Those listed in red are in scarce supply, and there is a need to import those goods, or in the case of manufactured goods, innovation to be able to build competitive goods.

*Although limited quantities are produced/availible, reserves are sufficient, as Krataerbech does not have a large demand of said product.
**Hydrogen was included in the section including manufactured goods because the process involved in producing it more reasembles the creation of a manufactured good than collecting a renewable resource.

OOC: This list is very much under construction. Other nations may use this thread to initiate trade for goods. This thread is not to bash my nation, nor anyone elses, nor have conversation not related to Imports and Exports of Krataerbech. However, CONSTRUCTIVE criticism is very welcome, even encouraged.
A note: I am RPing my nation, Krataerbech, as having a population of 400 million, although my nationstates page says differently. I am not "godmoding", I have had many older nations, and could simply have used those nations and had a billion-range population. However, I dislike the names of those nations, and am choosing to use this one. I am also not useing the GDP of Krataerbech as listed on economic calculators, I am creating one. Hence this thread. This is also not the place to discuss any of this, you may do that here: Click (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=507794)

SUBJ: Trade Proposal

Greetings!

The Neverending Dictatorial Land of Barbarosea is intrested in opening trade routes with Krataerbech. We have examined our economy as well as yours and have worked out a deal we believe to be beneficial to both parties. We can import in excess both Gold and Diamonds. We can also import Iron, Copper, Platnium if you would like. We would require that you export us some of your most advanced Automobiles and Aerospace Technology. We are proposing a tarrif of 2% (1% National Trade Act, 1% Homeland Defense Act) on automobiles. You will have an advantage over all but Gholgothian nations in this catagory, who are imposed a 1% tarrif. All other nations importing automobiles have a 5-25% tarrif on all imports.

We request that your tarrifs on our imports be no more then the following:
Gold: 4%
Diamonds: 3%
Iron, Copper: 6%
Platnium: 10%

We also would set up a Aerospace Technology transfer, paying fair market value for all technology and plans imported to Barbarosea. We are willing to export much of our R&D raw data for a reduced rate if all other conditions are met.

We have examined this deal, and propsed one of two options.

Either you allow Barbarosea to mine Uranium in your nation for no governmental imposed fees that exceed those in Barbarosea (5% of all profit). This would lead to a regulation in the imports and exports as to never let either country owe more then USD$20,000,000,000 (20B) to the other.

If that option is not sutible, we propose that per fiscal year, our trade would balance to you oweing USD$8,000,000,000 (8B). If ever the situation would present itself that you required less from us then we from you, that would negate the above value.

Please consider our deal and reply in prompt fashion.

OOC: What exactly do you mean by Military Technology?

The Kingdom is willing to export automobiles and aerospace technologies in return for the importation of Gold and Diamonds to our nation. We will also allow your nation to mine for Uranium in select locations deemed suitible for foriegn mining operations.

If the deal is set, we are ready to sign the papers.

OOC: But I never said anything about haveing any uranium at all...
Well, I'll add that now, considering it is exactly what I forgot to put in. And what I meant by aerospace technology is the ability to build such things. I probably should have just gotten rid of the 'Technology' part. Infact, I'll do that now too. Military technology simply means guns, ships, tanks, and the like. The fact that we have insufficient innovation simply means we are looking for production rights for such goods so we may produce them ourselves.

SUBJ: Trade Proposal

Hello.
The Holy Republic of Recolitus is interested in possible trade relations with the nation of Krataerbech. While our economy is quite small at the moment, we feel we can successfully negotiate a deal with your nation. At the moment the deal is as follows:

Imports to Krataerbech:
Silver
Oil

Exports from Krataerbech to Recolitus:
Dairy and Livestock
Timber Reserves

We wish to import around USD$1,000,000 of Dairy and Livestock and USD$500,000 Timber Reserves. We are willing to negotiate tariffs up to 8%.

We certainly hope these terms are acceptable. God Bless and we look forward to hearing from you.

The Kingdom does not require any amounts of oil at this time. However, imports of silver would be greatly appreciated, and tarrifs will be no higher than 3% We would be willing to export dairy and livestock, as well as timber, to your nation, with tarrifs no higher than 5%.

Thank you for your quick reply. We must, however, renounce our original plan.

Due to the lack of need for oil, we must recall our previous claim for USD$1,000,000 in Dairy and Livestock. We now would like to institute a trade agreement for USD$750,000 of Timber tri-monthly. We are also willing to export up to USD$900,000 of Silver to The Kingdom of Kraeterbech. Please inform us if this new deal is acceptable, and if so the amount of Silver wished for.

We look forward to hearing from you and God Bless.

Salutations,

As our nation expands its international dealings, trade becomes more important to His Majesty's desired foreign relations. Recognizing the abilities and limitations of our two nations, I have prepared the following terms for your consideration.

The Lower Columbia Ministry of Commerce proposes to send some of the nation's excess titanium and textile products to Krataerbech, in such quantities as to satisfy your growing nation's needs, in exchange for Kraeterian hydrogen and aerospace designs. With the growin interest in zero-emission vehicles, many of our domestic automobile manufacturers wish for increased supplies of hydrogen before mass-producing fuel cell-powered cars; I believe that a supply if Kraeterian hydrogen would prove valuable in advancing the industry toward this phase.

In accordance with existing trade laws, we must place 3% tariffs on all incoming goods. We request Kraeterian tariffs on our exports be no larger than 5%, preferably closer to our own tariff level.

I commend you for opening your nation to trade and look forward to long years of pleasant economic relations with you.

Oops, and here I was thinking it was tungsten I needed. Thats actually slightly depressing on my part. I do prefer this format though, as opposed to buying the goods in a storefront, so I guess it worked out.)

His and Her Majesties' Government has realised that our supply of grains and timber is becoming low. Ergo, we propose a trade.

For timber and grain, British Londinium will offer you military equipment and code-name 'vug,' a substance that has made it possible to sustain fusion reactions.

The Kingdom does not require any military supplies. What was meant was that Krataerbech is lacking in military innovation, not the ability to produce it. For example, Krataerbech's MBT, the Challenger II, is obsolete. However, the Kingdom has failed to create a suitible design for the replacement. Make sense?
As for the fusion reactor, thats impossible. No one can do that in the near future!

If you would still like to import grain and timber from our country, we will be glad to do so.

Signed,
Augustus Skye

OOC: Yeah, so basically I would need designs for military stuff. And about the fusion reactor, I'm trying to be as thoroughly a MT nation as I can be. I know you are a PMT nation, but for for me fusion is out of the question.
