Dimension: Antaries Pocket Dimension
Galaxy: The Antaries Galaxy…
System: Anatolia Star System

The Anatolia system was the home of the Trans-Dimensional Jump Gate a massive circular construction that could rival an Ori super Gate in size. These Trans-Dimensional Jump Gates were once a common sight during the height of the Imperium’s power. The construction of such things had nearly bankrupted the Trade Guilds whom financed these projects to trade with other dimensional creatures. The Imperial Military had found better use for them and created a network of Trans Dimensional Gates and used them focus their power and tear the Galaxy into a pocket dimension.

The Dimension was self containing and held the Galaxy firmly allowing the Imperium to live in a purely self contained environment. The cost however was horrific with the destruction of all the Trans Dimensional Gates except for this one in the Anatolia star system.

The reason this was done was to ensure that the Kldath’u the vile race of super parasites created by the Deatharoni military did not overwhelm the heart of their Empire. The Deatharons and their slaves inside the Antaries Galaxy managed to save themselves from the almost certain doom their Intergalactic colonies were certainly facing against the wraith of the Kldath’u and their Harvester Hive Fleets.

The surviving Deatharons and their subjects tried to take on living as the Imperium but the feeling of superiority the Deatharons normally felt over their inferior brethren and alien slaves seemed to fade within the next generation. They saw that it was their own arrogance and short sightedness that created their own downfall. The younger more enigmatic generation realized their parents and ancestors had been wrong and a new order had to be established. The Deatharons now started to follow a policy of cultural supremacy rather than military domination.

The Slave and tribute worlds were immediately granted forms of citizenship into the Empire and slowly the Imperium became the organization it is now the Imperial Star Common wealth. The Imperial Commonwealth has successfully ended slavery and brought a new philosophy of Imperial Peace and Enlightenment to the rest of the Universe.

The Imperial government was totally revolutionized in a matter of a few short years and the Great Houses were abolished. The nobility was replaced with the marker of High Citizenship and these high ones began campaigns of pacification and liberation across their home galaxy. These lasted for another decade or so but eventually the galaxy was firmly and completely under the Commonwealth’s grasp. The new Emperor Marius Von Kraken has completely replaced the old Von Antheron dynasty that has crumbled after several centuries of blind military faith and cruelty to countless beings.

The new Deatharons now seek to bring peace and enlightenment to the dimension of their origin. The Deatharons have now revitalized their role and now will stick firmly to it. They were created not to be bullies or oppressors. They were created to be warrior poets bringing peace and civilization to the war torn universe of their birth. The Imperial Star Commonwealth’s new belief is what sprung this new operation. The old Imperial records indicated the home dimension was made up of several galaxies with countless interstellar powers battling each other for dominance over matters of religion and in some cases just out of greed and spite. The Emperor Marius Von Kraken in his enigmatic way decided to start a massive campaign to pacify the home dimension and assimilate the barbaric elements into the Imperial Star Commonwealth. The Imperial Commonwealth would civilize these savages and bring them enlightenment like the other barbarian peoples that had once dwelled in the Antaries Galaxy.

The Imperial High Command was given an order enforced by the powers of the Senate, The Emperor, and the Triumvirate. They were told to mobilize a Battle fleet to the Anatolia star system. The Battle Fleet would cross into the dimension of origin via the Trans-Dimensional Jump Gate. The Gate had been activated by the lead Ship’s A.I. Avatar and the Gate began to use the point singularity that formed it’s power source to begin tearing into Space time forming the dimensional rift that would inside the Gate become a massive portal that would allow the one thousand warships of the Battle fleet to enter the home dimension.

Imperial Battleship Great Guardian…

Command Bridge….

Imperial Admiral Rakor Adorla a massive Deatharon was seated in his command chair on the bridge of his Imperial Battleship the largest and most powerful warships in the Imperial High Guard Star Armada. The Imperial Battleship Avatar the Great Guardian was giving the other Avatars of the other ship their orders and keeping the Battle Fleet united and in unison. The fleet was awaiting orders to ascend into the dimensional portal and out into a dimension considered to be over run by countless warlike barbarian hordes.

The holo face of the Imperial High Commander appeared in front of the Imperial Admiral. The Imperial High Commander was the head of the Imperial High Command and as such had command over the Imperial High Guard. The Imperial Admiral Rakor Adorla saluted his superior and greeted, “My Commander, My Battle fleet has come to Gate to await the most noble crusades. The bringing of peace and enlightenment to the poor deprived savages outside of the Imperial Star Commonwealth.”

The Imperial High Commander replied, “The orders have been confirmed and the Battle Fleet has permission to disembark from our pocket dimension and return the Dimension of origin. I hope you do not fail our Imperial Commonwealth by acting to aggressive and attacking a civilized interstellar power.”

The Imperial Admiral Rakor Adorla replied solemnly, “I shall be sure not to act to aggressively against possible civilized Interstellar powers. We believe in peace and enlightenment. I will use diplomacy first before ordering my fleet to attack a target. You have my word.”

The Imperial High Commander smiled and ordered, “Proceed.”

The Battle fleet entered the portal………………………….

The Republic Sphere was also a civilization of warrior poets, ones that had ended a long slumber to conduct a long awaited war against an enemy of such dark repute.

An alliance of Gaians, Ascendants, Confederacy Free Worlds, Angelic and assorted civilizations of trillions were already fully and deeply embroiled, and entrenched in the largest self authored war ever. While the Eternal War was far far larger than the Counterattack War now being waged, the current war was fully Gaian sponsored and led, as well as well bled in the continuing progress.

Fleets were everywhere, battle was endless. With the Counterattack War now endless, it was only a matter of time before other interstellar nations, and even Milky Way Core Galaxy (MWCG) ones in the Virgo Supercluster took notice.

After the System GT-772.33 (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=507533) Battle, Sphere forces were busy shifting forces between Archonis, the new Columbia and Corseria holdings being asserted, and Virgo Supercluster where MWCG was. It was a furiously busy time for the Sphere military, and sooner or later, the Gaians would find some other nation of note to encounter, probably to explain things to.

----

One such operation was a quick drop supply convoy from Sphere core space to the Dafaloius Star System, a Type-III civilization the Gaians wanted influence over. Lady Isarra was leading this expedition, with Lady Funaho present to lend a bit of experienced support.

"We ready?" ...the Lady Princessa asked the vessel Commander. A nod and her own order after sent a large contingent of 50,000 supply and escort vessels through Foldspace, most of which would return within a few hours for more sorties into surrounding liberated systems.

At the end of the operation, only a few hundred escort vessels, mostly no larger than light cruiser Warships. They would eventually return home for another sorte unless something diverted them first.

Dimension: Home Dimension
Galaxy: Unknown
System: Unknown

The Battle Fleet exited out of a temporary Dimensional portal in space. The Deatharoni Battle Fleet managed to get all it’s Ships out of the constantly shrinking portal. The sheer amount of power used to open such a portal and connect both dimensions could not be hidden and a sudden pulse of dimensional energy would have spread out through out the star cluster. The Admiral Rakor Adorla watched the shrinking dimensional portal and a sudden thought came to his head.

He turned to his Avatar which looked like a human male with black hair and blue eyes. The Great Guardian was his name and he was the A.I. that controlled almost all of the Imperial Battleship that was commanding the Battle Fleet. The Imperial High Guard Admiral asked in a surprisingly frightened voice, “ Do we have a way to get back? I do not see another Trans Dimensional Jump Gate around here!”

The Avatar replied in his usually calculated way, “The chances of us returning is minimal. We have no Trans Dimensional Jump Gates and it is doubtful that this dimension which according to Imperial Records is embroiled in constant war could support the means to create Dimensional portals or jump drives. We will have to create our own portal after we have completed our mission.”

The Adrimal looked crestfallen and said, “It seems our home galaxy is beyond our reach until we gather the proper resources to construct such a device. We will have to begin our operations here and expand until we can get a working Gate over here."

The Avatar replied, “That is a logical assessment to our current situation. You have left out some minor details like the fact we have just unleashed a massive amount of energy that will probably be detected by every advanced civilization that is working or studying on dimensional physics. That could draw unwanted or very hindering attention to our location. We should have the Battle Fleet use the phase cloak device. We can probably hide in the local center of the obliterated portal. It will be hard to detect our gravity signs and engines signatures if we are floating in dimensional particles."

The Admiral smiled and gave the order via secure channels to his fleet, “Okay, We may have brought unwanted attention upon ourselves begin cloak maneuvers and head into the particle dimensional particle cluster. We should be able to hide our presents and send our scouts out to explore.”

The main part of the Battle Fleet engaged their phase cloak devices and went into the dimensional particle cluster. The Gaurda Class patrol craft engaged their phase cloak devices and headed out to the edge of the system looking for signs of drawing hostile attention….

*NAIS Academy Laboratories - Washu's Adjunct*

Prof. Washu was studying telemetry readout data from a batch of Angelic Portal deployments in several theaters that were for all purposes, realtime via some severely advanced and completely top secret equipment that even the majority of the Sphere itself didn't have access to, stuff learned from several Ancient races during the time in Intracel itself.

As such, seeing deployments in greater detail than Hikari Comms could give currently, she saw something 'else' realtime just as it was occuring. She was floating in the dimensional ether of her Lab, caught off guard by a massed dimensional portal, one 'not' DE or DA caused. And one unpexctedly foreign in origin.

"Well well well. Someone decided to crash through a doorway. Now who would you be then?"

She brought up sensory holo-consoles and screens, and as they orbited around her hovering chair, she discovered interesting signatures in the arrival particles. But she would need confirmation.

"Let's see who can go...." ...bringing up a comm-panel.

---

"M30? That's just outside the Milky Way Core Galaxy?" Funaho remarked..

Isarra and Funaho, waiting on data for another supply run, was suprised that they would get a call from Washu.

...and Washu almost never called anyone outside of Council chambers. The Prof. was becoming a bit too reclusive these days, so it was a suprise to be sure. What came with the comm however was more of a shock.

":: Indeed. And since you guys are free at the moment, I thought I'd head to our M2 Cluster holding, and meet up with you guys there. I want to check this one out in person. ::"

Funaho/Isarra blinked, and they 'blinked', not sure if this was a comforting idea. "It probably wouldn't be so wise to..." Isarra started to think of a poor half-excuse. Washu just eyed back through the vidscreen. ":: Wise to do what?" ::"

Isarra slinked a bit, as Funaho took over. "We know you are busy helping develop countermeasures against the Dark Eternals..."

":: Oh don't worry about that. I can access my Lab from any ship if I really need too.

I won't blow up a galaxy either, if you're worried about that. I just want to see what caused this portal in person, that's all. ::"

Funaho leveled her eyes a touch. "Best behavior then. We'll meet you there then."

Washu made a creepy wink, and the vidscreen piped off. Isarra sighed. "I still can't quite 'get' her."

The vidscreen PIPS back on for a split sec.. ":: Says you. :: ..and PIPS back off, freezing Isarra solid. "JEEZE..."

Funaho chuckles. "Indeed I feel the same."

Isarra grumbles, then looks over at the A-SSD Concordia-class Captain. "Set course for M2-LLC1-VI. Let's pick her up then."

A couple hundred Gaian vessels, in combat guard formation, Fold on orders soon after, for the Sector capital for the M2 Cluster communications hub, the inbetween for MWCG and Core Guardianship.

Meanwhile a Comm-Orb probe was sent to the edge of the dimensional disturbance at Cluster M30, to ascertain initial data. It also had an open comm-channel to send realtime signals to M2, if anything was caught in subspace chatter.

The four hundred Gaurda patrol craft were primarily used and designed as small patrol vessels for law enforcement activities inside the Imperial Star Commonwealth. The Imperial Home Guard would also use these vessels for long range patrol activities in the outer parts of the galaxy. The main theme about these ships is they are small, fast, and usually heavily armed with a forward point singularity cannon, this serves as the primary heavy weapon while the four standard disintegrator cannons provide support fire against other smaller craft.

The down side to all the good points was the fact these ships were not heavily armored or shielded. They could not survive a direct hit from a capital ship and would be easily destroyed. These ships made great scouts and even better raiders thanks to their speed and low crew count of three people per ship. The crews usually consisted of a Deatharon captain and two human or alien subordinates.

These craft were now all around the outer edge of this star system. They formed flights of ten and began patrolling the area phased cloaked to prevent detection from more primitive space craft often employed by villainous pirate races and younger barbarian races. It was no guarantee to fool an older more sophisticated power that had come across such devices before. The Deatharoni ships however did not fear being detected by a hostile power. They could easily swarm an enemy fleet and bring the even better hidden and deadly capital ships into the fray.

The Deatharoni personally hopped they did not draw any aggressive foreign power. They did not relish fighting in this dimension with no hope of reinforcements or help of allies in any form. The current mission was to establish a Trans Dimensional Jump Gate and then begin the campaigns to pacify and liberate the countless systems that were still run by oppressive and barbaric organizations.

The Imperial Battleship Great Guardian…..

Command Bridge…….

The Admiral Rakor Adorla watched the progress of his scouting forces on the holo screen that appeared in front of him. Their sensors indicated nothing had detected them so far. The scans had been looking for signs of large fleets moving about via their gravity signatures. The scans were not able to go far thanks to the protective nature of the cloak and it only reached the closest star systems.

The Admiral sighed and said, “I want to hold this position until the dimensional particle core disrupts to normal energy. I believe any advanced civilization that could detect us would have already done so about now. I think once the dimensional particles revert back to their base forms these advanced civilizations should be able to reach us before then. If they have any sort of decent wormhole creation, or jumping device, or a highly advanced warp drive.”

The Avatar replied and said, “ You are making a very rough estimate. They could be waiting further out seeing if we make a move so they can intercept us. They may have already figured out a gate was formed and are waiting for us to make a wormhole jump out of the system.”

The Admiral sighed wearily and said, “Keep the patrol on full alert until the dimensional energy dissipates. We shall then make a mass wormhole jump to these coordinates. The Admiral pointed at a nearby star system that was detected by one of his scouts sensors.

Admiral Rakor Adorla added, “It has a nice M class planet a perfect place to set up base and we can probably make a Gate out of materials from the asteroid belt.”

The Avatar smiled and said, “We do not have the proper asteroid mining equipment. It will take days to construct a asteroid miner craft.”

The Rakor Adorla looked at his ship’s Avatar, “My dear Guardian, time is all we mere mortals have.”

The Avatar laughed his personality chip was programmed for humor even bad humor…

The Comm-Orb observed a visual spectrum bend in light wavelengths in one certain system that was obviously not natural in any form of background radiation.

Enough at least to relay such to System M2-LLC1-VI, a meager one M-Type Class world system, one moon, no other worlds. It was as intended, a wayward interceeding System to MWCG for communications. A large fleet group arriving there was a decent rarity for a backwater Gaian system, at least as far as a Gaian version of a backwater could be.

It could easily be mistaken as a vacaton spot after the decades of terraforming the Ascendants conducted after the System was chosen, for all an outsider could know.

Isarra and Funaho on the surface, at the Stargate Transport Center, watched Washu enter through the glowing white portal, the glowing whitecrystal ring around it casting her shadow pretty long along the walkway towards the other two Ladies.

Washu just wipped her head and mocked. "Boy that trip gives jet lag. So, where's the gift shoppe?"

Funaho smirks. "We provide on the connecting flight instead. Shall we?"

Washu just laughed manically for a sec, then the three left for the fleet, just as the new telemetry arrived.

They decided on a two ship routine to lessen problems, but had the remainder of the fleet on standby. They waited for a while to see if the new arrivals moved or such.

Several Hours later…

The Dimensional particles had begun to dissipate into normal energy. The heart of the dimensional particles was nearly evaporated and the fleet was starting to lose the concealing effects of the dimensional particles. The scouts continued to screen the outer systems in combat formations of ten.

They continued to look for signs of hostile forces or curious explorers. They were ordered not to initiate any form of hostile engagement until the unknown ideals of this dimension inhabitants was determined. The Imperial records indicated that this dimension was full of militant and warlike civilizations. It also noted that some of them were famous for their rather advanced technology and some were even master trading civilizations.

The Imperial Star Commonwealth’s inhabitants had wondered what was to be the fate of the people that lived here. The Battle Fleet was to be more than just a military fleet sent for conquest it was to be a exploration and trading fleet.

The rest of the fleet was already preparing to disembark from the system and begin a wormhole jump into the system that held a nice M class planet. The wormhole generators began to form several wormholes inside the system. The wormholes would connect with coordinates towards their destination it would be interesting for any witnesses to see over one thousand wormholes form almost out of nowhere. They would also be surpised to to see a fully strong Deatharoni Battle Fleet arrive. The entrance would be way to hard to cover up so the entire flee dropped their cloak.

The Admiral watched with satisfaction as his fleet was beginning to enter their individual wormhole entrances. It would be a matter of time before they were truly ready to establish a true foothold but once established the Deatharons’ hold on this galaxy would be hard press to remove..

...and all of it relayed in full realtime data to Isarra's Treeship, brought from Homeworld to the M2 cluster. Washu was rather suprised by the wormhole data, as Funaho was of the political implications.

"Deatharon or I'll regrow my own eaten liver, if I have to eat it."

Isarra icked at Washu's comment, as Funaho looked at the wormholes being made.

"They brought a large fleet for something. No idea what though." Funaho surmised, adding... "Still, answers a query about where they went to. Must have come through a Gate or something similar."

"One way, the particle decay indicates there's no destination Gate or similar device. It must be a foray from where ever they came from." Washu explained, the reading of foreign dimensional particle matter showing up on her holo-displays.

Isarra just asks.. "Should we bother them then? I do remember our history vids about the ancient war and all. Don't know if we'd be welcomed by their eyes."

Washu just shrugs. "Eh.. you can't learn without stirring things up a little. It's not my style to stay back and wait."

Funaho however objects. "And it's 'my' style to be cautious. Isarra has a point. We could become fodder if we jumped in there and thought we could be friendly without incident.

However, I would like to know more of where they ended up."

Washu just retorts in her blunt manner. "I just care about the dimension they ended up. They didn't come from 'this' dimension, I can tell you. At least not the standard Dimensional layer frequencies anyway. It'd help explain some of my dimensional reality theories."

Isarra sighs. "Sounds like were going in then. Might I suggest having the Comm-orb trail the Deatharon Fleet and see where they end up before we jump in and mess things up even more?

They could be going after a target for an objective."

Washu looks poutful. "But I like crashing parties."

"Which is why Ryoko is like that." Funaho jabs back. Washu just laughs. Isarra groans.

They end up instructing the Comm-Orb to plot a hard-fast course through one of the wormholes, instead of just simply trailing, and after arrival, send a burst datalog of destination data before self-destructing. Even if if was destroyed enroute, it only needed to connect to the wormhole horizon to get gravimetic destination data.

It would be a suprise either way.

The Comm-Orb was not detected by the Deatharon warship that had already entered the wormhole. The massive hole in space and time required that the wormhole generator be active to create a protective field over the already powerful class XII shielding. The sensors and other secondary systems were required to remain offline to save power during such jumps but they saved time instead of mucking about in hyper space.

The Deatharons had been using Wormhole technology since the foundations of the first Empire. They had even managed to improve it to the point of actually creating temporary artificial wormholes as oppose to opening naturally occurring ones. This had lead to a revolution in interstellar travel and had given the Deatharon Empire a huge advantage in military mobility and trade transportation. The small Empire had once been a small superpower in the Antaries Galaxy until the fateful day when the Deatharon Empire and the Ascendancy crossed swords..

The war between the Gaian Ascendancy and the first Empire had been more beneficial to the Deatharons in the long run. The leader of the Gaian Ascendancy, Lord Aleaic had done the Empire a great favor in assimilating it into his nation. He allowed semi autonomy and had increased trade which had made the Trade Guilds rich and powerful. His nation had also introduced technology not even believed by the Deatharoni scientists such as fold drives and more powerful weapons and greater shielding.

The Deatharon leadership ruled by the powerful Von Antheron family had however, rejected Gaian friendship. They only agreed to Gaian rule because of fear of retribution. That had lead to many rather difficult situations like the constant warring and raiding of other powers like the Zetans and the GE back in the good old days. That however was ancient history now.

The fold drive technology was a long forgotten technology that disappeared during the times of internal strife in the Imperium. They thus had better weapons and shielding but they lacked some of their old luxuries such as better interstellar travel and superior communication devices. They also had lost a valuable trading partner once they had sealed themselves off from the Ascendancy. The Imperium however made up for this by clamping down on the Antaries Galaxy. They ravaged the home worlds of countless races and enslaved them. They enslaved billions of sentient beings to form a new economy and form the heart of their oppressive and brutal Empire. The Imperial Star Commonwealth had started to focus it’s attention more on research and less on military build up. This had helped the economy by giving jobs to millions of scientists from among former slaves and had helped technological improvements.

The Deatharons were now starting to research and reintegrate these missing technologies. They however had a long way to go before making a decent fold drive. They thus had to rely on the dependable and very well entrenched wormhole creation and jumping generators.

The Deatharon warships after a few minutes of travel jumped out of wormhole space. The generators were immediately shut down by the ship’s AI network. They wanted to quickly have their sensors back on. It felt like having your eyes shut while going into a dark tunnel and naturally they wanted to see their destination.

The Battle Fleet had arrived to the system of their choice. It had the M class planet and the asteriod belt that were both quickly scanned by the Imperial Battleship. The Battle fleet immediately began to head towards the planet in a circular formation. They had their Patrol ships in the outer edge while the larger and more powerful ships formed the center of the mass. It was a standard Deatharon tactic to increase defense and fire power support against enemy fleets and was also a great holding position for large fleets trying to dominate a system.

Isarra's originating concerns were in fact from that same war of liberation the Gaians conducted upon the Deatharon Empire of old. Many harsh lessons were learned by the supposed self-standards of the light.

While the war was a resounding success as the Gaians complex afinity for massive campaigns in short timespans showed the power of the then Gaian Republic StarFleet and CAG-FACAF Touman, the attempts to redirect the Deatharon leadership to a more honorable direction became a political fiasco, as far as the Gaians saw it.

During the invasion NZ forces under Sensui and Albedo attempted to mar the Gaian code of battle armor, which was barely cleared, but not enough to avoid a seperate battle at the Gaian Homeworld, and an ADD weapon that devestated part of the atmosphere and surface of the Homeworld. On top of, the Draconis Federation interceened, via NZ backing by the old Blue Cosmos organization, nearly causing a war during a blockade, and from there, a personal crisis as the Lord Excellency conducted Exile due to the shame he personally felt because of it all.

However it also all led to the Black Wilt event, when Aleaic was forced to face his position as the Power Representia in the face, and finally accepted his long held at bay destiny. He also found an unexpected third wife, Jennifer from it all. And an alliance with the Ahb Empire.

It all finally culminated in the last war against Lord Hiei, the short lived GE war, and the removal of the Ascendancy from the Milky Way Galaxy and Virgo Supercluster altogether, to the Ascendant influenced Archonis Supercuster, 700 millions light-years away.

The end of the First Age of the Ascendancy came from the war with the Deatharons, and infuenced the progress of Ascendancy politics for a century to come, as the Gaians went through two Long Calms, the First Dark Eternal War, the Ascendance into Intracel, and the Eternal War against the Infernals on the Angelic side, surviving and prospering through all the trials of a civilization that once held less than ten Star Systems, now a major superpower among the very cosmos. By then the Gaians knew they were growing too large for easy contact with other civilizations normally anymore.

By the time of the end of the Second Long Calm, the one hundred year period of imposed peace, at the end of the Treaty of Tranella-Rei, the Eternal War's still in place Cease-Fire between the Angelics and Infernals, the Ascendancy was now the Sphere Alliance, a conglomeration of tens of millions of sentient civilizations, constituted as the self-autonomous Confederacy of Free Worlds, and the Sphere Core Republic-Empire, the Gaian Ascendancy's obtuse name for the core galaxies the Gaians held absolute power over, with absolute benevolence.

All of this became the overall name of The Guardianship, a grand alliance that included the Gaians, Ascendants, Ancients Races, Angelics, and the Confederacy, Droids and independent worlds. The amount of trade commerce, cultural exchange, technological advances, sociological freedoms, and even moral independance, as much as interdependance, was beyond staggering. It all however was as much an achievement of the ideals the Gaians fostered in full engenderment to the objective of a self-fulfilling realm that grew stronger off of itself, and not at the expense of anyone within, that gave the Sphere the boasts of military and economic might that was a source of tremendous pride, for a citizenry that had absolute equal freedoms of self-determinations, regardless of race, planetary origin, or even mortal, ascended, clone, droid alike.

Not to say the diamond exterior wasn't a perfect smooth finish, there were plenty of cuts and scars amongst it's surface. The Sphere knew that maintaining such a huge realm demanded great amounts of trust and cooperations, and not a lick of imperialistic ego or a hint of distrust, and certainly no oppression at any level. Any secrets held were fully understood to be the realm of the tools of Sphere security, and not those of leaders trying to hornswaggle it's people. Aleiac and his Council kept reminders of this almost daily.

The Deatharon War and the aftereffects are still one of those reminders. Rare for a peoples to live long enough to learn from it's mistakes, rarer to be ressurected to learn in that manner as well. It was life therefore and all it's grand results that held all the lessons, and the Gaians took them to heart daily.

The current war with the Dark Eternals, the Great Counterattack War, and the Fourth Great Expansion, fueled by tennants the Gaians were not fools to ignore, space and vengance, was also a slight derivative from the Deartharon War, as vast forces acting in small timeframes in target Systems to free them up for the new objective, was a echo the DE were being obliterated by as the War progressed. Peace came at the price of as horrible a war as imaginable, to ensure it didn't return for a long time after. The expansions into the Columbia and Corseria superclusters, the diplomatic lessons of the Deatharon War also echoing alongside, as Sphere humanitarian efforts operated in concert with active battles in progress, saw to solidify trust amongst the new allies the Sphere seeked.

It was at this point that the hilt of current Sphere civilization and the ghosts of the past were about to intersect once more.

---

The Comm-Orb got through just as easily, though the sheer effect of the wormhole was telling on the small probe's black surface, if one saw it up close. As it arrived through the wormhole, it SHOT past the accompanying Deatharon Warship, and ended up halting 15,000 kilometers from the wormhole originating event horizon, and after a quick scan and map accquisition routine, sent a burst code to nearby Comm-Orbs in the nearby systems, the closest three light-years distant.

It then destroyed itself in a strange manner. It imploded itself into a small subspace tear, rather than detonating and leaving a debri trail. The rift into subspace was tiny, but anchored enough to suck the Comm-Orb within, where two dimensional space crushed it beyond recognizable matter.

The tear healed itself up once the probe vanished, leaving a small subspace 'bump'. Whether the Deatharon vessels saw this was by chance alone.

---

*One day later*

The three Ladies in waiting, (literally,) were enjoying afternoon Treesune Tea, a leaf from the Hikari Trees that were young and flavorful, if a tad bitter, when boiled in water from the pools at the base of the Trees that drank/bathed/lived, from/in them.

If you think that's something, try the Hika sake made from the tree sap of the Trees of Light. (But another time...)

An aide comes up and bows, and Funaho bids over and takes the waiting Padd. The aide is offered tea from Isarra while Funaho reads over.

"They found an M-Type system. Just as expected. They ended up at the extreme edge of the MWCG, System JG-62844.88, well in range of our fleet comms.

We'll have better backup if we need it."

Washu glugs down her tea cup and hops up. "Well, what are we waiting for?"

Funaho retorts. "For them to claim that planet. It's better to approach after they have their foray encapsulated, rather than approach while in a inprogress campaign. I would expect from these data readouts, they'll finish in another day or two.

However the original dimensional portal coordinate should be absent of Deatharon ships, and we can approach there instead for the time being."

Washu smirks. "Like I said... waiting for?"

Isarra giggles and hops up. "I'll plot us a course Professor. Our Battlestar escort will follow."

Washu jabs an arm in the air. "YEAH, road trip at last!!"

An hour later, two Gaian vessels Fold from System M2-LLC1-VI, and head for the M30 origin point. They arrive in less than a minute.

The Deatharon War fleet had already established it’s position in the system. The massive warships that made the heart of the Battle Fleet had been scanning for signs of life on the planet and for signs of any ship movements via energy trails and faded heat signatures.

The sudden energy build up of the fold jump had been detected by the sensitive sensor network of the Deatharoni Battle Fleet. The main weapons of the fleet began to target the strange energy signature and prepared to rain death upon that spot. The two vessels that suddenly appeared were surrounded with enough fire power to level all the large planetary bodies in a star system.

The Admiral Rakor Adorla was surprised to receive reports of two unidentified vessels suddenly entering the Imperial Star Commonwealth’s newly claimed system. The Great Guardian’s Avatar began to laugh and said, “I told you that this might happen. We may have to begin diplomatic talks with this unidentified civilization. “

The Admiral growled and glared at his ship’s Avatar. He could not afford to fight a hostile power and he could not be sure if this civilization was a barbaric nation or one that had already reached a certain level of maturity to reach a diplomatic understanding with the Imperial Star Commonwealth of Deatharon.

The Admiral sighed and ordered that a hail be sent to the unknown vessels:

To: The unknown vessels
From: The Imperial 3rd Battle Fleet

This is Imperial 3rd Battle Fleet of the Imperial High Guard Armada. We are in this dimension to begin our colonization and expansion efforts. We have now identified ourselves and our intentions. We would like to ask that you do the same.

The sensor detail of being targeted by so many vessels at once made Isarra squeamish. "Dad's going kill me if we get hurt here."

Funaho giggled a bit. "Won't happen. I presume the fold drive is charged for an emergency jump if needed."

Isarra nodded blandly. "Don't feel like losing anything here for no gain. Who wants to tell them."

Washu tries to offer, but both Funaho and Isarra blanch. "Um, we don't need to frighten them."

"Cowards..."

Funaho ignores Washu and orders a comm channel opened. She wondered how the Deatharon would react....

The Admiral Rakor smiled when he read the Gaian response to his hail. The Gaians were part of old Deatharon history. The Admiral remembered them back from his days as cadet in the Imperial Star Academy learning to become a member of the Imperial Space Navy during the days of the Imperium. He now knew what he was up against.

The Gaians had been a major power back in the days of the Empire’s youth. They had disappeared and were presumed to be exterminated or more powerful than before.

The Avatar said only a few words, “This is not good.”

The Admiral looked at his ship’s intelligence and asked, ‘What is wrong?”

“They know about our jump into this dimension. They can now predict our movements and that will make them difficult to handle should our nations ever clash swords again.”

The Admiral Rakor sneered at the Avatar and said, “I think my skills as an ambassador could stop any form of violence before it starts. The Gaians are a very civilized people that have respect for other cultures. We can probably make a deal to avoid any conflict.”

The Avatar started to joke, “Your ambassadorial skills will bring us to war with the Ascendancy. We are all doomed!”

The Admiral Rakor Adorla glared and started to send a hail back to the Gaian ship

The Avatar added with a sad pathetic look, “We are so Doomed!!!!”

The bridge crew laughed and jeered with the Avatar. It was fun to watch the android make fun of the Admiral.

The Gaians would have looked plain incredulous if they had heard the Avatar's screams. As it was Lady Funaho smiled of her own accord. However the message Funaho interpreted the message as a double edged sword.

"Probably making an enemy of whoever they advanced on in that System, if there was a civilization there."

Isarra remarked. "Our own war isn't any less really. Enforcing one goverment upon a far more chaotic set."

Funaho nodded. "Your father deems otherwise, and I have little reason to argue against that. Here we'll simply treat them as diplomatically respected, as one should be, the Deatharon that be."

Isarra turned to find Washu already scanning the Universal spectrums for the dimensional rift. She had little reason to disturb her just yet. She nodded to Funaho. "After you milady."

Funaho eyed Isarra. She was a bit much like her Father.

The Avatar upon receiving the Ascendancy’s response merely shrugged and replied, “Good news Admiral the Gaian Ascendancy. Is not going to attack the Imperial Star Commonwealth! We are not doomed just yet…”

The Admiral Rakor stared at his Avatar and said, “I told you, you were over reacting like usual. I mean what kind of ship betrays his Admiral?”

The Avatar smiled and replied, “A smart one.”

Admiral Rakor growled and said, “You bucket of bolts get ready for passengers and no more stupid comments of impending destruction.”

The Avatar looked sad and moved back toward his seat near the front of the bridge section.

Admiral Rakor smiled because of his momentary victory over the A.I. and sent a reply…

You have been granted permission to meet us on my command ship. The Great Guardian. I shall meet you here along with my highly qualified and competent command staff.

A few minutes after the return message was recieved, Funaho and Isarra, along with one Angel God guard were at the Treeship docking bay. Washu followed, more intent on her screens floating with her to really concentrate on much else.

A single Lambada shuttle waited, open and with a piloting duo waiting.

"To be honest, I'm actually excited about this."

Isarra really gave Funaho a look. "Guess I'll be the reserved one then."

Washu behind them chuckled. "I'll just stay here for a bit till you both get back." ..she says, stopping at the ramp. "These readings are fascinating after all."

Funaho smiled at an old friend. "See ya when we get back then."

"Keep the tea warm." Isarra chippers as well.

The shuttle departs and heads for the IFF beacon of The Great Guardian in short order afterwards, not even using a fighter escort.

The Great Guardians shields lower to allow the Gaian shuttle to enter within docking range. The docking equipment reached out ready to allow the safe passage of the Gaian representatives.

A detachment of Imperial High Guardsmen marched down toward the entrance of the docking bay. They were ordered to escort the Gaians to the ready room. The Admiral and his staff were already there waiting to meet the Gaians.

The Imperial High Guard detachment was made up of ten Imperial Shock troopers. These soldiers looked like storm troopers except they were armed with disintegrator rifles. These weapons were capable of breaking apart the bonds that holds matter together thus destroying it.

They all looked at the Gaian women in their formal dresses and nodded in their direction. The Angel God was also acknowledged as the detachment formed a row of five each on the sides of their charges.

The Imperial Shock troopers began to march them towards the ready room to meet the command staff of the Imperial Battle Fleet. The commanding officer of the group led the way as his cohorts marched down the corridors…

The silent marching ended as soon as the commanding officer barked out, “Detachment halt!” The Imperial Shock Troopers halted and began to move away from their charges. The commanding officer walked away with the rest of his detachment.. The massive reinforced blast doors open up as soon as the representatives enter within sight range of the sensors above the door.

The room inside was highly decorated in fine apparel. The walls were covered with the images of the Imperial seal. The sight of a glass dragon was in the center piece for the table in the middle of the room. The table was circular in design and was made off artificial wood. It had several computer consoles for each person present at the table.

Admiral Rakor Adrola and his staff sat on the top half of the circle facing the Gaian representatives. The first words said to the Gaians came from the Admiral himself. The eight foot tall Deatharon greeted in a fatherly tone, “Welcome to the ready room. It is good to see our old friends the Gaians have not gone extinct after all.”

Lady Funaho gave a neutral, level look at the gathered Deatharon. She wondered within if they really learned their lesson, what with the capturing of that Star System that was noticed all too well.

She didn't remark of it any. Isarra spoke instead, rather directly. "If we may know, what are your intentions in this Dimension, returned once more and all? We cannot interfere, nor even 'can' at present time, what with our own war in progress. At the very least, such that isn't within the Virgo Supercluster. Operations in many other Superclusters at present are taking total of our resources at present."

Funaho gave a serious look at Isarra, of whom... "We have no need to hide anything here. The Dark Eternals won't last that long anyway."

14-12-2006, 06:39
The Admiral and the officers returned Funaho’s stare with one of guilt and sadness. They were feeling really bad about the incident the leveled the Imperium and brought the destruction of billions of sentient lives.

Admiral Rakor listened intently to the two Gaians talking amongst themselves. He had heard stories of the Dark Eternal Empire and their expansion across countless galaxies. They were a power that the Emperors of old feared. The Emperor even betrayed them to help the Gaians out of that very fear.

The new Deatharon generation was not afraid of the Dark Eternals they were irrelevant to the goals of the Imperial Star Commonwealth. The Commonwealth sought to bring peace and enlightenment to this Galaxy.

Admiral Rakor Adrola finally spoke solemnly, “The goals of our Commonwealth are to begin an age of peace and enlightenment through out the galaxy. We plan to spread this peace through diplomacy and if need be through the offer of protecting them. We figure the only reason any civilization has to go to war is for fear of rivals. We belive if the Galaxy was united under one banner an eternal peace could be finally achieved.”
Gaian Ascendancy
14-12-2006, 07:12
Funaho stated rather pointedly at this. "A noble goal. We thought similar once ourselves, and learned our lessons though a harsh truth.

Most of the galaxy has too many powerful nations that want to follow their own ideals and stakes. We left under duress by the wisdom of his Excellency, due to this problem. Even our war against your old empire's territories was a part of this.

We expanded our realm and ideas, through help of many allies beyond mental ken, to create our own held ideal where we can expand as similar as you do. To be honest, the Milky Way Galaxy is a crowded, over fought over place. Too many want the same thing there, too often. Few of them look beyond the edges of the Homeworld Galaxy for various reasons, even fewer look beyond Virgo Supercluster, to see the truth of the Universe as a whole.

So much of it lays very physical, very real within the reach of those that want to take the next setp.

Might I suggest therefore, to not look for within the old, but external anew. We control only three Superclusters, our of literally thousands, His Majesty says uncountable galaxies, but many I see in my own eye daily.

We 'could' use that help in the realm we are rather alone in."

Isarra looked at Funaho. "Uh, why are you sounding like Father? We're not here on such orders or anything like 'that'."

Funaho calmly looked at the Lady Princessa. "Would you rather a war of our hosts here, against those that 'we' know won't turn in such a way that is seeked?

I see a need to turn their potential in a far different direction. We aren't supposed to rule the rest of the Universe anyway, maybe it's time to teach others our ways to prosper. We need better allies anyway among our own kind, and.." ..looking at the Deatharon hosts. "...they need a better home than those fought over."

The Admiral Rakor was a little slow to get the message and said out loud, “Let me get this straight, you are saying that this galaxy is overcrowded to the point of making unity and enlightenment impossible because of the many varying faction battling each other?”

The Avatar said nothing he was still nervous about getting the crew mad at him again by making fun of the Admiral a third time.

The other Deatharon officers said nothing trying not to make their commander feel like an idiot.

Lady Funaho put it simply.. "Well, if you want to impress such against the types like Chronosia, Huntear, IDF and others, we can't stop you. You probably wont get far."

Isarra put in as word from her Father. "My father the Excellency always impressed that a realm that has options never has to focus only on any single one. resources need not be wasted, but used more constructively on endeavors that are, to be honest, easier to conduct. Least resistance does tend to give you less worries and regrets.

Example begs more notice than brute force when used artfuly.

And pride comes from accomplishments that are not at the expense of any others. I see you wish to conduct great things once more, and remove stains you worry of greatly. My advice.." ..looking at Funaho plainly.. "...if 'I' may hazard." ..then to the Deatharons.. ".. would be to look elsewhere. The local Virgo Supercluster has thousands of galaxies and smaller globulars filled with untapped resources. We can't access them fully, and the other nations are not in a position you are uniquely in.

If I may hazard, if you choose to progress a new route for a new realm, may we attempt to offer a better model that, with time and very hard work and belief, can make for a larger realm than you can dream of easily. After all, if we can grow to command, albeit loosely and through many alliances, three Superclusters, what could stop 'you' all from the same?"

Funaho holds a hand almost in Isarra's face. "We're not here to...."

"You tone and mine are similar. I heard the impart to avoid blood of their part." ..Isarra strikes back with a nod towards the Deatharons. "Besides, everyone on the Council knows we need new kinds of allies amid the Alphaverse. Maybe it's time we helped teach a new kind of way to the rest of civilized space."

Funaho and Isarra suddenly growl into a small Council argument in front of the Deatharons. "I said hold it, since we don't have the approval of the others to even attempt such a thing!"

Isarra smacks her fists on her hips at the Lady Advisor of Intellegence. "Then WHY did you start talking like we needed to be the next Coming for them like 'that'?! You've been around my Father longer than I have, and it apparently SHOWS!"

"Would you prefer we just come here and let them make a mistake that does nothing but make problems, without offering a counterproposal?"

"It's a meeting, not a diplomatic summit! If they reject the idea, we'll look dumb!"

Funaho actually 'snorts' anime steam from her nostrils. "The idea is to end their bloodshed, and for 'us' to get an ally."

"Let's cut the circle short and state the obvious. We're meddling again, except this time unlike EWT, it's not from Earth, but from another dimension altogether instead!"

"If we're NOT teachers, then what the Light are we?!?"

This all goes on until the two are actually anime growl tug of warring in each other's faces, making rather a scene of themselves. The Deatharon get to see point blunt politics Gaian style, including the final part, when the two, at the point where normal humans might actually hit each other, the two Gaians stop, and, a moment later....

...stare at each other, (with two eye blinks in simult at each other.)

..and then chuckle into a full blown laugh that makes the Gaians seem as insane as they 'all' probably are. This all lasts a good few moments, until...

"Well you two are as civilized as ever."

Funaho and Isarra JUMP as Lady Washu somehow is standing next to them both, out of nowhere. "Dear Goddess woman!" Isarra blurts.

"Oh calm down, I used a simple teleporter when no one was noticing. Everyone presume too much not to notice in the heat of things."

Funaho teardops. "One to steal the scene as always."

"We're ones to talk." Isarra rolls her eyes to end this 'cute' moment.

The Admiral Rakor Adorla merely stared at Lady Washu and asked, “Is insanity the norm for the Gaian race?”

Washu just pointed a finger under her chin and made a 'hmm' sound before responding. "Actually it's a form of stress relief. It may seem like we're insane, but there a serious layer under all of it.

Call it living out of the box, in a box that keeps changing. You only see the logic of it all when you live like we do. It's as unique as we make all of it."

Washu however turned the topic well away from the argument to something more dire. "However my colleauges make a point for one reason that has more immediate import. A dire one I must inform."

Washu flicked an unseen holobutton and a strange holoscreen projects from some unknown area. Washu's tricks are replete. The information however is veiled with a serious tone from the NAIS Professor.

"I don't know how many souls you have in that other dimension, but I garner they are in real danger, if the readings I took from the Dimensional portal are what I fear." ..she points at what looks like frequency shifts..

"Thanks to that stunt you arrived through, I was able to confirm one thing about dimensions. They all have a frequency. Various planes of reality and existence in each have a characteristic frequency, one that isn't as much about communication mediums, as it is about compatibility.

Certain frequencies have effects on others, some that can cancel each other out the same way certain particles can. Whole I don't fully grasp the full physics of it all, I 'do' know that certain phase shifts can occur to the cellular structure if frequencies are dissimilar enough.

Not phase shifts where a body can be shifts away from the visual spectrum, but one more where the cellular frequencies can 'erode' at each other. I believe this is what is occuring if this data is anywhere near accurate, and for 'me', this is theoretical stuff."

That made even Funaho shudder. "In essence, even you aren't sure."

"No, but I rarely am 'wrong'. Even through theory, suspect a frequency particle degredation between phased particles from the originating source dimension the Deatharons arrived from, is causing cellular breakdown. It's essentially the same as radiation poisoning, but on a dimensional vertex.

I need to study this more, but one thing is certain. Your peoples are not compatible with the dimension you came from. Eventually it'll cause cancers we've never seen before, or worse symptoms we can't understand yet.

I recommend evacuation before more problems occur."

Funaho stepped in suddenly. "Hold it. That will only cause a panic. Do you know how long they have anyway? And you said it was all theoretical."

Washu just bluntly replied. "Welcome to dimensional physics. I'll let you know when I'm an expert on 'any' of it." ..she looks at the Deatharon next. "And hiw long they already have been there determines if I can guess at a timetable.

I hope I'm even wrong completely for once."

Isarra just gulped beside her two friends.

The Deatharons all were wide eyed and jaws dropped at the whole scene. They all had the same fearful thoughts going through their minds. The Avatar even had a look of shock and surprise at the sudden news.

Admiral Rakor Adorla cleared his throat and asked, “How can this be? We have been living in that dimension for almost a century. We have the core of our population in that dimension. If what you say is true we will need to warn the Imperial High Command and the Emperor.”

The Deatharon officers were still afraid to speak their minds on the matter. The lead scientist of the group jumped up and said, “We have been using dimensional technology for over a century. How could we never find signs of these scientific anomalies within dimensions?”

Washu tried to remain calm, but it was obvious from the blue tone her face was starting to display, she wasn't looking too well.

"We may be too late."

Funaho finally had enough of this and blocked Washu's view of the Deatharons. "If we were here to cause a panic, you're doing a grandiouse job of it all. This is extrememly dishonorable behavior on your pat my friend. Telling someone they're going to die like that makes eve his Excellency disgusted.

Can't you show some tact?"

"That's why I'm going over to their dimension and fix it all."

Funaho stopped and looked at Washu like an insane person deserves to be looked at. "Excuse me? You said everything was theoretical, How can you fix anything by guesswork?"

Washu just pulled her arms behind her head, buring them in her long red, crab like hairstyle hair, looking pretty dang calm about it all. Funaho never could stand Washu's austerity. Isarra just kept looking on as much an observer as anyone here.

"Well. For one thing, exposure of one of us can give a basic foundation of cellular understanding within foreign dimensions. I could after all detect the problem, using our expisre to the Intracellic dimension, and the theories the Ascendants provided, to guesstimate a theory concerning dissimilar dimensional phase shifting.

If I can understand the nature of the two dimensional frequencies at hand here, since the Deatharon come from our own Dimension originally, I might be able to configure some form of device that can artifically stave off the phase shift.

Course doing that could cause unseen problems. It'd be best if they left that dimension, but in the meantime, a temporary fix can do 'if' I can study their dimensional space for a while.

The sooner the better, they have like twenty years before the first symptoms probably show up in serious measure."

...that last part makes Funaho and Isarra THUD to their backs in anime footfall fashion. Isarra's head pokes up at the bottom of the screen up to her nose level. "Dang girl, you made it all sound like they were going to be mutants or something as of tomorrow."

Washu just laughs twice and comments... "Sorry, I'm just too overly dramatic for my own good. Hope no one it mad." Funaho just considers throwing Washu out an airlock, but then the maniac probably has some countermeasure already prepared for that.

She did essentially confirm every major discovery the Sphere ever made, in use by most of our military and civilization in equal stride.

I trust her judgement, if not her tact." Washu just raspberried Funaho lightly, while Isarra straightened herself out. Isarra decided to put things back into perspective. "Given the news we all just heard, I believe best judgement, if not the most honorable in overall scope, would be to accept the Deatharon control of the system they invaded.

We still prefer to direct your course away from conflict with other nations, and help move your civilization to a seperate, more open galaxy for your designs. Your growth and prosperity would be better served with less conflict and more expansion. That's the advice I would expect my Father to give anyway. We can never force such an equation of course, but to our eye, our growth over three Superclusters has been from less of war, and more of diplomacy and trust.

That would be my advice."

The Deatharon officers began to talk to each other in hushed voices. They had to decide on the best course of action for the Commonwealth. The idea of coming back into this dimension was a strong one for the Deatharons and their comrades. They had lived in a pocket dimension for years about the size of one mere galaxy. It was going to get overcrowded and eventually colonization and expansion would become a major priority.

The flip to this argument however was the lost of the pocket dimension meant the loss of a developed and firmly colonized galaxy. The officers also had loyalties to their various homeworlds and the loss of Deatharon Prime would be a tragic loss.

The Adrimal decided to speak out his concerns, “We are sort of divided on this issue of leaving our current plane of existence. We have several hundred worlds and systems that would have to be abandoned and that would mean the lost of valuable technology, on the other hand if we do not leave we shall lose something more valuable sentient lives.

We have to carefully weigh the pros and cons of our choices before we make any final decisions. The Emperor and the Triumvirate will have to be the deciding factor with support from the Senate.”

The Avatar was also silent. It was a tough choice for even the most intelligent A.I. system in the fleet. The officers continued to talk to each other and try to come up with a unified conclusion…

Washu pipped up whether she wanted to be heard or not. "All the better for me to come and investigate your current dimension. With time, we may be able to bring enough of those worlds over to this dimension, though I cannot guarrantee any permanency in the matter.

I imagine our resources when they come more available, can assist in the extraction, but I need to access and study your dimension pocket to ascertain what 'can', and what can 'not' be done. We might be able to recovery all your worlds, some of them, or bring them here just long enough before they disintegrate. I cannot guarrantee anything without more archival knowledge.

I will not even guarrantee my own words. However with time, and we have some.." ..she eyed Funaho upon that before continuing. "...we can understand enough to do something for the short term, and over the long term, create a new true science of study that can lead to permanent results that may result in more than what one small pocket dimension can offer.

But I need to access that dimension to even get imperical data to work with first."

Washu then offered with a whimsycal, even slightly disdainful tone to it... "While I cannot move galaxies like our esteemed Excellency, I can try to duplicate some of it with time. If a foundry can create and repair planets, little else can be conquered with time. VERY little else....."

Funaho and Isarra just looked at Washu with slight awe. She 'did' have her moments.

Imperial Admiral Rakor Adorla replied solemnly, “If you can help us with this little dilemma. The Commonwealth would greatly appreciate your assistance. We don’t possess the ability to move planets let alone galaxies. We only managed to put ourselves into another dimension thanks to the efforts of our most elite scientists and researchers. They may be able to assist you in your efforts to save our people but our technological progress has deteriorated since we last meet. We may be lagging behind in this field of science.”

The Avatar added, "The pocket dimension is currently out of our reach. We went in a one way jump and need to construct another Dimensional Jump Gate to get back home."

The Deatharon science officer muttered words like impossible and insane but never made anything coherent. The others merely mirrored the Admiral’s hopeful expression of keeping their homes and maybe bringing it back to this dimension..

Funaho answered that one with.. "Then we might want to entered a temporary defense compact or something similar, so to give legal agreement to the Angelics to allow placement of a Dimensional Gate in that new System your citizens acquired in this dimension."

Washu imparted. "After such, I just need data concerning your home dimension to determine the proper frequency to activate the Gate with. It'll take a few weeks to place and activate. It'll also mean a permanent Sphere precense, as the Gates are completely under the Angelic's control, not us. Alliances are never owned, but shared after all, and all contained."

"Too true." Isarra sighed out, knowing even the Sphere had it's wanton pieces that they individually wanted to call their own identity. The Gaians the Trees, the Angelics the Gates, the Ascendants their full ascendance. There was still ego in the end, even if not truly at the fore of obvious note.

The Admiral thought about the situation thoroughly and decided to reply in a diplomatic tone, “The Imperial Commonewealth will allow me to make temporary defense pacts and treaties should the situation call for it. This situation seems like a viable emergency to exercise such measures.”

The Avatar quickly checked his database for information on Deatharon law and procedure. The Admiral was correct in his assumption and the Avatar added, “You are right sir. You can forge a temporary defense contract provided all the senior officers onboard are in agreement with your judgment.”

The other officers began to talk amongst themselves again to take a quick vote on approval for starting such a drastic pact with another foreign power. The approval of all the officers was apparent after a few minutes of debating, point crossing, and in some cases out right arguing.

Washu got ahead of herself as she rubbed her hands together.. "Okay folks, lets see about that.... hey!" ..before Funaho yanked her back by the collar. "Oh no you don't girl. We need to approve this with the other Council Advisors first before anything else.

We are the sight and hearing, not the voice here." Washu just grumbled a bit as Isarra spoke. "We'll bring this to attention of our Council, and move on from there. I imagine word of this has to be controlled to prevent a panic, so we'll return word once my Father has been fully appraised, and his word becomes our action.

Until then it would be wise to begin planning from your end, and to solidify control of that system you acquired. A mutual operational anchor will be needed." ...she said as Washu managed away from Funaho's grasp.
