OOC: This thread is dedicated to the RP-ing of the state of Cold War that exists between the CA and the GASN - i.e., kidnapping/assissting the defection of scientists, assassinations, sabatoge, terrorism... you know what I'm talking about. Well? Let's get this started!

Undershi City, Undershi Province, The Undershi Empire

IIS Colonel Yursuf Schmidt smilled as he examined the Agents. They were norms, true... but for covert action in hostile nations, who could they use other than norms? These three had been well chosen for their purpose - they were desperate, and knew that they had only three options - suceed, die trying to... or die upon a cross at the hands of the wrathful IIS. Just the way he wanted them to be.
Finally, after allowing their nervousness to grow, he spoke:
"Well, I assume you're wondering why I've called you here today..."

"Well, the Corporate Alliance is up to something," Spoke Intelligence Officer Alexsiev Popravov, "The question is, what?"

"Good question," Replied Lord Governor Baker. "Very Good. Do the Border Guards know anything?"

"Nothing I've been made aware of sir."

"Hmm....I suppose they don't then. Well, I suppose the best option is to use the GSG-9. We still have a Naval Team in Blackhelm, maybe they can uncover something?"

"It is worth a try."

"Get on that. Try to contact the team, and then arrange for them to link up with Griffincrest's son. He's an ally. Try to get some information out of him. Or, if he won't do that, at least tell him to deny the team's presence. If that changes, and he tries to make their presence known, kill him. Hell, Griffincrest himself would be a damn fine target. Also, it would cause enough disarray for Operation Red Storm to become a reality!"

"Very true sir. I like it. I think it will work."

"Thank you. Now get to it!" He showed him off with a friendly smile. The Officer went to the door, and immediately got to work.

Classified CA Meeting

"The real way we can beat the GASN is weapons-wise. We need better equipment, especially for our poorer countries. Therefore, we need to start an initiative to arm every single last person in the CA with highly effective and cheap weapons."

"Therefore I propose that the venerable AK-47 and every similar old rifle and be fully replaced in service in the CA, with the AR-550."

"For every AK-47 turned into to us, it will be replaced with a fully functional AR-550 and a clip of ammunition."

"I also submit, for the Council's approval, our replacement for the ancient and unprotected 1 ton, 2.5 ton, and 5 ton trucks in our service, for this vehicle, which carries 3 metric tons or 3.3 tons of cargo."

"Fully resists rifle fire, and heavy machine gun fire. And it can float too. Imagine never having to worry about infantry raids on your supply lines, and how a river won't stop an advance."

"Ladies and Gentlemen of the nations, corporations and organizations representing the Corporate Alliance, I give you the HT-50 Heavy Transport."

HT-50 Heavy Transport (Mafia)

Meant as a replacement for trucks in active combat zones, it can resist enemy fire, and return it from a side mounted machine gun. Finally, supply lines can be safe from pesky infantry and scout cars.

Its design allows it to float and its churning wheels drive it forward, so it can ford rivers effectively. A simple kit allows it to go much deeper thanks to a snorkel.

Basics

Crew: 2 (+8 no cargo)
Length: 5 m
Width: 1.9 m
Height: 1.83 m
Weight: 4.6 tonnes
Cargo: 3 tonnes (metric tons)
Armour: 30mm RHAe (aluminum alloys, resists .50 cal beyond 50m)
Armament: 7.62mm MG
Powerplant: 320 hp diesel V8
Suspension: 4x4 wheel, leaf spring
Road speed: 100 km/h
Range: 285 km

Cost: $85,000 US

A curtain was lifted and the vehicle itself was presented. Outwardly, it looked nothing like the HT-101 or HT-106 , but was rounder, the windows larger, the side doors gone, and had the rear of the truck but the front of the BTR-40.

A video began to play on the view screen of a Mafia Technical firing at an HT-50 with .50 cal tracer rounds bouncing off. A group of infantry ambushing a HT-50 and firing MP5s at the vehicle to no effect. They moved to the rear and faced an aluminium ramp and fired at that, again to no effect. Then a shot from the inside, showing the fabric covering absorbing the 9mm rounds.

Then a shot of the internal compartment filled with peaches, and several men with AK-47s lined up alongside it and fired. The rounds thudded against the fabric covering and when the firing stopped, the sound of bullets which had come loose from the fabric fell to the ground. The ramp was lowered and a flashlight shone into the vehicle. Every single peach was fine. A man picked one up and took a bite out and smiled.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, at a price of 85,000 USD, we can replace our truck fleet."

A video ran of a convoy being strafed by a group of attack helicopters, and ambulances recovering dead people from the convoy while firefighting crews were putting out fires.

"This is a video of a Griffencrest Convoy being attacked during one of our many campaigns. The death, the destruction, all could have been avoided had the HT-50 come out in time for that campaign."

The video cut to another video with much more encouraging music. A similar convoy was shown, and the first video was from the helicopter's point of view. 5 Mafia RF44 Gunships swooped down, and fired their .50 cal guns. Cameras mounted inside the trucks showed the thumps of the rounds against the armour, and the movement of the fabric as it absorbs the round.

Then a group of infantry appeared and opened fire on the convoy. Again a shot of the armour plinking and the fabric thudding. Then the side mounted gun fired and the infantry fell over as the MGs sweeped back and forth. A shot from inside the cab showed bullets impacting the glass and not penetrating.

A Hummer appeared and was promptly shot up by the MGs, penetrating the windows and armour and finally the Hummer exploded in a impressive ball of fire.

The final shot of the Hummer was a dummy representing the driver, hitting the dirt, followed by his severed plastic limbs, his burning clothes singing his polymer skin.

Finally a Mafia Gunship swooped down on a convoy, only to be shot down by counterfire from the HT-50s.

All of it was marketing of course, but impressive marketing.

"Remember, only a few thousand more than 5 ton trucks, and offers infinitely more protection and can save the lives of many soldiers, and doom enemy soldiers to death."

"And before I forget, we offer a 10mm Steel Overcoat to help it resist heavy fire with only a small drop in cargo capacity."

Clandonian Military High Command Meeting

For a long time many felt resentment against the GASN and CA which was why the Dominion Commonwealth was seen as a good option. However, many in the economic area suggested the Corporate Alliance as the defender of free market principles. The Clandonian Corporation and the government applied for membership as Corporation forces fought along side Mafia and Griffenfest forces in the quest for the much needed human resources in the contract that was established with the Mafia.

In the end, it was decided that Clandonias future was in the Corporate Alliane. As the soldiers watched out from their positions on the Southern coast towards the Cravenian coastline, many wondered what they would say...Perhaps Clandonia would be on the frontline in any stalemate against the GASN forces.

SCENE: Shazbotdom Imperial Palace
The latest statistics were back. Another few nations had joined the ranks of the CA. George wasn't worried though as he didn't see them as a threat. Free enterprise had been a major part of the Dark Empire since it's turn to socialism. A portion of all sales within the nation went into a specialised fund that went to repair damaged buildings where new businesses could open up, and to build more low-income housing so the amount of homeless would decline. Shazbotdom had come a long way since it was founded several hundred years ago, and they still had a ways to go.

The DEFCON rating was upped to DEFCON 3 as the Marine Corps was preparing for yet another skirmish with the nation of Galation. The Dark Empire was sick of them threatening nuclear weapons right off the back. But oh well, such is life. With the uprank in the defcon rating, the anti-air and anti ship shoreline defences as well as the MDS were bought into full operational power. Orbital lasers and anti-ICBM missiles were prepared for targeting anything that came within 1,000km of the Dark Empire.

Pudite Prefecture One, Administration Compound One, Foreign Interaction Office
Mr. White, one of the three-thousand ubiquitous faces of Pudite diplomacy, was sitting quietly behind his desk, his computer screen folded up out of the desk and the surface itself covered with various dossiers and field reports. Standing in the small office before him there was Foreign Personnel Officer Mr. Grey, as well as Field Marshal Starik Gribanov, the head of the Pudite Military Arms Surplus Distribution Division. This meeting regarded the recent rise in GASN and CA hostilities following the war...

Mr. White spoke first, "As you two most assuredly know, recent hostilities between Global Alliance nations and Corporate Alliance nations has escalated, following the war we all remember... This is why I've brought you here."

Field Marshal Gribanov interrupted, "Sir, am I the only man here that recognizes this as a most excellent opportunity to make a profit? Our weapons are old, but they're cheap, and indeed some of our ships are brand-new! Market this to the-"

He was cut off, by Mr. White, "Gribanov, I understand this, but do we not already have a surplus in that respect, we must take a more active role in this matter..."

Mr. Grey spoke up, stepping forward into the conversation, "I remind both of you, we're not members of either alliance..."

Mr. White turned to his counterpart, "Yes, but must I remind you of the wars that have been fought against the Global Alliance nations, wars in which our soldiers marched alongside those of the Corporates. We are allies of the alliance, we shouldn't let them down now, and these favors may be useful later."

Grey nodded to this, understanding, and White continued, "So, I propose that for now we sit back, observing," he nodded in the direction of Field Marshal Gribanov, "But in the future, I remind you, we have a pair of highly effective and deadly light operations forces, and can put at least a thousand men on any beach on earth in six hours... Just remember this in times to come..."

"This will be a Cold War..."

Chairman Alexance sat at the end of a long darkwood table, thirteen men sat to his left and theirteen sat to his right.
"As part of the GASN it is our duty to become more involved. What could the international community possibly think?" Borric Almanad said in tones of outrage. The Director of Foreign Relations was upset with the lack of Uldarion involvement in GASN affairs.

"I think you fail to comprehend, my good Borric. It is not wise to get too tied down in international affairs unless necesary and so far the Corporate Alliance have proven themselves to be nothing but mere annoyances," Sumarr Talchion said in his whispery monotone.

"They invaded two GASN nations and we did nothing," Lilth Marisosal put in.

"We have already had that discussion, we were not militarily in a position of optimal strength then. We still aren't. We could fight, but our military is still lacking in several key areas." Tasai Nukura responded.

"We don't need to worry, the Corporate Alliance does not menace us, they are like a swarm of vicious insects. The GASN will deal with them in time, should they overstep their bounds," Ulmar Tanrild said dimissively.

"Insects can kill, if they came at us in great enough numbers..." Tsubain Nodorad said with a shrug.

Alexance rubbed his eyelids, the discussion had bounced back and forth for hours.

"That isn't something I would worry about too much, the Great Shield and Hydra networks will deal with the brunt of any attacks on any of our shores, harbours or anyware else they may assault us from. We are isolated from friends and foe by the sea and for us this is a good thing," Tasai said and locked his fingers together.

"In fact, I don't see why we need even be part of an alliance that puts us in danger rather than helping us.
I think maybe our time in the Global Alliance of Soverign Nations should be at an end," Sarome Jeharah said with a wry grin on her doll's face.

"No. We stand with the Alliance and that is final," Alexance spoke, and there was no question of objection. "Should they require our help Uldarious shall give it, it's because we are so secure that we must help those of the alliance who are not.
I think now we need to see ourselves as an enemy of the Corporate Alliance, not just another power. It is a sort of non-aggressive war that is in place. If we allowed non-allied foreigners in Uldarious I'd order them removed, but as it is, the only foreigners we allow inside our borders are allied nations and trade partners. So we are secure yes?" Alexance asked.

"We are, now about that special weapon order..." Morrizar Alciel responded.

"No reply yet, but that could be technical difficulties," Chaarom Jagid answered.

Jack Phoenixclaw sat in his office, literally twidling his thumbs as a television showed news footage from around the world. War, war, war, that was almost all that was on there, and he was proud to know that at least one he was directly responsible for, and another his corporation was involved in. He spun around in his chair to a water cooler, took out a cup, and poured a glass of water before recling back. "This is the life" he thought to himself as he looked out the window of his office at the life of Paradise City below him.

Tiberius Griffincrest sat in his office, several floors above him, looking out a window towards the opposite end of the building. From his window, he had a perfect view of Paradise Harbor, and out just a little farther he could make out the outline of his sprawling mansion on the Corporate Island. He began to dose off when a secretary buzzed in. "Mister Griffincrest sir, you have a message" the girl said on the other end of the intercom. "Send it in" Tiberius groaned.

A slender young girl, rather attractive, walked in holding a tape. "Put it in for me, will you Felicia" he said. The secretary obeyed, walkin gover to a VCR and sliding in the tape. Suddenly, it seemed as if an entire wall of his office sprang to life as a video from his friends in the Leafanistani mafia began playing. After a few minutes it was over. "Felicia, contact them. Find out how much it would cost to replace our current stockpile of trucks."

After that, Tiberius thought for alittle bit of what his father might do in the situation. He wished, like a few others in the building, that his father was back.

Prime Minister Randolph sat at his desk, across from a pacing Secreatary of War, Four Star General Franco Farrelle. "This will not work!," exclaimed General Farrelle out of frustration. "The Central Command Corps will never approve! Nor will the Royal Court, or even the Congressional Cheif for that matter!" Prime Minister Randolph looked at Farrelle unphased. "The CCC already has, the Royal Court disagrees but there is nothing they can honestly do, for the Congressional Cheif has approved it. I'm sorry, but it is completely approved. Now, I suggest you digest that and have your men talk strategy-", but the Prime Minister was cut off. Farrelle began, "Why Minister, why? What have we to gain, by attempting to take out some random officials from random countries?" Randolph began, "you know as well as I, General. These countries aren't random. They are directly involved in GASN objectives. If some high ranking officials could be taken out, or captured," he was quick to chime in the last statement, "then we may be seen as a more capable nation in the eyes of the international community. And yes, even the eyes of the CA, and our new enemies, the GASN themselves." Farrelle responded swiftly, "so you go behind the CA's back? If the mission is a success, then hoorah for you, but if the mission is a complete failure, and UES lives are lost, then... THEN... THEN what?" Farrelle became increasingly angry as he spoke. "I assure you, general, that with our "professional's" assistence, and undoubtably your brilliance, it won't fail."

After a awkward silence, the General spoke. "Very well," he murmered. "I see you aren't giving up on this. Our finest, the E-SCAO units, they will be sent in with C-SCAO support. We will scout landing sights with our SR-71's and our newly installed Sattellites. We will be sure to work out the details as soon as possible." Randolph smiled lightly, then handed the General a manilla envelope. "All that could be done without you has been. Of course, it requires your OK, General." The General opened the envelope. The first page had loads of size 10 font covering the entirety of it. He scimmed through the rest of the pages briefly, containing maps and pictures of various people. He caught one name as he flipped through, however. It read: TARGET ALPHA: Tsubain Nodorad, ULDERIUN DECENT (ULDERIUN OFFICIAL...) The rest of the page was filled with details about the man, the place, and other men, most Ulderiun officials.

(OOC: I chose Uldarious at random. Sorry if you don't want to be my targets. However, just know that I plan on having atleast a partial mission failure...

And with that, thousands upon thousands of pounds of Whiplash, the extremely addictive designer drug out of Portland, were being loaded onto ships. Some boxes were being hidden in secret cargo holds on massive cargo ships, others loaded on to quick little cigarette boats, and some drugs even being transported in people. The destination for these drugs was the various nationsthat comprised the GASN. Tyrone had hoped that he may be able to flood the streets of one of the more powerful nations, not only weakening their people, but also giving his Corporate Alliance affiliated gang a foothold in GASN turf.

He looked underneath the seat along the right side of his standing room, and smiled. An RPG-7 was sitting there, and next to it, a green box containing several different types of warheads. Right next to him lay both an Uzi and a CFR-06 Economy Assault Rifle. He was more than ready to die, but to him that was unlikely. He popped another pill into his mouth, and then gunned it over the waves towards the nearest Wanderjarian port.

The board room was a buzz with the development of this Cold war setting between the CA and the GASN. Member of the board having mixed views on which side to support if the cold warm ever had a chance on heating up. Colderon always kept a cool head about world problems and the political turmoil it can bring.

" Colderon the World is going to expect us to make our stand with a side. We can appear to be to weak and side CA, but we also can appear to be arrogant and join the GASN... what do you propose?" asked one of the Board members as stood up and slammed his fist into the table

Colderon only slowly looked up and eyed the board member who slammed his fist. His eyes where a natural red color that could cut holes into someones soul.

" You are to old for this job board member, It may be time for your retirement, as I can see the stress is getting to you. " said Colderon as he pressed a button on his console which summoned the guarding SF from outside.

The door swung open and the SF came in with arms raised pointing them at the Board member. And with their dark voices they spoke to him saying

" Board member Robert Craver, you are here by fired!" as hey finished the pumped 5 rounds into him killing him.

The rest of the Board room got quite and they all looked at Colderon....

" We are a Corporation, we go where the almighty dollar takes us. It the GASN looks to have the more profitable then we side with them, And Vise versa. We side with whoever has the most money and then we use them until that money source runs dry then we go to the next! That Ladies and gentlemen is what we do."

A message went back, it showed a detailed list of armies in the CA and how many trucks could be replaced. Finally a number at the bottom of the page: $1.6 billion per year, which includes progressive construction and the sale of production rights to ensure within 7-10 years that the entire truck fleet would be replaced with HT-50s.

It showed a much smaller number for the upgrade of the Mafia fleet, and finally some example numbers for other armies.

"Ayo Ty, check dis shit out" Jamal Williams yelled from the couch in his small apartment. Before him, a piece of junk TV cast light out over the whhole room. On it was members of the Corporate Alliance, speaking about problems and falling outs with the GASN.

"We gotta stick wit our boys Ty, watchu wanna do?"

"Shit nigga, somthin"

And with that, thousands upon thousands of pounds of Whiplash, the extremely addictive designer drug out of Portland, were being loaded onto ships. Some boxes were being hidden in secret cargo holds on massive cargo ships, others loaded on to quick little cigarette boats, and some drugs even being transported in people. The destination for these drugs was the various nationsthat comprised the GASN. Tyrone had hoped that he may be able to flood the streets of one of the more powerful nations, not only weakening their people, but also giving his Corporate Alliance affiliated gang a foothold in GASN turf.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jose Ruiz, a twenty-seven year old hispanic smuggler for the kings sped towards Wanderjarian waters. His sleek cigarette boat was most likely able to outrun whatever their coast guard had to throw at him, save for fighter jets or helicopters, but if they came..well, he was prepared.

The nearest Wanderjarian Port, to which he would have had access to, was Ustka, which, like all Wanderjarian Sea Ports, was heavily guarded by the Coast Guard.

Aside from a select few nations, ships from any other nation had to under go a strict check of their identifications in order to enter Wanderjarian waters, and as soon as they docked, would have to be overviewed by the Feldpolizei (Field Police). When the Cigarette Boat mysteriously entered their waters, a gun boat immediately hailed the ship, signaling it to stop.

"This is Captain Johann Alexsii. By order of Wanderjarian Maritime Law, I request you to stop and state your purpose of entry, your ships manifest, and its place of origin."

Jose saw the boat and did what he was used to doing. He gunned the boat full throttle on a line parrallel with international waters so that at anytiem he could easily just pop back out of Wanderjarian water, and then just wait around for an opening.

He was so high that he did not even know how fast he was going. After hitting each wave his boat would fly nearly 15 feet in the air, and land with a heavy thud rattling everything on the craft. Even louder then the engine, however, was Jose's sound system, which was blasting, rather ironically,99 problems by Jay-Z.

Hmmm, you may make the attempt but just remember you don't know a whole lot about my country.
I am going to suggest that you choose an easier target.
My nation's populous is...quite xenophobic to say the least and rather paranoid of foreigners (The reason for this was a nuklear attack that happened some years ago on the city of Illistar.)
Foreigners have a habit of sticking out you see, although foreigners from trade partners are allowed in coastal cities and in the city of Vulth for diplomats.
Anyware else and the intruder will be locked and and questioned quite severely, in a capital the punishment is instant death.

Uldarious is also a sort of police state/ utalitarian nation, police officers are found often and they are well armed and every provincial capital city has a heavy military garrison.

The average temperture is semi-arctic also, just on a sidenote so your team is well equipped.
Also remember my nation is very tight on security and is PMT so it would be very hard to get through our territorial waters alone.
My navy is the weakest branch of my military, I'll give you that, but it still has the manpower to police my waters.

Also remember my nation has many widescale genetic enhancements, it was made compulsory from birth by Alexance's father, who was slightly insane and VERY egotistical and believed "all the Children of Uldarious are to be a higher breed." These genetic enhancements are passed down through the generations though strogner ones to become diluted.
Of course usually these genetic enhancements are not signifigant, mainly just more acute sense and improved speed, strength and motor skills as well as inmcreased resilence to disease and temperature.
It is only the rich men and police/soldiers/government personnel who get the major enhancements.

If you are detrermined to go along with this plan then know that it is actually all but impossible for a foreigner to enter Crytosis-Ulth, the capital without direct and public permission from the Chairman himself.
However Tsubain is the Provincial Supervisor of Illustrom, an eastern province.
All the High Administration Council (Chairman, Directors and Supervisors) meet once a month in Crytosis-Ulth for the rest of the month they are found in the Governing Citadel in each provincial capital or at their homes.

Also remember that a portion of my military are children raised from birth to fight, these are called the Children of Uldarious.
That is about all you could have found out from investigation.

SECRET IC:
SCENE: Fort HALO (13:40 hours)
A detachment of SCS Marines were undergoing the latest upload and training exercizes. They ran one of the hardest challanges that the Shazbotdom Marine Corps could throw at them. A skyscraper (makeshift one) was being overrun by terrorists. There was an unknown number of tango's (actual number is up near 75) and the team of 5 SCS Marines was the only ones that were to go in. They would coordinate their attacks using a local 456kb encrypyed wi-fi network built into their suits.

It normally takes a group of 5 SpecOps Marines roughly around 35 minutes to clear out the entire building going floor by floor. But with the SCS Marines entering at different access points, they were running it with an estimated finishing time of 10 minutes. Almost 350% faster than the SpecOps Marines could ever dream of.

"SCS 1132. Move in, take out targets. Non-lethal fire only." Was heard over the communications network as one of the SCS Marines stepped out around the corner and unloaded into a crowd of terrorists. The ammo in the weapons were exchanged for paint ammo. He fired into the crowd using his XR-01 "Crimson" Battlerifle. pulling the trigger over and over again as the three shot bursts exploded out of the gun. Each of the targets got hit with at least one bullet into their arms, which is precision targeting for any military officer. The terrorists dropped their weapons as they grabbed their arms in mock pain from getting shot. This scene payed out all over the mock building as the SCS Marine finished their job in 10 minutes, 32 seconds. The fastest yet for the SCS Marine project.

Training exercises like this were occuring throughout the day at Fort HALO military base. George had a first hand view of this from his office at the Imperial Palace using the onboard camera's built into each of the SCS Marines helmets. He saw their tactics first hand as they cleared the building.

SCENE: Shazbotdom Imperial Palace
George shut off the monitors that had the video from the camera's built into the SCS Marines helmets. He turned to the Joint Chiefs of Staff and saw the expression on their faces. He chuckled as he knew what they were thinking.

George: "So gentlmen. What do you think?"

Larry looked over to George: "Well, sir. All i gotta say is that the money we have pushed into the SCS Program has paid off in a big way. Who would have guessed that in only 10 years the program would have evolved enough that they could beat the worst senerio that the Marine Corps could think of that quickly."

James: "Well Larry. Thats what you get for pushing a great military. I would give myself props but it's not just me. It's all the men under my command that made this possible."

George: "Alright. Enough of that. So what is this I hear about a renewed Corporate Alliance threat?"

Charrel looked around and then spoke up: "Sir. I've heard through the news media in many nations that the Corporate Alliance has begin a mass buildup of their forces. I am not sure what this means for the G.A.S.N. at this point but I must stress that the saftey of the nation is at stake."

Ken: "We have feelings that they are going to try and sneak in some unwanted elements. The Imperial Aviation Administration has begun a lock down of all air traffic in minor airports. The only way in and out of the nation is through the designated International Airports in Shaz City, Joliet, Berwin, Romeoville, and Thompson."

James: "And i've stationed one Marine Special Operations division at each of those airports as extra security. They will run checks on all baggage and passports from every passanger comming into the airports. Either from the city or from flights flying in."

Charrel: "We've also recieved reports that the Shazbotdom Colonies of Alraibris, Bolrasha and Halnara are initiating the same procedures at their International Airports. With the Shazbotdom Marine Corps Special Forces units there covering those airports."

Larry looked around the room and got up, walking over to the window that overlooked Century Park. It was beautiful. He then began to speak, "We've fought for our freedom many times over. Fought many battles against foes stronger and weaker than us. We will not let a group of thugs try to quell the equality that we have worked so hard for. We've made this city, and this nation, a beautiful place. Full of ethnic diversity, equality, and understanding. We will not let those members of the Corporate Alliance try to force us back into the dark ages where the nation is run by a closed fist instead of an open hand." He then turned towards Charrel, "Prepare a press conference. I will speak to those people and our allies in the international community tomarrow at 2:00pm."

Charrel: "Understood sir."

Larry: "Alright. This meeting is over. I suggest that you all go home to your families. Tomarrow is going to be a busy day."

While in his office Colderon got the news of the Shaz. Press conference that was planned. The news was not suprising as there was going to be more and more as the setting continued. Colderon took the reports and waved of the secretary as he looked them over. Both sides building up their froces and putting themsleves on high alerts status. It was like a ticking time bomb, Just waiting for the tmer to go off. but who would be the timer, who would set off the bomb that woud plung the world into chaos and hell.... Colderon only had a twinkle in hs eye. His office so lowly lite that the red lights that boarded the roof gave no shadows from objects and the T.V screens on the wall where not even enough to make much of any shadows on the more distant objects like the trees in the corners of his office that no one knew about. Colderon read the reports and reached back for a glass of Kornosian Blood wine. He loved its thicker texture then normal wine.

But not all was quite in his office today. He had reports that the units inthe Galations area had ceased all hostilites. This did not please him. Colderon gve to recall order and ordered allforce to stand at ready.

As Colderon Sipped on his glass he eyed the reports of the griffincrest Corporation. The room was dark and the scene omnious as the Dark figure of Agies... Colderons right hand assassin apeared behind him.

" I hope you found what I was looking for Agies." said Colderon as he placed the glass down

" Yes, I have found it, but I dont have the man power to retreive it."
replied Agies

" Then find the man power ! I dont like failure Agies, Falure means moneylost and money lost is bad..." said Colderon as he turned around letting Agies see his eyes.

" Get what I want or I will kill you for payment!"

" Yes sir, " rplied agies as he turn to leave

" Oh and Agies... Please do tell the Xantias garrison to piant off any marking to us on the Retired Talon fleet and send it to open waters." Said Agies
as he urned back around

" Of course" repliedAgies as he walked away.

Encrypted Message to all Corporate Alliance states

War. What does that mean for us? For the smaller states, that means pretty much utter destruction as their SKSs, Enfields and AK-47s are crushed under the mighty GASN war machine. For the larger states, their G36s and the AR-550 will still be crushed beneath the wheels of superior vehicles.

First and foremost, we must not be the instigators of conflict with the GASN, our search for allies will be hampered by us starting a conflict. Therefore, I propose a person who openly instigates conflict with the GASN, be immediately disassociated. We must bide our time and coordinate.

Secondly, we have to do a massive census of our military power and our equipment. This goes to every state and organization in the CA to make a full list of our military capability, and we shall go about improving it.

We make our AK-47s for AR-550 program evidence of that. While the AR-550 lacks the force of the 7.62mm, the sheer number of rounds, and the fact that many of our soldiers aren't exactly top of the line, requires a rifle designed for that fact.

Thirdly, we must begin recruitment of members and become a legitimate alliance. While we have free and open trade between alliance members, we must be more enticing and lose the evil image. This includes exploiting the GASN's name. "Global Alliance of Socialist Nations". We'll label them commies, warmongers who wish to spread their idealism across the world via that insidious alliance. We must reinforce that capitalism is the true path and that the GASN is nothing but a tool of an organization dedicated to the assembly of a 'World Government', so that all of Earth is subjugated beneath them, and every man, woman and child will be exactly the same, born the same, bred the same, indoctrinated the same, and will die the same, their sickening 'absolute' equality in their 'Socialist Paradise'.

We can tout ourselves as a free trade alliance, as liberators. If Griffencrest can get a list of nation's the CA has completely subjugated we can make up lies about the former government, as dictatorial and highly oppressive. And if anyone asks about our members, we point fingers right back at the GASN for their oppression of capitalism and their stoic socialist path. We must reinforce the idea that our nations and organizations will change toward kindness, and the rampant dictatorships in our alliance will eventually change, at least to Father Knows Best States.

Fourthly, covert activity must be conducted. We must gather intelligence, full detailed maps, and plan every offensive in advance with strategy beyond 'run at them and shoot our guns a bunch'. We must support organizations against communism, but we have to ensure that they aren't too oppressive ourselves.

Gaining new members may boil down to a public relations war, and we must be masters of rhetoric.

Finally, we must reinforce our current positions, slowly accumulate arms, replace our older vehicles with new ones, starting yesterday with the release of the HT-50 to replace vulnerable trucks.

In short:

* Don't Start Shit
* Census of military (OOC: Post your military stats and I'll work with you to fix them)
* Fix our military (see above)
* Reinvent ourselves (Be friendly)
* Lie about others
* Secretly observe and fuck up their Shit
* Look damn good

Cincinnati Jones

It was ordered to build a massive defence network to try and deter any potential invasion. The Corporation was donating heavily to this project with both slaves and monetary funds. As the large naval defence guns of the Clandonian Artilery looked across over the bay, this was the start of Clandonias Cold War.

Anway..

London
Porrington Street

The black van pulled up outside the street, followed by a second. Richard Underbridge opened one eye and lay back in his bed. He watched the lights in the distance of London change rapidly and he could hear the radiatiors hum and the occasional strobe of light through his window. Light pollution, he thought, was an invention of the capitalist, designed to keep the working man awake at night. He could swear he heard the noise of a van, the screech of worn rubber on old tarmac, the clank of the door as it swung open and the soft footsteps of the crack Counter Insurgency Storm Team, the flashing of the sunglasses of the antai agents, the secret police. He discarded them, mainly because he could swear he heard them every night, and because in a city the size of London there are more wheels than feet, at night at least. Especially when the curfew was active.

Underbridge rolled over, adjusted his rough sheets, and closed his eyes. As soon as his eyes had shut, his door was smashed down in one violent move, sending splinters flying across the room. He tried to look around, but there was a flash and his ears were ringing, he could barely make out the intruders. His eyes stung and he tried to wipe away the imprint upon them, but failed. The next thing he knew was he was being bundled into what he thought may have been something like a bin bag and dragged down the stairs, smacking his head somewhat. Shit, he thought to himself. He'd been captured, and it wasn't even a glorious last stand either. Temporarily blinded, captured by government stormtrooeprs, and bundled away into a van in the middle of the night. The next morning his "body" would be found floating in the Thames. Richard Underbridge, leader of the Questarian Socialist Internationalist Revolutionary Movement, was officially pronounced dead by government infiltrators in the health service. According to the postmortem, he had drowned to death after jumping into the river to avoid being caught out after curfew.

30 miles out of London,
Shelton Detention Centre

Underbridge awoke to the blinding flash of the high powered lamp shining in his eyes. "You bastards" he mumbled. "I'll never talk."

"Oh, really." The antai agent, standing in the darkness, spoke softly in clipped upper class Questarian. Richard could immediately tell it was behind a voice deceiver.

"Can't you talk face to face you capitalist bastard?" Richard spat towards where he thought the voice was coming from. A split second later, he could feel a sharp pain in his legs as the antai torturer smashed his kneecap with a piece of wood with a nail crudely hammered into it. When it came to torture, the secret service didn't mess around with any fancy gimmicks. Underbridge cried out and screamed as he could feel his kneecap smash with the second blow and the splinters embed themselves into his skin, the nail driving once more into the bone.

"Now now, play nicely, and I'm sure we'll get along." the voice shot back, ever calmly. "I already told you" Richard managed to grunt through the pain. "I'll never talk." A moment later he passed out as the drug flowed through his veins from the machine he was wired up to.

Underbridge awoke on a bed, and he could look around, but strangely could not feel his body.

"I see you're awake." A voice, central Questarian with perhaps a tint of North in it spoke up.

"Who the fuck are you?" The room was dark - the only time Underbridge would ever see light is from the torturers lamp.

"Don't worry, I'm not one of them." The man continued. His voice was frail and old. "Let me introduce myself. I'm Ampus Karanasky, I worked as a government scientists during the Great Patriotic War." he breathed deep again. "It was in this very building I and my team conducted the testing. I saw the sort of things no man should ever see, heard that which no mortal shall ever hear, and felt anger and guilt like no man can imagine. We were part of Unit Fourty-seven three." Underbridge was going to say something, but he felt the pang of tiredness that was evident in this mans voice, and could tell he was being sleep deprived, probably by drugs. "I... we" he shifted the blame. "we conducted tests on biological warfare - a big project of the governments that was going to end the war. A biological weapon we could immunise our troops to and unleash on the enemy. It would have absolutely wiped them out. There would be no stopping us, the aim was a weapon that could salt the lands of Juumanistra so that nothing could ever grow again, a weapon that did not distuingish between good and evil or innocent and guilty. It was called..." the man strained his memory. "It was called Virus 31. We almost had it too. Thankfully the program was pulled after the King died and we lost all support. It would have killed billions." He sighed. "The tests... I... what's the bloody point. They can hear me, I know it. I'm a dead man anyway. Noone escapes Shelton alive... not even pregnant women or down syndrome 'patients.'"

Underbridge didn't say anything.

"After the war I began to speak out against the previous government nad its crimes. I was listened to, I was hailed for my assaults on King William. Of course, when the coup happened..." He sighed once more. "I tried to escape. I knew I wouldn't last a second with these nationalist wackos in control. God knows, that Fieldingham, he's mad. He has to be stopped. He'll probably invade Juumanistra again. I was on the border south, just sorting out my emigration cards, when they arrested me. I've been here three weeks. I don't know what they want out of me."

Underbridge paused and even in the padded cell could hear the jingle of keys outside.

"They're here. They're here to take me. Damnit, I hope they kill me. All this waiting... I want to see what happens when you die. I've been wondering for sixty years, and I've been planning how I'll explain myself for what I did. You will probably never see me again. Theyll probably kill you to. But don't tell them a damn thing. Freedom isn't free." the old man spat out the government patriotic slogan like some kind of uncooked meat. The doors opened, and men in black came in to wheel the old man away on his belt. He lay his head down peacefully, and the door was locked back on Underbridge. Later, he would swear he could hear, through the padded cell, the four inch titanium door and the silent corridors, the hollowpoint 10mm auto round that finished Ampus Karanasky's life.

~

"What the fuck do you want from me?" Richard tried to double over in pain, though his restraints from the strait jacket and the chair stopped him. The pain was back, surging through his body like a lightning bolt. The torturer had just smashed his toes in with a sledgehammer.

For the sixth time.

"What do we want from you?" The interrogator - which, for all Richard knew, could have been a totally different person, as this voice deceiver was very efficient - said.

"Since we've given you a ... taster, of what we are capable of, we will inform you of your requirements. You will publically announce you are a corporate alliance spy spying on important naval information. Secondly, you will announce you are a communist trying to usurp our government."

"I've already done the second. I did it with pride."

"Are you a spy?" The interrogator asked, ignoring Richard's response.

"No. I'm bloody well not." As soon as Underbridge announced this, the baseball bat reigned down on his face, caving his nose in and turning it into a bloody mess. It sort of collapsed, bone giving way to the second blow and blood and bone matter splattered over the floor and Underbridges face.

"Are you a spy?" The interrogator asked again. Richard did not respond, so his fingers, which had been placed in thumb screws, were slowly crushed one by one. Again, Richard did not confirm he was a spy. He was not actually a spy, he had never been abroad. Although the torturer was well trained - part of some Doomingsland-Questers relationship program, and INSICE had a decent relationship with the Doomani inquisition, but training, brutality, and fervousness cannot break sheer will power. Sheer will power, however, is limited by personality, and every personality can be broken. The antai and INSICE have, however, a very alarming tendency do break people before they break their will power.

Their methods are crude and brutal - they are, despite the high death rate, extremely efficient. Underbridge was cracked in two days - his scrotum was wrapped in toilet paper and set on fire, he drank human waste, his back was carved with sandpaper and cheese graters, but he gave in to the drill, the drill poised to go right through his teeth. He appeared on television, admitted to being a spy for the corporate alliance and for assassinating Admiral Jacobs (who was actually also a dissident). The next day, he was taken out to the back of the chemical shed, an INSICE agent put a bullet through the back of his head, and his body was buried in a chemical landfill. Underbridge ceased to exist, his few assets were taken by INSICE and his identity taken by SITES, so that an agent could use his death at some point to infiltrate some country, albeit with a different name. Richard Underbridge was just one of 150,000 people, mainly dissidents, although a good number were spies, that were killed by INSICE and the antai in that month alone.

Encrypted to Corporate Alliance

I'm sure by now we've all heard the propaganda, so we have to ignore them. No response, no answer, let them ask first.

The problem and advantage of secret services are that we can never acknowledge, which means anyone they shoot is guilty until proven innocent.

If they ask, say we don't care for whatever witchhunt whatever no name nation is doing at that time.

At the same time, we'll have to coordinate, first, we drop the price of cocaine. Its street price is currently $150,000 per kilo, that gives us around a 17,000% profit, we can easily take a drop to 25,000 per kilo, flooding the market with cheap cocaine, putting domestic producers out of business, and encouraging many to pick up the habit, and then we raise the price gradually.

The damage to their economy and the loss of our competitors in the cocaine market will result in a victory for us. Imagine millions addicted, no work being done, so much money spent toward us war coffers.

We've already dropped our prices to absurdly low.

Good god man! How in the world am I supposed to even get into your nation, much less take out a ultra political leader? Hmm... perhaps there is a easier target somewhere...

So, do any GASN nations wish to be a target of an assassination attempt? Any takers at all?

George stood just outside the door to the throne room. Ready to give his press conference. The actual throne had been pushed back roughly 20 foot to make way for the podium that would take it's place. The over 2,000 seats in the room were filled with reporters from all across the world. He watched on a small closed circuit camera monitor to see that they all were anxious for his arrival, talking amoungst themselves. There was 5 minutes before the schedualed time for the press conference to start. He looked over the notes he had written out and then glanced back over to the monitor.

OOC: I have an odd request. Does someone want to assassinate my Prime Minister? Keeping up with his annoying personality is quite frustrating, and I'm having trouble making the UES do what I want it to do and making it something that Prime Minister Randolph would actually do. A nation can claim Randolph is too aggressive, or really anything, and send a top secret man or small team to kill him in public (preferably, so my people can actually see it done). My top secret government forces will find out "who done it" and try to track down your assassins before they exit the country. You can then make your assassins get tracked down and killed, they can go free, heck, you can make one a double crosser who soccumbs to my bribery, I really don't care. But one condition is that the only people who know that a country on the other side of the "Iron Curtain", (more likely "Corprate Curtain" in this cold war,) are your government and my government. I will blame the shooting on some random whacko, even though my government will know full well what happened, and your government will find out I know you did it, but they will not publicly claim responsibility, for the good of both our nations.

A group of communists entered The United Ed States, armed with CT-3 plastic pistols. Provided secretly by the Mafia which the communists knew as 'Contact V' they were aiming for a press conference scheduled two weeks from then.

They were going to gun down the Prime Minister in cold blood, and for all they knew, it was for communism's sake. They were told other revolutionaries would execute other important officials and start a revolution. All lies, just a ploy to execute the annoying Prime Minister Randolph, who stood in the way of CA advancement.

The day of the press conference, the men tucked their Marxian propaganda books into their pockets. They armed themselves and left for the press conference. The night before they had kidnapped and murdered a local news team and had stolen their truck.

The van drove down the street, each of the assassins cocking their guns. They each carried two and planned to use them akimbo. The main guy was combing his hair and adjusting his tie.

The lead man was going to pretend to be a reporter, and the others were to pretend to be a cameraman and a sound guy. They planned for a triangle formation to form 3 intersecting lines of fire.

They arrived, the Prime Minister was leaving and they moved in. Each one fingered a gun in their pocket, and was ready to drop their microphone/camera/sound boom and pick up the other gun.

The lead man moves his microphone in, and as the Prime Minister prepares to answer his first question the lead man drops his microphone and as the Prime Minister looks down on it, the lead man pulls out his gun and says, "Capitalist Scum".

The others drop their things, and dozens of caseless rounds pour toward the Prime Minister, guards and anyone nearby.

Three rounds smack into Randolph's chest. Blood drips all over the podium. His body falls on the stage floor. People scream. Two Secret Servicemen nearby are immediatly hit, and another spectator, nearby in the first row, is hit. "WE HAVE A CODE RED!!! EXECUTE EMERGENCY PROCEDURE NUMBER 2!!!," is screamed over the Secret Service walkie talkies. Immediatly, 4 secret service men run out from behind the stage and jump on top of Randolph's body, sheilding him from further assault. Another four return fire from stage right and stage left. Frantic orders were being screamed over the government security walkie talkies. Soon, 10 security officials piled onto the stage. As one covered them with a Uzi, the rest dragged the Prime Minister's carcass off stage, along with any other important figures on stage. Cheif Security Official of the event, Captain G. Bernard, screamed over the radio, "cover exit B! They will be sure to get out that way! The man guarding it is already dead!" People were taking cover under tables and chairs, as bullets flew around them.

Once the Prime Minister's body was dragged off stage, local police as well as secret service came running in through the main entrance, across from the stage. They carried everything from shotguns to sidearms to a few M-16's. As the UES security stormed the audience, the Prime Minister's body was dragged through a dimly lit understage corridor, until they hit daylight, where a armored car with an 8 police car escort was waiting to meet the. He was thrown inside, and away the convoy went. A helicopter would meet them at the near by airport, and take them to the first hospital available. Little did they know that the Prime Minister had died within 2 seconds of the first shot. Meanwhile, all the security could do was fire into the audience, possible killing innocents. Captain Bernard screamed at the Local Police Cheif, "They have only two options. They either stay and get wiped out by our men, or they exit through one of the back doors. I want this city closed down completely, even if we do catch, on case there is more of them, ok? Right now though, all we can do is wait to see what these guys do." The Police Cheif nodded and ran off.

The entire city went into lockdown. Air passages were cancled. The roads were closed. The only people coming in were police and military. And, the entire area within 5 blocks of the shootout was closed off, and considered a war zone.

They fired at the secret service men as they drag him away.

"Viva La Revolution"

And with that, they were promptly all mowed down by the Secret Servicemen, as their last act, the lead man, detonates a 3 kilogram C12 charge in the camera.

One was given the simple task of breaking a terrorist out of a concentration camp, he was spotted swimming away from his objective in a suit jacket, babbling incoherently, and later shot himself.

Tiberius didn't get to meet with many of the foreigners, and so was kind of excited when the news came in that he got to see a foreign official. He quickly tossed on one of his best suits, and ran to his driver. "Take me to Paradise City Intl. Airport" he said excitedly. He finally felt like he was a businessman, he had a real meeting!

The driver sped up to the main terminal, and Tiberius and a bodyguard exited the car and walked in, waiting for the Mafia official to arrive.

The plane landed and a man with a heavy beard, sunglasses, trench coat, and fedora. He was flanked by Mafia guards, with heavy armour and G36 rifles.

The man walked up to Tiberius and hugged him, but didn't let go.

"BlackOps" Special Forces troops flanked the airport, inspecting bags of anyone who didn't look like they normally came through there and checking their names on the international bounty/warrant list. Temporary Barracks were established in a hotel that was commandeered less than 24 hours ago for the saftey of the Dark Empire. They had detained a few people who looked suspicious so far and released those that checked out as from allied nations or nations that had to ill feelings towards the Dark Empire.

Although several people were to go to trial due to warrants being against them in some of the Shazbotdom Colonies and/or the allies of the Dark Empire of Shazbotdom. They were to be held on trial over the next few days until it was decided what was to happen to them. If they were to be extradited for their crimes or just left on and island in the middle of no where that would be used for nuclear testing in the near future.

GLOBAL IC:
OFFICIAL IMPERIAL PROCLIMATION
TO: The Leadership of the Nations of the World
FROM: George A. Loak, Supreme Emperor of the Dark Empire of Shazbotdom

As we have noticed, there is a massive buildup of Corporate Alliance forces. Under Article 8, Section 12, SubSection 32 of the Shazbotdom Imperial Marine Corps code, I have authorised the "BlackOps" Special Forces to be used as a peacekeeping force to protect the Dark Empire from foreign aggression. Please make sure that any civilians comming in and out of the Dark Empire have the nessicary passports, birth cirtificates, and other forms of governmental documentaion and identification to make their passing through the new security checkpoints as easy as possible.

I urge all national leaders to recognise these new regulations for travel in and out of the Dark Empire of Shazbotdom and to warn your civilians about these new regulations as they will cause major headaches if they are not followed. I wouldn't want to have people arrested for being ignorant and not following our rules.

Thank you for your time and have a nice day.

Official Clandonian Response

A Press Statement to the World...

Following the hostile build up of GASN forces and following discussions with the Clandonian Corporation we have decided to increase our alert level to three and increase our global forces alert status.

Following discussions we are now protecting with Commander Dridons fleet the small company of 8th Street Kings. If any hostile actions are done against them then Clandonia will defend them. Furthermore if any actions of a hostile intent are placed upon any Clandonian assets globally then I have authorised the full force of the military to be used.

All across the garrisons of the Clandonian Empire men were getting ready, reserves were called up to be given kit and ammo. Tanks were massing on the Southern Coast and artilery units incase the socialist enemy the GASN tried to invade Clandonia from the channel. Griffencrest forces had arrived now and were setting up base. Aircraft were now on regular patrol over the nation in large formations. The Corporation had now four divisions of its specialist project XY soldiers, ready for deployment where the fight took them next...

((I just skimmed the thread real quick, and LMFAO you're trying to make us look like socialists? I'm a capitalizt nation for Christ's sake, and like Matt said he's pretty anti-Commie. I will be pumping out some anti-fascist propoganda later, though, for fun.

I just noticed how hard it is to type with a cut. =/ This may take a while.

PS: I have not the time nor effort to devote myself to a full scale conflict. Between school, possible work, parties, band practices, and women I've little time on my hands for RPing. Of course I'll never stop RPing, but I'll be around less and less.))

Imperial Palace
Cravna, Cravan

Snow gently fell upon the Imperial City as the sun went down, the Emperor sitting in the Imperial Office and reading through the night's intelligence reports. A few members of the cabinet also remained in the office, reviewing the day's events.

"... And it also appears Clandonia is making moves to reinforce themselves..."

The Emperor dropped the paper and rubbed his face out of frustration.

"When will they stop being such dicks? We're not going to make the first strike, so they might as well just spend their money more effectively."
"Matt, they're paranoid. You know that. They have the founding nation of the GASN just to the south. Of course they're going to be worried."
"True, but still..."
"And the fact they've got our defense fleet breathing down their necks doesn't help."

The Emperor simply sighed, and threw the report into the trash bin beside his desk.

"Fuck them... They can deplete their resources on defenses they don't need. As long as Divine Shield is up and the fleet is ready, we're fine."

INS Espada del Imperio
Hood-class Dreadnought
Central Razgriz Bay

The Espada del Imperio, a behemoth of steel, sat gracefully in the open waters of the Razgriz Bay. Her guns lay dormant for the moment, her eyes and ears watching the horizon for any incursions. Nearby, Tolerancia del Imperio, a Conqueror-class hypercarrier launched her next evening patrol. Her flat deck gently swayed in the calm bay as the setting sun cast shadows over her and her escorts. Two Phoenixes jumped from the catapults with a forceful whump, their afterburners bringing noise to the constant silence.

The group slowly made its way along the border of Cravanian territorial waters, staying well out of Clandonian waters but close enough to peer in with wide eyes. Within an instant, should the order be given, the Espada and Tolerancia could easily make a first strike. Luckily, however, this was not on the agenda. The group, as with the rest of the Imperial Navy stationed in Cravan, was designated for home defense until otherwise ordered. And that would be a while with the rising threats against the homeland.

So for now, the magnificent sight of the Imperial Navy would remain at home...

TO: ALL INVOVLED NATIONS LEADERSHIPS

As we have predicted, a former member of the GASN Clandonia Prime has started to spread propoganda against the members of the Global Alliance of Sovern Nations. Let it be known that the buildup in the military of the Dark Empire of Shazbotdom is for national defenec only.

We are in no way taking any offensive actions against any member nation of the Corporate Alliance unless we are assaulted first. Although we must warn any civilians of CA member nations that they will be detained until such a time as we can figure out what they truly want during their stay in the Dark Empire of Shazbotdom. This is due to threats that we have recieved from Coporate Alliance Member Nations because we are a part of the GASN.

I will repeat again, WE WILL NOT take OFFENSIVE actions against ANY CORPORATE ALLIANCE member nations. Thank you for your time in reading this.

We have harby arrested several people who we suspect as terrorists. We ask that the nations invovled please check your records to see if you sent anyone to the Dark Empire. We will extradite these people if a nation claims responsibility for their actions, if not then we will try, convict and execute these terrorists under the laws of the Dark Empire of Shazbotdom. We will give all nations involved roughly 12 hours to respond.

They fired at the secret service men as they drag him away.

"Viva La Revolution"

And with that, they were promptly all mowed down by the Secret Servicemen, as their last act, the lead man, detonates a 3 kilogram C12 charge in the camera.
Vice Prime Minister, Peter Franklin, stood up and slowly walked up to a podium center stage, in the Parlaiment Green, literaly in the backyard of the Parlaiment building. He checked his microphone and looked around. Thousands crowded the Green, but all had been thouroughly searched before admittance, to prevent another 11-21 disaster. Even the camera men, so many of which were filming him at the very moment, had to be searched.

He cleared his throat, and began, "Ladies and gentlemen of the United Ed States," he paused for effect. He knew that at this very moment, thousands were watching him live all over the Ed States. He better make this good, he thought. He then continued, "I, now temporary Prime Minister, Peter Franklin, sworn in just hours ago, wish to make the following address to the brave people of the Ed States. Well...," he paused once again to prepare himself. This would be the hardest part of the speech, and he knew it. He took a deep breath, and started, "As you know, yesturday, November 21st of 2006, a day that will always be remembered by this generation and generations to come as a day of sadness and grief, our Prime Minister, Prime Minister Randolph Henry III, or Minister Randolph as so many called him, was gunned down in cold blood by communist infiltrators. As government safety and police workers came to the scene to help fight back the evil extremists, citezins were caught in the crossfire. Finally, once the dust had settled, only one assassin remained. He then detonated a large explosive, destroying a large portion of the area. In that explosion, countless local police, military officials, secret service officials, Royal Guards, and innocent citezins were killed, unjustly and much too soon for there time. All in all," he swallowed, "over 1,000 people were dead or wounded, most by the detonation of the bomb."

He read off his paper in front of him, "141 Police or government men died. An additional 256 were wounded seriously. Spectators to the speech included about 304 killed, much of whom were hiding for dear life under tables or chairs, and another 398 killed. Also, several nearby medics, responding to the call, lost there lives. And, of course, our dear Prime Minister Randolph, had past away after the first shot was fired. The area around where the event was held is still flaming as I speak, and it has already been declared a disaster zone."

OOC: After Franklin blabs on a bit, we get to here:

IC: "And therefore, ladies and gentlemen, I promise you I shall be a fair and just Prime Minister. I am of course aware of the upcoming election, and also wish to tell my people that just as I will stand by you now, I will do so in a month or so, as hopefully, if enough of you vote for me," a few people chuckled, "I will be your new Prime Minister for another 6 years! And just as now, I will stand by you, my people, and support you to the end! Trust me ladies and gentlemen, there will be hell to pay, for attacking the United Ed States!" A roar of cheers were let out, including ones saying "Vote Franklin '07!" and "Avenge Randolph!" The Prime Minister exited the stage, and smiled. He knew he did well. He accomplished several things today. He got what he wanted. The people of the UES love him, so he is probably guaranteed a election victory, and, the people now want revenge on all communist nations, and since the GASN has a large communist influence in the eyes of the UES citizens, pro CA policy will become more popular, enabling him to be more aggressive.

I'm slightly easier to get into, getting out alive, that is where most fail...
Most terrorists are caught attempting to escape from aborted attacks.

And it isn't pretty when we find terrorists...

One shot themselves in a holding cell... Another died of a strange illness, another drowned in a toilet bowl... The list just gets more bizzare the lnger I continue...
That's OK. This is UES E-SCAO we are talking about here, so they would rather shoot themselves than give in to surrendur... which may just happen... Anyway, OOCly, if you still want to go along with this, do you have any targets that would disrupt your nation (any political leaders to assasinate, nucleaur facilities to bomb, "new weapon" desginers to kidnap, generals to capture, etc.)? Or is there something else that you think someone trying to disrupt your nation would do? o.O

"Look sir, droids!" a soldier had found something resembling a box, with wires and stuff attached to it.

"Shut up Conlin"

"Yes sir" the private snickered and went back to his duty, as the Captain checked the Core, it was mostly intact, so, picking up his radio, he called HQ.
"HQ, this is Kruschev, we found something, requesting a Electronics Squad, technicians and something to move... this thing"

The radio crackled back an answer, the voice sounded excited, yet cautious "Roger that Team Leader, dispatching now"

The best intel that is Public IC is knowledge of a particularily bad bio-weapon and a rather interesting labor camp. On New Roanoke Island.

Intel supplied by Flightopia. It cost the lives of two agents...

There are a few catches, New Roanoke Island is purely a military instalation, so there is no chance you can just waltz right in, the waters are known to be heavily mined, and anti-aircraft batteries are everywhere...

Monodoth was lucky and managed to get invited to send a flight team over to demonstrate their skill, with them came a few terrorists, seach "PROHT Air Show" for the nitty gritty.

I suggest you read it. And all attached threads.

(OOC: Flightopia I think, but he hasn't been on for 14 days)
Alidrian Combined Forces Base (CFB)

Major Barry Schuehorst, commander of the 2nd Regiment of the Air Commandos, was in one of the many briefing rooms of the large base in the north eastern territories. Military planners were out lining a possible strike plan against the PROHT outpost of New Roanoke Island, and the one thousand men of his regiment were to be the first on the ground.

Looking at the plans for the possible attack, he noted the satellite photographs in the dossier showing high resolution, detailed pictures of the air base on New Roanoke Island, as well as a large FOB which, form its size, he estimated to have between four hundred thousand to four hundred and fifty thousand personnel probably stationed there, and a naval base containing a fleet of surface vessels.

The Satellite images showed considerable damage to air defences and radar installations of the PROHT air force base on New Roanoke Island, and a group of men fleeing from one of the hangers while at the same time a C-130 Hercules exited the same hanger.

Holding Cells,
Joycamp 262

Andrew was still sobbing in his cell when Dimitri entered, and hadn’t realised that nearly an hour had passed since he was told he was infected and was still very much upset at the thoughts of changing into a mindless zombie, like the ones running amuck in Mittleton City and the surrounding area.

“I have been ordered to have you moved to be executed, unless you are willing to tell them the story they want to hear, but what I am more interested in is what you think happened today. Please come with me” Dimitri said to Andrew in a cold tone after changing the broken light bulb in the cell.

Although Dimitri had lead Andrew to the run down wooden hut that had later become the nightmare that had lead Andrew to his current predicament, he still thought quite fondly of the PROHT soldier that had fought so fiercely to protect his live.

“Dimitri get out of here!” Andrew shouted at the hobbling Dimitri “I’m infected with that god damn virus, for god’s sake get out and lock the door for your own safety” the hysterical Andrew continued through his sobbing, not realising that he wasn’t showing any signs of the virus at all.

(OOC: is Joycamp 262 the FOB or the hidden bunker?)

Somewhere between the air base and the FOB

Adrian and the Flightopian personnel were making good time as they power jumped through the forests towards the FOB which satellite imagery had picked up the imprisoned Andrew Garner earlier.
Joycamp 262,
Outside “Adrian’s” cell

“Holy shit” Andrew squealed as the body of, what appeared to be, Adrian fell lifelessly to the cell floor “i, i, is he dead?” Andrew asked Dimitri, but without answering the question Dimitri asked Andrew how long he had known Adrian.

“He had just been promoted up to executive level before we came here, it was his first fact finding trip with the company” Andrew stammered, still staring at the body as Dimitri peeled of the person’s latex mask.

“What the hell is going on?” Andrew asked Dimitri in complete bewilderment.

Before he answered Andrew Dimitri removed a scrap of paper from the dead mans hand and a video from a camera set up in the cell, then prompted Andrew away down the corridor.

Outside Joycamp 262
Adrian scoured the perimeter of the PROHT stronghold, from a safe distance and under cover, trying to find a way into the camp.
Joycamp 262

Adrian heard the shrill of the woman who had witnessed the attack on the police officer. Deciding that the mission was now too dangerous to complete he dropped the CM249 SAW beside the unconscious police man and headed straight for the shore.

Once at the shore he disrobed and jumped into the water in an attempt to swim back to Alidor.

Log Cabin

“What the hell?” Andrew remarked “you knew this tunnel was here and yet you let us fight our way through the zombie’s outsides" As Andrew was talking he didn’t notice the movement in the shadows behind him and before he could move an infected jaw clasped around his neck. Blood spurted from the torn veins and artery and Andrew convulsed helplessly on the floor of the log cabin as his life drained away from him.

Log cabin
"Ah, for criopesakes..."

Dimitri puts a bullet through the zombies brain, pulls out an epipen of Antiseptic/Penicilin/Antibiotics triple shot, and administers it to Andrew, then pulls out a pouch of redi-clot to deal with the bleeding.

"You'll be all right. Yes, I sort opf knew of the tunnels, but taking you through them wasn't part of the plan at the time."

Northern Shore, New Roanoke Island
Task Force 3 on trials
SS-A Yahoo saw an interesting sight, a man in a busines suit trying to swim away from shore, and right for a submaraine that wasn't supposed to any longer exist. Plus there was that pesky quarantine they hasd to provide, pesky zombies couldn't swim to well, but infected people during incubation period could.

The submarine launched off an HT-101 (M-113 replacement slightly better) and the little AFV chugged off towards the crazy man at a peppy 9 knots. Guns leveled at the man's head the whole time. A man lpt out from the rear hull hatch:

"Yo, you look lost, need a hand?"

He thought he heard a sputter of a reply

"I'm afraid we have to insist"

The Staff Sgt yanks Adrian out of the water, and sends him in the reletively calm (if not cramped with 20 men) intirior of the AFV while it continues to chugged towards shore.

Good news! We found your delegates, one was found swimming north of our coasts, and the other appears to be infected, and is currently being treated to the best of our medical ability for hypothermia and infection respectively. Both shall be returned to you on three conditions

1> Their health improves
2> You cease all localised Jamming of our radio frequencies on your island.
3> You are willing to let any PROHT personel return on their own free will and we shall do likewise with all Alidorian personel held likewise.

On another issue, while they where over here, one of your delegates chalked up some very serious crimes, including but not limited to, terrorism, spying, genocide, and homicide.

OCC: The missiles were targeted at tanks as well. Anyhow…

In the Air

Ron knew he was in shit long before the AAA opened up. The LADAR on the Talon is extremely accurate, within 50 miles it can produce photo quality images, the computer on his aircraft calculated the firing angles and trajectories of the AAA battery and told Masterson that they had him boxed in. “Fuck me,” he thought. It was this time when Ron knew he had only option to save himself. He without thinking pushed the turbofans and PDWE to full power and prayed he could punch thought it. His aircraft went from mach .5 to 1.5 in 6 seconds. He saw the tracers fly around him and cursed the full moon under which he flew. Records form the LADAR would show that most rounds came within a foor of hitting his aircraft. When his plane reached mach 4 we pulled up into a 90-degree climb, still accelerating. As he climbed the weapons fire got progressively less and less accurate. After 110 seconds he reached his attack climb apex at 40,000 ft. He then rolled the aircraft over in a wide loop and still with throttles at max power went into a steep dive and fired his last missile. After having the weapon kicked out of his plane he turned back towards the airbase. The he launched missile was no ordinary missile. Instead of one warhead it carried 12 5-pound thirmium-nitrate warheads, theses warheads could steer themselves towards their targets, which were at this point 4 AAA guns. At an altitude of 5,000 msl the weapon separated into 12 separate parts, 3 for each gun. Form the dive and rocket in the missile they would impact close to mach 4.

Back in the Talon Masterson made a radio call, “New Roanoke Tower this is Talon-One, unless there is a serious situation you need me to respond to I’m returning to base to re-arm. Over”

Talon Hangar
That Same Time

Sgt. McClanahan still was in the hangar looking over the team’s stock of weapons when his radio was filled with a voice being spoken over 5,000 miles away.

“Patrick this is General David. I have something important for you son.”

“Go ahead sir.”

“Well,” there was brief pause, “One of the NIN (Need-it-Now) satellites we launched to support you mission a few days ago picked up some stuff you need to see.”

Streamed from Battle Mountain to Patrick’s helmet display was something horrific. The general provided the commentary.

“We just took the time to look over the video captured a few hours ago. As you can see there was a large group of PROHT police in this field. Now you can see a flight of fighter jets dropping gas canisters over the area. Those canisters contain what we think as some from of virus that mutated those poor souls. We know this as those people then prceed to kill PROHT soldiers and attack the base and sorounding armories."

“So you are saying that PROTH made those zombies? Why the fuck would they do that?”

“We think it was to test the aircraft in the show,” then general replied gloomily.

“Ok, I understand sir. Talon leader out.”

Then the channel was abruptly cut.

McClanahan paced for a moment in furstration then became well minded enought to skeep to the team. He needed not explain what he was told to his team. He streamed the conversation and video to them as well. Patrick only need to say a few words, “Ok people, I think the People’s Republic might have some odd intents,” he spoke with obvious anger, “We will deal with this fact later. We will ask why they did what they did. But, not until the time is right. Until then, stay sharp.” He then proceeded to load more FM-8 magazines.
(OOC: Ok then, I think I figured out away to stay in the RP, its a bit long winded but I think it works.
Flightopia if you had a sniper on the roof of your hanger, then he/she probably would have see my agent being shot and if your using the same tinman equipment from Dale Brown's Plan of Attack than you probably would have known he wasn't infected)

The National Survey Agency

The young lieutenant watched the images coming in from one of the satellites crossing over New Roanoke Island, his computer monitor showed a man running out of the forests on one side of the PROHT air force base into its perimeter. He was half dragging another man and a young boy wearing a PROHT uniform and a PROHT soldier were with them. A modified FMX-6 drifted across the open field and picked up two of the men while the third killed the young boy, who was now convulsing on the floor, with three level shoots to the head.

In the Bureau of National Security, in one of its many sub-sections a group of intelligence agents sat around a table in the units action room, a room protected by a twenty inch thick door made of dense titanium metal balance so precisely on its hinges that a single man could open it (but only if he knew the access code and had been biometrically registered into the units security system) the walls were four foot thick reinforced concrete with copper mesh woven into it to prevent listening devices to snatch any part of a conversation and the only lines of communication into the room lead directly to the BNS interchange or the National Survey Agency. The agents sat watched the streaming satellite imagery on a large screen, it was a live feed delayed by nearly ten seconds but, it showed a lone man with a blue aura around him, highlighting Adrian to make it easier for the agents to follow his tracks, the other person the sophisticated computer was searching for was Andrew Garner (but he is already inside a PROHT aircraft) the screen showed the young agent running towards the PPOHT foxholes waving his left arm frantically while carrying the CM-249 SAW with his right, a flash and puff of smoke was clearly visible from the side of the PROHT air base’s control tower. Adrian creased over and lay still on the grass for a few seconds, then with the CM-249 SAW clasped in both hands began rolling side ways towards the tree line, before he reach the trees the air base had passed from the satellite’s view.

The woods near the air base

A couple metres into the tree line Adrian rose to his right knee and checked his abdomen were he felt the bullet hit. Pulling his shirt aside he saw that he had only received a flesh wound by the over zealous PROTH soldier that had fired at him “For god’s sake” he thought to himself “Those soldiers must be fucking brain dead, I was shouting for help for god’s sake”.
Tucking his shirt back into his trousers he grabbed the CM-249 SAW and skirted around the tree line to find another way into the air base his shirt was starting to soak in blood from the flesh wound he received but his jacket was concealing it so far.

Second Sub-Floor the Bureau of National Security
Foreign Intelligence Group 5

The agents around the table in the Action Room looked at one and other in amazement, a PROHT soldier just tried to kill an Alidorn citizen, for all they knew,

“Is it possible to get an extraction team in there” the man sat at the head of the table asked, the group looked around at each other trying to think of a way to recover the agent and his charge.

“We have several ships in the area, sir” one of the agents sat to the right of the head agent said.

“Sarah, I don’t think sending in the marines is on the cards right now” Samuel Anderson the chief agent of the Foreign Intelligence Group 5 retorted.

“I meant a quick surgical strike by special forces, sir” Sarah responded “We have some new toys that have been developed and teams trained in the use but they have never tested in a real life exercise” her gaze level with Samuels and unflinching.

“Put together a plan” Samuel said in a monotone, pissed off voice, “You have three hours to get it together and show me” from the tone of Samuels voice and his matter of fact reply Sarah know she had been chided, but she wasted no time and left the meeting room and immediately went to her station, activating her computer and sourcing several ‘operators’ to help in her plan.

Samuel looked around the Action Room and when the only access door had been sealed again he asked “When will we have another fly by Satellite and when will there be a geosynchronous satellite above that island” he finish while pointing at the frozen picture of Adrian in mid role.

Roof of Talon Hangar

“What the hell is he doing?” Thought Hammer. After the two other ran off in the jet to leave their “friend” to die. The man was running towards the line of foxholes. Through her suit’s audio amplifying system even from this distance she could he him clear as if he was two feet away, “Help, help they’re right behind me. Help, they attacked my cabin, please help me,” he yelled. Then to her astonishment a shot rang out and the man crumpled to the ground. She watched for a few moments to she if the shot was fatal. The man began to stir and to her amazement he began to roll towards the tree line. “The guy is gonna die unless we help him!” Her mind was ringing. Hammer got on the radio, “Lt. the guy we were watching got abandoned. He was running towards the PROHT lines shouting that he was not infected. The shot him sir! He will die if we don’t help him ASAP!”

“Ok. Then you don’t need to ask me to go get him. But, don’t take him to the base hospital. Bring him here. If they get a hold of him who knows what could happen. They might shoot again.”

“Yes sir! I’m hotfooted.”

She jumped down from the hangar (you know the suit) and moved though cover until she reached the fence. She could just tear it open. But that would make to much noise. She activated the compressed air charges in her boots, which shot her up about 30 feet above the fence. They charges fire again to slow her landing. Once she was sure she had her shit in order began to creep into the treeline. The going was slow and meticulous as she didn’t want to be seen or heard. It took her 10 minutes to reach the man who now had propped himself against a tree and had become unconcincious.

“Hey buddy,” she spoke , “Looks like you need some help.”

Without waiting she picked him up, threw him over she shoulder, being careful to not tear the wound and began to take him back to the hanger.

Talon Hanger
15 Minutes Later

When she returned a team member had cut a hole in the fence as a jump might kill the man. Once inside he was placed on a cot and Lance Corporal Leah Mencamp, a trained corpsman, began to tend to him. One thing was for certain, he was NOT infected.

As Masterson watched these events he could only hope this guy pulled though. Then he could tell them what he did to piss-off the PROHT.

Flightopian Hanger

When Adrian came round he found his jacket, shirt and weapons had been removed and a tightly wound bandage had been fitted around his abdomen, as light streamed into his eyes again they slowly focused into the curved (?) hanger roof and his ears picked up the rhythmic sounds of maintenance work being carried out around him.

Lifting his head slighted a thumping headache made him slow his ascent from his new found cot. Not recalling exactly how he ended up in the hanger Adrian was cautious looking for clues as to his saviours or his captures, either way he would find out quickly as a shuffled to his right meant someone had noticed him now sitting up on the edge of the bed.

Masterson now noticed that their “guest” had woken up and was sitting up on his cot. “Oh good you’re awake,” he spoke. “I hope you don’t mind but we took the courtesy of fixing you up. You lucky, if Sgt. Hammer hadn’t seen you get shot or got there 5 minutes later you wouldn’t have made it. Oh sorry I forgot to introduce myself, I’m 1st Lieutenant John Masterson, Flightopian Air Force. Now, I would like to know who you are and why the PROHT want you dead.” John then sat back in his chair and waited for a response.

Flightopian Hanger

“How…How long have I been out” Adrian ask still waking up from his slumber, a cocktail of medicines keeping him groggy and his thoughts scattered.

“I, remember I was in a log cabin, with two” he shook his head slowly “No three others when it was surrounded by some kind of deranged group intend on getting in” then, argh” Adrian winced with pain as his hand passed of his bandaged wound “We managed to escape the cabin and something happened” his mind still clouded by trying to find the memories he wanted “I was alone on the field and then someone shot me” sucking a breath in hard through the pain in his abdomen, Adrian struggled to his feet “Do you have a satellite or long range radio unit or phone I could use?, its quite urgent”

Foreign Intelligence Group 5

(OOC: This part maybe changed, depends if Hurtful has a problem with parts of it)

The stream footage was being displayed the large monitor mounted one wall at the end of the conference table, another satellite was making a pass over the PROHT island and the airbase had been magnified to a degree that show in-detail wandering around hangers or huddled in foxholes.

“I’m not seeing a blue aura” Samuel commented dryly
“Sir, it’s been nearly twenty minutes since we last had eyes on the area” Sarah replied “Our operative may have moved away from the base”
“Unlikely, Walker has a mission and he knows that his principle target is in that base somewhere” Samuel countered without lifting his gaze from the images on the screen.
“What is that?” Samuel pointed to a sudden blue aura appeared near one of the airbases FMX-6B aircraft “Focus in on that man quickly” he ordered. One of the technicians typed a stream of commands into his access terminal built into the conference Table and a highlighted box appeared to the top right of the display screen showing Andrew Garner being roughly escorted by two PROHT guards.

“Shit, shit” Samuel muttered “Sarah, how far along is your plan”
Sarah looked at her terminal for a second before answering “Sir, I have contacted navy intelligence and they are currently forwarding the class and designations of available forces”

"Certainly,” John said, “Right this way.

As he led the man to the comms area he informed Adrian that he had been out about 30 minutes. “It seems like you pissed of the PROHT,” Masterson spoke seriously, “If you desire we can protect you and try to get you off the damned rock.” He handed the sat phone to Adrian. “We’ll talk after you make the calls you need.”

As the man made his calls Masterson spoke as if talking to himself.

Battle Mountain AFB
0932 Hours

General David was just returning to the now fully staffed CIC from a run around the base the voice of Lt. Masterson jumped into his ears.

“General is Masterson.”

“Go ahead lieutenant.”

“Sir we just rescued a man who was shot by PROHT soldiers while trying to enter the base.”

“I would not blame them in light of the previous events.”

“The man was running with a gun shouting very loudly that he was not infected. I think the soldiers tired to kill him knowing he was not infected.”

“Do you have any proof?”

“Not as of yet. But the man was part of a foreign delegation and there is no trace of the two others he says he was with.” There was long pause before Masterson spoke again. “Sir, I think we need to get this guy out of here, and fast. The island has been locked down so it needs to be a snatch and grab.”

“One moment lieutenant.”

General David pulled up the location of all battle force units and then spoke again to Masterson. “John, we have a team onboard one of the freighters (Teams are deployed on disguised cargo freighters that have Pavedasher aircraft and choppers so they can be covertly deployed) about 600 miles out. I will have them move closer to PROHT waters. But you must give me time to notify the president.”

“Understood sir. Masterson out.”

Presidential Apartment, Flight City, Judas
A Short Time Later

President Hunter Alldredge was just getting ready to go out to lunch with a few of his “Friends” in Congress when an aide approached him with a phone in his hand. “Mr. President I have General David from Battle Mountain on the phone for you.”

“Thank you George,” the President said as he took the phone. “Rudy what does your little lair in the desert need?”

“Well sir, some things have come up with that airshow in the PROHT we sent a team to.”
David then explained everything that had happened so far. It was some time before the president spoke. “So what you’re asking is my authorization to get this man out of PROHT?”

“Yes sir if it comes to that and also to defend ourselves if the team come under attack or the man is tried to be retaken by the PROHT.”

“Ok, you have authorization, and find out what country this man is from.”

The line went dead.

General David relayed this to his commanders as well as to Masterson.

Talon Hangar

John also handed a message to the man as he spoke on the phone it read:
We can get you out if here if you wish. We can also protect you from falling into PROHT hands. I also need to know, what country are you from?

Flightopian Hanger

Typing in the number for a military base switch board, Adrian requested that his call be diverted to another switch board and then finally to the Bureau of National Security switch board before being connected to Samuel Anderson, the head of Foreign Intelligence Group 5,

“Anderson, secure” was the response Samuel gave as soon as he lifted the receiver of his phone.
“Trojan, open” Adrian responded with his codename and indicating that his phone was not scrambling the conversation.
“Trojan, go ahead”
“Mission compromised, target is not recovered and secondary missing” Adrian kept his sentences as short as possible to prevent anyone who was listening from understanding or gaining any useful information.
“Understood Trojan” Anderson replied knowingly “What is situation”
“Possible friendly forces found” Adrian looked around “Permission to inform them of situation”
“Do you trust your friends?”
“They put themselves at risk to help me” Adrian answered
“It’s your choice then” Samuel added “If you trust your friends, tell them”
“Trojan, out” Adrian finished the conversation quickly, he could wait till a secure line was available before going into more detail.

Finishing on the phone Adrian walked over to 1st Lieutenant John Masterson to explain why PROHT didn’t want Alidorn people on New Roanoke Island.

Getting the Lieutenants attention Adrian began to explain about a viral outbreak in his home country of Alidor and how a PROHT fleet showed up not long after and forcibly landed troops on Alidorn soil, killing several Alidorn Marines in a unprovoked bombing run and then the unknown number of PROHT Marines disappeared inland, tracks confirmed they were heading for Mittleton City the centre of the outbreak, but search parties had no luck in finding them. That was when he had been tasked with joining a Strategic Arms Inc director to New Roanoke Island to find some proof of a link between PROHT and the Mittleton City outbreak. Unfortunately he and the other Alidorn he had accompanied along with two PROHT soldiers were attacked by people who seemed infected with the same disease as the one ravaging Alidor. The rest they must have witnessed themselves for they had rescued him from the wood’s before he was killed. Adrian explained that he needed proof PROHT had some kind of biological weapon that sent people into a violent frenzy, intent on attacking and killing anyone they encounter, and he had to find Andrew Garner before he could evacuate the island.

“Ok. So we need to find your friend right? We don’t need go get proof because we already have it.”

Masterson then showed him the video of the gas attack.

“Now that that unpleasantness is behind us I need to know where you last saw Andrew.”

He was told the story of the incident with the plane.

“Ok, hold on.”

Masterson then spoke to General David. “General it’s Masterson.”

“Go ahead.”

“Sir I need some imagery sent down, the last few hours of any PROHT aircraft. Flash on any jets that hover near the ground then later after landing bringing out a possible prisoner.”

“One moment, let met get a techy on that.” After about 5 minutes the general’s voice returned. “Lieutenant I think this is what you are looking for.”

The video was streamed to John’s helmet display as well as the comms area where Adrian could watch as well. It showed the entire incident with the jet, Adrian getting shot, and then the plane landing with a man being escorted by two PROHT guards towards the detention center. “Is that your man?” Masterson asked. When Adrian nodded John went into action. Masterson handed him a suit of battle armor. “If we are going to get you two out of here we need to keep for from dying on us.” He then turned to the ground crew, “Get the Talon armed for air-to-air and air-to-ground combat and out on the ramp. I want to be in the air in five minutes.” John then spoke Gen. David. “Sir, I’m requesting authorization to rescue the other Alidorian and get these two off the island. I’m also requesting the ROE to be changed so if we are fired upon we can return fire.”

“Authorization granted. I’m sending in the bombers and the other team. Bombers ETE is 15 minutes, the Talon team about 25. Good luck.”

“Thank you sir.”

The call ended.

Masterson then turned to Patrick who had now joined him, “Get everything loaded into the C-130, anything sensitive like the comms gear or anything that can’t be loaded in 10 minutes gets destroyed. Get Tom to prep the -130 for take-off and get it in the air. The rest of you will get the two Alidorians to safety while I and the bombers cover you from the air. You will board the Pavedasher when it arrives in about 25 minutes. You know the new ROE. Have fun boys and girls.”
Masterson saluted them and they returned it. Then they all went to work. 4 talon operators would rescue the man. It was overkill.

Lead EB-120 Stargazer
That Same Time

The Mission Commander, Major Frank “Fonzi” Vine, was just returning from the john when the radio squawked. “Aurora (The Unit’s Callsign) one-one do you copy over.”

“We copy.”

“You have a new tasking, set condition gold.”

“Understood condition gold, you may proceed with tasking over.”

“Your orders are to attack and disable all SAMs, AAA, and radar on New Roanoke Island. You also will launch stealth hawks to provide close air support. Over.”

“Wilco, Flight copies. Out.”

He then switched to the flight’s frequency. He needed not explain the orders as everyone else had been monitoring the other frequency.

“Alright boys and girls, you know the drill.”

Each of the five Stargazers launched two Stealthhawk UCAVS, extremely stealthy (An RCS the size of a Falcon) aircraft shaped like large flat surfboards that carried 7 mini-mavs each. They cruised into PROHT airspace at very low level (About 20 feet) holding only 10 miles away ready to upon orders from the ground team pop-up and start taking out targets. The bombers then went hypersonic and as they did so launched HSARM (Hypersonic Anti Radar Cruise-Missiles) and cruise missiles directed at SAMs and AAA. When the 32nd went in, they went in hard.

Undershi City Airport

The team had been selected from elite Janissary units, as well as from special centers for the training of norms to act as spies. There was Robert Wagner, the former paratrooper who had killed thirty seven Rynaldi soldiers with a combat knife and an empty rifle, Nathan Guaptai, a former heavy-weapons specialist who was mildly famous amoung the soldiers, norm and True Undershi alike, of the Undershi military for bringing down five Paxtonite helicopters in less than five minutes, using anti-tank rockets.
Then there were the other two former Janissaries - Tyler Price, a deadly sniper and Alexander Moscovsky, a demolitions expert.
The other four members of their team were trained spies and infiltrators, experts and considered loyal... all eight men had family members back in the Empire who would suffer if they failed or fled.
They would take a plane from Undershi City to the Blackhelm Confederacy, and from there they would travel to a neutral nation... and from there, to The World Soviet Party. The entire trip would take three days, precious time they had little enough of already... but they needed to get in, and that route offered the greatest possible oppertunity for success.

The Wanderjarian Naval GSG-9 team in the Blackhelm Confederacy was situated along their coast line. Having recieved little in the way of support for the previous months, they had gone underground, making themselves out to be Confederate Civillians and living what would appear on the outside to be "normal" lives.

Then the call came. The sleeper cell had awoken.

When their team leader recieved the call, he immediately went and gathered the other team members, twelve in all, to gather their gear, and get to work. The primary objective being Griffincrest manor, would not be easily accessible. Therefore, they decided to go for an easier objective.

"The question is," Black-6 asked, staring at the same map of BC as the others were. "What?"

"Good question." Replied the team sharpshooter. "I, as always, say that assassinating Mr. Griffincrest would be a good idea. When he goes out in public, which he'll eventually do, we find him, and kill him."

"Yeah, but the problem is, how will we know when he's going to do that?" Asked Black-2, one of the newer team members. "We need to look for patterns in his movement, but where do we begin? The old bastard is paranoid, so who knows where he'll go?"

6 thought about this for some time, while the others shared ideas while standing in the dimly lit basement in which they were planning. Finally, an idea struck.

"What if we heard everything he said?"

The others merely stared at him.

"Sir?" Black-2 asked. "How do we do this?"

"Get a wire tap set on his telephone. We'll hear his every conversation, and know in advance! Also, we'll need a pen-register set, so we can know the telephone number of anyone he calls. With the numbers, we can find them in a phone book or something. Hunt them down and kill them."

They began plotting the operation...

"Then, should I send in an IIS team?" Aleksander seeemd to think about that for a moment, but then he nodded:

Undershi Attack Submarine Tigershark

The Tigershark was one of the newer attack subs in the Undershi navy. It was stealthy, and quick... perfect for the job that the High Command had just found for it.
Currently, it was enroute to TWSP territorial waters, carrying onboard a special cargo, one potentially more deadly than any load of conventional torpedoes - 50 elite IIS Storm Troopers, deadly and trained, ready to fight and kill in the name of the Undershi Empire.
The menthod of their deployment would be simple - scuba gear. They would not be able to wear full power armour, or indeed even half armour, but they would still be able to carry their Gauss rifles, in water-proof cases. No heavy weapons either... but they were professionals, the elite of the IIS. If anyone could accomplish the impossible, they could.
Their orders were simple as well - come ashore as close to the base as they could without being spotted, then meet up... and then, once all of their gear was assembled and they were ready, they would launch an attack against the base in which the computer core was stored. Success seemed unlikely... but they would try. They were the IIS, after all...

TWSP Base

The code protecting the computer core makes use of upper case and lower case letters, as well as numbers. That means that there are 62 possibilities for each digit of the code... and there are 120 digits to the code. 62 to the 120th power possible codes... quite a few.
Even with an excelent computer hooked up, it will take a while to crack...

SECRET MESSAGE SMUGGLED WITHOUT U.E.S. NOTICE TO BE DELIVERED TO ALL GASN NATIONS:
My name is Colonel Thomas Vemmivo, a assistant manager in the Ed States Military Technology Program. I was a known GASN supporter. Recently, after the new Prime Minister, Charles Tryoni, took power, he re-instated a old government program that was discontinued in 1991, after the fall of Communist Russia. The program, called the National Bureau of Defence (the NBD), had one purpose: to track down any potential "threats" to the nation, including Communist supporters and other "enemies of the state". It was the "secret police" of the UES, and would frequently imprison spies and conspirators. The re-instated NBD has a new purpose, now being to track down GASN supporters. Now that the NBD is back, and I am GASN supporting high ranking UES researcher and head of developement in my engineering sector, surely the NBD will come for me. I ask any GASN nation to take pity on me and please attempt to rescue me before my immenint capture. I have sent with this message a secure coded call signal, which even the UES NBD cannot decode. Please call back using that signal and we may set a time and date for my extraction. I am willing to do almost anything you ask, as long as I do not have to fall into the hands of those merciless NBD barbarians!

I thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Colonel Thomas Vemmivo, Assistant Manager to the Ed States Military Technology Program of Sector Number Four

They had chosen to land at night, when there was less of a chance that some random passerby might spot them... they hoped they would be able to pull off the mission... a lot depended on their success...

They knew all of the backroads of Red City as they used them to set up defences. They looked out the windows on the horizon and watched as they passed by familiar scenery along the countryside. The red light then came on to signify that they should fasten their seatbelts in order to prepare for landing.

The Boeing 777 would be the first to go down as the 5 Thunderbird craft began to circle the landing strip in defensive pattern Shazer 4432. The 777 slowly lowered itself down and lowered it's landing gear. As soon as it touched down the flaps were fully deployed and the engines were kicked to full reverse, slowing the massive aircraft as it rolled across the runway. The Thunderbirds watched as the 777 slowed to almost a stop and then rolled downt he taxi way.

It was now their turn, they all started heading towards the runway as their lower thrusters kicked in. They slowed themselves down and lowered down, doing a vertial landing around the Boeing 777 as it stopped on the tarmac, away from the runways and any other major buildings.

Do you have any targets that aren't filled with... the living dead? You may call me picky, but I'd prefer to make the mission one as... realistic and... not so much creepy as bloody as possible.

Yep, as stated on the last post, that infestation was officially eradicated a very long time ago, all that remains are a few burnt out and a few occupied research facilities. Biological or chemical, sometimes both...

Unofficially, there are stories of patrols that don't come back to base on time, and when they do, they are short on ammunition, and a few men go 'missing' from time to time.

(And as a rule, such facilities are 'creepy' for a reason)

You might find the conventional weapons development centers, but I doubt that would be of much interest to any terrorists...

And those wheren't real zombies, those things die. These are just guys drugged to the point they no longer percieve pain and become violent, as a consequence, their rational thoughts cease to exist...
Such drugs and diseases DO exist.* I just perfected it into a potent cocktail...

I guess that is why I simply allow them to be called zombies...

Once inside the base, the scientists were escorted to their quarters, surely, after such a long trip, they'd want to rest a bit before getting to work.
As for the Shazines, they were shown their barracks, a small, grey box-like building and told that, as far as the Soviets were concerned, they had the rest of the day off. The CO was given a map of the facility and told that should he need anything, he only needed to call.

Hmmmmm... it all depends on what these facilities are used for... and how "conventional" it therefore is... so, how good are your air defences on this island? Or do I have to find that out for myself?

A Flightopian F/A-35 Talon (supported by a whole mess of stealth strike attack planes and bombers) managed a pretty good penetration, once.
But that was during a 'zombie' outbrake, and we mistook them for friendlies during a live fire exercise... So we thought they mistook our SAM sites for target decoys, so we told them which ones were which!!!
But, yeah, expect heavy AAA, and a considerable number of SAMs, along with occasional to frequent ground patrols.

There are tunnels, but nobody outside of my nation knows they even exist.

The exact locations of the buildings are well known, or at least, can be mistaken for being well known...

Most of the buildings are for... well, some of them nobody knows what goes on inside, others are just mundane run of the mill. But ost simply try perfecting various bio and chemical weapons, or testing them, others store conventional weapons yet to enter mainstream service (HTM-136 SP siege mortars and ICBMs for example). Others are simple massive factories, and others are labor camps...

Simply, I'd advise against doing anything you wouldn't try in real life if confronted with the same scenery, if it looks bad, it most likely is.
Military installations, especialy secret ones, are far from user friendly.
And nobody wants to freeze to death in the tropics after breeching a container of liquid oxygen...

Keep in mind, I don't consider the chances of any of your men surviving a visit as very high...
Especially if you shoot or blow up anything...
------

On another note, I'm developing an attmept at the most ridiculous weapon for some eccentric Leafthansi... Guess where those weapons are being made...

-------

I'll try restraining myself from doing 'wierd' things...

See storefront and factbook and you'll get an idea of what is made 'over there'

As for BC's ?

Griffencrest's Leafthansi made double was injected with, something, that made him tougher to kill, more aggressive, confused, and perhaps stronger. Then he had his head blown off by an explsive bullet...

I'm going to be mean, and start an arms race...

HTA-108 203 mm SP Assault gun
(yeah, an improved HTC-108 that can duel HBTs... based on HT-106 chassis...)
http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/land/row/203mm-DDST8606676_JPG.jpg

Replacing the HTC-108, due to its lack of high angle fire, the HTA-108 is a vast improvement.

Based on the more solid chassis of the HT-106 (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=10753855&postcount=9), rather than the HT-101, it is now better able to cope with the massive recoil.

It was also given a rear spade, in addition to a front spade, side bracing arms may also be deployed, allowing 360 degrees of low angle fire (up to 30 degrees from horizontal), or 30 degree traverse at high angle fire (up to 85 degrees from horizontal).

Specifications are the same as that carried by the HT-106, except price, which is now 15 million for a full HTA-108.

Optional open rear turret available for another 2 to 5 million (raises CG deflects small arms or small cannon fire to full sized tank rounds, depending on grade [ low, high or MBT grade])

Carries 15 shells...
Or 5 shells and an additional barrel extension for "artillery/tank sniping".
Operates with a crew of 6...
Wieghs 35 tons at entry level...
It can throw a shell over 25 miles/55 Km...
A battery with 5 of these can land 45 shells in a minute (firing at 3 rds/min per gun, 3 trajectories)

The gun can be fred with spade raised, but accuraxcy will most likely suffer (along with safety, but wiegh that against getting perferated by an enemy 203 mm shell...)

I'll probably respond with the 2S7 203.2mm SP gun, and perhaps some sort of dual 203.2mm Recoilless Rifle vehicle on the HT-201 Platform. The HT-201 is an advanced HT-101 I've been tinkering with. It'd be useful in anti-armour purposes but useless as artillery.

And if I stick to an open turret, a quad 203.2mm Recoilless Rifle mount. With LASER rangefinders and an electronic targetting computer, I can put 4 203.2mm shells on target at once. How does that sound?

They then opened up their cases and pulled out what looked like a set of standard laptop computers and set them up on a desk. They then pulled out a few cables and connected the laptops together via a local network and then logged in.

"So what were going to do here is connect that there 'little black box' up to the network. We brought different types of cables, almost all that have ever been made, and will find the one that fits the jack on that box. Then were gonna take two days tops to crack that code and get into the internal memory of the box.

You might be wondering, 'How do you plan to do that with three laptops?'. Well, thats because these laptops don't run on standard binary. They are laptops running on a 43.5 Ghz Hexidecimal processor. They can crack just about anything. We'll start cracking this thing tomarrow morning as we had a long flight.

Oh, and don't try to download porn onto these computers either. We logged in just to see if the network was working. Now we're gonna log of of them and shut em down."

1st Team

Once they'd gotten their rental car, they began a drive - they would check all eight of the marked weapons caches. Most likely many of the caches would have been discovered... but they only needed to find one to have enough to do what needed to be done...

2nd Team

The decision on whether or not to hit the convoy was a fairly difficult one... but they came to a conclusion. Their weapons were Light Gauss-autos, the rail gun equivilents of sub-machineguns. With those weapons, they could send 4mm depleted uranium bolts into enemy tanks, and possibly destroy them...
But they had other, better, weapons to use. Their weapons had underslung grenade launchers, and they all had two magazines of grenades for that - one of fragmentation grenades, the other... the other was full of anti-tank grenades, perfect for lightly armoured targets like the APCs they now watched.
The order was given - as one, two dozen Undershis fired off their five grenade anti-tank grenade magazines, aiming at the convoy.
The others, meanwhile, waited for the convoy to react - they planned on seizing at least one or two vehicles intact...

One of the APCs exploded in flames, quickly followed by a truck, it's soldiers struggled to escape the remains and escape a death by fire. Meanwhile, the other vehicles opened fire on the general direction of the attack, the Spartan M4A3s using their Machine Guns and Auto cannons to cover the tank while it moved it's turret. Mounted troops disembarked as quickly as they could and took cover behind the hedgerows and vehicles, also firing with their assault rifles and assorted small arms.

Instead, the fine tuned scans of the Clandonians showed the scanners that the attack had come from an embassy. Specifically, the embassy of The Dark Empire of Shazbotdom.

Official Clandonian Response

Secure communication to The Dark Empire of Shazbotdom:

Several days ago there was an attack against government and Clandonian Corporation internet servers. Primilinary investigateds showed the origins came from the Shazbotdom embassy in Clanon City. Whilst we are not blaming your nation for this, investigations must be completed. We have decided to not publicise this inicdent due the good relations between our Clandonian and Shazbotdom.

OOC:
Didn't see this before so i'll set it straight right now. Nova Britanica, My nation uses a heavy encrypytion from a complex Hexidecimal computer system. So It is doubtful that your hackers could penitrate my nations computer networks to make Clandonians think that my nation attacked theirs, it's next to impossible unless you have a hexidecimal computer system equal to or greater in technology than mine. Binary computers would take forevr to crack the codes of my nation's diplomatic computer system.

But I will go along with it now. And I am RPing that I tracked it to your nation. Just remember that for future reference.

We have tracked the signal using our sophisticated computers to a nation calling itself Nova Brittanica. We are currently undergoing our own line of inquiry as to the reason behind this flagrant assault on both our computer systems but it might take some time before we get a straight answer, especially if their government did give authorisation for this assault and denies what happened.

If there is any damages, we will send a sum of 300 Million USD to your nation to cover repair expenses. Although with our nations being targeted, we will send it via check and the Shazbotdom Marine Corps will hand deliver it. Thank you for your time and paitence.

We suspected the Nova Brittanicans, IP adresses were traced back to their nation with large spike levels of internet traffic coming from their nation. A distinguishing feautre of an attack, the likely idea is for a conflict to be started between Shazbotdom and Clandonia Prime. We will however deploy military assets against the Nova Brittanicans if our investigation shows it was them and their government is uncooperative.

We highly doubt that you will get any cooperation from the Government of Nova Brittania. They are as you would say, ignorant.

Our initial reports from the Intelligance Operitives say that it is a 90% possibility that the attacks upon both of our computer networks by whoever it is inside of Nova Brittania was government sanctioned. Therefore, we are upgrading our DEFCON rating to 2 and preparing our "BlackOps" Special Forces for any covert missions.

SCENE: Fort Twan, Marine Corps Base
A fire team of 5 specialised "BlackOps" Special Forces Marines were being prepared for deployment. Their jet black armor would make them nearly invisable during the night time, which just happens to be the time in which they liked to move about. They would be dispatched into Nova Birttania and seek out information on who was using the Shazbotdom computer system to assault Clandonia Prime owned computer systems.

They would be inserted quietly during the night using a small civilian power boat. The power boat was to leave Shazbotdom Naval Base in roughly 4 hours and be near the targeted drop point tomarrow after making two refueling stops along the way. It would be a quiet mission, one in which no one would know about except those in Clandonia Prime.

We have recently learned of an attempt to start a war between our three nations. This was made by radical extremist rebels who were Isolationists, wanting our nation to stop butting into international affairs. They apparently wanted to give us a taste of what would happen. A secret war is being waged against these rebels. No doubt, our nation would have been annexed, or completly destroyed if we entered into war with your nations. We destroyed the base the rebels were operating at, and we killed all rebels at the base. However there is most likely more rebels out there.

SIC:

The operation had been scrapped. Damage had been done, and that was enough for them. The generals and scientists had been sent to the "front lines" in the British Londinian conflict, where they were killed. The corpses were then placed in the base with their equipment, and were trapped in the now burning underground base. Meanwhile the hackers had been secretly taken back into Secret Operations to teach hackers in training.

The tank was struck one, two, three... six times before finally slowing down and blowing up. The APCs started a retreat while firing their autocannons at full speed, Infatry tried to keep up with them and using everything they had to keep the attackers down, casualties were already piling up and a distress signal had been sent to High Command.

He left this sitting on the top of the sink in the men's room for his contact to pick up, before heading down to customs, confident that he would pass through without much trouble. He was, after all, here on the business of the government these bearucrats reported to. Moving into the correct line, he waited to be processed.

Several minutes later, a man dressed in a trenchcoat entered the men's room and took the envelope.

Customs

When the Coyote's turn arrived, he looked up to find the face of the man that had hired him. Smiling, he took the Coyote into a side room, where they could sit and talk.

The Coyote grinned. "We meet again, for the first and the last time," he quipped. "All right. Down to business I've fufilled the first part of my deal. I think a failed attempt on the package is in order now, in order to further establish my bonafides to my other employers. If I could follow it up with a convincing escape, I'll probably be in the perfect position to complete the second part of my mission." He paused for a moment, and then added, "Do you think you could arrange for me to be shot in the leg? Nothing too serious, but enough to convince our buddies over in U-Land that I'm for real?"

The man laughed and replied:

"Well, the ISS team was taken down a mere hours ago, and Team number 1 is making a high-way chase. As promised, here's the Spec. Ops. equipment" he opened a drawer with some military-looking clothes and several guns "As for the leg-shot, any preferences?, gun?, caliber?"

He paused. "Where is the nearest country with an Undershi embassy anyways?"

Oh, and..." he gestured to the equipment. "I included a mailing address that should stay valid for a week or so in my last report. Could you have those mailed? The circumstances of my leaving your nice country here probably won't allow for much luggage."

1st Team

The team fought - they had all been chosen because they had family and loved ones in the Empire, and they fought because they knew that if they were taken alive, their loved ones would perish upon Underhsi crosses or impaling spikes.
Still, they were doomed from the start...
The paratrooper was the first to die, shot through the window as he blazed away with a submachinegun in each hand. He fell backwards, and was thrown out of the van, merely dead weight with most of his head missing.
The heavyweapons man started to fire then - a light anti-tank rocket, sent flying towards the persuing police vehicles.
He died next, a series of bullets ripping his torso apart.
The sniper died as well, as did the murderor and two of the four spies... but the other two, when their car went off the road, were taken alive, coming out of the car with their hands up.

TWSP Base

Something seems odd about the data from that computer - as far as anyone can tell, all of the data checks out, though.

TWSP Offer

A representative of the Undershi Ministry of Foreign Affairs reluctantly accnowledged that the crash occured, and accepted the offer of the return of the body and of the remains of the crashed fighter.

The Undershi agents were quickly taken in by the CSI and brought to a special prison (OOC: We should make a special thread for that one), the Soviet PD was a little angered at having lost the guys who murdered several of their own, but they let them go with the CSI guys.

OOC: Odd as in?

IC:

In a state ceremony, the Undershi pilot and the remains of the fighter (most of them :p ) were loaded into a special plane and flown to Undershi to be buried.

Aleksander Miller paced nervously, listening to the latest reports. He was... he was not inclined to nervousness, few True Undershis were, but he still found something nervous about the waiting, about the waiting to see whether or not Operation Damoclese had succeded or not.
Finally, more out of frustration than anything else, he turned towards the IIS Major who was his aide and ordered:
"Get me the Technology Team. I want to hear about their plans." the IIS man nodded, and vanished to carry out Aleksander's orders. Aleksander slouched down in his chair as soon as he was alone, and checked the file on his personal computer - it was fairly simple, it seemed. All of their problems depended upon just how eager the TWSP government would be to disperse the newly acquired information. So many things hung in the balance...

SCENE: Omega Task Force (5 SCS Marines)
The strike team dismounted their transport vehicle roughly 1.3km from the zone that The World Soviet Party soldiers had been attacked in. They slowly crept through the brush towards the zone. They prepared their XR-01 BattleRifles and crawled slowly. They reached the edge of the brush to see the sight of the Undershi strike team assaulting The World Soviet Party vehicles. They lined up their sights and checked their programing. They aimed at the heads of several of the Undershi soldiers and pulled their trigger. Sending a rain of 3 bullets at 5 of the Undershi Soldiers. They then slowly crawled backwards into the brush and disappeared.

Aleksander Miller listened to the computer specialists giving their lecture, but with only half his mind. The other half... that half worried. The teams he had ordered sent into TWSP had fallen out of contact. He could only wonder and worry about whether or not the plan would work. It was all up in the air now... he hoped it worked. Too many good men would have died for nothing, otherwise.

My bad. didn't see that stuff.

And i've been thinking about DPR's and i'll do it, I just need to draw up the prices for them. I'll probably make it also available to most of the Membership of each alliance that i'm with. Although the DPR's will be to the versions at my storefront and not the versions that are used by my Nations Marine Corps. In which everything is a little slower than the real versions.

Someone needs to bring me up to speed on this whole thing, cause I didn't check it for a day and a half and i'm lost now.

IC: The Coyote's leg hurt a lot more than he remembered being shot like that should, and he needed a drink. He hadn't managed to get one on the plane, largely by virtue of being concealed in the luggage compartment with an oxygen mask.

But the Undershi embassy was just ahead. He paused at the gate, glancing about to see if he could locate the inevitable security camera, while at the same time making sure it could notice him, and then removed the hat from his head, crossed the street, and sat down, placing the hat before him. He drew a harmonica from a pocket in his coat, and began playing, while waiting to be collected.

Undershi Embassy

The inevitable happened quickly enough - two Regular Army soldiers came out, and silently lifted him onto their shoulders, then carried him into the embassy building, a swift and silent act, done smoothly.
Once he had been taken in, a Medical Officer in Regular Army grey saw to him quickly - checked his wounds, then reapplied bandages. They x-rayed him for bugs - typical Undershi paranoia - then took him into one of the inner rooms of the embassy.
That room was oddly furnished - on the floor there were thick carpets that would have screamed of luxury... had they not been a dull industrial grey. On the wall hung paintings - oil paintings done in a very realistic manner. They depicted subjects that seemed out of place in oil paintings - a factory, its smoke stacks belching smog into the sky, a collumn of tanks, advancing through the snow... a wide variety of subjects, none of them focused on people.
Any individuals shown seemed small and pitiful - little black splotches running alongside the massive deadly dull grey tanks, little black splotches marching into the factory... they were shown as small and altogether insignificant.
A normal, unaugmented, human waited for him. That individual seemed a servant of some sort - she wore a featureless grey smock of the same shade as the uniforms the guards had worn.
When the Medical Officer brought him into the room, she wordlessly offered a tray. On it was a bottle of some clear liquid and a plate of what looked depressingly like field rations.
Once he had had a few moments to make his selection, she intoned in a dull dead tone:
"The Ambassador regrets to inform you that it will be several minutes before he will be able to speak to you." she fell silent, and stood there like a deactivated machine.
The Medical Officer had vanished by then, leaving him to take one of the comfortable looking dull grey chairs and wait.
If he took time and examined the woman, he would have noticed a band of metal across the back of her neck, that looked to have been surgically attatched to her flesh. A little red light glowed along its back - like some foul parody of a "low battery" light on an electronic device.
That was what the Undershi did... they reduced people to nothing more than so many clocks or flashlights or radios.

"That's quite alright, darling," said the Coyote, settling down in one of the chairs. "I'm in no particular hurry, and the ambassador probably isn't going to be thrilled to hear what I have to say. By the by, any chance of a decent hardworking man getting a drink around here? You see, I saw one on the way in, and he looked like he could use one." He chuckled drily at himself, and then added, "Seriously though, I could use a drink."

The servant paused for a moment, and then answered in a dull mechanical voice:
"One moment please." she left the room, and returned a few moments later with a glass bottle containing some sort of amber liquid. She offered the Agent the bottle, and as she did, the Ambassador entered the room.
He was a typical True Undershi, tall and broad shouldered, skin that odd sort of unnatural tan. He smilled as he entered the room, and greeted The Coyote with warmth that seemed almost entierly feigned:
"Hello there, good man. It seems you have some things to talk to me about."
Psalara
07-12-2006, 20:55
"Yes," said the Coyote, momentarily ignoring the amber liquid, and facing the ambassador. "By now whatever facial recognition software you have has identified me as a probable match, plus a beard and a spot more hair, for the man you hired in Psalara. Therefore, I assume you have the security clearance for what I'm about to tell you."

He paused, brushing a piece of dust from his trenchcoat, before continuing. "I entered The World Soviet Party without much trouble, using a perfectly valid passport, and the excuse of vacationing from my work. Once in the country, I was able to obtain a firearm through a contact I developed some years ago. I reached the vincinity of the compound without much trouble. I was able to breach the outer perimeter without being spotted by any guards. However, on attempt to breach the inner perimeter, I was discovered, and sustained the wound your medical officer treated."

He paused again, drawing a flask from inside his trenchcoat and taking a small sip before replacing it.

"I regret to report that at that time I was captured, and unable to complete the mission. While in transport to a holding facility, by subtle questioning of one of the two men guarding me, I was able to determine that two other Undershi initiatives had failed, and all agents involved were either dead or captured. Shortly thereafter, I escaped, and was able to conceal myself in a luggage compartment aboard a plane headed to this country. So, I was unable to recover the computer core, but then, I suppose that was the plan all along.”
