Open Economic Summit in Chellis(Open to all)

Chellis
23-11-2006, 21:54
Chellis will be holding an Economic summit in the coastal town of Azores in the coming weeks. We would like to welcome buisnessmen and economists from all nations of the world to attend. The summit will be held in a large convention center, easily capable of handling a very large amount of people.

At the summit, we ourselves will be holding a number of workshops, focused on state-controlled economies, dealing with varying issues. However, this is not a communist-inclusive summit. We are open to members of all economic systems, and would love for other nations to hold workshops as well, dealing from heavily capitalist, to completely communist. We want this summit to be a place for all nations to exchange ideas, and help the world economy grow.

Security will be handled by the best of the CNS(Chellian National Service), so we ask that nobody brings their own guards or weapons. The summit is to remain peaceful, and we are open to members of any nation coming, whatever relations chellis has with that nation. We will be handling security completely objectivly.

We hope that this summit can be a success. We have a hotel set up for anybody who wishes to come, as well as transportation from the airport to the hotel, and from the hotel to the summit. All expenses are paid, other than airfare. While you are here, you may also wish to partake in some tourism. We will have an airsoft tournament being held in the city while the summit is going on, so anyone who wishes to take a break from economics, is invited to watch.

Please, RSVP. The event will be held soon. We hope you can make it.

President Raslin Gregov Illiyich.

President of The Freeland of Duckquackmuse:

We will send of head economic speciallist Doctor Carl Smithic. We would be honoured to attend. Baring in mind we come to learn, we will not be able to hold any workshops but will of course attend many. We have at the moment a relatively weak economy but we hope this will not hold us back from attending?

Of course not. Half of the reason for this summit is for nations to learn innovative, new ways to handle their economies from others. We want to make the worlds economy better, as that benefits all.

As a side note, the Federation of Opatia has approved an amendment to our foreign travel policy that may conflict with some of your anti-weapon policies

ARTICLE 18.
When any government official travels outside of the nation to a meeting of more than three nations, including the Federation of Opatia, he or she must be accompinied by at least one armed guard.

We are willing to change this policy for your summit, however we need to have your opinion on this.

Chellis is glad to hear of all the nations so far wishing to come to this summit. Any nation is allowed to hold a workshop, they simply need to let us know in advance of what it will be, and how long it will take(OOC: I assume you send it to me, no need to actually say it).

As to Opatia: We are willing to allow one of your guards into chellis. However, when he is in the convention center, he can't be allowed to carry his weapon inside. We will have lockers he can leave them in. We want to make sure the convention center is completely free of arms, with the exception of a few chellian guards with concealed guns. We want to make sure this is left peaceful. We hope this compromise can be accepted.
