For The Greater Good! (FT Intro)

From the far side of the Milky Way Galaxy, a new race had risen. Calling themselves "The Tau", they finally had risen above petty rivalries and interwarfare and united themselves under the rule of the mysterious "Ethereal Caste", giving each of the Castes, Fire, Earth, Air, and Water a common goal, "The Greater Good". Technologically advanced, the Tau seek to unify the universe under their benevolent rule.

Aun'O T'au Acaya'Va'Denta "Master of the Undying Spirit", or Aun'va, leader of the Tau, spoke before a gathering of Ethereals.

"Today, we begin the journey," He began others nodded respectfully. "Our fleets have begun to mobilize, and our Fire Warriors are ready to spread the Greater Good. We hope to seek out new allies, friends in this universe, and bring about glory to our nation."

Commander Shas'O Vior'la Kais spoke next, "Yes, we are quite ready, and honored to be in this noble undertaking. May we have the greatest success."

Smiling and nodding, Aun'va replied, "I am certain of it. For The Greater Good, go forth!"

The God-Machine sat, seemingly shut-down within its temple. About it, thousands of robed Tech-Priests tended to its every whim, following Maitenance Rites and chanting to the Deus Mechanicus.

Within the mind of the God-Machine, sensoria alerted it to movement within the great Galactic area. Circuitry sparked and came online. With a great sigh, centuries-old mechanisms ground into motion. Outside the armored box, Techpriests stood in awe, snapping in machine code. The Rites of Awareness were administered, and the Machine awoke. Turrets and cannon swivelled, and drive-trains revved. The Machine communicated with the Machine-Spirits around it, and the gates of the Temple opened. Out drove the thirty-six thousand ton God-Machine.

"Great Fleet. I am contacting you on behalf of the Vis Machinae, the Strength of the Machine. I am to protect these people, these Machine-Spirits, this planet. Who, pray tell, are you? Answer, or the Great Comprehender will not understand, and what it does not understand does not exist."

"We give you the Coordinates of our Forge-World, so you might come and feel safe under the guns of the Machine-God!"

The minor God-Machine transmitted, via Machine-Spirit rather than radio or laser or subspace, to the Tau mothership's Machine-Spirit the coordinates of the Forge-World of the Machine. While doing so, it realized that the Machine-Spirit appeared pained. It would do its best to cleanse them.

OOC A.) sorry about the crappy nature of the following post a better one will follow. Second this is all depending on the system being uninhabited. If it is inhabited the post will have to be removed, and a new one written. usually I keep Yvresse's location a secret but I found the oppertunity to play with keeping it that way a fun idea to pursue, this is the type of meeting they might hold a lot of lot really. Lastly Morag-Hai was the Eldar goddess of secret Knowledge and the consort of Asuryan. (Okay the consort bit I need to check but the other bit is true)

The Keeper of the Knowledge of Morag-Hai* To Craftworld Tor Yvresse

Farseers, while patrolling system 321.45 in preparation of the Craftworlds arrival, I have detected ships of construction similar to that of the child’s race. As you know this peoples are often expansionary and inquisitive and so the usual policy of simply eliminating the vessel is not one I would prefer to follow in this occasion. Should the others of this race decide to investigate the disappearance of their vessel it may reveal the location of Yvresse. As such I have decided to initiate contact in the hopes of misdirecting their curiosity.

‘Open a channel to the two vessels, and bring weapons online just in case, things could get messy here. Be advised through that I do not want a weapons lock unless we are fired upon.’ The bridge crew nodded as the order was relayed throughout the vessel.

To Unknown vessel’s

Greetings Young ones, at this moment it appears strange does it not for so many ships to so unexpectently meet like this, almost as through the universe wills this meeting. In light of the universes, and fates, hand in this matter, perhaps we should speak to one another face to face. I note the two of you are making grounds towards that, still I invite you all to join me on my vessel, where we can speak as adults.

OOC: If possible, I'd like to play Argentum Prime's 1st Regiment (Imperial Guard) on their first deployment.
They rely on Kasrkins, Basilisks and heavy tanks to do most of the combat and excel at holding positions, although at first, they are a very vulnerable target (when they've just landed) as they have little troops.

OOC: You do realize that this is an impossible weapon right? Unless you built it in the depths of the warp, such a ship is not possible. Not to mention, Planet Killer's are not allowed within most RPs. If I were United Tau, I would ignore that. And also, this ship moves slowly. It is a god mod to move it into the region and then open up a broadside against him as that implies you have pulled up along him, which you have not.

A simple scouting trip into the unknown regions outside of Confederacy space was deemed as the worst punishment in the Confederate military. They were boring, quiet, and seen as a sign of disfavor from their mighty god Telros. So, it was in Captain Gelish's eyes, that he had been wronged, very wronged. He was a Zealot, an Elite of high rank, able to command ships and troops. And he had slain plenty of enemies in combat throughout his loyal service.

So why was he stuck out her, with only six ships with him, conducting a simple probe into the unknown. Fuming under his breath, he turned a baleful eye on the Telrosian at the Sensor station.

<"Well? Have you found anything yet?"> The officer, nervous under his commanders gaze and fearful of his temper, reluctantly answered.

"N-no sir." Gelish grunted and turned to sit back in his chair. <"Communications."> The officer, a young Telrosian woman, turned and replied in a sultry voice.

"Yes sir?"

<"Contact the fleet and see if they have found anything."> She nodded.

"It will be done." Silence fell over the bridge and the tenseness in the air only thickened. The Captain fumed in his chair, furious thoughts and curses spinning through his mind at a rapid pace. He had been faithful to Telros, served in his name and had done the High Council's will whenever it asked for him, so why in the name of the great god was he stuck on this ridicu-

"SIR!" He snapped out of his mental rant and glanced at the Sensor officer.

<"What is it?"> The man looked excited.

"We have just finished the regular scan and have picked up something. We have picked up several ships in the area. Several of them seem to be part of some faction, and are very advanced, close to our technology by what I am reading here. The other ship....is far beyond our technology, I have never seen anything like it. And there is a third, with good technology but not as advanced as the others."

The Captain was stunned for a moment, before he leaned forward eyes gleaming. Finally, something interesting; Three new species to negotiate with, this would please the High Council greatly.

The woman from Communications called out. "Sir, the single advanced ship is sending out a message!" Gelish snorted.

<"Send it to my chair screen."> After a moment, it appeared and he carefully read it's contents. Another moment, and he glanced over at the woman.

"Send a message to the fleet, have us go to Yellow Alert. Have troops ready for battle and fighters prepped. Also, have an emergency beacon prepared, in case we need reinforcements. And have it's trigger preset. I want no slipups." She nodded and proceeded to send the message.

"It is done." Gelish smiled, his mandibles clicking in excitement.

<"Good, now open a channel to those vessels out there. I wish to make our presence known, if it isn't already."> The clicking of keys sounded.

"Ready, sir."

Straightening himself, Gelish started.

<"I am Captain Gelish Mul'amar, of the Carrier Light of the Faithful. I am here with a small scout force from the Confederacy of Telros. I seek to open peaceful negotiations in the name of Telros. However, if you seek battle, we will not hesitate to defend ourselves.">

Then he waited, to see their responses.

More vessel's... Just great well that makes things even more importent that they look the other way. For captain Nais, scion of one of the largest family's within the Craftworld of Yvresse, truely it could claim to have member's across all walks of life within Yvresse, was feeling depressed. At this rate he was about to have more Mon-Keigh aboard his vessel than Keigh, it was sickening. Still he had his role to play.
'We might as well make sure everyone knows it's an open invite, hmm do we have anything from system 346.21 aboard?' It was the start of his plan, throughout their wanderings Yvresse had came across many worlds, with many exotic plants and animal life. The tricknow was to present such things to his guests as part of the social enviroment, in the hopes that in their interest he might redirect them.

The Tau where a special concern, a highly expansionist peoples, a redirection towards some Garden world, briming with life would get them out this system fast. If it could be used on a few of the others so much the better. Besides him the young Kionash nodded, fresh to the Path of the Mariner it was his duty to see to the Captains wishes directly, and to pick up the basics of the path he had embarked on.

'Good, prepare the ship for Mon-keigh, ensure non of our vistors are... endangered by the spider's we'll need a Spiritseer on standby. who is on duty, actually nevermind I don't need to know, just make sure who ever it is is ready. And transmit approach vector's. I'll be in the officer's mess when they arrive show, them to me.'
