A Heir Apparent in need of a wife

British Londinium
24-11-2006, 02:43
From His Britannic Majesty, Emperor James I, and Her Britannic Majesty, Empress Hemali I to all nations of the world

My wife and I have decided that it is about time for my son, the Crown Prince Winston (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/b/be/George_1st_Kent.PNG) to have a wife.

The Crown Prince, age 25, attended the prestigious University of Kensington, recieving a doctorate in Military Strategy, a masters degree in Political Science, and an undergraduate degree in Economic Theory. In British Londinium's recent war against Galation, the Crown Prince served in the front lines as the first officer aboard a submarine. He speaks fluent English, Arabic, and Gujarati.

Our son enjoys discussing a large range of topics, and loves a decent thrill. He would like a wife that is smart, elegant, and fun to be around.

If any additional information is needed, please send us your inquiries. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
The Emperor and Empress of British Londinium

OOC-I hope you don't mind, but I am interested.

In Russian India, there was the Prime Minister. He had a sister, named Elizabeth. Now, Elizabeth was a kind and respectable girl, able to be all that Winston wanted in a wife.

The Prime Minister had heard of this in one of his reports. He decided to pass it on to his sister, who wrote Winston a letter:

''Dear Winston, Crown Prince of British Londinium
I am Elizabeth Vezirov, a sister of the Prime Minister, Constantine Vezirov. I have heard of your search for a wife, and I thought that I would be a wife for you. Instead of my brother writing you, I decided I would do so.

I am 22 years old, and I speak fluent English, as well as Russian, several Indian languages, and others. I have a good education, and my interests include art, music and reading.

You've done economic theory? I've read on Economics, I have read the book Adam Smith wrote, as part of my education. Have you read the works of Plato or Aristotle? If so, we could discuss them.

If I am able to meet you, I hope you will tell me. If there is anything else you would like to know, you can ask me. I am sorry that I am not a Royal, but I hope that does not block us from meeting.

Thank you for your time.

Signed,
E. Vezirov''

Dear Miss Elizabeth Vezirov,

I would love to meet you in person. I have read some Plato, mainly the Republic. Being a royal is not a prerequisite, not one bit. I do appreciate your time in responding to my letter.

Sincerely,
Crown Prince Winston

OOC: I'd like to wait a bit more to see if anyone else appears.

Dear Crown Prince Winston,
I would too love to meet you. I have read the Republic, have you read works like Phaedo or Crito? Anywho, I thank you for telling me about the issue of being Royal, and you are most welcome.

Dear Miss Elizabeth Vezirov,

Indeed I have read Phaedo, but I must have merely skimmed Crito, because I can't remember it for the life of me. What do you think about Phaedo?

Dear Crown Prince Winston,
I have read Phaedo and my thoughts on it are that it is an interesting work, depicting the end of Socrates. I've read much of Plato and Aristotle, and perhaps we could talk about it together?

Dear Elizabeth,
I would think more prudent and safe if I were to come to your nation, after the recent revolution in British Londinium.

The Crown Prince prepared himself for the meeting with the Prime Minister's sister. He donned his royal attire and boarded the plane. After a brief argument with the pilot about what drinks they would be drinking in flight, the plane departed for Indian Russia.

The Crown Prince prepared himself for the meeting with the Prime Minister's daughter. He donned his royal attire and boarded the plane. After a brief argument with the pilot about what drinks they would be drinking in flight, the plane departed for Indian Russia.

OOC-It is actually the PM's sister. Also, look at the picture, that is Elizabeth Vezirov.

Elizabeth Vezirov dressed well for this occassion. She awaited the Crown Prince's arrival at her home. She lived alone but had friends, etc. At her home, she awaited the Crown Prince. A limo would take him there.

There were officals and others ready to greet him.

The Crown Prince stepped out of his private jet. He was rattled after hearing about the revolution in his country, but he was determined to meet Miss Vezirov. As he strode down the stairs, two SIS agents, specially selected for their loyalty, exited the plane after him.

The Crown Prince walked up to the officials, exchanged the customary courtesies, shook some hands, and entered the limo. The limo began to drive off to Miss Vezirov's residence.

OOC-Thanks for choosing my suitor.

Miss Vezirov awaited the arrival of the Crown Prince. She was dressed well for the occassion. She wondered about the Crown Prince until she saw his limo.

She stepped outside when she saw him exit the limo. She was with her grandfather, Constantine Vezirov (a famous veteran of World War II who defeated the Imperial Japanese Army), and her sister, Svetlana Vezirov. Her brother, Alexei Vezirov (the Prime Minister) was not present, as he was busy with politics.

The Crown Prince was introduced first to Constantine, dressed in his uniform with his medals, then Svetlana and finally Miss Elizabeth Vezirov. ''It is a honor to meet you.'' Elizabeth said, bowing respectfully, as did Svetlana and Constantine.

''Would you like a tour of my home?'' Elizabeth asked as they went inside.
Buristan

Crown Prince Winston,

I, Humza Ahmad, President of Buristan, leader of the Buristanian Church of Islam, ask if you would like to meet my sister, Yasmine Ahmad, in hopes of bonding our nations in the holy santions of marriage. She is fluent in Buristanian, Arabic, and is currently begining taught English by some of the finest tutors in the Republic. She is a large fan of Smith, and was the primary reason why I decided to adopt such a free market economy in my nation. If you are interested, I will tell here and arrange a meeting between the two of you. If you invite here to your nation, I ask if I may attend, for the dual purpose of approving of you, and to see your nation, for I have never been outside of my nation, and have much interest for what exist outside its borders.

To Humza Ahmad:
Whilst I would pleased to meet your sister, it is not prudent to do so at this time, as I am currently living in exile due to a revolution in my home nation.

Sincerely,
Crown Prince Winston

OOC-Ah, well I'll try my best to RP it. And I will ignore him.

IC: Winston accepted a tour of Elizabeth's home and he enjoyed it. They talked about philosophy during the tour, Winston was amazed at the knowledge of Elizabeth. ''I've read many works, like Phaedo, Crito, the Republic and others''. Elizabeth said. They find a portrait of the Last Day of Socrates, that hung in the home.

Finally, after the tour ended, they went outside to the garden. Elizabeth smelt some of the flowers and said ''This is my garden, Winston. I've cared for it for some time.'' Winston inspected some of the flowers and said "You've done a good job in taking care of it.''

Elizabeth thanked him for his compliment. Then they were greeted by Svetlana, who took them to lunch. During the lunch, they enjoyed themselves.

OOC-I'll continue soon.

After lunch and a war story from Constantine, Elizabeth and Winston went to Elizabeth's library, where she had books by men like Plato, Aristotle, Socrates and others. She showed him lots of her books and then said to him that his luggage was in his guest room.

Later on in the day, the sun set and the moon rose. Elizabeth and Winston had a good time together today. Winston felt Elizabeth was a smart and charming young lady, and Elizabeth felt similar things about Winston. Winston changed, got into his bed, and went to sleep. What would the future bring?

OOC-B.L, I have an idea. Not that I am being rude, which I hope I am not, but would it be ok if I could "fast forward" the RP to a later time?

OOC: That's not rude at all. I think it would be a good idea to do so.

OOC-Sure. I'll do it then but I have one question before I do. Should I RP the wedding myself or not? Can you tell me what I should do concerning the wedding?
British Londinium
25-11-2006, 02:23

OOC: Whatever you would like to do. I'm not a picky person.

OOC-Then the wedding will be a civil one, I suppose. Unless you want otherwise. The Crown Prince can stay in Russian India till after the Revolution.

IC: Today was the day of the wedding (fast fowarded). Elizabeth and Winston loved each other dearly. Elizabeth was dressed well for the occassion, and when Winston saw her, he praised her beauty.

They were married in a civil marriage (Russian India offers civil and religious marriages). The "Civil Minister" stood at the front of the room, Svetlana and Constantine smiled as the music played, and as Winston stood, seeing his bride coming.

They swore their vows, the traditional ones. And after a while, they solemized their marriage with a kiss and then they went off, to enjoy the married life.

OOC-Is this good? I just wanted to make the wedding short, not too long. Also, I don't mind if Winston would like to live in B.L with Elizabeth, and I don't think she would either.

OOC: Civil service, brilliant. Sure, they'll live in BL.

IC:
The newly wedded couple sat on the beach of a tropical island.
"Darling, I've got some great news," said Winston.
"And what would that be?" asked Elizabeth.
"Why, the revolution in my nation is almost over. We can live there. I can go home! We'd be as happy as can be, and sooner or later, I shall be Emperor, and you my Empress."
"That's lovely, dear. I can't wait."
