OOC: Well, with all these upstart new nations getting nuclear weapons, Hamilay decides something must be done. Give these nations military aid to prevent them from being attacked? Use peaceful means to persuade them from building weapons of mass destruction? No, BUY MORE NUKES! Yay! :p

Teh edit: Sorry, need to go to bed now. School of death and horror. Posts tomorrow.

In today's nuclear world, nations must have a means to defend themselves from weapons of mass destruction. The Democratic Republic of Hamilay is growing increasingly concerned at the number of small and often oppressive nations with nuclear arms able to threaten the Republic or its allies. Following our policy of MAD, to this end we wish to purchase a next-generation ICBM to replace aging Minutemen IIIs and Peacekeepers. The following items would be included in the deal:
- 5,000 units (nuclear-armed)
- a further 4,000 units (no nuclear warheads necessary: warheads from Hamilay's nuclear arsenal will be transferred onto these)
- Domestic Production Rights.
It would be appreciated if any nations wish either to design a missile for us or alternatively direct us to a suitable corporation storefront.

Regards.

Aerospace Logistics currently can offer not too expensive, but very efficient, ABM-resistant missiles V-7.

V-7

V-7 is the most mass-produced Aerospace Logistics space and ICBM system. It applies a solid fuel rocket with payload of 32 tonnes to the Low Earth Orbit, or 25 tonnes to 500-km orbit. V-7 is highly cost-optimized, using pressing for most of the components, using alloyed steel and polymers instead of more expensive alloys wherever possible, and built on highly automated assembly lines, with minimal line speed 200 per month. The rocket takes 25 days from stage of metal products, chemical components and electronic parts to complete vehicle, using 3-step modular construction and spending only 6 hours average on each line stage. Lines required take a lot of space, use incompatible, but very finely optimized equipment and parts, therefore virtually no outsourcing is possible. V-7 can be only produced on two Aerospace Logistics factories.

With unit production marginal cost about 9 million caps, V-7 allows delivery of any payloads to the orbit at a much lower price than existing expensive liquid fuel rockets. V-7 is a multi-purpose rocket, capable of delivering payloads to any orbits and even to the Moon, as well as transporting up to 35 tonnes of military payload to the surface. V-7 basic variant can be configured, but V-7MIL, V-7LEO, V-7GSO and V-10SOL variants exist, specifically optimized for military purposes, Low Earth Orbit, Geostationary Orbit and other planets of the Solar System.

We can discuss details of the deal here. The normal export price is N$60 mln per V-7MIL without payload.

Please note that V-7MIL, the optimal model for your purposes, is a replacement not for just Minuteman or even Peacekeeper, but for a number of them. With payload of 35 tonnes it can carry a very large number of reentry vehicles, though, of course, most of them are supposed to be decoys.

We can not, however, provide you with production capabilities, as V-7 is a mass production only system. However, production rights for V-5, older and lighter model, can be easily leased.

For payload options, please specify your preferences and priorities, specifically in accuracy, warhead yield, and number of warheads.
