Into the Reichstag marches an angry delegate. The delegate approaches the office of Der Fuhrer of the Fourth Holy Reich. He knocks on the door, and is summoned in.

Hieldsman hands to Der Fuhrer several maps taken from several different flights. He looks at each carefully, for several moments.

One has to remember that the North Koreans in RL also have Nukes and they dont trade with anyone....

As for the budgets, I would like to know where you got your numbers so as i can disreguard them. I use the currency Ruble which happens to be quite inflated at the moment....but none the less is how we would pay in cash for our services. Not in these US Dollars.

And Finally we have purchased our rocketry from our comrades in the region.

The nation known as The Fourth Reich has by flying spy aircraft in our airspace violated our national sovereignty. I have ordered the People's Liberation Army on Standby. Also our Submarines have been activated. By Order of the Politburo, In emergency session at 2025 hours New Stalingrad time, all reserve personnel are ordered to report to their base. The Ministry of Transport has authorized that all transport for EPLA, EPLN, EPLAF personnel in uniform will recive free transport to their base of opperations and will stand by for further orders from the Krimlin.

Gosplan, has anounced that it will submit to the individual soviets its projections for required warfare prodcuction. Also the Citizen bread, vodka, chocolate, and clothing rations will be reduced but Gosplan will have to rework its projections in the comming days...there will be anouncements in Pravda, and Iskara concerning the rationing situation for civilians.

The Supreme Soviet will be conveining tomorow to consider a general draft for the People's Liberation Armed Forces.

I must ask that the people contenue on their day to day affairs without worrying about this potential war. We are now enguaged with in-region diplomacy to bring in our Allies, and Have Telegramed the offending nation of the possible outcome caused by their irresponsible actions.

Anouncer: Wow, that was some speach by our dear leader comrades, by order of the Minister of Information we will return you to your regularly scheduled programing, following a few breif anouncements from the Ministry of Information.

It has been orderd by the Ministry of Defense that volunteers for the People's Liberation Armed Services may sign up by mail, or by visiting their local police station for the paperwork.

He was afraid the spies may have gotten caught, but he shoved the idea into the back of his mind.

The Sultan, however, is a paranoid person. He brought along his Surtur-C (A Carbine Weapon) and he ordered 30 fighter aircraft to escort his transport plane; "Air Force One".

The Fourth Holy Reich has invaded our airspace with their jet fighters and Ellelt is doing nothing more than preparing to defend herself should the Fascist Imperialists choose to attack us.

We actually do not wish to particpate in this at this time....and the NSeconomy doesnt take into consderations such as different modes of production. We really were not interested in this war...however we were attacked and yes we will defend ourselves...however we are rather having ourselves being thrown into the fire....without preparation on this level...i was working on bringing up my economy....but the thing is that nseconomy which btw tends to lag by upto 12 hours. My economy has streanthened considerably from where it was when i loged in this afternood from where it was this morning.

As for using us dollars...we still mine with convict labor. the thing about convict labor is you dont pay them....that they get enough to eat is payment enough. Our science is highly subsidized and we have worked out sweetheart deals with our regional allies. All of which the NSE does not take into account.

The Fourth Holy Reich would currently be in uproar. Again and again throughout the day, the same video would play on all tv stations in the Reich again...and again...and again...a video of five men wearing Ellelt's military uniforms assassinating 4 of the Reich's low ranking officials (who weren't really the Fuhrer's good friends anyhow).

The five men had been seized by police, and publically executed...by hanging. The four men who had been assassinated are being paraded through the streets in a solemn procession...finally stopping in front of a Cathedral in Berlin, their caskets placed in front of a podium, where the Fuhrer would currently be standing.

Fuhrer: "Comrades...I didn't want zis! I wanted peace! I have exhausted every effort to prevent zis sort of thing from happening, but LOOK AT WHAT THEY WANT TO DO TO US! The Reich's forces would begin to assemble.

All of the land forces would assemble near hamburg...just outside the city. their numbers would be as follows:

Near Berlin, 10 long ranged missile batteries would turn their aim towards Ellelt, each armed with 10 nuclear warheads...and each operated by and gaurded by 10 soldiers.

Deutschmarines:

Throughout various points in the waters in and around Berlin would be 1000 submarines, traveling in packs of 25, each operated by 10 men.

Likewise, a small fleet of ships, namely 10 battle ships (50 men each), 100 aircraft carriers (50 men each), and 10 destroyers (50 men each), would travel together up and down the English channel.

LufteWaffe:

In the German skies, there would currently be 20,000 jet fighters (1 pilot and 4 man crew on the ground) and 20,000 bombers (1 pilot, 2 gunmen, 7 man crew on the ground).

Total: 40,000 aircraft, 300,000 soldiers.

Overall total:

3,616,100 soldiers.

The wolf packs (the submarines) would begin search and destroy missions, looking for Elleltian craft. They would sail beneath the waters, their sonars looking for signs of Elleltian say...destroyers...battleships...SUBS...the above ground ships sailing just above the midst of them.

Most of the luftewaffe ( 10,000 jets and the 20,000 bombers) would move into Ellert territory, seeking out the military targets already found out from the previous reconnaissance runs, moving to bomb strategic targets such as air bases, military bases, missile batteries, and naval docks. The jets staying close by the bombers, preparing to shoot down any missiles or aircraft attempting to take them out.

The other fourth of the Luftewaffe (the 10,000 jets) would patrol German skies in large packs so as to protect it against missile attacks.

The Wehrmact would begin a slow advance towards Ellelt's border.

The missile batteries would remain inactive.

The time has now come for either glory or defeat. The 10,000 bombers and 5,000 fighters would now have crossed into Elleltian lands. Several bombs would drop from each bomber as the masses of air units sweep over Eltian lands...moving to fall (if successful and unhindered) down upon such targets as missile batteries, military barracks, recruitment stations, military landing strips, and naval docks. The 5,000 would stay close to the bombers, prepared to fire missiles and machine gun fire at oppossing aircraft and/or anti aircraft missiles.

In the wake of the bombers and the fighters would drive in the 30,000 panzer divisions into Elleltian lands, firing explosive charges and gunfire into any oppossing military forces and fortifications from afar, trying to push in.

Behind the tanks would march the 500,000 infantry men and 25,000 officers, wielding assault rifles, stick grenades, and luger side arms. They would march in the wake of the tanks, firing at any remaining resistance, and moving on deeper into Ellelt (if successful).

5 nukes would be sent from the batteries near Berlin towards the more populated areas of the Eastern Ellelt.

The thousand submarines sweep across Ellelt waters, firing on all enemy ships.

5,000 fighters remain in Berlin to protect against areal and missile attacks.

Now in Berlin, Der Fuhrer waits anxiously for news from the Front Line.

ON THE BATTLE FRONT:

On the western most front of Ellelt, ruined Elleltian anti ank guns, military barrackses, missile batteries, and naval docks, as well as Elleltian roads and telephone lines ...alongside a few thousand planes lie in smoking ruins. (Remaining number of planes...9 thousand fighters, 7 thousand bombers)

The battleships and destroyers of the Reich sail down near Leningrad, beginning a bombardment campaign, submarine packs traveling below, the 500 submarines not traveling with the destroyers and subs) setting up an embargo in the Baltic. Massive shells begin to fall upon Leningrad factories and ports, the 30 thousand panzers making a mad push towards Leningrad, moving at top speed there.

20,000 freshly trained recruits unload onto Leningrad on newly manufactured amphibious transports, unloading immediately after the Leningrad bombardment begins...charging onto the shore with grenades and assault rifle fire. On the other side of the city, explosive charges from the approaching panzers fall upon the government buildings (and opposing soldiers?).

500 fighters fly overhead, providing airsupport for the invading forces, dive bombing the citizens (and soldiers?) of Leningrad.

Meanwhile, the 500,000 soldiers and 25,000 officeers march down towards Serpovia.

My my...didnt do well in Geography did you, also you didnt read the basic conventions concerning amphibious assaults, since you left from hamburg which is on the north sea coast of germany it would take at least 2 months to assemble the equipment there and an other month for it to have been transported to the Leningrad area. Also for the express purposes for this RP Serpovia takes up most of Central Asia and I occupy Russia, Belarus, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Ukrane. Refugees are streaming east towards New Stalingrad and the rapidly industrializing east on foot while the latest anti-aircraft gus are ariving by rail. Fortunately for Ellelt the destroied equipment was left-over from the Tsarist times and therefore obsolete, and lacking in full ammunition capacity.

General Zhuskev of the Belarut front orders that the most rapid speed be used in replacing them in preparation for the next nights bombardment.

Zhuskev: Damned fascist pig-dogs. Colonel, make sure the men are informed that if retreat is necessary we are to burn the fields, factories, and destroy anything of value. We will leve for these bastards nothing but scortched earth.

Colonel: Understood Comrade General. Also, Comrade General, the prisoners have been taken to Lubiyanka for further questioning by the CEA.

Zhuskev: Very well...I hope they come to appreciate Elleltian hospitality.

The Leningrad Front:

In the streets of Leningrad the Forces of the reich have landed with little or no activity, infact the entire city seems to be deserted...seems too. But of course it would...the bulk of the population evacuated leaving only men and boys aged 15-75 who are not already in the PTDF or PLA

Sgt. Gudyev of the the PTDF hiding in the basement of the CEA HQ in the city, right on the main square waits patently...patently for the bulk of the reich Infantry forces to reach the main square and capture the local CEA and Party HQ's. The panzers not yet unloaded.

Finally the vast majority of them after they enter the city square the order is given, on the Loud Speakers of the city: "The Red Sun is Rising".

As one the forces of the PTDF open fire shooting thru the windows of the basements of the Governmental HQ's wounding the stunned reich troops and from Nevshensky Prospect a massive wall of citizens charge at the stuned troops with broomhandles with ketchen knives duct taped to them in a massive do or die charge. Sreaming the While "For the Motherland For Comrade Serpov!!!" as many of them charge to their deaths, and their glory.

After the intial stunning of the Reich forces the second wave of attack comming from the north with Machinegunners from the PLA moe down many of the reich personel...and capture many many more.

Meanwhile in the harbor the remaining remnents of the landing forces are being sunk by a submurged attack by the PLN using their submarines...The destroyers deploying depth charges to defend themselves but the invasion forces traped in the harbor. And to the glory of Ellelt many of the bombarding battleships and destroyers are sunk.

In the Skys over Leningrad the People's Liberation Air Forces scramble to shot down as many fighters as they can and destroy as much...but having older and slower planes they are not as successful, but the final way to take care of them is the responsiblity of the PLN.

(Land Casalties Ellelt: Civilians 27,569, PTDF 357 men and officers, PLA 150 men. Reich: 7000 Killed, 10,000 wounded, 3,000 captured.)

Im not sure how nutral nations would work in this rp. I will leave that to Ellelt to decide. However the fact would remain that you would have to invade poland to even reach Ellelt which is taking up the majority of space that was occupied by the soviet union. OOC: I am not sure about the "full unemployment rate." I thought it was pretty much standard practice to go with the .05 rate. The reasoning being that I bring that up: Can you really afford to equip 20 percent of your population?

Also, when you make up the factbook or whatever, keep in mind that we'll probably both have allies not mentioned at this point in time. For example, I'll probably have mercenaries from a certain capitalist country I'll not now name, the military assistence of a fellow Catholic country, and the military assistence of a certain other Fascist country I'll not now name. So just make sure that you keep in unexpected allies in consideration.

I have taken that into consideration. The fact books will be written in a sign up thread. and will be posted about in both Reich crisis and in this tread. Mercenaries will be permitted provided that no mercenary may enter the war zone after the start of the war, once they're used up they're used up sorry bout your luck there. Of course drafting personnel will provide that there is a contenuing influx of people but that will be 10% of the difference of the population before the current turn began and the begining of the turn.

I have selected 21 November 2006 as the commence date of the war (allowing a full six days to take notice and sign up). Interested nations can sign up. After the begin date of the war...the sign up will be closed and the war thread will start...and it will be a closed war thread. Meaning that Nations which are not on the sign up list...will not be able to participate in the war. They can observe, they can comment, but not participate.

Further, This war will be European Theater only....Japan/china/non-soviet Asia besides the middle east will not be available to those wishing to participate. Its all in the fact book which i wrote up today...because thankfully my boss called and told me that i needn't come in today because it was dead slow where i work.

The fact book will also determine turn and time passage...one full tern being a week. For example Ellelt, The Reich, Serpovia, Western Hemisphre, and Brydog signing up---would make the turn Reich, Ellelt, Serp, WH, Brydog and after brydog finishes what he does the next week of the war will start upon the Reich's next allowed move. Any countries not claimed will be considered neutral, neutral nations will not attack but should they be attacked they will defend themselves. Once those countries are eleminated...they are out...but whom ever attacks the neutral first shall have their enemy RPing the neutral's side, there by making them a de facto ally.

also there will be an OOC thread in nation states, for bitching since I doubt we will be able to do this without numerous OOC statements.
