The commercial was aired on any television channel that would carry it. It began with a view of a sandy arena, under the harsh noonday sun. Crowds in the arena cheered. Then the voice over- that of a seductive sounding woman- began.
There are many games of strength and skill.
A man, naked except for a small loincloth, and carrying a large mace in his hands emerged from one end of the arena. The camera focused in on him.
But only the strongest, the fastest, the best are willing to put everything, their very life on the line.
A much smaller man, in leather armor, and carrying a rapier emerged from the other side of the arena.
