Wednesday, November 8th, 2006- A brief standoff between Elecan protesters and riot police occured in the Elecan capital of Yatre at approximentaly 5:00 P.M. Elecan Time. The citizens had been protesting for the province of Graztun to become a seperate nation. The protest grew violent so riot police where called in. The protest was broken up in a little over half an hour. 2 citizens where send to hospital with non-lifethreatening injuries and are currently in stable condition. This appears to be a localized incident, with no other protests having occured on that day anywhere in Eleca. The Elecan president declined to comment on the protest.
