Demanding The Turnover of the King (Attn Little India)

Vietnamexico
04-11-2006, 20:39
In the days of the Scarlet Kingdom, your lands had mantained a tense stance with ours. The Eternal Kingdom then, in a time that they should have celebrated, taken in the despotic King Horus Hornando, and may other Hornando royals. They had lavished in the royal court for years, as the people of Vietnamexico suffered from invasion after invasion, war after war, in hopes of creating once again, a stable state of affairs. Now it is time that the royals pay for the injustices that they have done to the Grand Republic, it is time that they are recognized for the war criminals that they are. That is why, I, Eric Langford, the peoples prince, the President of Vietnamexico, asks that the Eternal Kingdom of Little India turns over these war criminals to the Vietnamexican army, so they may stand trial along with other war criminals, such as the evil communistic despot Troy Winfrey, who had held a dictiatorial grip upon the capital of Videte, and his minions. If the turnover is not completed, the Republic will take it as an act of war against her, and will act in kind.

Official Government Communication:
From: HE, Jean-Baptiste de Marie-Bourbon, High Imperial Chancellor of Little India
To: Eric Langford, President of Vietnamexico

To Mr. Langford

After the war with our country in 40,049, in which dozens of Little Indian soldiers and civilians lost their lives, HM the Scarlet King of Vietnamexico built a friendship with HMSSM the High King of Little India. This friendship was built on the need to secure peace with Vietnamexico; a peace that lasted until your "People's War" against the rightful King.

As your troops approached Videte, HM the King telegrammed my predecessor, Chancellor de Merteuil, requesting the support of my country's government. I intend to honour the late Chancellor's promise of support to the Royalist factions. As such, we will not be turning HM the Scarlet King over to you. As we in Little India see it, your Government has no legitimacy, having dethroned a Monarch annointed by God; we therefore do not see that any Courts now operating in Vietnamexico have any authority to try HM the Scarlet King for any crimes He may or may not have committed. It is also our belief that any trial that may take place would not be conducted fairly and would lead to the execution of HM the Scarlet King.

HM the Scarlet King will remain in the Little Indian capital city of Ihayel until such time as we are satisfied that his safety and liberty will be guaranteed upon his return to Vietnamexico. As long as your Government intends to try HM the Scarlet King for any misdemeanours during his reign, we will refuse to release him into your custody. We pray for the day when the Vietnamexican people will return Horus Hornando to his rightful Throne.

Sincerely,

Jean-Baptiste de Marie-Bourbon

HE the High Imperial Chancellor, Head of Government of Little India
