He sat there. The nations of the world would be noticing they existed sooner or later and he just sat there.

"Your Majesty?" He turned towards the voice of an aide. He never really noticed the aides before, too much worrying to do.

"Your Majesty we have people to talk to."

"Couldn't the Ministries handle this one?"

"Fraid not sir, the reporters are just waiting for you."

Fine, he'd go and talk to the outside world. What would happen? He didn't know, wasn't sure....and honestly didn't care for now. He'd been looking over possible mining contracts on his desk and the bid from GallCo. and Sons looked promising.

He was the very first truly independent King and it scared him.

Flashes from the cameras caused him to blink momentarily as he realized he must've been thinking the whole way up here. Ah well, better get to it now.

"Alright! I would first like to thank everyone for coming to the first ever completely independent Sternsi Press Conference. So, what do you want to know?"

OOC: Okay, cool. And what is his majesty's title? King? Emporer?

A Reporter from HWA, Hillian World Affairs, saw his majesty come to him and his fellow men and women in the news industry. He quickly called out, "Your Majesty, what are you planning to do with your new found power?"

"In response to the good man from HWA we would like for Sternsland to become a player in African and then eventually world politics and I myself am interested in the development of new solar cell technologies for our growing navy."

"Your Majesty, what do you intend to do with your Navy? Project Sternland's power across the globe?"

"Well, the navies would be used to protect our trading interests and our fishing fleets as well as our coastline. As to the remark about power I am surprised we had any and I'm the King.....okay not as funny as I thought it would be.

The HWA reporter once again asked a question, "How do you plan to rule this nation? What are your veiws on things like abortion, war, and so on?"

OOC: Can I get a map of your nation if you have one?

"Well, Sternsland has an interesting political situation. As head of state I am also Head of Parliament, which is unicameral. As for war, we would like to avoid it though we are not above maintaing a military. Other than that we are fairly liberal and have lax immigration policies, anyone want to sign up?"

OOC: My nation is currently pretty much Equatorial Guinea with a few miles of Southern Cameroon.

"Do you wish to epand Sternland's foreign relations with other countries?"

"Well, yes of course. We would love to talk to other nations."

An aide rushes up from behind a nearby curtain and whispers in the King's ear.

"Aha, well Sternsland's stock market recently opened and three algae farms are set to go online in the next year. Good investments all around. If you all would be so kind as to pass that information on to your respective governments that would be great.

So, anymore questions?"

"I'm a reporter from the Democratic Constitutional Monarchy of Maraque, and there is a lot of speculation back there that the government may seek an economic alliance with your nation, with you being a small and vulnerable nation, and Maraque undeniably being one of the wealthiest, it would prove to be excellent for your people. Do you have any comments about this rumor?"

"Well, Sternsland is always open to economic investment, and yes we have heard about Maraque becoming increasingly interested in our new open markets. We welcome the government of Maraque in and hope that they receive plenty for their investments."

"So, anymore questions?"

"Your Majesty, I'm Luciana Cortez from GNN News what will the foreign policey of your nation be, in a more general sense?"

"Well, we won't start wars but we will shoot back. I hope that answers your question."

"No I'm afraid that didn't. What I mean is what will your foreing policey is. Natrually no nation want's to start war, and war is common thing but I mean more along the line with interaction with other nations, fellowships and allyship more along thoes lines. Also you mentiond you are a liberal nation, how liberal would you say, Moderate or Far Left, could you describe some of your internal polices?"

"Well, as of now we have a rather open and straight forward foreign policy, do you want to invest in Sternsland? If so then we would love to talk to you. Also, as of now we are on the cusp of holding elections to determine the following issues: Universal Healthcare, Gay Marriage, and Corporate Involvement in campaigns for Parliament seats.

It's a shoe-in that the gay marriage one will pass. The other two are currently experiencing a great amount of debate. Now, if you'd like to know about our policies I'll tell you, get the nation started. We're young, not even five years old. We're still trying to make sure everything works."

"Understood, well if you want realtions you will have to contact the Foreing Ministry, I'm just a reporter. Thank you very much."

"Well, how does one get involved with the Foreign Ministry?"

"Very easy. If you want to call our Ministry you can call 10-220-365 and they will set you up."

A well built bald man stood up, his matte black suit and sunglasses gave nothing away about him. With a flat, clear voice he asked
