Kommisar Mallich was assembling his troops in a blockade formation. Only today he had learned of Sharfghottens defeat on the ice fields, and the Custardian army was moving in this direction. It was the same army remnants from the ice feilds, along with fresh reinforcements. Mallich was ready for vengance.

Mallich's III legion:
100,000 infantry divided into 5 companies
5,000 T-60 tanks divided into 5 divisions with 1 T-80 commander per division
1 T-90 tank with 4 T-80's to form 1 command section
20 Mosquito bombers*
10 dragonfly interceptors*

* (OOC: i designed these in FT, but these are MK1)

commander Cruft snr., taking control of his late sons forces and merging them with his own legion, had sent spies to find out about the layout of Sharfs. Armed with this new knowledge, he deceived the enemy by sending his forces around them, not into the blockade but around them, in a pincer.
FORCES-
6x 15,000 companies of infantry
1x 5050 strong Metallicant tanks
1x sycamore fighter command squad inc. commander Cruft snr.
5x stag heavy jeep squadrons
3x X40 mkVI fighter squadrons
3x warfire anti air batteries

Mallich had spied the anti-air guns, so he held back his fighters. He moved his infantry in shockwave pattern, with all the infantry spreading outwards and settling into foxholes and behind sandbags. His tanks moved into a tight know, ready to engage in any direction. And Mallich himself sat astride his customised T-90 tank, along with his command squad, shouting orders.

Comms man Hans Dreanlich was with the command section, raising channels on the radio. All quiet for now. He looked at Mallich and shook his head. Mallich acknowledged the gesture, and turned to look across the peaks. Somewhere to the east, His friend had met his death...

"***sir?*****anyone?**"

Everyone turned their head to look at the radio. Dreanlich cycled backwards.

"What is youre status?"

"Possible sighting of custurdians. Grid square C-30."

The map-reader, Dumelt, was flicking pages.

"The north, sir."

"***************Sighting!"

This was not the same channel as before.

"I repeat***** F- 10!"

This was the south. Mallich contemplated for a moment. Then the truth dawned.

"It's a pincer! Everyone move to Alpha status!"

Sharfghotten would not be defeated.
Great Custardia

After lumpy custards reformation into Great Custardia Cruft snr now flew new colours. After a pilot in Crufts squadron spotted the change in position in the sharfs, the commander brought his squadron about and unleashed hell upon the hapless infantry who were completely destroyed and layed as corpses in their fox holes. The tanks burst out of the mountains and engaged the T60s

The tattered infantry began to regain a sense of order. Despite 3 companies being fully wiped out, The remainder began to club together. They haplessly scanned the sky for the elusive sycamores, but they were no-where to be seen.

"Where are our planes?" Questioned Mallich.
Dreanlich turned to the radio and called into it. The mosquitos flew in and rained incendiary missiles on the warfire AA squads. Only one of the batteries remained, and was helpless to stop the mosquitos flying over it, almost cheekily, and left the feild to re-fuel and reload.

Meanwhile, the dragonflies flew in, scattering fire over the Custurdian Mettalicants, trying to soften them up for the T-60's. They flew off searching for some enemy infantry.

The legions of tanks crashed into each other head on. Metal flew in all directions, explosions and screaming monsters trapped unlucky infantry to be crushed, or riddled with gatling weapons.

Meanwhile, The command section kept in formation, maneuvered in such a way that every direction was covered. In veiw of these machines, on the main road, infantry entrenched themselves, carrying RPG's and AA- capable machine-guns.

"No-one can defeat us" Thought Mallich. He knew his opposite number was out for vengance, but so was he...
