Takes place in May 1944. Hitler's armies are on the run from the Russian bear in the East and the Allies are sweeping up through Italy. Plans of an Allied invasion on France have been made and are still in preperation. Hitler's armies are still battle hardened and well trained and a tough fight is still ahead. A secret research facility in Emden, Germany is working on a devestating new weapon which could turn the tide of war back in the favor the Nazi's. A bold plan is drawn up by the British to destroy this facility before the weapon can be finished. It is a suicidal mission which seems impossible to accomplish. Will the Allies destroy this secret weapon? Or will they fail and the course of the war shift?

His superiors chose him to become a member of the SAS and now he will be in command of the raid.

History: Wilhelm Braun was born in Vienna,Austria, served in Poland, then France and Russia at the beginning of the war. After being attached to the SS unit Totenkopf he was transfered to a Waffen SS unit in Norway tasked with guarding a secret research facility tucked away deep behind Nazi lines. Braun is a good Sergent who is very qualifyed to lead men in the field and has previous combat experiance in afew different fronts being there for key battles, he is a hardened veteran who was wounded once on the Russian front from a bullet wound to the left shoulder.

Braun has a girlfriend back in Austria, his mother, father, two sisters and one brother who is in the local Hitler Youth ranks.

He holds the Iron Cross, Silver wound badge, and the Infantry assualt badge.

Good character, this should be another good rp.

History: Xavier was born in Nicaragua. Looking for a better education his parents sent him to become a British Citizen. He got a Bachlors Degree in Engineering and was planning on going onto his Masters. One of the bombing raids had wiped out his college and he was forced to get a job. He got a job was a bridge engineer near York, Britian. He was drafted at 23 and 11/12 and by the time he had gotten out of boot camp he was 24. Being the oldest, smartest, and sharpest shooter from his boot camp he became a T/5. From their after seeing some action in Africa he was put in the SAS, now he must complete his first mission under the orginization's eyes.

History: Jake was born into a sleepy farm town located in England. Not really notice the war he ignored it. Though he wanted to join the army, but his father was against. Jake was in Egypt visiting some of relatives when Italy declared war on Egypt. When walking the streets he noticed they needed volunteers for the Long Range Desert Group. He joined and fought alongside many people during the course of 3 years. During the time he became familiar with all sorts of radios. Once the group was disbanded he placed in the 50th Infantry Division. He found out that he was going to help with the invasion of Sicily. After the victory he and his division were moved back to England to prepare for Operation Overlord.

The Melehov's SS-Cossacks are here again! This'll be the third RP I play them with, if you let me join that is. Atleast Reallydrunk and Canadstein should remember these guys from Squad Based WW2 RP as well as from the Goodfather RP.


The 2.SS Kosaken-Kavallerie-division has been moved to Netherlands, and its near the city of Emden for rest and refit, after its last 9 months long frontline deployment in the eastern front. Terek-Kosaken-Reiter-Regiment 6 is camping near the city of Emden, and due the particularly high (in Western Europe standards) partisan activity it's being used in operations against them, as well as guarding important facilities such as couple of factories, bridges and railroad stations. 3rd Squadron is given the task of providing extra protection for the Secret Wunderwaffen Facilities. The facility naturally has its own garrison, but the cossacks bolster this force even further.

3rd Squadron's oldest platoon leader, Untersturmführer Pjotr Melehov, happens to be on shift when the unidentified enemy forces start their assault against the facility.

Pjotr Melehov has fought everywhere, and is propably the only man in the world to have earned The Order of The Red Banner and The Star of Hero of Soviet Union PLUS the Iron Cross' Knight Cross. He was there, when Zhukov gave a teaching to the Japanese in Khalkin Gol, deserving the Red Banner medal, and fought against the Finns, becoming a Hero Of SU. He switched sides with the whole regiment in summer 1941, and has fought against the Russians and Yugoslavian, Polish and Belarussian partisans ever since.

He is about 175cm tall man, quite muscular, bearded and scarred - all in all a rather scary looking fellow. His dark eyes, thick eyebrows and black beard give him a very Russian outlook. He and his men wear quite informal uniforms - some have Russian cavalry boots, some wear the German ones, in all lengths, colours and shapes, some wear helmets, some wear standard field caps (of all types), while the majority still keep their traditional bearskin Cossack hats. Melehov personally preferrs the light SS cap, as it is a rather warm summer, short boots, Russian cavalry trousers and SS-Panzergrenadier's camouflage jacket. His main weapons is the Russian PPSh41-submachinegun, but he has a Walther 38 in a holster too. He carries his grandfathers sabre when mounted, also. His men are mostly armed with submachineguns too, both German and captured ones. Some have rifles, and there are couple of MG42's also present. There are 24 men in his platoon, alltogether (OOC: Though I will not propably play with all of them in this RP).
These cossacks are seasoned veterans, not easily frigthened, but their motivation to fight till death against the Western allies is somewhat questionable. They don't feel like they'd be fighting for the liberation of their people when theyre stationed in Netherlands. Besides, when compared to the East, fighting these "partisans" of Holland can be considered more like a vacation than anything else, and neither the men or their leader(s) are expecting to witness any major fighting during the months they are to spend in here.



OOC: It would be great to have someone playing as the resistance fellows. They could start an actual battle, by attacking some cossacks or other german soldiers somewhere in the city, causing disorder and draving troops towards them, at which moment the commandos could attack. It would make some entertaining running battles around the town.

Maybe to ask questions about the men at the intersection. Joel is an old friend with Lin (the leader of Kengii's clan) so a meeting between them could be arranged, to discuss the matter?

I think it would be better if this RP was a "Squad Based" too, for as it stands now, no one can really get killed or seriously wounded as they play only one person, and getting him out of the action means pretty much getting the player out of the RP. If each player had a couple of characters, they wouldn't be so (understandably) unwilling to take any losses.

History: Dr.Falherst is an accomplished scientist in the field of electro magnetics. He was working on a project before the war began. When it broke out he ceaseed his work, seeing what his work could do for the Nazis. However, Nazi authorities got hold of him and sent him to a secret facility in Emden to continue the project.

History: Johan Baur was born in Emden in 1926 to Grafer and Jill Baur. His father, Grafer, was one of Germany's greatest troops during the Great War and had earned the Iron Cross. His whole family had been in the German military and he has high expectations. We was sent to a military school when he was 14 and immediatly enlisted on his birthday. After being the best marksman, leader, and physical superior he was promoted to Platoon Sergeant in his Fallschirmjager contigent. He has never seen combat but is willing to do anything to impress his father, family, and his nation. He isn't fighting for the Nazis, hell, like most of his family they secretly hate them, but he fights for his nation.

History: Before Mills joined the military, he was a poor boy growing up in a small village outside of Manchester. His father was a WWI hero, and Mills always wanted to continue in his father's footsteps, and become a hero himself. Before he was 19, however, his father died and left him alone in the world, for his mother had died when he was young. He signed up into the military the day after his dad's funeral, and he joined the battle for North Africa, and was soon recognized for having special combat abilities. He worked his way up through various special forces schools, until he was finaly declared "graduated" by superiors and assigned to this mission. He is brave, resourceful, extremely loyal, and has nothing to live for, which is always a good feature to have on a practical suicide mission.

What exactly is this "secret weapon" that the Nazis have? A chemical warfare sort of thing or a alien laser beam sort of thing?

Undoubtly it will. And Brydog, I apologize if it seemed like I was making fun of you, for that was not my intention. The thought of the kid just made me laugh so I had to point it out.

But it's beditme now (2:00 AM in Finland).. I hope we get this rolling by tomorrow, can't wait to do some street fighting in the East while doing the same in the West at the same time, just in different RP's.. :p

History: O'Brian was a strapping young boy who grew up in a farming village in Scotland. All his life, he had never strayed too far from the small village in which he had grown up in. Since he was young, he had been wanting to leave and see the world. After the start of the war, he had applied for a job with a local highlander regiment, then drove on to become a Special Operations soldier. After a while, he was accepted into the SAS. Today, he is ready and willing for the dangers ahead...

Assuming I can still join, I wanna be an SS officer.
