Ji Mang vs. Stromboland (ALL WELCOME TO JOIN!)

The elected leader of Stromboland, Stront Lamson, sits at his desk, reviewing some assorted files. The large oak desk was passed on by generations of leaders from different republics across the world. Chancellor Lamson was the latest to recieve the large piece of history in the light of his election. He sat, calmly, in his large, also oak, chair and deliberated his next move.

The "Holy" Republic of Ji Mang was not a republic nor a holy one. Their leader, Kow Mae, was a vicious, cold hearted communist who beleived that peoples rights were pointless. He had voiced his opinion before the world not to long ago and Stront had vowed to take action on them during the election. The election had come and gone and it was now time for action.

Stront was so intent on his thoughts that he hadn't noticed the entrance of his military advisor, Rin Lumpft. The large man cleared his throat so that Stront would acknowledge him. The blue eyes darted up immediatly towards the uniform clad giant.

"Sir," a german accent was strong in the voice of the military advisor. "It seems, sir, that Ji Mang has caught wind of your wishes for an attack and will declare war very soon against our humble nation."

The words seemed to hit home for the leader of Stromboland, thier military was underdeveloped but it was lucky for them that a new law had been passed a few years back compelling all youth, from the age 19-21, to join the military. They did have, thankfully, a small military to defend against the Ji Mang attack and hopefully destroy the nation once and for all.

"Very well." responded the smaller, blue eyed, blonde Chancellor. "We will await thier word and, in the meanwhile, we will train our army more, compell the people to come to thier great nations aid."

"Sir, perhaps a draft would be advised."

These words seemed to anger the Chancellor. "The people of Stromboland elected me to run the country democratically. We will have no draft, they must wish to join our army. Now, leave me please."

The advisor left the room as the chancellor thought.

A shadowly figure then spoke out from behind the newly elected leader. His voice changed syntheticly to help hide who he was. He wore his armor which was jet black with little shine. His eys suddenly turn red and he talked.

" Your seemto be a right man , good and honest... I hate that! Your nation is going to be over ran, and your people will blame you! How about you get some back bone and defend you nation!"

He waited for his reply.

When the man spoke it frightened the newly elected chancellor so much that he jumped out of his seat. Who was this? What did he want? Would he hurt Stront? The chancellor stood quietly waiting the end of the little speech.

"How did you get in here? Who are you? What do you want?"

Ji Mang

The wind blew hard here in Ji Mang on this night, the dark sky was alive as the trees blew in the hard gusts created by mother nature. The communist leader, Kow Mae, sat out on his deck, mostly to keep the chairs from blowing off but also to watch the pink flowers blow off the trees in his giant gardens. He looked on as he sensed that his Military Advisor, Joe Mang Chui, was standing beside him. "What?" asked the curt leader.

"Sir, the foundation has been set, our soldiers are positioned in the neighbooring states of Stromboland and we will move in on your word." the high pitched voice was not what you would expect for one of such stature. The six foot tall man was built like an ox but sounded like a chiwawa.

"Excellent. We will wait for word from thier head office and then attack."

"Very well sir." The advisor walked back into the palace slowly and the leader was left alone again to ponder his greatness and splendor. All was quiet now but the wind and the trees.

" Your naion will fall to them, Understand!" screamed the agent his eyes glowing more red then before. His frstration noiceable...

" You say you will uphold democracy, yet you can stop a simple invasion. Your couldn't uphold your own ego if it wasn't for your title.... Your nation will fall, unless you do something about it. they may hate you now but history will show that you picked the best choice.."

"Sir, it is against my countries laws to have a draft! I will call on my people as best I can but I will not force them. I will ask them but not tell them. My country can not fall as long as people love her! They will fight for her, I will fight for her." The chancellor was emotional on this topic. "We will win this battle, we will not lose, they are weak in love and love and love conquers all. Now please, who are you?"

Cameron ruler of the nation Camgo grabbed the phone and dialed Stront Lamson and waited for him to answer.

The phone on the havy wooden desk was ringing now but Stront ignored it, he had more important issues to attend to. This man in his room was starting to bug him, who was he to tell Stront how to run the country he had been elected to? He turned and began to stare into the red eyes of the man in his room. "I am going to turn around and answer my phone, if you are not our of the room before I am done my entire army will burst in here and have you killed!" The chancellor turned again, on his heels, and answered the phone quickly. "Stront Lamson." He answered curtly.

Ji Mang

With Stromboland surrounded by troops Kow Mae knew he could move in when he wanted but part of his ruling was by fear and fear he would set in the heart of the Strombolandese. They would know of his power when this was over, the world would not sneer when Kow Mae spoke any more. He stood now, a bluster of wind almost knocking him over, his long robe flying angrily in the wind over Ji Mang. He quickly turned and entered the tall building.

A long corridor was now set before him, pictures of past leaders hung up on the red walls that were adorned with gold leaf finishings. It was a truly beautiful sight to be perfectly honest. Kow marched the halls quickly, his traditional robe was billowing with every step he took, his black hair was standing on end from the wind outside. He entered his office and thought of his next move.

The elected leader of OcceanDrive, ODIII, sits at his desk, reviewing some book "...he discovered that in bed he had been changed into a monstrous verminous bug. He lay on his armour-hard back and saw, as he lifted his head up a little, his brown, arched abdomen divided up into rigid bow-like sections. From this height the blanket, just about ready to slide off completely, could hardly stay in place. His numerous legs, pitifully thin in comparison to the rest of his circumference, flickered helplessly before his eyes.

"What's happened to me," he thought. It was no dream. His room, a proper room for a human being, only somewhat too small, lay quietly between the four well-known walls. Above the table, on which an unpacked collection of sample cloth goods was spread out—Samsa was a travelling salesman—hung the picture which he had cut out of an illustrated magazine a little while ago and set in a pretty gilt frame. It was a picture of a woman with a fur hat and a fur boa. She sat erect there, lifting up in the direction of the viewer a solid fur muff into which her entire forearm had disappeared.

Gregor's glance then turned to the window. The dreary weather—the rain drops were falling audibly down on the metal window ledge—made him quite melancholy. "Why don't I keep sleeping for a little while longer and forget all this foolishness," he thought. But this was entirely impractical, for he was used to sleeping on his right side, and in his present state he couldn't get himself into this position. No matter how hard he threw himself onto his right side, he always rolled again onto his back. He must have tried it a hundred times, closing his eyes so that he would not have to see the wriggling legs, and gave up only when he began to feel a light, dull pain in his side which he had never felt before.

"O God," he thought, "what a demanding job I've chosen! Day in, day out, on the road. The stresses of selling are much greater than the work going on at head office, and, in addition to that, I have to cope with the problems of travelling, the worries about train connections, irregular bad food, temporary and constantly changing human relationships, which never come from the heart. To hell with it all!" He felt a slight itching on the top of his abdomen. He slowly pushed himself on his back closer to the bed post so that he could lift his head more easily, found the itchy part, which was entirely covered with small white spots—he did not know what to make of them and wanted to feel the place with a leg. But he retracted it immediately, for the contact felt like a cold shower all over him."

OOC:
Camgo, your army is not half of your population, or even 40% of it.

OceanDrive, what does that have to do with the topic of the thread?

OCC Thanks for tellen me that.I changed it

OOC: That's still kind of big. Usually people use a maximum of 5%, which would give you 12 million. I suppose you can get away with that much if you're willing to put enough effort into it, though. Pretty much your entire country would be devoted purely to supporting the military, and most of your soldiers probably wouldn't have very good equipment.

The important thing is that you write up what you're doing well, though. It's nice to see you're willing to take advice.

OOC: So many unwilling to take advice. IT is refreshing to find someone who it.

IC: Stront Lamson's face grew a smile, even with the evil that surrounded him. A draft? No. A dire and sincere request yes. This phone call made it so much less of an importance to call upon those who wished not serve in the army.

"My good friend Cameron, I would be honored to use the assistance that you provide. Perhaps a meeting should be aranged. I will send a jet over immediatly." Stront hung the phone up and picked it back up off the reciever quickly. "Gereart, lunder laft, Camgo... Swint" The native language of Stromboland was one that few outside the country spoke. It sounded a german edit but it was not. What the chancellor said was "Gereart, 1 jet, Camgo... QUICK!"

The voice on the other end of the reciever answered quickly and easily. "Yah." It really meant yes. This would be great if the Camgo leader could bring help to the people of Stromboland it would be great. Stront suddenly remembered his companion in the room but when he turned around, the black agent was gone. Stront exited the room quickly, his robe billowing in the force of wind he created.

As he entered the lavish main hall he found himself in a large, gold and red, ornate room. The lavish abode was filled with golden desks, thier inhabitants chatting on phones, no doubt it would be busier later on tonight. The Chancellor was greated fondly by many people but he exited the room giving them but a nod. He needed to find Rin now. As he scurried down the hall he caught a glimpse of the bearish figure. "Rin, Inen buft 1 momer." Rin, I need 1 minute. The tall advisor turned suddenly to stand, at attention, for the chancellor. "Ease, we have found sufficient aid. The ruler is coming now by jet and I am meeting him at the launch pad, make sure no one comes near my room." The advisor gave a nod and was off. Stront was excited, perhaps more excited than the day he was elected.

TO: Ruler of Ji Ming
FROM: Centura Micheal I of Galation

We would be more than happy to help you crush this "Stromboland" like a bug, but we are caught up in our own war. Our government has wired 100,000,000 USD to your account, and has sent a naval fleet to protect Ji Ming.

ATNN (ATrizzle News Network) LIVE REPORT: "A press conference is taking place the President's Mansion, we go live now to the Water Gardens, where President A-Train is speaking"

A-Train: "After reviewing the conflict between Ji Mang and Stromboland, it is clear that in order to ensure the survival of a democracy, the Royal Crown Dominion of ATrizzle must act. We are a blessed nation, with a currency more valuable than the USD (OOC: check the calculator), and a military that is among the best in the world. A state of war now exists between ATrizzle and Ji Mang as well as Galation for that nation's open support of Ji Mang and anti-democratic dialogue. Our space weapons are now aimed at Ji Mang and we order that nation to stand down or else we will be forced to attack."

President A-Train walks back into the President's Mansion and proceeds to take the elevator to a room 250 ft. below ground, known as the war room. Mansion staffers had recently finished dusting it earlier, as it has never had to be used before.

We're not against democracy, we are looking into ways to become more democratic, and we're very anti-commie. We were just offering to defend Ji Ping, should it be invaded. We hope that you will rescend your declaration.

"Ji Ping"

WTF?

This is getting very, very boring. I should not have waged war against myself. Anyways... someone else has taken over Ji Mang and has decided to not post here anymore so... I guess this is a closed battle.
