The nation of the Communist State of Maldaathi wishes to request membership into NATO. We request you over look our political tendencies and allow us to join the organization.

Political leanings and tendancies are one of the things that is the basis for approval. Your request is so laughable that I smiled for a half second before I recomposed myself.

Best watch yourself there, my political tendencies allow me to declare war at the drop over a hat over any little thing I like.

The Empire percieves the ruler of this 'Maldaathi' to be among the lowest dregs of society, least of which because of their communist agenda, which is considered threatening to all capitalist and imperialist systems on Earth.

This ruler has either a problem with perception or is just plain braindead and his handlers were too busy changing his diaper to keep him from making a fool of himself with the microphone in front of his face.

If this ruler has any balls, they will do as they threaten and declare war. If they have any brains, they will immediatly make a formal apology and make sure to never cross the Empire again.

The Emperor awaits a reply with noticable indifferance.

You can't force him to reply. If he's busy with stuff IRL then you should respect his wishes and give him time and not try to push and push him to respond to your demands. Continually forcing him into a corner to respond just makes you look more and more like a noob.

If time is what he asks for then time is what you should give him.
