OOC: well I guess I'll kick this off
Pik Revolyustii Digging Site, About 95km north of Shazud, Tajikistan, UCAC
The Massive drilling machines could be heard for miles. The Mine was alive with activity, workers departing onto the busses to the work campsite and the new shifts arriving in. Deep within the mine a drill crew was working through a tough granite vein that had halted their progress. A charge was placed, then blown. What it revealed would prosper the UCAC for years. A wall of Iron ore sat behind the Newly blown hole. The drill team stared in awe at what they had discovered. Then they rushed up to the foreman's office and reported their finding.
One week later...
Trucks were moving in by the dozen, hauling away the ore. Shazud was now the Iron Capital of the UCAC.
Premier Bukariyyev looked at the find as an opportunity to make some friends internationally.
"Nations of the world! the UCAC has yet again made an amazing discovery. Under Pik Revolyustii in Northern Tajikistan, a massive Iron Ore deposit has been unearthed. We ask that nations step forth and trade with our great commonwealth to ensure the betterment of our peoples!"

SIC: MALABO, EQUATORIAL GUINEA

For its 57 years of independence, Equatorial Guinea had only had three presidents; Francisco Macias Nguema, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, and Teodorin Nguema Obiang. All three of them had proved themselves to be corrupt and oppressive towards their small yet resource-rich country. Surprisingly, however, there hadn't been much resistance against the regime, save the separatists on Bioko Island.
That, hopefully, was all about to change.
The man's name was José Ndong. It wasn't his real name, of course, but that's what it said on his driver's liscense, ID and passport. He was here, in Malabo, waiting for his contact. He was waiting in front of a building. A building that happened to contain the embassy for the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Ndong sighed, 'Where the hell is my contact?'
"Pssst..."
Ndong turned towards a pillar, in the direction where the noise had come from. A figure in a trench coat was behind the pillar, a cigarette in his, or her, Ndong couldn't tell, right hand.
"Are you José Ndong?" the figure behind the pillar asked in French.
Ndong crept up to the pillar, "Yes. Are you Françoise Jean?"
The "name" of Ndong's contact was both feminine and masculine; a clever trick meant to obscure, we'll just go with "it's" identity.
"Yes. I hear you represent an organization known as the Socialist Unity Party of Equatorial Guinea," "Françoise Jean" said, "Is this true?"
"It might be," Ndong said, "Who wants to know?"
"A group that might be friendly to your cause," the figure replied, "Are you interested in receiving weapons for your cause? This country has suffered horribly from these clowns who have been running this place."
"Yes, I would be," Ndong replied.
"Good," "Françoise Jean" said, "Then expect deliveries within a month."

ooc: I essentially want to RP a DRC-backed socialist rebellion in Equatorial Guinea, after which I get a satellite government. Sound okay?

Communique to the UCAC government

To whom it may concern,

I write to you on behalf of the Republic of China, regarding Premier Bukariyyev's recent announcement. As you may know, Taiwan's economy is mainly based on manufacture, and we have few natural resources of our own. Although commercial heavy industry is currently in decline in Taiwan, we do find ourselves in need of an almost constant supply of iron ore and other metal alloys in order to support our remaining facilities.

As most of these industries are shipyards that contract for the military, we have decided it would be appropriate for the state to handle the import of iron from nations such as yourselves and then oversee it's distribution in our own country.

As such, I request that we establish a formal trade treaty for the export of UCAC iron ore to the Republic of China.

Yours faithfully,
-Kayna Han,
Minister of Foreign Affairs.

SIC to Republic of China
To whom it may concern,
The UCAC would be happy to trade with the Republic, as our need for diplomatic relations is great. The main issue I forsee is the fact that China sits between the UCAC and the Republic. We are aware of your two nations "relations" and would like to know if you had any ideas on how to transport our goods to your country.

Return SIC to UCAC Government

The Republic of China has found that in the past, our larger neighbour seems content to allow us to use the name of Chinese Taipei. We suggest that any contract or statement referring to Taiwan use this instead.

As no Chinese embargo or blockade on Taiwan is currently established, ships carrying the ore would be free to dock in Taiwan. In fact, any PRC attack or other intervention would be greatly frowned on by the United States and indeed the world at large. As such, we forsee few problems provided we don't draw too much attention to the issue.
