Protesters in the Capital, Lebanon, waving the Willinkian flag, demand that Costanza step down.


Lebanon, Willink (WNR) – Masses of protesters, assisted by branches of the military overthrew the government of President Ryan Costanza late this afternoon, as the governmental approve ratings dropped to an all time low 17%. This comes amid a new document alleging that the party passed legislation illegally to limit the political rights of the citizens of Willink.

After the parliament ordered Costanza to step down, he blatantly refused and barricaded himself within the capital building; attempts to contact him were futile.
Under the cover of darkness he was evacuated via helicopter to the Lebanon National Airport, before leaving the country.

The military branches , led by ex-Rousell Administration Vice President Tyler Schadt, declared control of the country, and immediately set up an intrem government. Schadt promises a sincere, democratic government free of oppression and tyranny.

The parliament was dissolved, constitution abolished, and martial law enforced for the time being.

At the current moment, we are awaiting a statement by Schadt that will give an outline of the nations future. We will have more information as it becomes available.

We congratulate the people of Willink for taking control against an executive who has abused his power. However, we are all concerned about a return to democracy, and asks that no more than 3 years be spent on restructuring the government.

We will, for two reasons, intervene with Icovir. We firstly feel that this situation is one that will not benefit the people and fear that the nation could fall into ruins. Secondly, we are an ally of Icovir, and therefore feel that intervention with them especially due to the Leafanistani resistance is wholly justified.

We have troops waiting, ready to respond with a reply from the Icovir government.

First off, I will say I congratulate the people of Willink for toppling a leader who has abused their power, for a government is made to serve the people not have the people serve it. I am absolutely positive that Willink we be able to handle this situation ALONE and without foriegn intervention.

With that said, Willink, in the eyes of the Imperial Repulic of HailandKill is still a SOVEREIGN nation with rights. It is not at this time a nation at war with itself, or even a collapsed or destroyed nation. In that light, ANY attempts to make a government by a foreign hand will be treated as an act of aggresion upon a Killian ally and will force HailandKill to intervene as it seems fit.

If any more acts of aggression disguised at "peace" attempts are made by any government a Killian naval taskforce will be deployed to Willinkian national waters and will protect Willink from any non-allied nation from entering its national waters.

We do not want war, but will not hesitate to fight it.

New Government appointed


Today Minister Scharfe announced a barrage of changes, ranging from the new Rousell Royal family to the new leaders of the nation;

*Stephen Walker, the new Head of State.
*Sandra Metcalf, new Head of Administrative Duties.
*Collin Peterson, the new Head of Foreign Affairs.
*Frank Abbot, the new Head of National Defense.
*Jason Quay, the new Surgeon General of the State
*Meghan Walters, the new Judicial General.


The new flag of the nation was soon thereafter reviled, causing a roar of joy from the crowd of an estimated 60,000 packed into the little square.

Martial law was refuted, and the new government, featuring a New National Assembly replacing the parliament that the nation has been led by for over 52 years.

Peterson made a strong speech during his inauguration, threating that: “The military will use it's full capabilities to defend our nation against those who wish to “Intervene” despite the fact that we have no relations with them whatsoever”
