Well, I've been thinking about starting a Halo thread....so I will. It'll take place before the Battle of Reach, so we can all still be Spartans without too much trouble. I've decided to ban anybody from being Covenant characters, simply because I want to keep them a 'mysterious' enemy.
The basic plot outline is a group of Elite Spartans(oxymoron?) is sent to a planet deep within Covenant space to recover some files from a crashed Covenant cruiser, containing details on Covenant technology that could, if turned over to UNSC hands, turn the tide of the war.
I haven't worked out everything, but these are the rules so far.
-Spell check, spell check, spell check.
-No putting other peoples characters into situations they do not consent to.
-No Omniscient characters. Your character won't know everything there is to know about another, know every single detail of the battlefield, etc.
-There will be character deaths, so don't get too attached to your own. That doesn't mean I will kill people off randomly, just giving everyone a heads up.

Background: He was drafted at five, and had no memories of his parents. All he knew was training, this would be his first actually battle. If it went like the simulators then Culken had nothing to worry about, but if i wasnt. Then... then Culken might be screwed....

Description: Wears standard teal armour. Muscular man with a chiselled face, bald and clean shaven.
Background: Drafted at five years of age after showing remarkable potential in the private school his rich parent’s enrolled him in. He took to UNSC training easily and advanced quickly. He has seen a fair bit of active duty and has risen to the rate of Petty Officer First Class.
