MAKING FT KICKASS, ONE PLANET AT A TIME

PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING QUESTIONS

That’s right you read it. Lately, for a certain RP thread that me and some friends are doing, I have been creating 3 dimensional Pictures of their home worlds with Bitmaps that they created. With these Bitmaps, I created actual planets that had dynamic lighting and a 3D look. This is going to make our RP great, but I also want to spread this to the rest of the FT and even MT nations out here. I can make your home world and even a solar system complete with other planets, moons, and a sun, for no charge.

Although I have a decent supply of Jovian and Rocky Textures, if you want a terrestrial (Earth-like) world, you WILL have to provide the Bitmap file for it. You can get a simple one from this website:

This will help create an Atlas that way I can wrap it around your new planet. Of course, you don't have to use this. In fact, if you excel at making atlases, I encourage you to make it and send me your picture at the email to which I will disclose when we make the transaction. Remember, the Bigger the picture, the better the quality.

Just remember these rules:

1.Since right now I am by myself, I can only do so many planets.
2.In the case of terrestrial worlds, you need to provide your own bitmap. The bigger, the better.
3.The bitmap has to be like an atlas here is an example:

4.Please list what you want with the planet. Here’s a little application that you must follow:

Name of Planet:
Type of Planet:
Jovian: Gas Planet, like Saturn, Jupiter, etc.

Rocky: Mercury, Pluto. A subcategory for this is Lava Planet

Terrestrial: Has an atmosphere and a surface and may contain life. Earth, Venus. A sub category would be an Ocean Planet.

Barren: Had life at one point but now just a massive desert. Mars. A subcategory is an Ice Planet

Special Features (i.e. Rings, moons, meteors)
Number of said Features:
Choice of Dynamic Lighting (optional):

I'm considering two different Terrestrial Class worlds, both ringed, one with three moons, another just one. Both would become capital worlds for the two Superclusters the Fourth Great Expansion encapsulated, as part of the Confederacy Alliance Sphere, after the Counterattack War (relatively) ends.

Might expand it to create two star systems as well using the other tool for creating star systems on that same site.

Getting a 3-D pic to post on my nation portal site of each world would add to the (fantasy) realisim of the whole process. This place sure gave an idea I wasn't giving before hand, so this is a good thang. =^^=

I'll get the two maps to ya, just need a TG for the email, and I'll send the same in return. =^^=

No, just light from a blue type star for Confederasa Prime and an light green for Corseria Marasii. (one moon for Confederasa, three for Corseria.) TG sent and about to send the email back in a bit here. =^^=

You should add bump maps to the textures... The smooth look of the planets you have created so far kind of detracts from the overall effect...

for the most part, people send me the bitmaps and I do the planets. If anyone wants to use a bump map they can send it in. I just put that dire press site up because it is for basic planetary making.

Ok. Here is it. What I do is I take Bitmaps and Texture maps from you guys for Terran planets (I have Jovian and Moon skins already) and turn them into 3D planets for RPs and history, etc. Then you email me the Bitmaps and I make them in like 5 minutes, moons and rings and whatnot. Then I post them and send you them. And as the first post says, it is free.

No problem. Just turn in a simple application using the parameters I have stated in my first post.

I don't need another planet as you have already made one for me. I just wanted to post for the benefit of potential customers. Dude does kick ass work on these things. I built the bitmap file and sent it to Edoniakistanbabweagua. Two hours later, I had a totally sweet picture of my home world to go into the fact book I am putting together.

It is now, i have just been pretty busy with projects, tests, women, and lord knows what else life can throw at me. So as my TG explained, I am back in the business.

EDIT: I do in fact have the old Bitmap. I'll be able to finish it at the end of this week. As I told Asfaultum, I have some things that must be dealt with this week so both yours and Asfaultums's should be sent by Sunday. Its been a real long semester but things are slowing down now and I can do this shop again.
