Dear Minister Halversson,

As a result of our primary headquarters having gone into isolation, we have relocated our corporation's basing to that of the United Sovereign Nations of Southeast Asia. But nevertheless, onto business.

Our sales catalog (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=457777) has relatively remained intact and we probably have something to sell to you that your country may wish. Contact us and we shall evaluate your nation's background and then sell you the product you desire.

We most eagerly await your response.

Dear Head off Portland Iron Works,

We strongly looked through your sales catalouge. As a result we have founded a great interested in your Trimaran designs but for the case that our country is very small our navy cannot deal with such kinds of big purpose build ships. Therefore we ask youre company to develop 6 multi-purpose destroyer-seized trimarans equipped with weapons and sensors from Vjaenland Aerospace. Such as:

Vesta supersonic asm

Dear Mr. Jenkins,

The Vjaenish research group gave your propose the green light. We are buying from your company following airplanes:

6 Skyraider Awacs (need to get integration of our own datalink system ATDS (advanced tactical data-link and our own Electronic Airplane Protection system SPECTRA)

4 Skyraider MRTT's (can they be modified for use as Medevac airplanes?)

4 Skyraider EW-planes (they need integration of our ALARM anti-radiation missiles, ATDS, as well as BQX-300 jammers)

6 Skyraider MPA (need integration of VESTA supersonic asm and ATDS)

1 Skyraider modified for VIP dutys (just deliver as an airplane without interieur)

12 MATRIX high performance trainers.

As industrial cooperation we demand the exchange of technology for building fighter aircrafts(mainly in combination with the use of composites)

Hope your company will agree to our terms of condition but as you see those weapon systems are fully for conventional self defense.

Your sincerely,

Range: 3,200 miles (maximum with external fuel tanks)
Service Ceiling: 61,150 ft.
Deployment: Carrier deployable (cannot deploy from Hornet or similar class carriers)
The Ruddy hawk is the premier in air superiority. Utilizing a revolutionary tailless design that increases maneuverability considerably past that of any conventional fighter while cutting the radar signature by more than 60 percent The Ruddy Hawk is almost unbeatable in air to air combat, it combines first strike capabilities with unmatched dog fight potential. One of the innovations for dogfights in this plane is the addition of ‘rear firing weapons nacelles’ basically hard points that have been faired from the front specifically to launch rear firing missiles to deal with tailing enemy fighters that could otherwise be deadly opponents. The weapon we have had the most success with in this role is anti-acquisition radar missiles programmed to home in on the targeting radar of enemy fighters. Other effective weapons include conventional anti radar missiles and all aspect heat seeking missiles. The SF-41 also includes an advanced multi frequency spherically distributed MAESA radar, a virtually undetectable ladar system that can be used for target tracking and acquisition without alerting enemies to the Ruddy Hawks presence, a highly advanced hydro-dynamic pilot ‘couch’ that increases the amount of G’s the pilot can take using a revolutionary hydro-cushioning system, and SPX pilot avionics interface that allows unparalleled pilot reaction and control capabilities for an unbeatable aerial combat edge.

Total Cost for Sixty-Four units (with bulk discounts): $2,400,000,000

VF-12 (Gull)
Span: 25 ft. 9 in.
Length: 46 ft. 10 in.
Height: 13 ft. 4 in.

loads can include six air-to-air missiles, four anti ship/anti sub torpedoes, and/or external fuel tanks.
Engines: Two Shrak J88s with 25,500 lbs. thrust each with out afterburner, 4 multi directional thrust vectoring nozzles
Cost: $34,000,000
Maximum speed: 1.7 mach at 33,600 ft.
Cruising Speed: 610 mph.
Range: 2,100 miles (maximum with external fuel tanks)
Service Ceiling: 50,150 ft.
Deployment: Vertical take-off and landing/short take-off and landing
Notes: The Gull is primarily a naval support fighter; it has limited air-to-air capability in exchange for a superb air to sea ability. It can take off or land any where a helicopter can and can carry more ordnance and reach higher speeds while being more maneuverable. It's high ordnance load compared to other VTOL aircraft make it an excellent strike aircraft, and combined with its maritime attributes, the VF-12 is an almost unbeatable maritime patrol/strike craft with superb anti-shipping qualities.

Total Cost for Thirty-Six units (with bulk discounts): $1,080,000,000

F/E-37 (Osprey)
Span: 42 ft. 9 in.

OOC: to answer your questions:
The MK20D warsphere system is designed to be a multi standard compatable, open architecture system and so can be easily modified to include compatability with msot coms and data networks.
The MRTTs can in deed be configured for Med Evac using the reconfigurable interior, it might requrie specialist modules but you can assume they are supplied as part of the deal.
On the Ew version i had envisioned it as being more a combiantion between RVIT JOINT, various EC-130 models and the B-52 stand off jammer modification as opposed to a EA-6 style SEAD/DEAD platform but if you feel such a large aircraft will do the job, fitting missile hard points/internal weapons bay isn't a huge issue.

OOC: the choice of airports is due to the fact that Kirkhill International while a full functional airport and situated very clsoe to the heart of the capitol (Kirkhill) does have a rather difficult approach, is situated at quite a high altitude and isn't the biggest airport in the world. De Payne on the other hand is a massive fully modern airport with its own diplomatic terminal with both direct motor way and high speed train access to Kirkhill.

Subject: Development of new fighter aircraft

Dear Mrs Jenkins,

We are pleased to hear that. We envisaged a fighter in the weight class of Rafale. As our Air Corps spends much on the word of our pilots we think it schould be a forward swept wing fighter wit h canard foreplanes, a 360 degree canopy and thrust vectoring nozzles. As for avionics we can provide the RBE-17 "Windwaker" aesa radar.

We should form a evaluation group. As soon as its possible we could send a group of our front-line fighter pilots and engineers for working and supporting in crookfur. Due to our non existant expirience in carrier operations Crookfur Arms should take the lead of the project while Vjaenland Aerospace should be the Vjaenish part of this program.

Please contact Sven Bjoernison, Head of fighter workjob at Vjaenland Aerospace.

With the best wishes yours sincerely,

Dear Mrs Alexander,

I may informe you that we take up your offer as granted with the greatest pleasure. As symbol of our trust in your trust in us we will men the embassy with ZERO security personnel and won't take armored cars for the embassy. As airport we chose both as for Kirkhill Int. we would like to stationate a EC-725 VIP helo for close city commuting and the other one will see the arriving of a Global Express buisenness jet. We hope our both countreys will find a way into a great social and economical future.

As a beginning i am pleased to tell you that our Trade ministry has lowered import taxes for goods from Crookfur.
Your inhabitants are allowed to travell freely between our borders.
Naval units and Airplanes are allowed to cross freely our military airspace and civil if the traffic allows it.
We also invite your air force and navy for a joint maritime exercise next year.

Dear Shrak,

VAI heard of your propose of the "ruddy hawk" fighter for Vjaenlands ongoing tender for 64 air to air fighters. In our (the company's) opinion we think that this fighter has the potential to win the tender if we work together on this example to make it fit in Vjaenish needs. Such as:

Roadstrip usage:
Vjaenish weapon usage:
Vjaenish avionic usage:
Licence production of the aircraft:
Full transfer of source codes for the avionic system:
and structural and design changes in the aircraft itself....it would also be required to build up our company as part of your firm. If this will go through the government could give back quite many other orders.

Please contact me as soon as possible.

RE: Improving of "ruddy hawk"

It should be easy enough to fit Vjaenish standard hard points and whatever standard gun weapon you want, as well as add road strip capabilities (the Ruddy Hawk is already carrier capable, just switch the 'gear out for something hardier, ad some stiffer suspension)
It will be similarly easy to switch the avionics out for your stuff.
Production rights on the SF-41 cost $3,800,000,000 less any initial order from our factories you make and includes the source code for the avionics.
I'd like more information on the structural and design changes you want made before I'll say its possible, but I doubt it will be hard at all to accommodate your needs.

Re: Fighter Aircraft proposal

Dear sir,

We have heard of your request to purchase new fighter aircraft for the Vjaenland defense force, and we are pleased to offer the F-20/A Enforcer (http://z13.invisionfree.com/The_NS_Draftroom/index.php?showtopic=1757) advanced multi-role fighter aircraft and the F-25/A Typhoon (http://z13.invisionfree.com/The_NS_Draftroom/index.php?showtopic=2502) advanced air superiority fighter to your defense force.

Both aircraft are modern, state-of-the-art combat aircraft which are built around a modular system, where avionics, electronic systems and weapon systems can be modified and replaced relatively quickly, efficiently and cost-effective. The Realm is willing to offer these aircraft to you (minus of course the advanced and highly classified avionics and electronic systems that are incorporated into Cottish models - less advanced but still very much state-of-the-art avionics and systems will be installed in any aircraft you may purchase) for the going price, as listed in the two attachments.

We await your reply.

64 air-air fighters (already shortlisted are the Shrak "ruddy hawk", a unknown Crookfur design which is in development and possibly the F-25 Typhoon)

36 air-sea fighters( we request a real fighter not a maritime patrol aircraft)

12 piston or turboprop trainer aircraft

6 heavy strategic airlifters with an aption of two more

6 commuter aircraft

We recommend every factory to provide a version of the proposed aircraft to be able to be tested by our air corps evaluating group.

That will be most acceptable. We shall have two F-25/B Typhoon Navalized Advanced Air Superiority Fighter Aircraft flown to your nation within the next twenty-four hours.

They will have in them the ECEJ-1/A Electonic Countermeasure Suite and the ECAM-2/B Avionics Suite instead of the CEJ-4/A Electonic Countermeasure Suite and the CAM-3/B Avionics Suite. The ECEJ-1 and ECAM-2 are export versions of the CEJ-4 and CAM-3, only without the highly sensitive and classified systems employed in the Cottish aircraft. Their preformance is approximately 7.25 % less than the original ones. It should be noted that the cost for the export version of the F-25/B Typhoon is $215 million, but that in return for the higher cost, you get an aircraft with extended endurance and the capability of operating from aircraft carriers.

As stated, the aircraft will be flown to your nation shortly by Cottish pilots. A C-11/B Super Globemaster will accompany them to transport the ground technicians required to maintain the aircraft.

We thank you for considering the F-25 Typhoon, and hope that you will purchase it.

On behalf of Space Union Defence Industries (SUDI), we wish to submit the SuF-5 Lion Single-Engine Multi-Role Fighter (http://z3.invisionfree.com/SU_Defense_Industry/index.php?showtopic=4)for your contract of 64 air-to-air fighters. The SuF-5 Lion is comparable to the F-16 in that it is made for the export market but it is fully equipped with the most advanced avionics and features. It is a cheap fighter and very easy to maintain.

On the otherhand, if you wish for an extremely high performance fighters we can suggest you the SuF/A-6 Wraith Air Dominance Fighter (http://z3.invisionfree.com/SU_Defense_Industry/index.php?showtopic=3) and the SuF-8 Phoenix Naval Air Dominance/Interceptor Fighter (http://z3.invisionfree.com/SU_Defense_Industry/index.php?showtopic=1). Both of them are our most advanced fighter aircrafts with all the systems listed in the write-up being cleared for export. If you wish for a very high performance fighter aircraft but at a cheaper cost, we are willing to offer you the SuF-7 Nightmare Multi-Role Fighter (http://z3.invisionfree.com/SU_Defense_Industry/index.php?showtopic=2). The SuF-7 Nightmare is also very maintaince-friendly.

As for your cargo contract, we wish to show you both our SuC-1 Stormbringer (http://z3.invisionfree.com/SU_Defense_Industry/index.php?showtopic=13) and our SuC-2 Charriot (http://z3.invisionfree.com/SU_Defense_Industry/index.php?showtopic=29). The SuC-1 is a heavy strategic airlifter while the SuC-2 is a high-speed, medium transport. Both are very capable, though, somewhat expensive. They should meet your needs perfectly.

If you wish to make any modifications to any of our aircrafts or want a specialized variant to fit your specific needs, we are willing to work with you to meet your needs. Please contact us with any information if you have any questions. We are also sending two of each jets (SuF-5/6/7/8 and SuC-1/2) to your air corps to evaluate along with a team of pilots, technicians, and mechanics for instructions on the airplanes. We hope to conduct business with you in the near future and for this to be the beginning of a fruitful relationship.

IF/A-14 (Thunder Cat)
http://www.geocities.com/jamealbeluvien/ifa14.jpg
Span: 64 ft. (extended), 38 ft. (swept)
Length: 61 ft. 11 in.
Height: 15.8 ft
Armament: one 20-mm six barreled partially directable (20 degree cone) gattling cannon
10x external missile hard points (10x fuselage) 4x external Pylons (2x ea. Wing shoulder (may be used for external fuel tanks))
Avionics: LIDAR/LADAR for range detection and Identification w/out alerting the enemy, phased long range RADAR with low probability of intercept pulse modes , high target resolution and mass target tracking capacity, integrated full cockpit display(FCD) for unmatched combat awareness(Similar to a HUD but is displayed over the entire canopy), multi purpose LCD displays for instrument readouts and status displays (Glass cockpit)
Countermeasures: blue/green laser light system to disrupt and scramble LIDAR detection systems, Integrated radar scrambling with frequency agility, 100 flare capacity, 50 chaff ball capacity. Modified jet intakes and structural curves and canted tail fins to reduce RCS from original version, liquid cooled engine cowling to reduce IRS.
Engines: 2x Shrak J110s with 37,000 lbs. thrust each with afterburner and 3d thrust vectoring
Cost: $42,000,000
Maximum speed: 2.1 mach at 36,000 ft.
Range: 3,040 miles (maximum with external fuel tanks)
Service Ceiling: 55,150 ft.
The IF/A upgrade to the classic F-14 Tomcat makes this classic interceptor a force to be reckoned with in the modern skies. An engine upgrade has given this legendary fighter new and more powerful legs, full range thrust vectoring jet nozzles increase maneuverability to allow the IF/A-14 to keep up with lighter, more modern fighters. Conformal fuel tanks yield increased range and a fully upgraded avionics suite allows the F-14 to remain the most ‘aware’ aircraft out there as well as streamlining the systems that manage the variable geometry surfaces that increase the performance of the F-14 at different velocities. With a 3d radar array capable of tracking and prosecuting over 100 targets, An array of cosmetic changes such as trimming corners, canting the vertical stabilizers by 15 degrees and streamlining edges as well as refurbishing the jet intakes gives the ‘thunder cat’ variation a much lower RCS than the original.

Re: Advanced Light Weight Fighter.

Hey Sven, how's things? I just got a message forwarded to me by one of the sale team about your proposal. I have to say it looks good so far and seems to tie in pretty well with where the MoD bods want thier new light weight naval fighter to be heading, with one unfortunate glaring exception: the forward swept wings. Try as we might to get some funding to investigate them as part of the design process the MoD bods simply won't budge, not when any form of super sonic performance requirement is on the cards. As an alternative to this we have been looking heavily at advanced wing jet blowing systems which do seem to offer some fantastic performance all over the Super High Alfpha operating regions.

In terms of over all layout we are ideally looking at a canards, Clipped delta wing and ruddervators which we feel offer the best balance of manouverbaility in all flight regeimes and low observability.

While it is perhaps a bit premature to be thinking about about sensor fits I would have to say that any aircraft operated by the Crookfur Fleet Air Arm or the Airforce will have to use our own indiginous systems, although, of course, interchangability between our systems and yours might be a distinct possibility.

I look forward to hearing back from you.

Yours,
Jim MacLaren

Hey James,

Well for the prob of forward swept wings could be solved with supercritical laminar profiles on the wings therfore the plane could very easily go supersonic. If you first want to test this type of concept the Vjaenland Aerospace could provide you (or the Crookfur air force) with one or two examples of our JAS-10 "Ventus" ]http://pws.prserv.net/ImaginaryFighters/tenji/fern2/Fern201.jpg FSW-Fighter to test the concept on a proven design.
