Two questions: How big's the yield, how wide is the blast radius?

Extra Bonus Question: How soon can you ship fifteen million of them?

Two questions: How big's the yield, how wide is the blast radius?

Extra Bonus Question: How soon can you ship fifteen million of them?

The actual blast radius is 20 yards but there will be an concussive shockwave and heatwave of:
2000 degree heat @ 25 yards
950 degree heat @ 32 yards
399 degree heat @ 40 yards
We can ship next Friday.

Order confirmed, but that will take time. Give us 1 year 5 months and 12 hours to ship

how safe is it? Will it expload with a hard enough colision
No, it needs to be penetrated by an incendiary AP bullet or a DU round to explode.

So we need to throw them over 40 yards in five seconds? Hm. We'll take a million at first. That'll be US$150,000,000 - the money has been wired.

I can only see a promising future for this weapon in the hands in extremist and freedom fighters, and in that case I'll take about 400 of them. just to see how well they can be used in a high stressful combat situation.

The funds will be wired to you as soon as the order has been confirmed

Looks like a compressed gas tank hooked up to a grenade detonator...

Technincally, if what is inside contains hydrogen, then it is a hydrgen bomb, but not in the WMD sense.

I'll stick with thermobaric and blast/fragmation hand grenades...

Potential buyers: read the fine print.

toss through a window, masonry wall should protect you, :headbang:  or give it to flamethrower troops who are wearing heat resistant suits

All orders confirmed.

Order confirmed if you mean ($150,000,000)

Official Neoman Response

We find these M-999 Hydrogen Bombs a extremely dangerous and volatile concoction. We strongly urge The Phoenix Milita's government to rethink the ecological and moral consequences of offering this new weapon, however brilliant to the open market.

The Neoman Government does not condemn the research and deployment of this weapon but the facts are clear. If a terrorist nation/faction were to get a hold of one...

We wish that you limit the number of weapons sold, and preform national back round checks for all potential buyers.

Corporations within our nation manufacture and disseminate weapons of all kinds to all nations and people and are permitted by our laws to do so as long as those customers are not blacklisted or marked as a direct threat to ourselves or close allies. If your enemies come into possession of weapons made in or by TPM, or by companies owned by TPM citizens but manufactured in different nations, it is your own damn problem. Thank you.

Oh, so giving fifty of them to twenty-five different far-right terror groups was a bad idea?

Never mind, I'm sure nothing bad'll happen.

Many thanks for delivery of our hand grenades - and we'll take another ten million for a total of US$1,500,000,000. Money has been wired.

You'd have to be a good quarterback to throw it far enough not to get pwned by the blast. This isn't a WMD, anyway.

Don't be so sure nothing will happen, a lot was sold with out screening. And there is a lot of evil people out there just waiting to strike....

ooc: just to point out, this is a "hydrogen bomb" only in that it has hydrogen which undergoes combustion. No nuclear reactions, just hydrogen bonding with *Oxygen*, same principal as the space shuttle engines (except stupider, since it's handheld)

You won't get nearly the yields you're quoting TPM.

Although it does rival the atomic hand grenade in terms of sheer lack of foresight.

40 yards might be a good estimate for fragmentation, however.

Hydrogen really just goes 'bang' and it would work best as a frag grenade, not a HE one. And it's hardly atomic, as No Endorse mentioned.
The Phoenix Milita

who claimed it was atomic?

hydrogen bonding with water, wtf?

water is H2O, if you bond water to it it becomes H3O, no longer water that we can drink. If you burn pure hydrogen the flames bond the Hydrogen molecules to the open airs oxygen molecules making water. If Hydrogen bonds to water it is no longer water that we all know and love.

hydrogen bonding with water != hydrogen bonding with oxygen ...

How do you stop the hydrogen bleeding out? It'd have to be under huge amounts of pressure and even then...You'd lose some every day.
Also Hydrogen wouldn't make that big of a bang with so little gas.

:P Hydronium anyone? GO GO GADGET ACID-BASE REACTIONS! But yeah, that should have read oxygen.
