "I'm glad I decided to go along with it, as it has taught me a lot of things that I highly appreciate.

Right now though, I am studying International Politics in hopes of one day becomiing either Emperor of the entire country.... but if not I'll just continue to do something on a local level. I'm currently a Senator in the Imperial Congress.

I also give extensively to charities. I always try and give at least 15% of my earnings to charities. All the rampant poverty in the world saddens me being who I am, because if my father did not take me in when I was young I'd be just like them. so I'm very appreciative and fortunate to be in this situation as it is." He said.

Just then, Duke suddenly ran out of the lake and chased after a pigeon, following the lead of another dog that just ran out of the forestry out in the distance.

"Oh, and that is my dog... Hampton. He's a Bull Mastiff. I wish he'd leave those poor birds alone."

“Girls in the Dominion are different group then the rest of the world.” she said with a smile.

The age to join the Dominion Armed Forces were the age of twelve, the start of JWolf Youths and the program was started after the second World War.

“You have done a lot for your young age,” she said, “That is very nice for you donating money to charities.”

“I was a member of JWolf Youths. And nothing like the Hitler Youths of Nazi Germany. JWolf Youths are the boy and girls that joined the Dominion Armed Forces at twelve and the ones in the Dominion military academies,” she said before taking a breath, “The Dominion Armed Forces doesn’t force people to join, but the people join in waves because Dominion soldiers are seen as heroes to the Dominion. Plus, most people want to be famous.”

“I joined the armed forces because my father and older brothers were soldiers.” she said then put out a picture (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y101/CountJWolf/RobertStark.jpg) of her father, who looked more like her grandfather then her father, and hands it to Deric. “He is close to sixty years old.”

She watched Hampton chasing the birds.

Deric listened to all Alexandria had to say, very interested. Looking at the photo, he said "Your father looks like a very respectable man indeed."

Just before he was going to say more, the waiter came back with the tray of food.

"Yeah, I guess I have, but I just can't sit down. I have to be doing something or I get bored rather fast." Deric said laughing a bit.

They both began to eat. Deric, being unaware of his habits ate a bit fast, but he was naturally a fast-paced person, so he couldn't help himself. After a few minutes he realized what he was doing. "Sorry I tend to do things very fast." He said, while wiping his hands.

"Perhaps you'd like to see more of the country? See the sights and all that?"

OOC: Want to jump it ahead for the wedding? I don’t know what to do anymore, but go on and on about nothing. Plus, finals are coming up in a week starting as of Monday and I need to focused on them.
