The Supreme Confederate Jonathan Connelly sat upon his chair. The elected leader of the Confederation had just won the election for the position to be the executive leader of the Confederation. The celebration in the Confederate Palace had been a pig one as his fellow party members celebrated their victory over the isolationist party.
The people of the Confederation had initially lived as a isolated state under the conservative fist of the Isolationist party. This all ended with the election of Jonathan Connelly the head of the Externalist party. The two party’s had been bitter enemies since the founding of the Confederacy.
The victory for the Externalist was not one to be proud of they had employed some dirty shots in the election. They had secretly negotiated with Crime Boss Don Tony Garazoni to beat their opposition. The notorious Crime Boss made the Isolationists party members and their followers an offer they could not refuse. They were given bribes and told to rig the elections in favor of their rivals. If they refused to follow the Boss’s order they would have a really bad election campaign.
This had prompted the Externalist the easy win despite being slightly in favor of the Isolationists. They few people that protested the outcome were silenced by the Mob.
The Supreme Confederate Jonathan Connelly sent a message to the International Community to let them know that the time of Isolation was at an end…

The Legislative and Executive branches of the Confederation would like to end our Isolation and begin relations with foreign governments. The Confederation would love to start an embassy exchange programs to promote the exchanging of ideas and culture between our nation and yours.
