They Deserve To Die (ATTN: Kraven and allies)

Automagfreek

Violence is legitimate is cases such as this, cruel retribution is fitting. Vengeance will be dealt out with a ruthless iron fist, worthless filth receive no mercy.

They deserve to die!
They deserve to die!

Ages had passed since the first Kraven War came and went, and to most it was merely another date in the Freekish history books. However with the Corporation rearing its ugly head once more, the retribution unleashed against Kravonika and the fall of Capitol Police were remembered. The horrors of the Three Stage Bio-weapon and the eventual nuclear holocaust against the former Kraven mainland were not forgotten, nor was Damien's promise to forever stamp out Father and his ilk.

Word had reached Damien's ears of the Corporate aggression against Southeast Asia, a long time prodigy of the Excessively Armed Empire and a loyal member of Dreadfire's Empire of Eternity. Needless to say the Warlord was not happy, and he called his military council into an emergency meeting to discuss the matter at hand. Among those attending would be Warchief Vidimir Breathstealer, hero of the first Kraven War, along with Marv Bonesplitter and Samuel Jackson of the AMF Defense Department.

The meeting was to take place in Damien's favorite den, which was extremely rustic and decorated with animal heads and old hunting equipment. Here he would often sit and sip the fine whiskeys of his land and that of Pantera, while taking a break from the daily burden of maintaining and defending his Empire. As his council arrived and joined him, they immediately began discussing the matters at hand. Bonesplitter was the first to brief Dreadfire on the situation.

M'Lord, it appears that the Corporation is back once more. This time they have declared themselves at war with Southeast Asia, as well as Kahanistan. We have estimated their military capabilities to be at least that of their pre-AMF/Kraven war status, and indeed they should be considered a credible threat to our interests.

Dreadfire scoffed at the notion, rolling his eyes and taking a long pull off the fiery golden liquid inside his glass.

The Corporation has always been and will always be weak. Who cares if their numbers are greater or technology improved? They are still controlled and plagued by the same idiocy, and as a result they will never be able to stand even in our shadow. But this I do understand; belligerence and aggressive actions towards a protectorate of the Empire will not go unpunished.

However, should SEA wish to handle this themselves, then I will not force us upon them and deprive them of their honor and the chance to destroy the Kraven scum. I suggest we ready our forces for engagement, but refrain from striking at this time. I will order some of our finest officers from the Kraven Wars to share some of the knowledge we learned about their tactics and practices, as well as a covert "peacekeeping" force.

Southeast Asia's membership within the EoE is thusfar a secret to the rest of the world, so it will likely cause Kraven authority to collectively shit themselves once they see Freekish vessels entering SEA waters.....

Plans have been completed and the time is drawing near. Punishment will be relentless.

They deserve to die!
They deserve to die!

The sirens sounded across all Freekish military bases, a sign that the Empire was mobilizing for conflict once more. Vidimir Breathstealer was once more being charged with the task of overseeing Damien's orders concerning the defense of Southeast Asia. No orders were given concerning any possible assistance for Kahanistan, nor was it even discusssed....for it was common knowledge that relations between the two nations were sour following the end of the Kraven Wars.

Vidimir inspected his Sentinels as they stood in formation at the loading docks, their motionless bodies standing at attention with their rifles locked and loaded. Men...loyal defenders of the Freekish way of life. Many of you stood with me on the shores of Kravonika, just as you stand with me today. We are about to inflict punishment once more on the heathens of The Kraven Corporation, who are too stupid to know when to stay down. Prepare for a nasty fight, for it was to my very own men who suffered the effects of biological warfare at the hands of the Capitol Police. But this time we shall be ready for them, and we will be swift to respond should they resort to using the tools of cowards.

In large fists the ships of Vidimir's armada began to slip from port and rally far out to sea near the outer rim of the Freekish maritime border. The small band of escort ships carrying the peacekeeping force and troop of officers were already well on their way, and the course they plotted was one that would lead them past any potential danger and right into a waiting SEA harbor.

Vacuous faces hammered into mash. Beaten senseless, sense they never had. Merciless smashing shatters teeth and bone. Ignorance earned every crushing blow.

Killing has just started and my lust for blood will grow, justice will be found in murder. Stupid as they are they didn't know the seeds they'd sown grew into my savage hatred.

They deserve to die!
They deserve to die!

Elsewhere, Zander and Azrael began deploying their forces accordingly after being made aware of the situation. They were to leave the Automagfreek homeland and emark for two Freekish military outposts abroad. From there they would be able to launch an assault on both Kraven holdings as well as any invasion forces encroaching on SEA territory.

However, for now they would try to remain as discreet as possible, though the task was almost always in vain due to the high profile of any Freekish deployment. The two Warchiefs knew exactly what was happening as well as what was about to happen, and their forces were briefed extensively on what to expect. It was likely that their services would be needed, as Father would not soon have forgotten the unshakable resolve of Vidimir Breathstealer. And with the threat of Kraven's allies present, the possibility of a multiple front war was very real.

One thing would be made painfully clear this time around; that Dreadfire was done playing games, and to make damn sure that Father and The Kraven Corporation were exterminated once and for all. Rumor began to circulate among the ranking officers in each Warchief's armies that the Warlord may be partaking in the battles to come.

Skull is fractured by the pounding. Eyes dislodging from their sockets. Brains spill out, the skull is split through. Mind vacant, now cranium too.

Guilty thoughts will not infect me. Soulless scum receive no pity.

The ships bearing the Freekish flags had made their way closer to SEA ports, and were now only a day's sail away. If the weather was good perhaps they would be there shortly after midnight, and word was sent across open channels to Southeast Asian authority that they would be arriving. The armed escort ships continuously scanned the waves and skies in search of any possible threat, though the possibility of engagement was relatively low.....thus far.

The thousand Sentinel peacekeeping force was fully prepared for immediate combat against the Kraven menace, and they hoped that their foes would recognize them on the battlefield. Perhaps some of those who had escaped Kravonika would be here today, and perhaps the fear of the Destroyer would grip them once more.

One ranking officer on board switched to a secure channel and sent another transmission ahead to the SEA mainland. My men are fully ready for action, and there are millions more on standby. We will be teaching your soldiers how to properly defeat the Kraven abomination, as well as assisting with the killing. We have 3 Warchiefs on standby to help you defend yourselves and destroy the Corporation on their ground, but we would dare not deprive you of the pleasure of murdering the invading heathens yourself.

We will discuss this in detail once I land.

Deceptive tongues hewn by my blade. Forked like a snake now on the ground they lay. They had no conscience so there is no loss. For my redemption there must be a cost.

They deserve to die!
They deserve to die!

This had never happened before. Barbarosea had prided itself on internal strength. This was not needed at this point in time, when the space fleet had been lost in deep space, possibly never to return. When the Ja'Raith Star had collapsed, destroying the entire system. When Marcus Grunmann, the leader of the entire armed forces, hadn't been heard from in over a month, but had left a note saying he was ok. Nonetheless, life went on. Fredrick Barbarosea IV was in a state of complete exhaustion. He had not slept for over 50 hours, and he was numb. After dealing with other external affairs, he ran across the communication from AMF. They were going to war with Kraven. It was justified from what Fredrick had heard. In these times, what Fredrick heard, he believed.

Filling in for Marcus Grunmann was a man by the name of Hane. He had "recommended" that Fredrick let him take care of the plans. Fredrick allowed him to proceed; he had a blank stare on. Hane smirked as he left.

Idol Group, Jaggs

The air was cold. Damn cold. Of course, that’s what most people expect at the North Pole in winter. The tarmac was lit up well by the landing lights, but they were soon to be turned off. They had already been on for more then the allotted 3 minutes between any possible satellite sweeps. The jaggs had come from an undisclosed location via ground. They loaded up their gear onto the almost invisible Z-11. With the visibility at around 6 ft., most things were almost invisible. The group of 4 jaggs had been loaded, and the lights were turned off. The Z-11 was ready for take off. As the stealth plane started its takeoff, the jaggs were removing all Barbarosean patches and tags. They knew their jobs. It was different from what the normal mission like this was. Hane had "shaken things up a bit" so to speak. The low rumble was gone, and the Z-11 was airborne.

Drake Petron was sleeping. A deep sleep at that. As team leader, he had to be sharp. And he was tired. Traal Rittor was adjusting the sights on his JSR-19 rifle. As a sniper, he knew that if anyone was going to take a shot in Kraven, it was going to be him. Lance Contrill was playing a game of blackjack with a computer on his HUD. Blackjack calmed him down a lot. That and smoking cigars, which he was also doing. The final member of the team was not to be seen the crew hold of the Z-11. That was because he was up in the armory putting together his gun. Brett Xholite was the spotter, but also the lead riflemen for the team. He was one of the few jaggs that were going to try out the new module rifles (XJR-9) that NWI had come up with. He had taken a basic 7.58mm caseless setup, plus an auto-correcting laser system and an integrated NTM scope. On his person he would carry a shorter, non laser front for any close combat, and a DATAStock, for spotting.

Not much after AMF's peacekeeping forces had arrived in SEA, the Z-11 was ready to drop the jaggs, almost 30 clicks off the coast of SEA. The jaggs would use personal drop aircraft to navigate to the target drop zone. As the Z-11 released the jaggs, they all activated the device still on-board the Z-11, known to them as the Inquisition.

[OOC: AMF, just for the record, the High Command's war with the Democratic Soviet Republic is supposed to take quite a bit some time from the Kraven invasion of my lands. And Barbarosea, the name of my country (Southeast Asia) should be a no brainer, no offense intended.]

His Right Honorable Prime-Executive Leadership sighed as he analyzed the situation at hand in his head, simultaneously reclining in his office's chair, his facial expression remaining neutral and indifferent. It was half a sigh of delight, and the other half of that sigh being one of personal questioning. What did it involve? That of the Excessively Armed Empire of Automagfreek and that of the Kraven Corporation. Thanks to Southeast Asia's well received name throughout the global community, the Union had gained a whole flotilla of friendships and positive impressions. A relatively short, but superb example of this, would be the Grand Archduchy of the United Realms of the Hamptonian Empire. Also known as the Grand Archduchy of Hamptonshire.

Hamptonshire and Southeast Asia had quickly become friends indeed, and that was why the HNS Dominion was deployed to Singapore quickly. However, the HNS Dominion wasn't quite what Prime Minister Neo Yao Yang (to use his Mandarin pinyin) had in mind. It was that of the New Alliance Treaty Organization and the United Kingdom of Oceania, besides Hamptonshire and that of the Excessively Armed Empire.

The United Kingdom of Oceania, at one point known as Azazia (derived from a series of indigenous peoples named after a Spaniard trade ship officer whose ship had crashed onto what was now known as the Oceanian Home Islands), had a long-time friendship with that of the Excessively Armed Empire. Way, way, back, before the Union of Southeast Asian Nations had finished forming. During the era when the United Kingdom of Oceania was then known as the Royal Commonwealth of Azazian Republics and when the Excessively Armed Empire was known as the Democratic States of Automagfreek. When Thomas Kaye was the President of the Democratic States of Automagfreek. The former President is still around to this day, but had a lower profile from what reports of the Southeast Asian Intelligence Directorate (SAID) indicated and served as a political adviser to the regime of Lord Damien Dreadfire himself, in spite of the fact that it was Dreadfire that overthrew him from the Presidency and disbanded the Freekish Senate.

But all that backstory didn't matter now, and Neo decided to forget about the ex-President and the former Democratic States of Automagfreek. He had made up his decision: send an encrypted communique to the Supreme Warlord himself. With that, and he got typing. He knew that the international community, especially that of the so-called "free world", and his people, would (metaphorically speaking) lynch him if they found out that the Union was secretly a member of the Empire of Eternity, and that the opposition parties would paint the Federal New Liberals as spineless, cowardly sycophantic worms to Lord Dreadfire. He only hoped that the Empire could remain subtle and that should it have to come to the surface, the world would see the Kraven Corporation as the greater evil. After he finished typing his message to Lord Dreadfire, he forwarded it to the SAID Communication Centers to encrypt the message via quantum computer and then with that, it would be sent off to the Office of the Supreme Warlord himself.

After that, Neo sighed again. Let's hope that my gamble shall pay off. He thought to himself.

TO: Lord Damien Dreadfire, Supreme Warlord, Excessively Armed Empire of Automagfreek
FROM: Yao Yang Nelson Neo, Prime Minister, Union of Southeast Asian Nations
SUBJECT: Freekish assistance

Dear Lord Damien Dreadfire,

It is most delightful an honor to be in contact with one of the most efficient and genius military commanders that the world has ever seen. The Excessively Armed Empire is indeed that one of the world's most formidable military powers in the world, and I admire your nation's military forces' amazing determination in executing tasks out (along with their professional skill), though I disagree with their methodology personally. Nevertheless, I thank you for providing (indirect) military assistance to the Southeast Asian Armed Forces. The commanders-in-chief of their respective military branches are eager for foreign assistance at the same time while wanting to prove our military forces to the world.

However, the Southeast Asian Federal-Parliamentarian Government, the voices and the representatives of the democratic majority of the people of Southeast Asia, only asks for two things in return: number one, please, unless absolutely, extremely neccessary, have the Freekish armed services keep a low-profile as a still white rabbit residing in snow plains. And second, Lord Dreadfire, let us found our own insurgency should the Southeast Asian Armed Forces be defeated and the government need be go into exile. However, by then, feel free to determine whether or not you need to invade the Kraven homeland, as we do not wish to invade whatever headquarters the High Command currently resides in, as we just wish to defend our own lands from foreign belligerence.

Thank you Lord Dreadfire, and I hope that our two lands can emerge greater friends as a result of as such.

Yours Sincerely,
His Right Honorable Prime-Executive Leadership
Yao Yang Nelson Neo
Prime Minister

Commodore Jakob Variand was a young man. His rank, just short of Admiralty, was the product of outstanding results on the few missions he'd been sent on, the connections of his uncle Admohar Quoreal, and his excellent performance in the Naval Academy, more than experience. He had not served in any of the Imperium's wars so far, and a sense of foreboding and curiosity swept over him as he read the report, phrases jumping out at him.

...fleet of unknown but significant size; commander unknown...positively identified as Freekish...

Commodore Variand was the commander of an intelligence-gathering task force sent just outside Southeast Asian waters to survey the nation. The order had come down from the Sacred Emperor himself by way of the High Command, and Variand had no idea what purpose the Divine One thought he was serving in this theater. However, he'd been sent here to monitor Southeast Asia, and that was exactly what he would do, until he was ordered otherwise.

"Forward this to the Intelligence Division immediately. The High Command will want to see this," he ordered the communications officer next to him. That was an understatement. AMF's involvement would have profound implications on the developing crisis, and thus on the Imperium's position in it.

***

"At the least, we must wonder why they came." Lucius Kressh, Head of the Intelligence Division, gazed around the conference table. "Southeast Asia is not known to have any association with AMF..." The other members of High Command pondered his question, but were distracted by their master, who spoke above their murmuring.

"A more important question, Lucius, is what the Imperium will do about it. Yes, wondering about motives is a fine mental exercise...but the effect of AMF's presence has completely reshaped this conflict. I no longer believe that Kraven and its allies have the military power to win this conflict. And so, the Freeks have forced our hand. We are not yet ready to take on the kind of power that Southeast Asia and its allies possess alone, and having never observed the Corporation's forces in battle, we cannot trust them to aid us enough.

"And so we face a choice. Stay out of this coming war...or fight alongside Southeast Asia and her allies. And since the former is unacceptable to me, we shall do the latter."

OFFICIAL DIPLOMATIC COMMUNIQUE

To Yao Yang Nelson Neo, Prime Minister, Union of Southeast Asian Nations,

The Imperium has observed the budding conflict between your Union and the Kraven Corporation for some time...we are aware that conventional wisdom dictates not to trust us. After all, we consider Xharn, an ally of Kraven, to be a friend of the Imperium, and our invasion of Czardas has alienated us from all democratic nations. However, the Imperium is a nation that thrives on conflict...and we have yet to test ourselves against Kraven. We are amused and perplexed by Kraven's reputation as a military power, and we would prefer it if that reputation were destroyed in this war. On the other hand, we have similarly heard of the power of Automagfreek, and what better way to evaluate such a legendary nation than fighting alongside it?

Therefore, the Sacred Emperor makes this declaration, backed up by his word as a man of honor. Barring extenuating circumstances, which the Imperium considers so unlikely as to be insignificant, he swears that should Kraven attack your nation, the Imperium will intervene to the full extent of its powers...and you should be aware that the Sacred Emperor does not break his word. Again, we are aware that there are reasons for enmity between us, but we ask that you ignore this and let us assist you. We await your response.

Darian Aurelius, Minister of Foreign Affairs

OOC: Further stuff about this, SEA, will be in the 'mobilization' thread for now, and the actual war thread, once that gets up. Unless this is supposed to be it.

Darian Aurelius, Minister of Foreign Affairs
The Southeast Asian Prime Minister sighed when he read that communique by the Kregaian Foreign Minister. Revealing themselves for what they essentially are now....oh poor fool. He privately thought. Revealing themselves for what they are.....hypocritical bullies and cowards. Neo would then hold a meeting after yet another meeting just after having one with his military commanders, this time with the cabinet on how to deal with this. Afterward, it was decided and the Executive Cabinet would be sending a response.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Encrypted Communiqué
To: Darian Aurelius, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Imperium of Kregaia
From: Executive Cabinet of the Southeast Asian Federal-Parliamentarian Government, United Sovereign Nations of Southeast Asia
Subject: Response

Greetings Mr. Aurelius,

The Executive Cabinet of the Southeast Asian Federal-Parliamentarian most certainly appreciates the offer of assistance and has taken it into account. However, we decline the offer as noted in the preceding message, the "enmity" between our people's image of your administration. It would be most unwise for us to accept your state's help.

The general feeling of the common Southeast Asian is indeed that of an arrogant, hypocritical, intolerant regime who cannot even set its own basic standards right never mind have the right to penalize a foreign state over a live condemnation over international television. Our advice, Mr. Aurelius, is for the sake of not sinking the Southeast Asian people's image of the Kregaian Imperium even lower, that you don't bother picking a side instead of siding with us.

If you want to maintain the status quo, and make sure that our homeland's people maintain this level of respect and have armed conflict, it would likely be siding against us. Many analysts tend to view this as the popular and democratic desire in Southeast Asia if that were to occur.

Pick wisely Mr. Aurelius. It seems that the only way to uphold your image (at least from your particular perspective) is to pick a side that is against us. If you wish to maintain the status quo of your country's level of respect in the eyes of the international community, especially that of the free world, you would stay neutral.

And we are just stating the facts. Pick wisely, Mr. Aurelius.

Yours Sincerely,
The Executive Cabinet
Southeast Asian Federal-Parliamentarian Government
United Sovereign Nations of Southeast Asia

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Let's hope that they get what our position is spoken in a diplomatic manner and that they react civilly. was the general thought of the Executive Cabinet once the message had been sent.

"Those fucking infidels."

So saying, Darian Aurelius tossed the entire Intelligence file on Southeast Asia onto the conference table and slammed his fist into his palm.

"For starters, I'm tired of their fucking "mister" bullshit! I am Minister of Foreign Affairs, not 'mister'! If I wanted to be addressed as a commoner, I would have fucking said so! On top of that-"

Sacred Emperor Lucifer's cold voice cut through his sentence like a guillotine; absolute interruption, with no room for argument. "Calm yourself, Minister Aurelius, and watch your language or you will find yourself absent a tongue. Your pride is not the issue at stake here. My first reaction, my servants, is to be amused. This pathetic democratic mudhole has insulted us, albeit privately, and patronized us. One way or another, this I will not accept, and yet...to hear such a rebuttal from those who should fear us...it is farcical, my servants. We will not bother to reply to them yet; how can we, when such an emotion as amusement greets us when reading this message?"

The god-king rose, leaning forward to emphasize his point. "And yet, upon further reflection, amusement is pure folly. Automagfreek, gentlemen; a nation we have taken at least a cursory interest in, and one legendary for the powers of its military. Not to mention the numerous other allies that support Southeast Asia. If the Generians were involved in this matter, I might be more sanguine about such a war, for I believe that together the Imperium and Generia can face anything.

"But they are not, and we must face facts. We are in a difficult situation, gentlemen. They have insulted us...and yet, we are not yet ready to fight Automagfreek and the Union's other allies, and at this point, fighting one means fighting the whole. I will not hear your suggestions on this, gentlemen...", and at this the High Command grumbled, though few dared to meet Lucifer's gaze while expressing such discontent. "...And this is because I have already decided. Listen, my servants, for in this will the Imperium's honor be restored and our power be increased..."

A bunker somewhere

"Ay-em-eff has pledged their support towards Southeast Asia in the Kraven conflict... could get interesting." the Head of Intelligence handed the Paternal Autocrat, Henry Fieldingham, the neccessary documents, reams of strategic information, lists of diplomatic responses and retorts, satellite imagery and reports from spies in Southeast Asia.

"I see... why is it we only realised the movement of Freek fleets at this moment?" Fieldingham looked through some of the documents while sipping his tea and talking to the Intelligence minister.

"Sir, with all due respects, our RORSATS cannot see everywhere. There are hundreds of thousands of ships moving through the world at any one moment, large numbers of them parts of flee-" the Intelligence head patiently explained.

"I know that. But our Intelligence services and their Orbital assets must work harder in the future, Tenzo." The Autocrat reffered to the Intelligence head by his first name.

"Yes, sir. As I was saying, with all due respect, the Freek fleets have not been active for some time and at any rate are not on our priority monitoring list, so our espionage agents in S.E.A only reported it when the rumours of Freek fleets held enough ground ot be considered actual information; and then the materialisation of such fleets prompted the report."

Fieldingham sighed. "In future, information must be processed and reported faster and more frequently. The success of our Intelligence services are very important, I am sure you understand that."

"Sir, more funding will be required to-"

"You will have it. That is for another day, however. What can you tell me about the strengths of these fleets, and other Freek deployments?"

"The composition of this fleet is of no matter to us, or our assets, and we will have no need to plan to engage it. I am two hundred percent certain it does not plan to, nor will ever, engage Questarian assets."

"Even so, we must plan for it. Give the orders to the nearest naval unit and whatever there is in the region for them to plan for the eventually of destroying this fleet if neccessary. We were turned down from NATO, I am sure for a trivial reason, but whatever relations we had with Ay-em-eff have been soured considerably." Fieldingham sighed agian before continuing. "It is of no consequence to me. The people however, most certainly are angry at being turned down. Give those orders, but do not mobilise any forces. We aren't escalating anything, Tenzo. What about other deployments?"

Tenzo nodded, made some notes, and replied "None we know of. Our espionage in Ay-em-eff is loose at best and nowhere near enough to ascertain deployments. As I say, its not a priority, andits not a nation my boys and girls like to be based in, I must say."

"Of course. Thank you Tenzo. I assume you have people working on propaganda for the NATO situation?"

"Yes, sir." the Intelligence head nodded and grinned.

"Good. Produce some more for this, too." Fieldingham took another sip of his tea.

"Yes sir. Will that be all?"

"Yes, my friend." Fieldingham stood up and gave the roman salute and the cry of "For King and Empire", which Tenzo also did, before leaving the room without the documents he had entered with.

November 13, 20,36

+++Generál Ármii Lyuha Payurov blinked as the buzzer on her desk sounded, automatically reaching out to accept the intercom signal, placing the glass of Jamaican coffee that she'd been sipping at on an unoccupied section of her desk. An eyebrow cocked, she began to ask what it was that needed her attention, but her secretary beat her to it; most unusual, considering Alice's usual deferential behavior (she was, of course, a mouse).
+++<"It's Colonel Mechitov, Ma'am; he's got something extremely important for you to look at."> She sounded worried; this was not good.
+++<"Send him in,"> she replied, trying hard to keep the anxiousness out of her voice.
+++A fraction of a moment later, the door to the inner sanctum was swung open; the threshold was soon thereafter filled with a very serious-looking middle-aged otter, who strode to the woman's desk and braced to attention, the emotions that his eyes held carefully guarded.
+++Lyuha had risen as he'd approached, and delivered a perfunctory salute to her subordinate. The polkóvnik relaxed only slightly, keeping a certain amount of nervous energy in check as he unceremoniously dropped the manila folder he'd been holding onto the generál's desk.
+++<"What's this?"> the wolf inquired, even as she picked the folio up to thumb through it.
+++<"AMF's on the warpath. Kraven's on its own little aggressive streak, too; Southeast Asia's on the menu."> He inclined his head in the direction of the folder. <"That's what we've gotten so far about AMF troop movements, along with their naval repositioning.">
+++<"And Southeast Asia?">
+++<"It's on its way. Should have it within the day.">
+++<"Good. I'll pass this along to the Prime Minister right away. Thank you, Colonel.">
+++<"Ma'am."> The otter braced for attention once more, and the she-wolf returned it with a little more snap this time; the colonel turned and strode out thereafter, shutting the door behind him.

+++<"With all due respect, Sasha,"> began Minister of Communications and Transportation Katryna Vezirov. <"But if Kraven wins this war, everyone's screwed up the arse."> She grimaced in distaste. <"Whether we're a superpower or not, we still have a duty to fulfill, and we need to accept that; our people will surely go along with the right decision.">
+++<"And what is this right decision?"> asked Sasha, leaning forward to place his interlaced hands upon the conference table's glossy surface. <"Sending our troops onto foreign soil to fight a war where we don't know anyone? We'd be interlopers, and worse, we'd be sending our men and women to die for no clear reason.">
+++<"We can't just abandon them,"> Katryna intoned almost plaintively in reply. <"And what if Kraven does win? They won't stop at just one nation; they'll just keep going. And then what happens if they're suddenly knocking at our door?">
+++<"I have faith in AMF,"> replied Dmitri, rolling his tremendous shoulders in an indifferent expression. <"If they don't win, they'll at least turn Kraven back to lick their wounds; they don't need us to help them along."> He sighed, rubbing his temples with his thumb and forefinger, leaning back as he did so. <"There's no honour in war, Katryna. Don't ever think there is. Why do you think all these warmongering nations have so much trouble back home?"> he asked of her, almost gently.
+++Katryna's mouth opened to reply, but no words came forth; she shut it with a soft click while her ears fell to the sides and her head lowered, nodding in deflated assent.
+++<"We're in agreement then?"> inquired Sasha, after the silence had been left to seep into the corners of the room. A murmur of varied replies in the affirmative came back, and the Prime Minister nodded. <"Good. In that case, I declare this meeting closed.">
+++After Sasha had risen, he and the rest of the members of the Cabinet filed out, while Dmitri sought out Katryna for a quick talk, away from the rest of the ministers.

[OOC: Push, I have no idea what is your definition of NSEarth, but in mine, it's a giant Earth that dwarfs our own real world Earth and has a multitude of timelines. Hence why there are different landmasses on NSEarth like Terra Recedentia to the continents of region of Haven in the North Pacific. It's so damned large, I seriously doubt that satellites could keep track of everything. Oh, and AMF, I await your response....]

[ Sorry about the delayed reply, but I imagine that if we were really dead-set on monitoring Jupiter with satellites, we could do it.

Still, that's kind of irrelevant in my understanding of the NSEarth, because mine's essentially the same Earth, with a few more landmasses thrown in, but none too large ; a planet the size of Jupiter would require a whole new set of conventions about what life could live on it, and sorry, but I rather have a fetish for details and precision.

It's not practised by anyone but me, but hey. No one ever said I had to conform to conventional thought. ]

Encrypted message to Southeast Asian authority:

The Excessively Armed Empire would not dare deprive you the right to defend your homeland, nor would we put you into any kind of undesirable position. Our forces will not directly come to your aid in this conflict unless you wish them to, and our deployed assets are merely in place to launch their assault on Kraven proper.

The Corporation is too stupid to know when to simply lay down and die, and soon they will be put in their place once more. We have more than enough Sentinels to adequately crush them yet again, so rest assured that your plight will be over shortly. The moment we feel the time to kill is right, we will decend upon them like a pack of wolves and tear the Kraven heathens to shreds.

We will remain in contact.

[OOC: Push, I didn't say that it was the norm that people role-play NSEarth as a Jovian sized planet. I said that it was simply my definition. You're free to interpret NSEarth as you wish. Sorry for coming off the wrong way if I did, I didn't mean to offend you.

Oh, and Automagfreek, don't worry, I find that perfectly understandable as well......I just came back from a long day of a two day field trip from Geography class. I'm tired as well. IC post to come later.]

OOC: Following a discussion with Kraven, this post utilizes fluid time and takes place just after the incursion into SEA

*********************

The time is right...the time to kill is now.

As midnight struck, Freekish fleets under the command of Warchief Vidimir Breathstealer and Azrael the Advocate began heading towards Kraven territory within Arterus. Vidimir's fleets would make their way as quickly as possible towards Samtonian territory in the north, then strike southward as Azrael swung in from the east. It would be an assault that the Corporation would not be able to recover from.

Hundreds of thousands of Sentinels and Fallen prepared to take the fight to the Kraven menace once more, while Dreadfire and the other Freekish leaders began conjuring additional plans. M'Lord, our forces will be entering Arterus shortly, with Vidimir heading directly for Samtonian port in the north as ordered.

Dreadfire turned away from the window in his throne room and walked towards the table, taking up a seat near a large map that had been laid out. Excellent. Our initial drive will likely catch the Kraven scum unprepared, but resistance should stiffen the further south we travel. By then they would have had adequate time to dig in and prepare defenses, but before then I will send in Zander towards the south of Arterus and begin raising Hell. Our defenses at home should be put on the highest of alert, and regional patrols should be tripled.

Lord Damien, what about our plans to eradicate Father? Chirped one of Dreadfire's military advisors.

The orders haven't changed one bit. These attacks will be a large scale diversion, and if Father is in the area he will likely be moved to a more secure location then re-linked into whatever systems they have. If he's not in Arterus, then we simply have one less place to check once we eject the Corporation.

In he meantime, I want our fleets abroad to take their usual defensive measures and prepare for battle within the next day or two, weather pending. Perhaps if this invasion worries Kraven enough, they'll pull assets out of Southeast Asia and send them back here for us to slaughter. I guess we'll just have to remain vigilant and see what their response is.

A highly encrypted transmission had been sent to Samtonian authority as elements of Vidimir's armada entered regional territory. The Freekish Warchief informed the Samtonians that they would be arriving shortly to springboard off of their land, and that the invasion would be so swift and we coordinated that the threat of counter attacks on their holdings would be minimal. But regardless of any threat level, the Sentinels prepared themselves the same way they always did before being plunged into battle.

Azrael's fleet was about a day away from Vidimir to the south east, and the son the Warlord began plotting his landings and working on coordinating supplies and reinforcements between fleets. Elements of both Warchief's forces were scattered loosely should either one need assistance, though with the eyes of the Corporation looking elsewhere, it was unlikely.

[OOC: Ok. Does this post indicate they're just moving to Arterus or they're attacking? Oh, and I plan on using this thread as one for character development.....]
