All across the world, where ever there was a nation with any friendly relations to the GASN, there would be Whiplash, the incredibly addictive designer drug out of Portland with the effects of ecstasy and cocaine put together. The drug was being smuggled in via several different methods. The most common was to fill up a cigarette boat full of the stuff and just try and rush it in, but there were other ways. Charter flights were always an option. So was smuggling it in by hiding it in the cargo holds of the large freighters that had stopped in Portland, or any of the dozens of other cities around the world that the 8th Street Kings had carved a nitch for themselves in. Some cities knew that there were Kings there, others did not. Either way, they were still movin merchandise.

With word of the Shazbot government putting some heavy restrictions on the things sent into and out of their nation, the Kings decided to smuggle their drugs the way many cartels do, in a condom shoved into a human passenger aboard an international flight. Surely, if the governement was going to cavity search every passenger and every piece of luggage, it would be rather costly and would not sit well with the public.

Out off the coast of Shazbotdom four cigarette boats sped towards the shore. They moved in a tight formation, so that the ones on the side could peel away and split any units giving pursuit if the ships were detected on RADAR. Behind them, they set up a fake distress beacon on a fihing boat which would distract the Shazbot Coast Guard.

Dwayne Roberts was sitting comfortably in his apartment in Red City, TWSP, counting money. Life was good being the Kings drug Kingpin in TWSP. His apartment was lavishly decorated with leopardskin wall paper and he was sitting before a massive plasma screen TV as he counted out his money that he made this week. Out on the street, he had nearly a hundred men pushing for him directly, and undoubtedly there were people pushing for his pushers too. Whiplash was easier to get into TWSP as the nation was still trying to rebuild. Hopefully soon, the drug would take over the nations youth.

Just as Roberts was about to go meet his dealers, the door was kicked open with a loud bang, and a flashbang grenade rolled inside, lighting the whole room and leaving Dwayne on the floor. An elite team of police officers stormed the room, three of them aiming at the Kingpin while another two handcuffed him and took him outside, another team checked the room and found the stash, promptly sealing it and sending it to the lab.

Lorric Harbour, Gartrinnath Province, Uldarious

Estalim Saezar shifted his eyes, the only type of crime that survived longer than a few minutes in Uldarious was the organised kind and they were feeling the squeeze something shocking, the only city they had a toehold left in was Lorric Harbour, the biggest port city in Uldarious.
The days of the crime syndicate were fading, Uldarious' police forces had executed four thousand of the top operative every year for the last decade and Estalim was feeling the losses.
"Whiplash? What the hell is that?" Saezar asked as his secretary finished.

"Some second-rate designer drug that is trying to be smuggled into GASN nations." Amon Typio said simply.
"Bah, these foreign yups have no idea what truly high-quality products are, I'd like to see this 'whiplash' compete with our Synchronisation. Pity we don't have the manpower to sell it anymore, or to do anything much at all really," Saezar said whilst taking a sip from a glass of pale green liquid.

"Un, I think maybe it's time for a different dirrection for us. How about oil investing?" Amon asked.

"Bleh we may as well, tell Shizokuma he's in charge. You think this whiplash will be a problem?" Saezar asked as he put on his coat.

"Not at all. Security is too good for them to get inside and too many people don't have the money or are too well educated for drugs too take hold, we learned that the hard way remember? Besides, the only guys who can afford drugs these days and ignore their educations and the police risk are into much harder stuff. So I'll sell our remining stock of Synchronisation to Shizokuma?" Amon answered.

"Yes, he's in charge of the Lorric Panthers now. The last two syndicates become one, a little over ten thousand men in manpower, how long do you think they have left? Sad thoughts," Saezar said and shrugged his coat on.

SCENE: Shazbotdom Naval Air Command
It was time. Suddenly the tops of over 10 hangers opened up and then 2 SA-32A's took off from inside of each hanger, a total of 20 were doing vertical takeoffs out the tops of the hangers. Along the runways 5 AC-02 Garrison Aircraft lined up for takeoffs. They would be used to drop torpedo's into the water to hit the boats.

They would make sure that crap that these boats was trying to bring into the nation wouldn't reach here.

Coast Guard is a division of the Navy. They are currently going refits. And we don't capture people trying to get stuff like this in the nation, we kill them as we consider it a major cime against the Dark Empire. It's punishable by death, no matter if they are arrested or not. The Supreme Emperor has given the military full authority to take care of anyone trying to smuggle stuff like this into the nation. Which means blowing them out of the water if nessicary.

SECRET IC:
SCENE: 3 Miles east of the Illegal Boats
The Thunderbolts and Garrison aircraft dropped to 15 foot above sea level and sped on towards the boats that had illegally entered Shazbotdom Territorial Waters. The Thunderbolts prepared their internal rotating rocket pods to fire volleys of rockets at the boats while the Garrisons prepared to drop the torpedo's into the water.

P1: "This is Thunderbolt Alpha Omega Four Seven to Air Command. We are on final approach to the boats. Estimated time to enguagment, 1 minute."

Even though they aren't role-played, there are probably tons of ships coming and going from your nation. Unless your nation is a completely psychotic police state, it is unlikely your nation would react to a small unidentified boat by blowing it out of the water without even trying to communicate with it. Any reasonable nation would ask the boat to identify itself then maybe send a helo or coast guard vessal to check it out. For all you know, that boat could be some tourists, boat enthusiasts, immigrants, or even your own citizens.

Also, your whole nation is an island. That boat could approach land pretty much anywhere it wanted. While a cigarette boat might raise suspicion, it is fast. Unless your pilots spend their days sitting in their cockpits waiting to take off, there is a pretty good chance it would make it to shore before you could respond. That is why nations use coast guards instead of fighter aircraft for that sort of thing.

But there are many nations that have no paralell to real life here on NS.
Do you really think a nation like AMF or Kraven would really ever exist?
In NS we have much greater control over our nations than even the best dictator does.
Plus Shaz already said that his Coast Guard was going through refits and so he had the jets there while his coast guard was out of action.

In some respects Shaz's nation is like mine, my populous is highly xenophobic except to foreigners that the Chairman has declared "Firends of Uldarious", any unregistered vehicles are hailed and if no response they are destroyed with no questions asked.
Just like merely being a foreigner in any major city is grounds for Inquision or even outright execution.
This is easily enough to stop any illegal immigration or drug smuggling when combined with the frequent police cpatrols and systematic searches.


I'll give you this, in real-life a nation couldn't fully stamp out illegal drug-smuggling, like you said, but in NS it is a possibility.
Remember many things in NS aren't really practial in real life, but here they can even be commonplace.

I don't have illegal immigration. Any people who wish to immigrate go through strict classes that try to get rid of any homeland rivalries that the immigrants tend to have. Although more than 90% of my population growth does come from in fact, my own Shazbotdom Nationals having children of their own.

And as for drug traffic. Yes I can completely stop it. My entire nation, besides Shaz Bay, is one giant cliff. It's lined with barbed wire tucked nicely away and you wouldn't be able to see it because of the plants that grow on the cliffs. It is impossible for any foreign boats, especially cigarette boats, to land along the shoreline of my naiton.

See above section. The island is all cliffs except for Shaz Bay, which is highly fortified. There's no way that boats could get in without my military knowing. Using technology such as radar, sonar, and active underwater microphones (The US uses them in the pacific to track russian naval vessels), we know where any ship is that comes near our nation.

Nope. Going to blow their asses out of the water. And your people can't sue my government for defending our nation. There is no international law against destroying boats in my territorial waters. See all past UN Resolutions. Also, you never asked to RP this whole thing so I could just ignore this and ignore any of your people within my national waters.

P.S. If you intend to quote the "Maritime Saftey Standars Act", it says nothing about civilian vessels. only about Hospital Ships and large transportation ships. So don't use that as a defence.

Well I have a job that makes me work from 8am to 4pm so this is what I do after that.

IC:
The AC-02 Garrisons unleashed their torpedo's. The two bomb bays on each garrison opened up and the torpedo's dropped out of them into the water, flying at the unwanted boats at high speed. A total of 10 Torpedo's were in the water heading towards the cigarrete boats. The Garrisons then turned and headed back towards shore at high speed. Heading back towards Shazbotdom Marine Air Base.

The 20 SA-32A's kept low though, they opened up their two rocket pod launch doors and put their fingers on the trigger. As soon as they had a visual confirmation, they pulled the triggers on their flight sticks. Dozens upon dozens of rockets flew out of their craft towards the cigarette boats as speeds that would rip apart the little boats.

The SA-32A's then turned slightly to fly towards another flight path that they are going to use to fire more rockets at them. They would show these drug smugglers that the Dark Empire of Shazbotdom isn't to be messed with.

Meanwhile, back in the Dark Empire of Shazbotdom, the security in the airports was at high priority. Checks were carried out on anyone that entered the airport from an international flight, including flights that came from any of the Colonies of the Dark Empire. Methods that were used included Metal Detectors and X-Ray Devices. Everyone comming in from an international flight was forced though both the Metal Detectors and the X-Ray Devices.

Federal Agents were ready to arrest anyone who looked suspicious and set off any of the Metal Detectors or if anything suspicious showed up on the X-Ray Devices.

A short time later...

Something looked wierd. As one man walked through the X-Ray Device, something popped up on the scan. Something around the abdomonal section of the body that looked tubular. The Federal Agents closed in on him and grabbed him, throwing him against a wall and then into a small room off to the side. He was strip searched and when nothing was found, they strapped him down onto at able and ran him under an X-Ray Device, naked as a jaybird.

When they finally noticed where it was, they used equipment to open up his colon and take out the object, which was found to be a condom with some sort of substance. They would ship it off to the lab and arrest the man for posession of a contorlled substance and illegally bringing a controlled substance into the Dark Empire of Shazbotdom.
