Freedom my brothers! On this most glorious day we have prevailed! We have driven out the corrupt regime of the Premier! We have brought both Kappelia and Utvara under one flag! The flag of freedom!

Rejoice in your homes my brothers and sisters, but I am afraid I must inform you that martial law is in effect. The spies and soldiers of the Premier are still among us and we will stop at nothing to drive them out.

((OOC: I'm back! :o Don't worry, I'm still going to be a troublemaker... Just without the Premier. Is the CA still up?))

((OoC: Bump!))

The transition had been nearly seamless; This was mostly due to the fact that there was not much of a transition. The power was still held in the hands of one man… It was even the same man. The Premier had dropped his title and disappeared from the public, but the Council was composed of actors.

While the Quietmen were gone from the public’s eye, similar projects, more inhumane and terrifying were being researched. Hundreds of thousands were brought in each day for crimes, most were released. Those that were not were sent to the vast labs…

Except for the executions. Though the anthems and banners were different, the executions still happened in every city. There was to be one execution per hour in every major city. Black and Hispanic men were the main targets, though even children’s blood covered the streets.

Such was life in the Empire. The Church remained a symbol of divine justice. The words had been changed, and countless figures killed, but still the Church did what other branches of the government could not; It gave citizens more than mortal fear. It gave them the fear of eternity.

Throughout the Husk new cities were being built, some domed and some underground. Flying Fortresses soared overhead always, and as usual, it was difficult to find a spot where one could not be seen from outdoors.

Telescreens were still visible at all times when in cities, and if one managed to get into the country, one could bet that they were being listened to by hidden microphones and watched by satellite.

Sex was still a crime against purity, and men were, as always, required to produce semen once per month. Urine samples were automatically tested to check for impotency, narcotics, and sexual activities from sex to masturbation.

And worst of all, explosives now regularly fell from the skies, devastating small villages and providing something to brag about on the telescreens.
