The nation of Caluichstan is looking to have a war with another nation that falls within the population of 5 million to 40 million. The basis for this war would be that Caluichstan is an Arab nation that has found huge deposits of oil under its border and therefore a wealthy moderate sized nation wants to take the oil resources from Caluichstan because it is a small nation, it is an Arab nation that would only use the resources to finance terrorism, or so they would claim, and just because they may wanted to get involved in an nternational conflict because the people at home might not like the government so what better way then to get rid of them by slapping a uniform on them and sending them out to conflict.

However, other nations can get involved in the conflict as well. It doesn't matter which size. They can either provide aid to Caluichstan or to the other nation because they may be of the same ideology or feel that Arabs don't deserve oil or anything. Or these other nations could work around a political system to end the conflict, and finally they may just have interests in the oil deposits and want a nationalized company to get some of those resources.

If you want to have a war with Caluichstan post here. If you want to be an ally, or anything else with regards to the conflict, post here and explain what your nation would be doing and you will be accepted as long as Caluichstan and the other nation approve.

P.S. I would approve anyone.

Urm, what date is this? Atopiana's own internal time-frame is on 2126 at the moment, starting from AD 1991...

We've got 1.086 billion people, a fascist government, and will happily provide military aid to Caluchistan. :)

It is modern. I would assume that that age could be doable.

Id very much like in on this. I would happily field an invasion force, with another nation allied to me (whoever shows up). Because oil isnt enough to wage war due to our strong trade links, we would forge some evidence about something in an Iraq style war.

However, I am approaching 100million population, but wouldnt obviously send in my whole military unless some people came to defend you.

I can team up with The Aslanic Mountains but, at 3.2 billion, it would be rather cruel to invade Caluichstan.. Maybe I could help TAM in secret with small SpecialOps contingents and intelligence, and defend him if his mainland is attacked?

It would be a Bay of Pigs type of scenario for my country..

Special Ops and small batches of troops would be okay. I don't see any problem in that.

Corporation Security forces will defend until the situation gets bad, then they go and cry to the government which will proberly send in a fleet or two.

Okay guys, I don't know why but oil is a pet peeve.
8 billion barrels isn't a lot of oil, it is chump change.
Saudi Arabia has over two-hundred BILLION barrels of oil in reserve and pumps some 10 million barrels per day.
Of course Saudi Arabia is at the high end of the scale, but even low-level producers produce 50-100 thousand barrels of oil a day.

It's still a valuable resource and, if conquering the entire country will come at a cost that can be hugely outweighed by the profits from the sale, then why the heck not? ;)

With regard to my last IC post, think of the E-15 transport as a jet powered equivalent of a C-130 Hercules. It is NOT, note, NOT a Hercules. The Hercules simply happens to be the closest real-life equivalent of the E-15. As you would expect of a medium transport, it lacks offensive capabilities, but is loaded with state-of-the-art navigation and radar-avoidance technologies.

How I get it into Caluichstan will depend wholly on what Caluichstan looks like. I have not worked out the strategy for my involvement yet.

The E-30 is the equivalent of an E-3 AWACS. But this is for your information only, it has absolutely nothing to do with the storyline.

Caluichstan is about the size of what I say Michagan. It has a mountainous northern part which is seperated by an extremely large sea called the Caluich sea. Then there is the southern, western and eastern areas which is usually plain that have some sand dunes and rich oil areas in the south.

The capital is on the southern edge of Caluich sea, but would still be considered central Caluichstan.

I dont understand the Clandonian Prime responses. Have they not said there will be no support for the corporation, and therefore me making an attack on the coporation, as I am doing, not concern them. Im not making any attacks on civilians as I was aware.

There has a been a revolution in my country where all corporation assets were placed under the control of the military. So basically your attacking the military of Clandonia Prime now.

OOC:I'm new to the whole NS thing, and pretty much a novice to RPing, although I delved into it a bit when i was younger. With that being said, forgive me if I shouldn't be posting in here or anything like that.

But, if you don't mind, I'd like to join in on this. My country would probably initially offer its support (not military support yet, mind you) to Caluichstan, and condemn any nation who would seek to use military force.

I think that'd be the best way for me to go about it. That way, I can jump in later, when I get a better feel for how things are done in the NS world.
