OOC: This is just a little topic about the goings on and what it is like under the brutal government of Clandonia Prime. It contains lots of the current goings on and situtions around the world.



As winter had now set in, Clandonia had gone colder again after the bad summer and autumn of rain the place was a muddy mess, now the first snow had fallen and the artic wastelands of the North were now in darkness for most of the day in subzero temperatures.

In the uranium mines at Danskeran the workers had revolted over plans to increase working hours while reducing pay to stay in line with free market principles of the government. Workers had taken control of the mine and the interior forces were called in, mostly slave workers captured from Africa and taken back for hard labour. As the black uniformed Interior Police stood around, they started up their L-118 105 mm canons and proceeded to lob burts of VX rounds onto the miners, the Clandonian Corporation thanked the interior forces for their involvement and the order was given to bring in another 120 new slaves from the colonys.

Just another day in Clandonia....

Silence foolish nation, your actions are not warranted for an internal matter of the Clandonian Government and the Corporation.

It was nearing November 5th, the day of the Clandonian revolution and people were planning for the great celebration and the 2 minutes of hate towards the anarcho communist forces that they had fought on a daily bases all those years ago. On the large plasma screen at a weapons factory manufactoring missiles for the airforce a woman was leaving, stopped at the gate by the interior forces guard.

'Whats wrong with your face?' The guard questioned.

'Oh nothing, I've just been working hard' the woman dipped her head to try to hide her face. The guardmans grabbed it seeing the signs of the eye disease.

'Worker 4577 you are no longer fit to work, under section 24 of the Prevention of Infectious Disease Act of 2004 I give the order for your destruction.'

Two other guards dragged her away, taken into the back room the sound of muffleded G36C fire and the slump of a dead body on the floor. The next workers were pushed through the checkpoint carrying on to their slave hovels. The sound of artilery overhead and the Apaches flying over, using their night and thermal sites to monitor the crowds of slaves for any movement indicating rebelion. Often the Apaches came back to base with the missile racks empty and the gun barrels hot.....

"The situation up north is pretty bad, Matt."

The Emperor slouched in his chair, stroking his beard and looking up at his Head Director.

"I know... But we can't really do anything until the Count drops Clandonia... We can only sit on our asses down here and wait for them to commit political suicide, then we can finally move in and help these people out."
"Patrols in the channel have been stepped up around the area. We've been making attempts to contact any rebel cells that might exist, but so far nothing."
"Well we might as well keep trying. Sooner or later something will come up."

Snow fell gently on the Imperial City of Cravna, the lights of the city twinkling as her millions of residents made their way to their homes on that cold November evening. Snow plows were out in full force to keep the crowded streets clear.

The Emperor shifted in his chair, sighing heavily. He fixed his tie, and ran his hands down his suit in an attempt to straighten it.

"Go home, Vince. It's almost seven, and you've got a family to see."
"Yeah... I'll see you tomorrow, sir."

Director Gallens turned and walked from the office, donning his trench coat in response to the frigid temperatures outside. Within an hour he would be home on this early winter evening.

The Emperor stood up, and switched the light off in his office. He entered the side door, taking the staircase down to the ground floor. Walking through the corridors, he finally made it to the massive double doors of the Imperial Family's private residence. He nodded to the Imperial Guardsmen on post outside, and entered his home. He had some thinking to do on this cold winter night, knowing full well that something had to be done in Clandonia. And soon.

The two cryptanalysts sat at their computer, using encrypted frequencies to try and make contact with any Clandonian resistance groups through the use of basic morse code in confusing and completely unintelligent phrases. They hoped that the resistance groups, if there were any, would understand what this meant. Some references were made to areas in Cravan to hint at the source of the transmissions, but nothing to give away the identity of the nation sending it. The signal was also being broadcast off of random satellites, making tracking the signal itself fairly difficult.

Their work seemed never ending, with thousands upon thousands of frequencies to cover. Perhaps one of them would bear some results.

This was unlikely, though...

The government had invested a great deal of ammount on supressing communication with rebel groups and between other nations. Several groups were unknow, the interior force and state police delt severly with these uprisings and rebelions.

A quick burst of gun fire into the air was usually enough, it was rare when artilery and helicopters needed to be brought in but the use of such force was being used more and more.

As the blinking lights of the many servers and radio amplifiers hummend and blinked away, marked by the Clandonian Corporation logo silently blocking out all possible rebel communication traffic.

I'm guessing your nation doesn't get too many requests for tourist visas.

All the concern about Ackistan preparing to go to war with Clandonia had increased the threat level which ment the interior forces were out on patrol in force. Full armour and gunships patrolled the industrial hovels, the sound of gunfire as rebels exchanged gunfire with the police, the sound of .303 sniper rounds and then the roar as a Apache Longbow went over deploying its Hellfire air to ground missiles, several going in close firing volleys Hydra rockets. The sound of M230 30 mm chain guns were also noted.

These were the slums of Danskeran, the lines of security and checkpoints into the shanty down, regular bombings were done to stop rebels getting near the outposts in range of interior force positions. The buses that ferried people to and from the factorys were often shot at by rebel forces or caught up in the crossfire. Harrier GR7's often did fly pasts in support for kick down operations that went in and either arrested or shot dead suspected rebel sympathisers.

The homemade rebel rockets had killed a senior interior forces officer, in response an entire road was vapourised by thermobarical shells. Dartia, tourists are welcome as long as they behave themselves and arn't communists the rest of the country has a good standard of living, check out my GDP these are just the slaves.

It was friday, many hate partys were being held to celebrate the defeat of anarchist forces. People were using fireworks to remember the nuking of the anarchist forces as they fled across the border. This was also a time to remember the millions of Clandonian service personal around the world fighting for the empire in Africa and the thousands of naval personal on the fleets out in the North Sea patrolling the icy waters of the Artic from foreign threats.

The workers returned home to their hovels, in anticipation for the weekend the interior forces were holding the numerous public executions of enemys of the state lined up against the walls and shot to serve as a lesson to others who might rebel, it was a tactic that worked.

OOC: This thread was just like happenings, internally that I doubt would leak out to the outside world.

Another cold day in Clandonia had brought out the rock apes, clambering over the icey rocks as hunters took shots at them with their SL8's. The animals were a dangerous pest and needed to be hunted down.

Elsewhere in Clandonia soldiers of the Territorial Army were packing their desert gear and taking their G36K's ready for going off to the colonies in Africa as part of the deployment of the 10th Mountain Mechanised Brigade and the 3rd Reserve Forces Armoured Brigade to reinforce the 740,000 troops already there. With 780,000 troops there there was talk of sending the 5th Army group to bump up the figure to 980,000 nearly 10% of the entire offensive part of the Clandonian army.

Defence spending was its highest ever level, the news of possible conflict in Africa had worried some. In a ceremony awarding brave Clandonian servicemen who were back from the Empire a fly past of the newly formed 30th Bomber Wing with its 40 B-2 Stealth Bombers flew over the capital impressing civillians and servive personal alike.

Clandonia was now ahead of all its possible enemys including Ackistan, Trivalvia and Dartia. If there was a war the nation would be glorious.

The crisis was over! Clandonian naval fleets were on their way home welcomed into Danskeran and Clanon City with parades and celebrations. Elsewhere more money was being spent in the military, an increase and the passing of the bill to authorise Project XY to create the genetically modified soldiers, a super race of 2 metre tall men made from the finest gametes of the military.....

With a few tweaks the soldiers could be a real deterent. As Clandonians heard of the news from other parts of the world, the Corporate Alliance and the Kraven Corporation on the war path? The Clandonian Corporation looked on at its larger cousins in the world, itself spending a large proportion of its budget and net incomes on an increasing in size security force that some were now calling a private army.

The Corporation had developed plans to 'upgrade' the human. Young men and women with hormonal, neurological and genetic concoctions; implanting microchips and electrodes in their bodies to control their internal organs and brain functions; and plying them with drugs that deaden some of their normal human tendencies: the need for sleep, the fear of death, the reluctance to kill their fellow human beings....

The research now underway, involves actually altering the genetic code of soldiers, modifying bits of DNA to fashion a new type of human specimen, one that functions like a machine, killing tirelessly for days and nights on end. These mutations will revolutionize the contemporary order of battle and guarantee operational dominance across the whole range of potential Clandonian military deployments.

The programe was now born and the first units have been produced, and so the formation of these new units by the Clandonian Coproration into their security forces and the contract given and the military is expecting to have over replace ordinary recruits in 10 years time, project XY was a go ahead as the first combat troops slaughtered a group of rebels imprisoned in the fastest time yet of a tornado unit, Clandonian Generals and Commanders watched as their new creations butchered the poor prisoners in minutes.

I dont think this is a feasible MT thing, if it were, I dunno, drugs which make you stronger and such (eg. Starcraft Stim Packs) which we know its possible, yeah. But genetic and man made modifications of this sort, I really dunno.

OOC: Ohh, its possible. Just highly inefficient. You won't get a lot of use out of most of the things you can do now, but you'll end up paying multiple times as much money per soldier.

Drug therapy is of course possible even though it can have quite enourmous side effects.

Designign a super human is not like designing a new tank it is a far far longer and much more costly affair with minimal real benefit outside of specialised circumstances.

The Tritium battle armor trials had been iniated after the completion of project XY. The Tritium system was a radical redesign of the suit taking advantage of many technological leaps. This advanced battle suit was the first to fully integrate with the soldier's body. The suit plugs directly into the soldier's nervous system through a standard issue neural implant. The suit's many functions commmunications, hydro-static gel levels, environmental systems respond to commands issued by the soldier's neurological impulses.

This is also the first design to successfully utilize the reactive metal liquid crystal as a means of enhancing locomotion. It flawlessly enhances the speed and power of the wearer, a sharp contrast to previous versions which required powered motors to allow the soldiers mobility. Because of this advancement, the design more closely resembles an actual suit of armor, as opposed to a powered exoskeleton. On one level the soldier moves the suit and in return the suit moves the soldier. This allowed for an incredibly compact design when compared to the previous incarnations.

The success of this version was also dependent upon the parallel development of the XY program, which produced soldiers with the physical prowess required to drive the system. The Tritium armor contains an integrated computer system which continuously monitors weapons, biological function, and motion through a series of sensors. The suit is air-tight, hardened against vacuum, and features air-filtration systems as well as a built-in oxygen supply that can last for up to 120 minutes, ideal in prolonged periods of NBC environments. The suit's helmet also features a standard military lithium mounted flashlight with its own separate power supply. Concealed side compartments in the upper thigh plates allow the wearer to holster a sidearm. The suit also has a number of other features, including recoil-compensating actuators, hydrostatic gel, to regulate temperature and dampen impact force. Medical care systems must be provided with a direct supply of medicines and stimulants from a standard Clandonian medical kit when the user is injured.


The Corporation welcomes the military funding in the XY programe and it has been sucessful in all combat field trials. Role out will occur within two years for the mainstream military. Corporation security forces will begin widespread roleout in the year, selected combat units will also begin testing a series of new guns to possibly replace the current Corporations rifle to the M4.

Why not, anyone with a basic degree of modern scientifical knowledge should know that this is in the limits, its a space suit basically, a very costly one so don't worry I'm not making millions of these, they are elite troops thats all.

After a deal with an unknown buyer twenty Corporation marked C-5 Galaxys were on the tarmac in Libya at Stamford Air Force base moving civllians into an aircraft. The military had been instructed to ignore any company actions that day as the Corporation security forces with in their uniforms forced people into the aircraft so tightly packed, it looked like there were over 400 people being forced into the back of varing ages.

The 20 aircraft were still awaiting their flight path, but it would never show up on any logs...

In an unknown location in the North there had been reports of a cave collapse and the uncovering of an unknown object. The Corporation sent scientists to investigate the object as it fell within the teritory of one of their uranium mines.

The team has never seen anything like this in their life before, samples were taken and communications taken as the remains of this object were coverved up as Corporation ET teams arrived quarantineing the area for a 'smallpox' outbreak.

Onboard the ship they found some very odd things..... Remains of an unknown organism named S-872. They had found a UFO, the site was fresh, burnt soil visible.

This incident was quickly hidden away in level 12 files, the military were contacted to ensure that there may be a threat to Clandonian security...

Following the UFO shoot down using the stolen alien technology the F-114 was developed. Twenty test versions had been built and were being tested, so far the only possible anti-air system to be able to shoot it down was the upgraded version of the Rapier because of its low level optical tracking systems. It was truely a remarkable aircraft as described by airforce generals.

Elsewhere entry of the Corporate Alliance had been achieved, a long time goal. The beginning of the crisis began as Clandonia allowed Griffencrest forces into the country to begin assesing the military to put off the hostile intentions of the GASN from the Cravans to the South. The military level was raised as the tentions increased as both sides prepared for military action...

Either way, the people of my nation shall consider all clandonian augments freaks, mutants, monsters, 'sub-human', 'man-made-men', etc...

This could turn out interesting since I'm strongly considering the possability of sending a Hurtian into CP in order to 'straighten things out'.

IC: Corporation forces had been in heavy fighting in one of the missions, attacks on Clandonian civillians had occured that had prompted a stern diplomatic communication. The tensions of the CA vs GASN were hotting up, many Griffencrest forces were now in Clandonia.

Also Lord Governer Lancer had not been seen for a few days, this was most odd...

OOC:You did WHAT?! *Newsflash* Clandonia Prime was wiped entirely off the planet today as it unprovokedly attacked an FT nation, opening up what can only be described as a cross-era wank-tastic wormhole, of course no matter how good Clandonian Rappier Mk2 missiles were, they couldn't stop the swift and brutal retaliation of said FT nation.
