After comparing your design to that of other possibilites, I have decided that the Barbarosean Military will accept your offer of the IH-20 as the winning design for our SOF Helicopter Contract. We are pleased with you design and have only one questions. Is the electronic suite modifible? We would only need to add one of our GPS-DS recievers into the already provided suite. Thank you again for fufilling our contract. We plan on buying 4 production units for testing. If testing goes well, we will outfit our entire SOF units with them, buying between 400-500 units.
Your R&D Award has been wired to the Illiorian Arms account.

Is the electronics suite modifiable? Yes, and easily too. If you would like, we could integrate the GPS systems during construction. All we would need is either the designs or the units themselves. And don't worry about purchasing the four, IA has a program of sending six aircraft, pilots, maintenance crews and extra parts for show, to allow possible customer nations to view and test the aircraft and talk to those that work with it. If you like, we can have those six aircraft and their crews to you in about two months.

Morvonian Republic Arms works would like to present the Lsase Recon car
Low Silouete advanced Survailance equipment recon car (http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/5443/lsasereconcarfc9.jpg)
First made for recon duties for armored units. The versitility of the car allowed it to carry on in many different branches with many different jobs. The mobility and air-transportability made it a wonderful edition to special forces groups, light infantry divisions and para-infantry operations, as well as marine units. The light armor of the car was solved by the Utal missle defence unit, which uses radiation to scramble guided-rockets. Working in packs of three, one will usually have advance survailance equipment and only light arms, while the other two will carry the heavier weapons and replace the advanced camera equipment.
90,000 to 100,000 per unit, 4 will be given for trial purposes for free, if no purchase is made, the car will be returned ASAP.

Many thanks for takign the time to look over our submission, now to your questions:
1: The weapon in the ilusstration is the E5 Heavy Automatic Grenade Launcher details of which can be found HERE (http://z13.invisionfree.com/The_NS_Draftroom/index.php?showtopic=2824).
2: The Scorpion is full enclose with a removable roof hatch and removable side and rear doors, the enclosed body shell can be replaced with a open roll cage body if so desired, although obviously this woudl reduce the amount of armour that cna be carried.
3: While an Anti missile system would go a long way to reducing the amount of stealth the vehicle would have (what with most of them relying on soem kind of active sensor) such a device could be fitted. In terms of stealth the basic model has only minimal measures taken for signature reducation but if required the armour panels can be repalced with RAM panels which would still provide a degree of ballaistic protection ableit at a reduced level, maximum armour protection using RAM panels would be in the region of STANAG lvl2 with lvl 3 over vital areas.
4: the engine block is cosnidered a vtial area so would would receive the maximum protection from each amour kit depending on the angle of attack. The basic model only features basic audiable and thermal engine signature reduction but an imporved engine muffling system can be fitted, although the turbine engine with electric drive is already notably quieter than conventional engines.
Yours Sincerely

We thank for taking into consideration our proposal.
1.Yes there are kits for this, but also simple modifcations on the ground can allow more armor plate to be added, for whatever situation you find yourself in, allowing this machine to do everything from frontline recon to engineering duties. Its main protection though is its speed and missile defence systems.
2.To a certain point, about 1/4th its original size, or completly removed to add more firepower. Which includes anything you can put on, as long at the triger of the weapon can be activated safly by the auto systme on the turret.
3.The engine is a Rotowka CYT, instead of puting the whole engine in one big block of steel, each major part in reinforced on its own, the engine also contains redundant parts, so if a part should fail you have 1-3 more to use. All the individual major parts are on a chassie to be able to quickly remove the whole thing and save the mechanics time, the armor on the parts can stop 14.5 mm rounds and is made of a mixture of alloys ans senthetic materials to cut down on weight. The engine is also sheilded from water to allow the car to swim, making up for the advance heat control system. Sound is reduced through the holes in the armored packts for the parts, allowing the sound to expand and bounce around before exiting, thus reducing sound.
4. The gunner/camara operator has a hatch much like that of a tank. On the drivers half of the car opens up down the center to allow speedy exits and entrances.

M1200 Vampyr Air Defence Vehicle armed with Quad-linked M125A6 35mm Automatic Cannons and MIM-230 "Talon" LIDAR-guided, High-Velocity Missiles.
Overview
The improvement programme for the Spartan Mechanized Combat Vehicle comes after the reviews of combat operations in The World Soviet Party against the mercenary forces of the Griffincrest Corporation and the heavily armoured Stormtroopers of the nation of Undershi, where many of the systems already installed on the M4A2 Spartan were seen as ineffective. The improvements are set to increase the effectiveness of all systems aboard the Spartan MCV, nearly rendering it a completely new vehicle.
Armament Systems
The primary armament of the M4A3 Spartan mechanized combat vehicle is the turret-mounted, computer-controlled gyrostabilized 40mm M132 Automatic Cannon. The development of the 40mm M132 Automatic Cannon began as a replacement for the 35mm M125 Automatic Cannon which has been in service as the standard small caliber cannon since it replaced the original 25mm M242 Bushmaster cannon. The design requirements are different however for the M132 cannon compared to the older M125 since the latter was originally designed as an area suppression weapon for use against enemy infantry units and a later developed to use anti-armour rounds, the former will be designed from the outset as an accurate, anti-armour weapon with area suppression capability.
The M132 cannon is a recoil-operated, self-loading weapon with an electromagnetic assist which is capable of firing repetitive shots and short bursts of up to eight rounds (two clips of four rounds each), and has a cyclic rate of fire of 80 rounds per minute. Ammunition is fed in four-round clips with the empty shell cases being ejected forwards out of the weapon to avoid turret clutter. The weapon operates on a long-recoil system (much like the 30mm L21A1 RARDEN cannon) in which both the barrel and breech initially close together. To allow for spent ammunition casings to be ejected, the barrel recoil ceases while the breech continues to extract the spent cartridge case, which is then ejected forward out of the turret. The barrel then moves forward again, following after an interval by the breech which loads another round.
The cannon uses a smoothbore barrel, for the use of its primary armour-peircing discarding sabot tracer (APDS-T) ammunition, which also benefits from electromagnetic (EM) rails along its length to maintain a high velocity for the rounds being fired so as to produce the optimal striking velocity of 1,900m/s. The system is fully enclosed and the internal section of the weapon only protrudes a mere 50cm into the turret space. The gun is charged by a small, powered cocking/loading handle and no fumes can penetrate the turret. The cannon has a double feeder, allowing for two types of ammunition to be ready for firing which are preloaded with a clip of both M950 High-Explosive Airburst (HEAB) and M951 Armour-Piecring Discarding Sabot Tracer (APDS-T). The vehicle carries a total of 120 HEAB and 80 APDS-T rounds.
The primary ammunition type of the M132 cannon is the M951 armour-piercing discarding sabot tracer (APDS-T) round using a depleted Uranium kinetic-energy penetrator with a 13.5mm diameter and 108mm length. With the use of the electromagnetic rails along the barrel of the cannon, the round can achieve up to 1,850m/s upon striking a target, allowing for almost 400mm of penetration against Rolled Homogenous Armour equivalent.
Secondary ammunition for the weapon include the M950 high-explosive airburst (HEAB) which contains a proximity fuse which is set to the distance determined by the vehicle’s laser rangefinder. Although it can be used in its primary fashion, it may also be used as a standard HE-FRAG round, especially in urban terrain, where its proximity fuse can be set to delay detonation after the round has penetrated an obstacle such as a wall or building.
The vehicle has also been provided with a pair of M5 Launchers for the effective BGM-225 Goblin-series optically-guided anti-tank missiles. The launchers each hold a preloaded round while another eight are carried inside the vehicle for reloading through a door atop the passenger compartment. The missiles carried can consist of both the A and B variants, ammunition load outs for the weapons are chosen by the unit commander in the theatre of operations. Mounted coaxially to the M132 cannon is an 8.5mm MG68 light machinegun which is also stabilized, allowing for firing on the move, and carries a total of 1,000 rounds of ammunition with a 1:6 ratio of tracer/ball ammunition.
Fire Control Systems
The gunner is provided with improved sights with the use of the Thermal Observation and Gunnery Sight, Mark VII (THOGS VII) which is integrated with the WillTell, Mark V Fire Control System and a Discrimination Carbon Dioxide Laser Rangefinder. The THOGS VII uses a stabilized 12x Power Day Sight with optional thermal viewer suite and with positive target identification up to ranges of 10,000m. The commander also has a view through this main sight on a separate display at his/her station. There is also a backup 8x Power Day sight which can be used by the gunner should the primary sight become damaged.
The commander, in addition to his/her main sight viewer, has a monitor connected to the Commander's Independent Thermal Viewer with an attached Carbon Dioxide Laser Rangefinder for the commander to designate targets for the gunner and can enter them into the WillTell, Mark V Fire Control System's memory so that the gunner can quickly engage them with the main gun by selecting them from a list of targets provided on the gunner's monitor.
The WillTell, Mark V All-Digital Fire Control System is an improved version of the long legacy of computerized systems used in Aequatian tanks. It uses twin 128-bit Processors with an Aequatian Electronics Industries AEQ-MIL-9028D Databus and is fully integrated with other systems, including the Advanced Battlefield Information Control System (ABICS), Air Density Meter (ADM), Wind Direction and Speed Monitoring System (WDSMS), Main Gun Wear and Distortion Meter (MGWDM) and Thermal Observation and Gunnery Sight, Mark VII (THOGS VII) with Carbon Dioxide Laser Rangefinder.
Armour Protection
The M4A3 Spartan is provided with an armoured suite similar to that of the M20 Mackall series main battle tanks, although much lighter than the heavy composite armour, but no less robust. The outermost layer of armour consists of an Iron-Cobalt-Nickel alloy reinforced with Carbon, Chromium and Molybdenum to provide protection against small arms, shell fragments and splinters (this layer also helps to protect the underlying composites from unnecessary damage). A second layer consists of a Boron Nitride Composite Mesh which is designed to greatly disrupt both kinetic-energy and explosively-formed penetrators due to its low solid density and highly-efficient ballistic heat conduction, respectively. It also possesses an extremely high tensile strength, which is up to sixty times stronger than Rolled Homogenous Steel Armour. This layer is designed to provide the sloped armour of the tank protection from damage when struck by kinetic-energy penetrator (KEP) munitions and to ensure that the underlying composite layers are not comprimised.
The most protection, however, is provided by the layering of Boron Carbide ceramic composite which is encased within the same Iron-Cobalt-Nickel alloy reinforced with Carbon, Chromium and Molybdenum to provide structure. The alloy/ceramic composite provides a great amount of protection against shaped-charge anti-tank weapons such as infantry rockets like the M136 AT-4 and RPG-7. Along the inside is a Boron/High-Strength Polyethylene Synthetic Fibre Layer which protects interior personnel and vehicle systems from radiation and electromagnetic (EM) threats with a shielding rating up to 16 kRads of particle and electromagnetic radiation. It also provdes an Anti-Spall Protective Layer for interior crew and systems protection should a round be successful in penetrating the outer armoured layers.

Aequatian Military Industries offers the new G28 Infantry Combat Rifle, its modular design allows for the weapon to be converted into a carbine, designated marksman rifle and light support weapon.
Aequatian Military Industries G28 Infantry Combat Rifle
With the development of the G65A1 carbine and G70 battle rifle and both weapons being adopted by the Army and Marine Corps respectively, a problem of logistics was realized as a common ammunition was no logner in use by all of the Aequatian branches. The Army's requirements called for a lightweight round which was capable of effective armour penetration (6.35x45mm) while the Marines prefered a long-range, accurate round (8.5x60mm). It was seen by a joint task force of personnel from both the Army and Marine Training and Doctrine Commands that a common cartridge was needed and that a comprimise could be reached.
The Army/Marine Joint Development looked towards Russkyan designs for a new common munition for the service rifle. What was originally examined was the 9.3x39mm Armour-Piercing Fragmenting Jacket (APFJ) round.
Armour Piercing Fragmenting Jacket (APFJ) ammunition has been developed for the 9.3x39mm cartridge, a move inspired by the .40 DDI (10x23mm Bottleneck) cartridge found in the Doomingslandi TDX .40 Caliber Standard Issue Sidearm.
The new APFJ ammunition consists of a round with a pointed tungsten nose and core section which is surrounded by a blended metal jacket which flattens upon impact with a hardened surface, or an object that is unable to be penetrated, such as a protective vest.
Should this happen, the nose and core are able to continue penetrating; initial tests of APFJ ammunition in 9.3x39mm indicate Level IV armour is penetrated at 500 meters. Upon penetrating an armoured target the hardened tungsten nose and core begin to tumble. With unarmoured targets, the case expands and fragments as the round penetrates; creating a very large wound from the fragments, and a very difficult to treat wound from the tumbling core. APFJ ammunition has a much higher velocity than other 9.3x39mm cartridges.
The round was sized down into the 6.5x55mm and the bolt and feeding mechanism from the G65A1 carbine was altered to take the new round, allowing for greater performance by the weapon. The round will replace the 6.35x45mm ARAM cartridge in all other Aequatian service weapons, including the G65A1 carbine and MG66 squad automatic weapon. (G65A2 and MG66A1 respectively)
The Aequatian variant is fitted with an M80A Floating Dot Sight with an effective viewing range of up to 1,000m. It can also be outfitted with a 40mm M206A1 grenade launcher for light infantry support and a full universal rail system.

The Undershi Arms Mk. I Viper Infantry Fighting Vehicle:
The Undershi Arms Mk. I Viper IFV is the basis of several variant designs. The primary model is (converted to MT - PMT version available upon request):
Undershi Army Mk. I Viper IFV Model A:
- Main Gun: 88mm turret mounted cannon
- Secondary Weapons: Coxial, Remote Controlled Pintle and Fixed Frontal machineguns - can be chambered to whatever your nation's standard round is.
- Armour: The Undershi Arms Mk. I Viper IFV uses chobham reinforced armour (in MT, Neo-Chobham in PMT). This material is one of the most effective armour alloys out there. The Viper's well sloped profile carries a full 65 millimeters of armour, of which 45 is Chobham on its frontal facing, 45 on each side, of which 25 is Chobham, and 20 on the rear, of which 5 is Chobham.
- Engine: The Viper IFV uses a diesel engine, which is good for two reasons - one, it resists burning more effectively than gasoline engines and two it increases fuel milage. The engine design varies with the variant, but the A variant uses a high powered engine that allows speeds of up to 45 mph.
- Transport Capacity: The A variant is primarily an infantry support/transport variant, as befits its IFV label. As such, it can carry eight soldiers, along with its crew of four.
- Crew:
- Commander
- Turret Gunner
- Driver/Fixed Forward machinegun gunner
- Loader/mechanic/radio man
The Viper uses an auto-loader system, which frees up the loader for his other duties - namely radio operation.
- Extras: The Viper Mk. I IFV Model A has several interesting features:
- Radio: Every Viper is outfitted with a radio, allowing for superior coordination of movement and action.
- Weapons lockers: The seats in the transport section of the Viper double as weapons lockers, allowing for the storage of arms and supplies for the soldiers being carried therein.
- Medical Kit Mount: Emphasising the care given to each individual soldier in the Undershi Military, the Viper IFV has a special mount for a medical kit, located in the transport area in a readily accessible location.
- Pintle Mounted Machinegun and Remote Control: The pintle mounted machine gun allows the Viper crew that much extra fire-power, which is good... however, if one fires the pintle mount, one normally does so from an exposed position. Therefore, that problem has been solved - the pintle mount can be controlled and fired remotely from the safety of the armoured interior of the Viper.
We hope you find this design intriguing - other variants exist, such as one built for an anti-tank role which sacrifices some transport capacity for the added fire-power of a 105mm cannon, and a Scout variant, which forgoes the 88mm cannon in favor of an automatic grenade launcher and a much high speed.
We look forward to hearing from you soon.

The Macabees

Kriegzimmer would like to present its own Hali-42 into the trials. The Hali-42 is not as new of a design as others, but is just as potent (or more potent). It is designed with top of the line technology, and can be rechambered to use 5.56mm ammunition (we use the .221 Orchomenos, and that's the default). All ammunition, however, must be caseless as it's inherent with the binary liquid propellant design.
----
Hali-42 Assault Rifle
http://modernwarstudies.net/Lineart/bullrsm1.png
[This wonderful drawing was done by Mekugi.]
Abstract:
The Hali-42 is the next generation assault rifle designed for use in the Macabee army, destined to replace the long worn Hali-21, which has been the mainstay of Macabee forces for over a decade. The new rifle is the product of better understanding of rifle mechanics, as well as the developement of newer technologies that guarantee the superiority of the Hali-42 over older designs, although the project takes a wild turn away from previous design dogmatics, including a once determined stance on keeping the conventional rifle configuration, and the uses of caseless and cased ammunition. There has also been a very steep change in manufacturing technologies and rifle theoretics that have called for a change in the conentional 5.56mm NATO round to something radically different and lighter, although no less lethal, with even less recoil. The Hali-42 is within all meanings of the name, the epitome of Macabee rifle design, never known for its small arms ordnance.
The rifle uses a bullpup configuration, following the recent rise of bullpup rifles, but attempts to capitalize on the configuration to increase potential muzzle velocity, allowing for greater penetration. It also relies on caseless ammuntion, as opposed to cased ammunition, and Kriegzimmer has underscored this by converting manufacturing to mostly caseless ammunition, although it keeps the manufacturing of cased ammunition to be able to remain selling the Hali-21 and Hali-37 in the foreign market. There has also been a very new change in the propellant, and in general length ratios of the barrel to the rest of the rifle. The designated marksman rifle as includes very powerful scope technology.
Furthermore, unlike its predecessor, the Hali-21, the Hali-42 is an assault rifle in all aspects of the name. The Hali-21 was more accurately a battle rifle, using a 7.62mm round, which is one of many reasons why the change from Hali-21 to Hali-42 ultimately occured. The Hali-42 project also made the decision of ignoring international conventionals, and opted to use more lethal, but less 'civlized' round technology, including the use of the barbette. In the end, every little changed detail makes the Hali-42 amongst the more potentially lethal assault rifles in use around the world.
The Ejermacht has announced its decision to replace all existing Hali-21 rifles with the newer Hali-42, and it's expected that the international world will respond as well - mostly those that used the Hali-21 as their standard assault rifle design. This includes at least one million rifles for frontline use in the Ejermacht alone, not including stocks for reserves and replacement. The Hali-42 has the potential of being a very widely used assault rifle.
Operation and Recoil:
This particular assault rifle operates on delayed blowback, seen in action on the Heckler & Koch G3. This is to allow the rifle all the advantages of a blowback operation without limiting range or eventual muzzle velocity. Interestingly, the first prototype of the Hali-42 actually used an inertia operation on the rifle, but theoritically, the delayed blowback can be translated into a delayed inertia, offering all the recoil operations of an inertia weapon and giving it the power an effective assault rifle needs. A lot of inspiration to incorporate the delayed blowback, roller lock operation came from the Spanish CETME modelo 58 [now replaced], which's initial design was based off the model 45 Assault Rifle.
Further recoil is handled by the exceptionally small round in use [see below], a two round burst as opposed to a three round burst, and a muzzle break. Unfortunately, all these designs are counteracted by the fact that the rifle uses a magnum configuration, powering a 73 grain round with a large binary liquid propellant.
Frequent Rounds Operated:
.221 Aluminum Orchomenos
The new .221 bullet design is designed to keep the underestimated possiblities of the .221 Fireball, but to make it even lighter, allowing for an even greater achieved muzzle velocity. Total weight of the round is 73 grains. The rifle round has excellent aerodynamic properties at long ranges, mirroring that of the Fireball, which has already been suggested by many to replace standard NATO rifle rounds for the M-16 . In fact, throughout its history, the .221 Fireball has been underestimated by most. Fortunately, its cause has been understood by Kriegzimmer, and so an improved version was destined for use on the Hali-42. At the tip the round uses a series of barbettes, first used in the American Civil War, and it's designed to cause major damage within the impact zone, making the round harder to extract, and more damaging to the human body. Beyond that, the round also uses a delayed electrical spark fuze, allowing the round to puncture, then blow, causing the explosion to theoritically occur inside the victim's body, not on impact. Maximum muzzle velocity with the .221 Orchomenos has been caught at 1,070 meters per second.
[b].223 API Orchomenos
The .223 API Orchomenos is an armor piercing projectile designed to penetrate battle suits at high velocities. The round replaces the .221 Orchomenos when an enemy is known to use battle suits, but normally, the rifle uses the .221 version. This round also uses an internal barbette to maximize potential damage, with a delayed fuze.
.221 Binary Sarin Orchomenos Biological Round
In compliance with foreign needs, a variant of the .221 Orchomenos was designed to carry Sarin to make it even deadlier. Although not standard in Macabee forces, it is a round manufactured by Kriegzimmer. In order to increase shelf life the Sarin is composed and stocked in a binary method, making shelf life rather irrelevent. The round spins on terminal flight to produce the effects of Sarin. On impact the round will cause bleeding at several points on the subject, and permanent damange to the central nervous system, possibly killing them, but more likely to put them out of action indefinately. The Ejermacht has ruled out the use of Sarin rounds, but it is a popular export. Muzzle velocity, since the round is a tad heavier, is around 990 m/s.
Additional Information:
The Hali-42's barrel is fully modular, allowing it to be exchanged quite easily by camp forges in order to use other rounds. It can also be sold with a specialized muzzle to cope with the purchasing nation's round of choice, allowing the Hali-42 to be highly versatile and not dependent on the round in use by the Ejermacht. In other words, the barrel is interchangeable, although not on the field. The rest of the rifle is modular as well, making cheap replacement parts for the rifle easy, and making for a very simple cleaning operation.

Communiqué to Richard B. Addford,
Despite the fact that the Hali-42 was not chosen for the carbine, we're glad that it was chosen to fulfill another contract - we would apologize for introducing a weapon into a contract that it wasn't meant for, but then we wouldn't have stumbled into the agreement we're working on now! With that said, everything relevant to the sale of production rights has been transferred. Anything that can be sent through secure encryptions over virtual connections has been sent; the more sensitive material has been sent by hand. We thank you for purchasing the Hali-42 and guarantee good service within the Barbarosean armed forces.
